I wonder if Ken and Edith Meyers ever wrote a book? Then I would be able to find it. The ranch with ufos in the 1970s . That was a very intriguing book. Bigfoot and Et but this story Bigfoot was the ETs helpers. Some times I think maybe it was a book with more than one story in it. Many ufo stories maybe or a book on Phenomena.. No name no author what chance have I got?

theghostdiaries.com/skinwalker-ranch-the-most-top-secret-paranormal-mystery-of-the-century/ Skinwalker Ranch: The Most Top Secret Paranormal Mystery of the CenturySkinwalker Ranch is hands down one of the most mysterious places on Earth, crossing over into nearly every category of the paranormal world. Where else could UFO sightings be linked with poltergeist-like activity, interdimensional portals, shapeshifting humanoids and mutant wolf encounters? We’ve been obsessed with this case for years, ever since discovering it through a Paracast episode. Ever since then, we’ve been feverishly accumulating as much material as we can to try and understand what the hell is going on at what seems like a military installation devoted to experimenting on paranormal entities…. The indefatigable paranormal author Joni Mayan took on the task of delving into this inscrutable and profoundly disturbing mystery. It’s a subject deserving of the space we are now about to devote to it, and we believe strongly that you will be shocked and petrified when you start fully absorbing the nuances of this multi-generational enigma that can rightly be called the greatest sustained paranormal mystery of all time. Without further ado, here’s the Ghost Diaries report on Skinwalker Ranch, penned by Joni Mayhan. ———————————————————————————— Located in the eerie Uintah Basin of northeastern Utah and surrounded on three sides by mountains and cliffs, Skinwalker Ranch has been the source of thousands of UFO type sightings and strange encounters reported by intrepid journalists who have dared to trespass on this private property. The general consensus is that some kind of above top secret paranormal experimentation has been taking place there, but to truly understand how creepy and mysterious Skinwalker Ranch is you have to know the history and the context. Some people have attributed the phenomena to the original Navajo legend of the Skinwalker. Colm Kelleher & George Knapp on Skinwalker Ranch !!2 Videos Published on Feb 17, 2015 For more than fifty years, the bizarre events at a remote Utah ranch have ranged from the perplexing to the wholly terrifying. Vanishing and mutilated cattle. Unidentified Flying Objects. The appearance of huge, otherworldly creatures. Invisible objects emitting magnetic fields with the power to spark a cattle stampede. Flying orbs of light with dazzling maneuverability and lethal consequences. For one family, life on the Skinwalker Ranch had become a life under siege by an unknown enemy or enemies. Nothing else could explain the horrors that surrounded them -- perhaps science could. Leading a first-class team of research scientists on a disturbing odyssey into the unknown, Colm Kelleher spent hundreds of days and nights on the Skinwalker property and experienced firsthand many of its haunting mysteries. With investigative reporter George Knapp -- the only journalist allowed to witness and document the team's work -- Kelleher chronicles in superb detail the spectacular happenings the team observed personally, and the theories of modern physics behind the phenomena. Far from the coldly detached findings one might expect, their conclusions are utterly hair-raising in their implications. Opening a door to the unseen world around us, Hunt for the Skinwalker is a clarion call to expand our vision far beyond what we know. Skinwalker Ranch Paranormal Talk Radio with George KnappPublished on Dec 3, 2014 George Knapp talks about his book, "The Hunt for the skinwalker" and all the crazy paranormal events of a ranch in Utah. Sherman (or Gorman) Ranch! UFO's, Strange creatures and more. Audio Only! K-TALK 360am Utah with Jack Stockwell

www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/07/02/why-do-ufos-love-this-utah-ranch-so-much.htmlJULY 2, 2015 Why Do UFOs Love This Utah Ranch So Much?by Nina Strochlic / www.thedailybeast.com/contributors/nina-strochlic.html On World UFO Day, the story of the Skinwalker Ranch, which had such a history of weird phenomena—UFO sightings, strange voices—it became the subject of scientific study. In the ranching heartland of America, a mysterious plot of land has been dubbed “the strangest place of earth.” If tales are to be believed, Skinwalker Ranch is an epicenter of extraterrestrial activity, surrounded for decades by disproportionate amounts of UFO sightings and paranormal phenomenons. Sky-watchers celebrating World UFO Day on Thursday should train their telescopes on the alleged alien landing zone of northeastern Utah. In 1994, Terry and Gwen Sherman and their children moved themselves and their cattle into the 480-acre ranch south of Fort Duchesne, Utah. Within two years, they had sold the ranch, desperate to leave behind the paranormal torment they claim they’d been bombarded with. “For a long time we wondered what we were seeing, if it was something to do with a top-secret project,” Terry told the Deseret News in 1996. “I don’t know really what to think about it.” The family described a ship the size of multiple football fields and strange blinking lights. The soil on their fields had large impressions flattened into the grass. There were voices speaking in strange languages that seemed to emanate from thin air. Terry spotted a figure “over seven feet tall” standing next to an object. Cows would disappear into thin air and others would be found killed and mutilated. In total, 14 expensive cattle were taken from the 80-head herd. After chasing a bouncing ball of light, three of their dogs were never seen again. Local retired high school teacher Joseph Hicks had been researching the area’s paranormal sightings since observing a flying object with his students in 1951. my 2 cents : _________________________________________________________________________________ However, as time went by and he apparently got more confident with Michael, he told Michael that they knew what the Lake Erie phenomenon is, because it is the exact thing that is happening in Hessdalen, Norway. But not only there; these object were also flying over Utah Skinwalker Ranch, which is owned by Robert Bigelow! He said that his conclusion regarding these orbs is not that they are what people think and expect, which would be 'physical metal, nuts & bolts UFOs', as he put it, but instead more like portals and have to do with time travel. These were Hernandez' own words, according to Michael Lee Hill.
The results from years of study at the Skinwalker Ranch was released in a book called, 'Hunt for the Skinwalker', by Colm A, Kelleher and George Knapp[15]. I need to add the synopsis of the book here, as presented at amazon.com. It's pretty interesting:wespenre.com/2/appendix-ab-updates-on-remarkable-michael-lee-hill-case.htm__________________________________________________________________________________ I was looking at the Hessdalen project the other day, and it crossed my mind that I've never heard of anyone being "abducted" from this valley. As I searched further, someone in an article (can't find now) mentioned that Erling Strand had been consulted on the Skinwalker Ranch? Trying to again find that link today, I came across the above website.

Skinwalker Ranch activity shifts from paranormal to prosecutable Joshua Murdock 9/25/20
They typically come out at night, roaming a secluded ranch south of Fort Duchesne. Flashing lights in the windows and clawing to get into the ranch house, they terrify the elderly couple living there. They make objects on the ranch frequently disappear, never to be seen again or to be found later somewhere else.
And that's not to mention the supposed creatures these people are roaming the ranch to find.
The Uintah Basin's Skinwalker Ranch is known worldwide for tales of sometimes-graphic paranormal activity stretching from the mid-1800s to the present day. But activity on the ranch in the past decade has transitioned from the unexplained to the uncivilized - frequent illegal trespassing on private property and around the caretakers' home. This led the property owner to request that Uintah County vacate the road bisecting the ranch so security could be further heightened and anyone on the road be charged with trespassing.
On July 18, Basin resident Thomas Winterton represented ranch owner Adamantium Holdings LLC in their request for the vacation of Hicken Ranch Road, which the commission did not approve due to objections from other property owners along the road.
The road is currently gated illegally since it is a public class-D county road, but the owners seek to legitimize the gates by having the road abandoned by the county. The ranch's previous owner, hotel magnate and aerospace entrepreneur Robert Bigelow, gated the public road to deter trespassers.
The 480-acre ranch purchased by Bigelow, in 1996, was the site of a laboratory for National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS), an organization Bigelow founded to investigate anomalous activity from a professional, scientific standpoint. It is unclear who owns Adamantium Holdings, which purchased the ranch in April 2016.
"We just have so many problems with trespassers and people down here and vandalism, and it’s very, very scary," said the elderly woman who, with her husband, is a caretaker for the ranch. "It’s really bad and we really hate it, and we don’t want to be bothered. We’re bothered constantly, day and night."
That August 2016 interview with the caretaker, who asked not to be named, was cut short by trespassers. "Anyway, I’ve got to go down and check the gate; somebody’s down there right now," she said.
Security has remained high at the ranch since NIDS ceased operating in 2004, including cameras, motion detectors and 24-hour security personnel who live on the ranch and patrol the grounds nightly. "I was with Bob Bigelow when he made the decision to have the 24-hour security there because it just got out of hand; everyday was a new report of some outrage," said journalist George Knapp, who in 2002 wrote a two-part "Path of the Skinwalker" article for the Las Vegas Mercury News after being the only reporter Bigelow ever allowed on the property.
In that article, Knapp warned, "Visitors are not welcome at the (Skinwalker Ranch). The ranch is patrolled 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and NIDS emphatically declares that trespassers will be arrested and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law." The article also stated, "Anyone expecting to find the ranch and see UFOs or Bigfoot will be deeply disappointed. Paranormal activity on the property has all but disappeared over the past year, which is a primary reason that access was obtained from NIDS for this article."
Despite his admonitions, Knapp believed his article and subsequent book, "Hunt for the Skinwalker," brought worldwide notoriety to the ranch and its anomalies, and led to frequent trespassing by UFO enthusiasts, monster hunters and thrill seekers from around the world that has yet to subside.
"I don’t think anybody anticipated that the reaction to the book would be quite what it was," said Knapp. "But you know, within a year of the book coming out, you had people just being jerks, walking on private property, walking up to the ranch house in the middle of the night, banging on windows, taking flash photos in the windows and scaring the hell out of the people who live there – the foreman and his wife."
Uintah County Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. bob Fletcher said that a few charges of theft and criminal mischief had stemmed from trespassing on the ranch in recent years, but that many would-be trespassers are shooed away from the ranch during routine patrols.
Bureau of Indian Affairs Fort Duchesne Police Chief Erick Blackburn said that the department occasionally responded to calls on the ranch, but did not mention a prolific problem.
Although reports of anomalous activity at the ranch have been nearly nonexistent since the early 2000s, the property is legendary for its recorded history of unexplained and often frightening events. The most publicized events on the land occurred in the 1990s and include mysterious balls of light, outlandish creatures, UFOs and cattle mutilations, but the lore of the land is far older.
The ranch is surrounded by the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation, and bands of the Ute tribe lived in the region for centuries before the arrival of pioneers in the mid-1800s.
According to Joseph "Junior" Hicks, an 89-year-old retired science teacher from Roosevelt, considered an expert on regional UFO sightings, unexplained occurrences and local history, the Utes fought to expel the Navajo from the Basin shortly before the arrival of white settlers. The Navajo eventually left the Basin and its prime hunting to the Utes, but left upon them the curse of a spirit that could take the form of a human, wolf or, some say, any animal.
"The Navajos lost and they, in turn, cursed the Utes with the skinwalker, saying a spiritual person that changes into a wolf will be here to harass you, and they accepted that," said Hicks. "And so, the skinwalker animal seemed to be on that ridge that they now call the skinwalker ridge."
Skinwalker Ridge, as it's informally known, looms to the north of the ranch's pastures. Its crest is part of the ranch property. "It lives in that area," said Hicks. "They (Utes) wouldn’t even come by or get near it; they just steer clear of it. They see him moving around on the ridge. They don’t know if he has a home there or what, but quite often he’s there. So they stay away entirely and many people won’t have anything to do with it."
Hicks said that the Myers family settled the ranch in 1905, making a small homestead of a few buildings on the property's northwest corner at the foot of Skinwalker Ridge and the edge of their fields. The original homestead was abandoned after the Myers moved to a home on the eastern side of the ranch. Although Hicks said the family didn't report any strange occurrences, neighbors experienced strange happenings and the next owners of the ranch - the Sherman family - were surprised by what they found when they moved into the home.
When the Sherman family moved to the ranch in 1994 to breed hybrid cattle, they "were curious about the impressive array of bolts that covered the doors and windows of the main house," Knapp wrote in 2002. "There were deadbolts on both sides of the doors. Even the kitchen cabinets had bolts on them. And at both ends of the house, iron stakes and heavy chains had been installed. [Sherman] guessed the previous tenants had positioned large guard dogs in the front and back of the home, but he had no idea why." The family didn't wonder for long.
Within days, strange animals seemingly immune to being shot were attacking livestock; their tracks inexplicably vanished. Shafts of light rose like pillars from the ground; fields lit up like stadiums; Big Foot-esque beasts terrorized the family; noises of machinery were heard underground; a massive, semi-visible, shapeless entity terrorized the Shermans and visitors; and multiple people often simultaneously heard a deep, incomprehensible, disembodied voice speaking to them, seemingly from above. UFOs the size of large planes were spotted over the property by the Shermans and their neighbors, and small orbs of varying size and opacity floated around the property and seemed to inspect livestock.
"He’d see some of those hybrids (cattle) disappear or be mutilated and he was very much worried about it, so he called on me to look at it," said Hicks. "Real strange types of things - animals killed, blood was gone, no blood; and certain organs were missing – eyes, nose, genitalia and so on. So that was quite a puzzling thing for them for a while. And then we had some of the strange animals show up when Sherman was there. He tried shooting some of them and, of course, the bullets had no effect."
Strange disturbances in their home left the family with no safe place and they all slept together, huddled on the floor of one room.
The final straw was when Terry Sherman sent his three dogs to chase glowing blue orbs. The dogs disappeared into the woods after the softball-sized spheres and each yelped loudly before falling silent. The next day, all he found in the woods was scorched ground and three lumps of burnt tar, flesh and hair.
The Shermans put the ranch up for sale in 1996 and Bigelow, who had read about the anomalous events in a June 1996 Deseret News article, bought the property to research the stories. He convinced the Shermans to remain on the ranch for a few more years to aid NIDS researchers in observing and documenting unexplained events. While many thought the influx of researchers would expose the stories as myth, just the opposite seemed to occur.
Learn what the NIDS researches experienced in part two of this story, which will be published next week.

This article says that Bigelow still owns it, and hints that in the 90's he might have been the Mr. Gorman (alias) that was mentioned with the Sherman family. thenightsky.org/bigelow.htmlYou mean to tell me no one was on this land between the 30's and 90's ? Wow. Well that is not the ranch I been looking for for decades. I read a book about a family living on a ranch who witnessed ufos almost every day. The visitors even made this owners tv play with it unplugged from the electric socket. I always thought this ranch was in Wyoming. My memory does not serve me well this time. I still have pictures in my mind from that book. They shot a blue beam at his wife. She could not move .. while he went up a beam to the ship. He is the witness who seen a bigfoot come down a ramp from a craft in the woods . He was carrying a purple lighted Pyramid shaped box. Sounded like this bigfoot was a worker. I have been wanting to post this book on every forum I have been on. For years and years. The book was published in the 70s but the content may of happened as far back as the 60's . There were photo graphs in the book. I can still see the mans face perfectly but cannot get a name at all.

I've read that book you keep talking about but don't remember what it was called. I have so many books I could start my own library. I remember reading about the Bigfoot in the UFO though.

Do you remember him carrying that purple lit pyramid ? There could never be two like that. I wish you could find the book for me Sky. I would love to know the name of it. The sheriff was in the story a lot but he never got to witness a thing. Those aliens kept it that way.

Yup. I remember the purple pyramid. The book was about a valley somewhere. Don't remember which state it was in but I think it was close to Colorado or Wyoming...some where in that area.

I can't remember if it was a entire book or a book with many stories in it containing weird events. Before I returned the book to the Library I should of wrote the book number down. I have been going there for years since I moved back here from the Cape. They have so many books on encounters but I have not seen this one. You can't go to the Librarian as say I'm looking for this book with out knowing the name of it and who wrote it. They have a area that is nothing but the paranormal. I look there also. I cannot even remember what the cover of the book looked like. It was not in California or Washington. But a state farther East. My photographic memories has lots of pictures of what I saw when reading this book. I still recall this mans face. I do not think his wife's photo was in it. I remember it was a paperback. big deal.

www.ubmedia.biz/news/article_ddd4b7f2-81e3-11e6-abcd-c770e205dc7a.html More than a decade after research, no explanation for Skinwalker Ranch by Joshua Murdock jmurdock@ubmedia.biz / www.ubmedia.biz/users/profile/josh%20m/Updated Oct 2, 2016 The Skinwalker Ranch near, Fort Duchesne, Utah, is known in the Uintah Basin and worldwide as a mecca for UFO sightings, gruesome animal mutilations, unidentifiable monsters and the skinwalker itself - a wolf-like creature cursed upon the Utes by the Navajos after the latter were expelled from the Basin in the mid-1800s. After years of lying vacant, the Sherman family bought the ranch in 1994 to breed hybrid cattle, but were soon terrorized by massive, Bigfoot-like creatures, UFOs, unexplained occurrences, shapeless monsters and seemingly impossible mutilations of their cattle. After losing nearly a fifth of their cattle and their three dogs to mutilations or disappearances, the family had experienced enough. The Shermans put the ranch up for sale in 1996, which is when aerospace entrepreneur Robert Bigelow, who read about the mutilations in a June 30, 1996, Deseret News article, decided to buy it and establish there a National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS) research center filled with accomplished scientists. Their goal was not necessarily to determine the cause of unexplained events, but rather to properly observe and document events, said George Knapp, a journalist who in 2002 wrote a two-piece article in the Las Vegas Mercury News after being the only reporter allowed on the property. "They didn’t have any preconceptions about what was out there when they went in," said Knapp. "In fact, I think they were probably confident that they would be able to figure it out and explain it, and that is not what happened. Whatever this thing was, this intelligence, it interacted with them in multiple ways that are demonstrable and scary." Knapp said it wasn't a fun experience for some of those at the NIDS research facility. "A lot of these guys with former military experience, that was mainly the security guys that have been there the last seven or eight years, are all special forces type guys; there’s some of them who aren’t afraid of anything but they won’t go back to that property." Researchers witnessed a portal open in the ground, a figure crawl out and disappear into the night. "They saw a glow appear on the ground of the pasture," said Joseph "Junior" Hicks, an 89-year-old retired school teacher considered an expert on UFOs, anomalies and history in the Basin. "They looked closely and it almost looked like a 5-foot-diameter tube was coming up out of the ground. They saw a figure crawling up the tube and then get out, stand up and walk down and disappear." Massive, ferocious creatures in trees and on the ground were observed before disappearing without a trace, leaving only the occasional track that no professional tracker could ever identify. Some ran into the brush while others disappeared before the researchers' eyes. The animal mutilations continued and one mutilation of a calf was especially disturbing and inexplicable, said Knapp. "That calf incident, it happened on a Sunday morning; it happened within 50 yards of the ranch house while the rancher and his wife were out on the range putting tags on the ears of newborn calves, and it happened right while they were on that pasture," he said. "They should’ve been able to hear it; the dogs should’ve reacted to it, and how do you take 75 pounds of meat off a calf without making noise and without leaving blood on the grass?" he added, "It’s really weird; it’s as if it was taken somewhere else and done, and then dropped back." The calf was stripped of its flesh, which had vanished completely, and its entrails were neatly piled on the ground nearby - but no blood was found on the animal or the ground. Multiple independent labs examined the remains and determined the animal was carefully butchered with precise instruments, which seemed impossible given that the calf had gone no more than 200 yards from the Shermans since being tagged less than an hour earlier. NIDS researchers noticed that occurrences seemed to evolve with their observation of them - a "pre-cognitive intelligence," they called it. "After several months of round-the-clock surveillance, a mind-boggling pattern began to emerge," Knapp wrote. "The phenomena, whatever they represent, seemed capable of anticipating the moves of the scientists." Knapp said that whatever was behind the events at the ranch, it or they seemed to not only predict scientists' actions, but also enjoyed toying with the Shermans and the researchers. "It seemed to – and I’m just extrapolating here – but it seemed to kind of enjoy that kind of dominance," he said. "But when the NIDS guys came in and started stalking it, trying to engage with it, trying to figure out what it was, the whole nature of the thing changed; it got nasty and eventually it kind of went underground." Knapp recounted an incident wherein NIDS erected three telephone poles with cameras on the top. "But this thing, whatever it was, went up and ripped the guts out of this camera, tore it all up," he said. "Another camera had a view of that telephone pole at the time that this happened, and whatever did it was invisible. That was almost like making a statement that we don’t want to be observed." One incident Knapp and NIDS researcher Colm Kelleher, a prominent microbiologist, learned of while conducting interviews for their co-authored book, "Hunt for the Skinwalker," was so outlandish compared to other events that they hesitated to even publish it. "We thought, ‘if we put that story in the book, people will think we’re crazy; no one will believe it,'" said Knapp. Knapp and Kelleher decided to include the story because it cut straight to the roots of the original Ute skinwalker history (see part one of this story). The story, as recounted by Knapp, was shared with him and Kelleher by two Ute policemen. "They were driving on the paved road to get to the dirt road that leads to the ranch. So, they get to the road that heads right into the ranch and the gate, and there’s the two figures standing there wearing trench coats, and their backs are to the headlights of the guy’s car. It’s at night. They see that they’re smoking cigarettes; these guys in the trench coats are smoking cigarettes. And the cops stop and they shine a light over toward them and the guys in the trench coats turn around toward them and they’re dogs – they have dog faces. The two Indians look at each other, ‘Holy *bleep*!’ They turn back and look at these guys and they’re gone; they’d vanished. They found the cigarette butts still glowing in the dirt, but the guys in the trench coats with the dog faces were gone." Me and my imagination! 🙃
Look at picture #5 at the beginning of the article - the pic of the actual "skinwalker ridge" ( beautiful picture).
The "ridge" (reddish area) almost looks like a carved in stone dwelling. Now, look up at the clouds directly to the right of this ridge. If I didn't know better, the clouds look like a huge jackolantern smiling down on that ridge!

scotthelmer.com/blog-posts/2017/06/17 Skinwalker Ranch: Win the Book, Watch the Trailer, Join the HuntJune 17, 2017 by Scott Helmer / scotthelmer.com/blog-posts/?author=5500c976e4b0dbde580d6bfa “You are actively hunting it and it will hunt you back”
— Unidentified Policer Officer in the Unitah BasinIt all started with a strange ranch in the middle of nowhere. Skinwalker Ranch, also known as Sherman Ranch, is the now infamous property located on approximately 480 acres southeast of Ballard, Utah, in the Uintah Basin. Made famous in no small part by author Colm Kelleher and investigative reporter George Knapp's book, "Hunt for the Skinwalker" which reveals how for fifty or more years bizarre events at the ranch have ranged from the perplexing to the wholly terrifying. Reported phenomena include orbs, UFOs, animal mutilations, unknown creatures, poltergeist-type events, and many other inexplicable incidents that seem to defy our known reality. Now you can enter to win an autographed copy of the book. Earlier this month investigative filmmaker, Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell appeared on The Scott Helmer Show to announce his latest project, "Hunt The Skinwalker." "Our hope is to use both the scientific and journalistic models to in effect, Hunt the Skinwalker," said Corbell. Hear the entire interview here. On June 16, 2017, Corbell returned to the show to provide an update on the latest developments surrounding his investigation and film, which included a recent trip to "Skinwalker Territory," and to announce a very special contest. Corbell, who is also a protégé of sorts to Knapp, reminded listeners to, "get caught up," directing people to first read Kelleher and Knapp's book. Adding, "when the movie comes out you're going to want to know the history and past of this location." To do this Corbell is offering one lucky winner a copy of the book, "Hunt for the Skinwalker," autographed by the authors, Colm A. Kelleher, Ph.D. and George Knapp. "I don't even have an autographed copy," said Corbell. "This is sure to be a collector's item," added the host, Scott Helmer after learning about the incredible prize during his live broadcast. Listen to the entire interview below. HERE'S HOW TO WIN: Go to HUNTTHESKINWALKER.COM and enter your email address into the pop-up window on the home page. My recent trip to northern Colorado and the very south part of Wyoming- there are now signs that mention "Ute" Natives, "unitah" and other words that reminded me of this book.
Though people claim that this land is now often trespassed, I did wonder when it would possibly get "commercialized". 😒

www.hunttheskinwalker.com/all-news/chameleoSeptember 2, 2017 PROJECT CHAMELEO + SKINWALKER RANCHSeptember 2, 2017 Article by contributor, Hunt The Skinwalker From more than six hundred anomalous incidents on Skinwalker Ranch that have been investigated, documented and catalogued since 1994, a small number of events stand out for the brazen use of invisibility and “cloaking” technology deployed during daylight hours. As Skinwalker Ranch scientists and researchers investigated these incidents and “war gamed” how they may have been perpetrated, inevitably the “us or them” question arose. Were humans (us) capable of pulling off this incident or was a non-human intelligence (them) responsible? This “us or them” conundrum has existed at the heart of “UFO-ology” since the 1950s and is a major contributor to the confusion and lack of progress in the field for decades. The following are a couple of incidents that happened on Skinwalker Ranch that exemplify this ambiguity between “Us and Them”. Incident 1:Following scores of bizarre unexplained incidents experienced by the NIDS team on Skinwalker Ranch between 1996 and 1998, it was decided to deploy multiple surveillance cameras on telephone poles on the ranch in the hope of capturing videotaped evidence of anomalies. By summer 1998, several cameras were recording 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. A particularly disturbing and graphic incident of vandalism unfolded on July 19, 1998. Ranch personnel discovered the wires had been forcefully ripped from three separate cameras that had been installed on one particular telephone pole. Two of the cameras were mobile, employing pan tilt and zoom capabilities, a third was stationary with capability of viewing into the Infra-Red (1000-1200 nanometers). Mobile camera 1, mobile camera 2 and still camera 4 were located in the middle of a large pasture on the most westerly telephone pole. There was no cover to conceal an individual or a group within dozens of yards of the pole. Investigation revealed that the power cord was ripped out of all three camera housings but the optic cords were still attached to the cameras. According to the surveillance tape records all three cameras lost power at approximately 20.28 on July 19, 1998. Investigators also found a PVC piping of about 6 inches in diameter which itself was attached to the telephone pole by U-shaped brackets through which all wires were threaded was forced away from the pole and the brackets were broken. Multiple rounds of duct tape that circled the wires and encircled the pole were missing. Investigators spent hours meticulously quartering the ground around the pole looking for pieces of plastic from the brackets or pieces of duct tape which might have fallen on the grass. They found nothing. By a fortunate coincidence yet another camera that was located on an adjacent telephone pole was aimed directly at the far telephone pole from which the power cords were ripped. Investigators were exultant. They knew it was light enough to easily detect the perpetrators on the other camera. They rushed to the command center to retrieve the relevant recordings. After exhaustively playing back the tape, celebration became muted and depression took over. No human presence could be detected at 20.28 hours. Instead the herd of cattle was seen grazing peacefully near the telephone pole. Skinwalker Ranch investigators conducted extensive high-resolution video enhancement and analysis but no evidence of any human activity was seen. Yet, the resolution was sufficient to validate the extinguishing of a small power light on each of the cameras that occurred precisely at 20.28 hours. The duct tape from the wires that attached the wiring to the other telephone pole had been removed and could not be found. Investigators searched the entire area including the ridge for any unusual tracks and found none. This incident was a brazen act of vandalism and seemed designed to intimidate the NIDS scientists who were living on the ranch. The technology employed advanced camouflage optics that completely shielded the perpetrators from view as they unwound several feet of sticky duct tape from around the pole and then exerted considerable force to rip the wiring out of all three camera housings. The incident was never solved. Incident 2:In July 1996, about six weeks before Tom Gorman sold the property to the National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS), news about the paranormal shenanigans was beginning to leak through the print media: a Deseret News article by reporter Zack Van Eyck (1) had just been published and a radio show had leaked details about the ranch. The following account is summarized from Hunt for the Skinwalker (2). Tom Gorman and his son were approached on their property by a tall stranger asking if he could meditate on the land. Gorman relented and he and his son tad drove the stranger about a mile west on the property to a small pasture that was surrounded by a grove of trees. The man walked into the middle of the open ground, about a hundred yards from the tree line. Tom walked with him a short distance and then stood watching. Tad stayed sitting in the vehicle and silence reigned as the late afternoon sun cast a bewitching light on the scene, this tall man standing silently in the middle of the pasture with his eyes closed and his arms raised much like the pose struck by saints and angels in religious paintings. In the distance, Tom heard a cow bell reverberating through the deep silence. Gorman was puzzled. None of his animals had cow bells. Again, the sound pealed out nearer this time and plainly within the grove of trees. Tom looked in the direction of the sound and thought he could make out a faint blur. Something was moving very quickly between the trees. He watched carefully as the shape moved like a fast blur from tree to tree as if it was circling. Tom suddenly felt uneasy. The guy meditating in the pasture seemed oblivious. Without warning, something large broke from the tree line and moved swiftly towards the meditating man. Tom blinked and tried focusing. He still couldn’t see what it was even though it was broad daylight. It was blurred as if it was hidden in the middle of heat distortion and it was moving very quickly. Gorman realized that this cloaked “thing” was making a beeline for the blissful meditator who was completely unaware of what was bearing down on him. Tom was about to yell a warning but it was too late. The shimmering wraith like phantasm had stopped just inches from the meditator. It let out a deep throated animal roar that reverberated around the ranch. Tom froze. The stranger leaped back about ten feet and began screaming. As fast it had approached the shimmering almost invisible creature departed for the tree line. Tom watched as it was hidden behind pixelated blocks and within seconds it had vanished deep in the trees. The visitor was on ground screaming hysterically and out of his mind with fear. Quickly Gorman and his son bundled the quivering man into their vehicle and drove to the gate. The stranger still babbled incoherently about how the property was cursed and he would never set foot there again. A few weeks later the family was watching a rerun of the 1987 movie Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura, both let out a yell when they first saw the shimmering alien creature. “That is what we saw” they swore to the other family members. The predator in the movie appeared to exactly encapsulate the level of camouflage of what they had seen on the ranch. When Gorman related the story to the Skinwalker Ranch research team a few months later, the team wondered if the ranch was being used as an experimental field testing station for advanced camouflage technology. In the recent past, Auntym posted an article (that led to a very interesting blog to me) of a husband and wife "team" that had gone out "hunting" in their home area at night. It was near Butler, Mo.
Can you recall that "website" Aunty? I believe that the woman's name was "Lori". Her husband had some sort of slowly advancing, but somewhat disfiguring disease. ?
Ultimately, they quit " hunting ". They became understandably scared.
Their website/blog may be long gone.
They mentioned one experience near LaCygne, Ks. that still raises the hackles on my back. It was about a possibly large creature that was "camouflaged" much like the " predator " movies, but the damage it did to the forest was obvious....and there were humans around; dressed in fatigues.

mysteriousuniverse.org/2017/09/hunting-the-skinwalker/ Hunting the Skinwalkerby Jeremy Corbell / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/desertyeti/September 16, 2017 It’s midnight in Utah, and a full moon engulfs the ghoulish landscape with a pale blue light. It’s a typical Saturday, except that I’m camping on tribal Indian land. My guide (and protector) for the evening is security from the Ute Indian Tribe. I could swear he’s just as anxious as me. We’re exploring an area historically known for it’s high-strangeness, it’s UFOs, Skinwalkers and paranormal activity. I can’t help but wonder why I’ve agreed to be bait for this excursion. Yep, human bait. Where we’re camping is said to be directly along the path of the Skinwalker. No, that’s not a good thing. Luckily we have a tribal shaman on hand, just incase things get out of control. In 1996 a real estate mogul and self-made billionaire, Robert Bigelow (of Bigelow Aerospace) purchased 480 acres of land in northern Utah. Not as an intended vacation home or a good investment, but rather because this land had become known as an epicenter for UFOs and bizarre paranormal-like activity. Mr. Bigelow wanted answers to some big questions, and he was determined to find them, regardless of the cost. This particular plot of land has become known as Skinwalker Ranch, and despite a great deal of effort to conceal the mystery, it’s no longer a secret. Something unusual lurks in these areas. It prowls the night in secrecy. It hunts and haunts, and has remained elusive. It’s only a story overheard at campfires, until it’s not. Credible people have been confronted by the events in this area – and we are confronted by their tales. In the religious traditions of some Native American tribes, a Skinwalker is a shapeshifter, a sorcerer, a witch and a trickster. Skinwalker is the blanket explanation used by the Ute tribe of northeastern Utah to explain a myriad of frightening, seemingly paranormal events that have occurred in the Uintah Basin for hundreds, if not thousands of years. Reported phenomena include orbs, UFOs, animal mutilations, unknown creatures, poltergeist-type events, and many other inexplicable incidents that seem to defy our known reality. The entire Uintah Basin holds stories of unknown entities, tales of other dimensions as far back as can be seen. It’s one of those places where legends are born. A place where “the world is thin”. For the past quarter century, only whispers have escaped these sacred lands. But now, that’s all about to change. Due to Mr. Bigelow’s personal interest in UFOs (caused by a sighting his grandparents had of a disc shaped craft in 1947), he employed a crack team of PhD level scientists to conduct a long-term investigation into the reports of UFO phenomena at the ranch. The team was tasked to use the ranch as a base, and to investigate the happenings on the property and in the surrounding Uintah Basin. They were to do so quietly, and with rigor. This endeavor would develop into the most intensive scientific investigation of a “paranormal hotspot” in the history of the world. And what was encountered during this study would test the belief and reason of all involved. To lead this team of scientists was a man named Dr. Colm Kelleher. An immunologist and molecular biologist by trade, Dr. Kelleher answered an ad in a scientific publication stating something to the effect of, “Organization seeking skilled scientists to research the origin and evolution of consciousness in the Universe”. Dr. Kelleher welcomed the challenge and the change. Thanks to Mr. Bigelow, The National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS) was born. One of NIDS many research projects was to unravel the mystery posed at the now famous, Skinwalker Ranch. During this time, Las Vegas based Investigative Reporter George Knapp was allowed within the inner-circle of the Skinwalker Ranch happenings research. He was permitted to observe, interview and speak with the NIDS team… but not to report. It must have been similar to serving as an un-armed observer during a time of war. It must have been difficult. I can only imagine the frustration with being exposed to such an astounding scientific study… yet having to remain relatively silent for over two decades. Knapp, a consummate and legendary journalist, remained like Fort Knox. As I walk through the thick brush and ancient rocks of this haunting landscape, I recall the warning I received from a tribal police officer earlier in the day. I was pulled aside and told point blank, “You need to be careful. You need to protect yourself. You’re messing with something that’s not good. You’re actively hunting it. It will hunt you back. It’s powerful, and given the chance, it will harm you. I’ve seen it happen. These things will attach to you. They will follow you. This is real. People I know have been driven mad by it. You’re hunting this thing, and it knows it. You need to be really careful.”In 2002 some of the veil was lifted. Knapp was given permission to write two articles on Skinwalker Ranch research. Entitled Path of the Skinwalker, parts 1 and 2, both articles caused a sensation. Then in 2005 the book about Skinwalker Ranch titled, Hunt For The Skinwalker by Knapp and Kelleher was published. A central purpose behind the publication of the book was to obtain feedback from people in North America and worldwide regarding additional hotspots of paranormal activity. The book chronicles the work of the NIDS scientific team, and represents a clear and precise testament to the events that caused so much wonder and bemusement. The book is *bleeping* terrifying. The events described within became even more frightening for me when I started meeting the witnesses and scientists for myself. I could no longer look at the stories as works of fiction; I was forced to consider that the events at the ranch might just be real. It is entirely possible that the explanation for the broad range of unusual (and occasionally hostile) activity at Skinwalker Ranch is beyond the ability of humans to comprehend or to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Nonetheless, the pursuit of truth is still a worthwhile endeavor, and could eventually help us to understand our place and our role in the cosmos. In 2016, Mr. Bigelow packed up and moved on. He sold the ranch to another enigmatic (and yet to be revealed) owner. But The Phenomenon doesn’t seem to care and continues… unabated. It’s around 3am and I’m now walking alone under the full moon. The legends and stories I have been told paint a mood around me. I have no fear, in fact I embrace the darkness. I experience no horror, as I haven’t seen anything anomalous personally. The tribal law enforcement would consider my lack of caution foolish. Maybe it is. I’m eager to find out, and with time, I’m confident I will. I don't know if you're familiar with the Skinwalker Ranch over here in Utah. I have a close relative that is pretty much the UFO guy in that area. He's been telling me these stories ever since I was a little kid so I've been out to that ranch several times and I was out there last spring (2013) and nothing happened. We went around the ranch areas and nothing happened. We went home and, that was a Friday night, on a Saturday night something did happen, what I later found out through my UFO relative. There was some youth Indians, kids, they were driving in a tall truck about 8 feet high and they went up to the gate of this UFO Ranch. They said that they saw an orb of light appearing in the window off or above the gate and I guess they turned on their lights or they turned on their engine because they got scared. Then it had even a brighter light and it went over their truck and these kids...well, something hit their truck. These kids got scared so they went down the road to the main road and they got out which is, I'm guessing, about three quarters of a mile. They got out to look at the damage done to this truck and for some reason, the driver decided to be the passenger and then the passenger was the driver. Apparently there are some girls with them in this truck. Well, once they got back in the truck, this is where it gets very unbelievable. A creature grabbed this kid, who was the driver and now the passenger, and pulled him out of the truck. It threw him around like a rag doll, bit him on the butt several times, and clawed him. Long story short, somehow this kid got back in the truck and one of the kids took a picture of this creature. They got scared. They were able to get back in their truck, I mean drove down the road, talked to the youth Indian police because it's a youth territory over there. The youth Indian police say there's nothing we can do about it because they're very well aware of the Skinwalker Ranch. So the next day, which would be Sunday, they contacted my UFO relative and he went down there to investigate. Meanwhile there was a shaman's wife and the shaman was there blessing the kids that were involved in this. My UFO relative, said that he saw the picture on the cell phone of this creature. He also saw the damage done to the truck. There was also scratched into the truck – DIE - and he also saw the damage done to this kid and the bite marks. Now that was very unbelievable for me to hear. The crazy thing about it is, a few months ago, I work at a hospital, and one of my patients was actually the shaman's wife and she was the one that was also there at that time that my relative was there to investigate. She told me exactly what my relative said, but in greater detail. The creature that she described, and also my relative said, had to be a tall creature because he would hold this kid out of this window. That's the 8-foot tall truck and this creature had horns. It had red hair. It had a human-like face but the mouth was distorted and it came out kind of like a wolf. It had claws and it had bat wings. So my question is to you, and I asked my UFO relative, is this the skinwalker? And he goes, "No, this is something totally different." And I asked also the shaman's wife and she agreed that it was something totally different.” Source: Coast to Coast Radio - July 25, 2014 MORE STORIES: www.phantomsandmonsters.com/2017/09/daily-2-cents-native-boy-attacked-near.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+PhantomsAndMonstersAPersonalJourney+%28Phantoms+and+Monsters%29

Creepy!
Not somewhere that I want to "go visit".
I do understand local "kids" wanting to go there... and experience mild scares, but with something this "major", and being a couple of years ago, how much has happened that we know nothing about??
Wasn't someone going to put out another book that details more events?

www.dailygrail.com/2018/05/were-human-guinea-pigs-at-skinwalker-ranch-part-of-the-secret-pentagon-ufo-program/ Were Humans Used as Guinea Pigs at Skinwalker Ranch as Part of the Secret Pentagon UFO Program?by red pill junkie / www.dailygrail.com/author/red-pill-junkie/Tuesday, May 8th Back in 2013 the famous comedian, UFC commentator and podcaster Joe Rogan had a TV series on the SyFy channel named Joe Rogan Questions Everything, whose focus was to investigate in a lighthearted way some unsolved mystery or paranormal topic every week. Sadly, the show lasted only 6 weeks, and I always suspected part of the reason why it was so short-lived was because when they ran their alien episode (“Real Close Encounters”) Joe decided to go mano-a-mano with the mother of all ufological high-strangeness stories: The infamous Skinwalker Ranch. …That’s like deciding all of a sudden that you want to get your pudgy *bleep* fit and work out with some of those bitching kettlebells Joe’s company sells, but instead of learning the moves with the beginner’s 18-lb howler monkey model, you go for the 90-lb Sasquatch kettlebell instead! “Bro, I can take it! I read “The Day After Roswell”“! Me: *nods and dials the paramedics* Believe me: I’ve been studying UFOs all my life, and something like Skinwalker still gives me serious ‘brain sprain’. Ever since I read the book Hunt for the Skinwalker, co-written by Colm A. Kelleher and George Knapp, many of the assumptions I once had about what the phenomenon may or may not be had to be put into serious question. Right now there’s an interesting cultural shift in the perception of UFOs due to the dissemination of (apparent) ‘officially sanctioned’ information by Tom Delonge and his TTS/AAS initiative; but even those in the general public, mainstream media or academia who have been encouraged to reconsider their initial disdain for the topic due to those favorable articles in the New York Times and the Washington Post, would still face great difficulty in accepting at face value even a small percentage of what has allegedly transpired in that former cattle ranch located at the Uintah Basin, in the state of Utah. The problem is that, if the ‘limited handouts’ released by TTS/AAS continue, sooner or later all those new UFO enthusiasts will need to break sweat and get up to speed ASAP with what we ‘veterans’ have been trying to wrap our heads around, ever since we graduated from the ‘lightweight’ routine exercises of foo fighters or close encounters of the 1st /2nd kind, and now break our mental muscles with the ‘Iron Man’ challenge that is Skinwalker and other equally baffling tales of high strangeness, in which those comfy and neatly defined categories separating ufology, cryptozoology and parapsychology are blurred beyond all recognition. So start stretching, boys and girls, because you’re about to feel the burn. Skinwalker ranch (Google Maps) The Background Trying to summarize the whole Skinwalker saga into a short paragraph is a fool’s errand, but for the benefit of those 18-lb N00bs I’ll do what I can: The region in which the ranch was built has been considered to be the locus of strange activity for perhaps hundreds of years. The Ute tribes refrained from going near the area because they believed it had been cursed by the Navajo when the Ute allied with the US military against them; since then, they say, that land became the hunting ground of a ‘Skinwalker’ – an evil sorcerer with the power to shape-shift. Eventually white settlers claimed the land and the high strangeness was allegedly reported by neighbors to the ranch; but it wasn’t until 1994, when the Sherman family bought the property with the intention to breed high-priced cattle, that the modern mythology of Skinwalker really begins. Knapp and Kelleher’s book gives a detailed account of the harrowing experiences Terry Sherman and his family suffered; ranging from poltergeist activity, UFO sightings, encounters with giant hairy humanoids, cattle mutilation and teleportation(!) and the alleged disintegration of the three family dogs by some form of mysterious energy – Sherman only found “three lumps of burnt tar, flesh and hair.” Oh yeah, and let’s not forget the giant bullet-proof wolf! Something that became the butt of almost every one of Rogan’s jokes when he sarcastically reminisced on his SyFy series, and which was also prominently featured in the 2013 film Skinwalker Ranch, which sadly felt short in its attempt to adapt the story’s high strangeness for the big screen; something that pains me to state since my buddy Steve Berg not only stars in that movie, but was also involved in the production and writing of the script, and I know for a fact he’s a true student of the paranormal – like I said, ‘brain sprains’. You never get rid of them… By 1996 the Shermans had had it with the Trickster energy plaguing them, and were on the verge of collapse – emotionally, psychologically and financially. They were seeking to get rid of the property and find another place in which to have a modicum of a ‘normal’ life. By that time their story had already garnered a bit of notoriety in the local press, which was more than enough for Las Vegas billionaire – and paranormal enthusiast – Robert Bigelow, to take an immediate interest: He called Terry Sherman and made him an offer on the ranch he couldn’t refuse, but asked him to remain on the property as guardian while he sent a team of scientists from his recently-founded National Institute of Discovery Science (NIDS) to try and investigate the phenomena present in the Utah property. Hunt for the Skinwalker (book cover) What transpired in the ranch while the NIDS team stayed there has never been officially released, and we only have the written testimony of the Kelleher/Knapp book, along with the vague declarations of some of the external consultants Bigelow hired under strict non-disclosure agreements – such as Col. John B. Alexander and even Dr. Jacques Vallee. In 2004 Bigelow disbanded NIDS, and one of the reasons for doing so was allegedly because the activity at the ranch had ‘receded’ – something George Knapp also maintained. It seemed as if Bigelow had lost interest in chasing after UFOs on his Utah ranch and decided to focus all his energy on Bigelow Aerospace, the company he created in order to license a NASA patent for inflatable orbital habitats, which he intends to develop as private space hotels. Bigelow Aerospace’s render of their projected inflatable orbital station The ProgramBut now let’s jump ahead 14 years and take a look what has transpired so far: We learn thanks to the TTS/AAS release of 2017 that a black Pentagon project was started at the behest of at-the-time Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (NV-Dem) back in 2007, in order to study unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) and the potential threat they pose to national security, and that Robert Bigelow – a friend of Reid – won the bid for the contract, and used the money granted by the DIA to build a large building at his Bigelow Aerospace plant in Las Vegas, Nevada, for reasons directly related to the study. To work on the DIA contract Bigelow replaced his defunct NIDS with a new scientific initiative called Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS), which seems to have been the prime beneficiary of Bigelow Aerospace’s facility expansion. And by 2010, researchers noticed that on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), website pilots were encouraged to report their UFO sighting to… BAASS! Persons wanting to report UFO/unexplained phenomena activity should contact a UFO/unexplained phenomena reporting data collection center, such as Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) (voice: 1-877-979-7444 or e-mail: Reporting@baass.org) Not only that, but it’s clear Bigelow was eager to get their hands on fresh UFO reports through any available channel: In 2008 (one year after the Pentagon AATIP program started) Bigelow had made an agreement with MUFON to bankroll the civilian organization so they could get ‘boots on the ground’ as soon as they learned of a new case – the so-called STAR Team initiative. Feuds on how MUFON would spend Bigelow’s monies – which we NOW know came from the Pentagon program – abounded. By 2009 MUFON’s international director James Carrion resigns out of frustration of how Bigelow was taking hold of the organization. How much did he take hold of MUFON throughout the years? By 2012 it is revealed by researcher Jack Brewer of The UFO Trail that John Carpenter, who was the director of abduction research for MUFON at the time, had handed over information of abductees – people who claim to have been taken once or on numerous occasions by alien beings for alleged experimentation purposes – to NIDS in the mid-1990s in exchange for money. Why this matters is because the names and particulars of those individuals were shared by them with MUFON in full confidentiality, so at the very least it is an ugly breach in ethics. Let us now jump to a statement published last Sunday at the Las Vegas Now news Channel 8 website – where George Knapp is part of its team of reporters – which was one of a number of documents Knapp procured from BAASS to prove there was indeed a Pentagon-backed UFO study based in Nevada. The title of the document – which is tellingly short – is unsigned and reads Statement from a Senior Manager of BAASS. It claims that during the time of the Pentagon program BAASS hired, trained and deployed “50 full-time staff comprising retired military intelligence [emphasis mine] and law enforcement officers, PhD level scientists, engineers, technicians, analysts, translators, and project managers to create the largest multi-disciplinary full-time team in history to investigate the UFO topic.” The document also boldly states that BAASS’s investigation ultimately proved the phenomenon was more than simply “nuts and bolts” machines that interacted with military aircraft, something authors and researchers like Nick Redfern, Greg Bishop and many others have been championing for years, much to the chagrin of those who are still waiting to ‘kick the tires’ of flying saucers, and learn all about their propulsion systems. The anonymous author acknowledges how the phenomenon manifests in a wide variety of ways, including “bizarre creatures, poltergeist activity, invisible entities, orbs of light, animal and human injuries and much more.” But the biggest bombshell comes in the final few paragraphs: One of the major successes of BAASS was in adopting the novel approach of utilizing the human body as a readout system for dissecting interactions with the UFO phenomenon. This novel approach aimed to circumvent the increasing evidence of deception and subterfuge by the UFO phenomenon in that multiple eyewitnesses co-located in the same vicinity frequently reported seeing widely different events. The evidence was multiplying that the UFO phenomenon was capable of manipulating and distorting human perception and therefore eyewitness testimony of UFO activity was becoming increasingly untrustworthy. The BAASS approach was to view the human body as a readout system for UFO effects by utilizing forensic technology, the tools of immunology, cell biology, genomics and neuroanatomy for in depth study of the effects of UFOs on humans. This approach marked a dramatic shift away from the traditional norms of relying on eyewitness testimony as the central evidentiary arm in UFO investigations. The approach aimed to bypass UFO deception and manipulation of human perception by utilizing molecular forensics to decipher the biological consequences of the phenomenon. The result of applying this new approach was a revolution in delineating the threat level of UFOs. Contrary to the statement’s claims, using human beings as a ‘readout system’ is actually nothing new. Such an approach has been utilized in the field of parapsychology for many years. In this 2011 interview for Radio Misterioso for example, Dr. Barry Taff – a parapsychologist best known for his involvement with the famous ‘Entity’ case of 1974, which was the basis of a Hollywood horror movie – explained to the host Greg Bishop how his research had convinced him that during paranormal phenomena the human body acts as a kind of ‘bio-reactor’ which somehow seems to help the activity to manifest into our plane of reality, which would explain how paranormal activity tends to be more localized on certain people. He has also found certain correlations between geo-magnetic anomalies and epilepsy-prone individuals. Diana Walsh Pasulka is a professor and Chair of the Department of Philosophy and Religion in the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and the author of the upcoming book American Cosmic, which deals with novel approaches to the UFO topic as well as validating the deep interest wealthy individuals in the private sector have in the subject, and how these entrepreneurs are trying to find ways to study and capitalize on the phenomenon, just as Robert Bigelow has tried to do. On her Facebook page she acknowledged that BAASS’s method of making the human being the locus or site for the study of the effects, ‘concurred’ with what the scientists she interviewed for her book told her. Parapsychologists have been documenting positive results of their experiments for years. The problem is they are yet to propose a model for these results that would convince experts from other fields, because such models would demand a departure from the current materialist paradigm our modern science is based on. But as history has taught us again and again, observation always precedes theoretical prediction, and the current state of psi research is akin to the state of research of electromagnetism in the 19th century, before a viable mathematical model was formalized. Such is the argument raised in this paper – published at the CIA website no less! – written by Harold Puthoff and Russell Targ, who lead the Stanford Research Institute back when the US government was running its famous Stargate ‘psychic’ project. (Hal Puthoff, it bears mentioning, is vice president of the TTS/AAS Science and Technology division) So it does seem BAASS is indeed following a much needed non-orthodox approach to the study of UFOs that is borrowed from the parapsychology handbook, which places the human being as a primary focus of the effects caused by UFO/paranormal activity: not only that, but it also boldly concludes that whatever it is we’re dealing with, it’s not just metal spacecraft from some other planet following a bizarre version of Star Trek’s prime directive. Great! …Only there’s just two little pesky details that remain a mystery: WHO are the individuals used by BAASS as a ‘readout system’ during their research, and WHERE were those experiments conducted? The WhistleblowerWhen I first learned about the AATIP/AASWA Pentagon program and slowly began to try and connect the dots, I initially thought that the New York Times‘ reference to “[r]esearchers [who] also studied people who said they had experienced physical effects from encounters with the objects and examined them for any physiological changes” meant that Bigelow’s team were studying military pilots who got in close proximity with UFOs – or even commercial pilots too, given the FAA’s referral to Bigelow’s number on their website! Then I remembered the ‘Carpenter affair’ discussed earlier, and wondered if perhaps BAASS had also tried to investigate the abductees in MUFON’s database. But after reading the statement from their anonymous ‘former senior member’, I was reminded of this 2012 episode of The Paracast, in which Gene Steinberg and his co-host Chris O’Brien – who has been involved in the Skinwalker investigation since before it went public – organized a round table with two other Skinwalker researchers: my friend David Weatherly and Ryan Skinner (Skinner, by the way, was one of the investigators featured in that disastrous Joe Rogan Questions Everything episode on alien encounters… although funnily enough his name does not appear on the IMDB credits). The round table of investigators and Gene were joined in the first half of the show by ‘Chip’ (a pseudonym), who claimed to have worked sporadically at the Utah ranch from 2009 to 2010 as a security guard – 8 weeks on and off in total, in periods of two weeks at a time. If true, this would make it the first and only time in history when someone who was actually a staff member of BAASS has gone on the record! What is interesting is that, now that 6 years have passed since that interview, we see that the information now coming out validates most of what Chip disclosed back then: How their HQ was in Las Vegas, and at first they were flown from there to Utah, but eventually they had to rely on long drives to the ranch because all the contracted security personnel (who ALL had military clearance) were required to carry sidearms – something which didn’t make much sense to ‘Chip’ since his supposed job was to protect the property from trespassers, who largely consisted of UFO enthusiasts and local kids in search of a thrill and a place to drink… unless the weapons were intended to protect the lives of the guards from other threats. Another reason why Chip didn’t think the owners weren’t obsessed with security was the fact that, according to him, by the time he worked on the ranch NONE of the cameras in the property were working. They were there just for show; perhaps BAASS had learned from the previous mistakes of NIDS in the futility of attempting surveillance on a phenomenon that doesn’t like to be spied on… The time in which Bigelow’s organization had a massive hiring of staff (2009) with 50 to 60 people at their building in Las Vegas at their peak, followed by the layoffs of everyone involved by 2010, when they were told “they had lost their contract” – and according to ‘Chip’ the ones signing the paychecks were the NSA, something that was truly revelatory in 2012, but not anymore now that we have confirmation of the ties between BAASS and the DIA. How he heard second-hand that at one point a few high-ranking military officers visited the ranch, and that they experienced something so disturbing – he never learned what – they ‘freaked out’ and demanded to be escorted out of the property immediately. But the most important thing Chip disclosed – and the main purpose of this essay – is the complete lack of insight given by his former employer with regards to the background of the location he was supposedly protecting! “You are doing security” is all he and his companions were told, and they were ordered to patrol the perimeter 24/7 accompanied by dogs, which were not even true police K-9 units according to Chip, but just regular household pets. This would make one suspect the dogs were not used as an actual guarding tool, but as ‘bio-sensors’ intended to pick up anomalies earlier than their human counterparts thanks to their heightened senses. One thing his employers did tell Chip was that in the event of ‘seeing’ or ‘sensing’ anything strange, he was to “scan the area and take pictures.” Chip did face a few anomalous things during his stay at the ranch: An unplugged stereo turning on by itself; feeling nauseous all of a sudden during one of his patrols, with the discomfort disappearing just as quickly as it began; he did not feel the ‘artificial fear’ reported in many paranormal accounts – which some investigators explain as a possible physiological response to infrasound frequencies – but at one point he did experience the hairs on the back of his neck raising for no apparent reason, during which his companion dog would ‘roll on its back’ in a submissive manner. Some of the photos he took also showed what seemed to be ‘glowing orbs’. And the last important detail shared by Chip in that 2012 interview, was the fact that whenever the personnel saw or felt something strange, they were required to have urine tests and bring the vials back to Vegas by the end of their shift (!). Chip also mentioned ‘brain scans’ performed on the individuals, although they were never informed of the results of such tests. This last part of his job convinced Chip that he was there at the Skinwalker ranch more as a ‘guinea pig’ than as a security guard. “They were testing us,” he said to Gene, Chris, David and Ryan on that Paracast episode. He thought that perhaps the military was trying out something new at the remote rural location, and he and his colleagues were used as lab rats without their consent. Indeed, it wouldn’t be the first time such unethical experiments have been carried out. But in light of the new BAASS revelations, perhaps the real reason behind the secrecy and the monitoring of the effects of the personnel’s stay at the ranch was because instead of being exposed to an illegal experimental weapon, Chip and the others were used as a ‘readout system’ for the paranormal activity located inside the Utah property, and thus were told as little as possible in order not to create biased expectations on these men and on how they would react to whatever they might encounter. That would also explain the need keeping the security staff in constant rotation, and performing short-duration tours of just two weeks at a time. If I’m right – and I will always be the first to admit I’m speculating, apart from the fact all of this comes from an anonymous source – then in the future we might see even more BAASS/AATIP endorsed revelations in the mainstream media, and more people in high-ranking positions acknowledging the importance of taking UFOs seriously. But, we will probably also continue to have very little in terms of the BIG revelations obtained by Bigelow’s research team – so we who are well past being bedazzled by grainy gun camera videos would do well to keep prying deeper and demanding the real ‘juicy’ stuff to be addressed. Yes we know UFOs exist and fighter pilots encounter them, *bleep*! But what about what was uncovered at Skinwalker ranch?? If American taxpayer’s dollars were indeed used for conducting research in the Utah property —which was sold by Bigelow’s company in April of 2016— then the American people have a right to find out more, or at very least to receive an official response from the DIA. ConclusionSo here it is: My best effort to connect the dots and lift this exhausting, 90-lb kettlebell of a case, which sometimes has the face of a red-eyed Sasquatch, other times the face of a cigarette-smoking dogman, but most of the time it probably has a shape incomprehensible to the human mind… If you managed to follow me this far and your brain hasn’t totally exploded yet, then congrats and fret not, because sooner or later it will. And when it does, you’ll be one step closer to that ghastly realization that steals the sleep of many in this field: that perhaps the reason why the true reality of the UFO phenomenon hasn’t been disclosed – and perhaps it never will – is not because unethical deeds have been performed in an attempt to grasp it by those in the shadows, or even the possibility that sometimes the phenomenon is actively hostile to humans; but because bringing to light what the phenomenon might be, and what it truly might represent could seriously threaten to obliterate EVERYTHING we take for granted, including the nature of Reality itself. That my friends, is far scarier than any jumbo-sized wolf, bullet-proof or not. mysteriousuniverse.org/2018/06/hunt-for-the-skinwalker-filmmaker-reveals-secrets-of-infamous-utah-ranch-dubbed-the-paranormal-disneyland/ Hunt for the Skinwalker: Filmmaker Reveals Secrets of Infamous Utah Ranch Dubbed the “Paranormal Disneyland”by Robbie Graham / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/rgraham/June 29, 2018 A new documentary feature examining inexplicable phenomena at a remote ranch in Utah will “weaponize your curiosity and invigorate the debate about UFOs and the paranormal.” So says its director, Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell. The documentary, Hunt for the Skinwalker, is based on the eponymous bestselling book by investigative reporter George Knapp and Dr. Colm Kelleher. Corbell, a former Jujitsu sensei-turned documentarian of extraordinary beliefs, expects his film to provoke serious scientific discussion when it drops on iTunes on September 11 this year. “It’s a huge injection of information to the public on this topic,” says the filmmaker. “It’s inescapable and certainly it will be impactful.” Corbell’s film revisits and significantly expands upon the material presented in its 2005 source material, which examined a myriad of terrifying, seemingly supernatural events reported over hundreds of years in a scenic Utah basin. Isolated and exposed within this basin sits what is ominously known as “Skinwalker Ranch,” a property long-plagued by otherworldly intrusions, from poltergeist activity and animal mutilations, to sightings of UFOs and unknown creatures and entities. After the owners of the ranch fled in terror in the 1990s, an exhaustive, multidisciplinary scientific study began, spearheaded by the enigmatic Las Vegas billionaire, Robert Bigelow. A team of PhD-level investigators was deployed to collect evidence; eventually, they would spend more than a decade on the ground, interviewing witnesses, searching for explanations, and directly confronting what seemed to be an unknown intelligence. Today, the ranch remains shrouded in mystery and secrecy. Certain government/corporate interests have preferred to keep the ranch off-limits to the general public as their scientific investigations continue. But this hasn’t stopped Corbell from gaining access (he knows the right people—and Jujitsu). After years of distant fascination with what George Knapp tantalisingly describes as “the paranormal Disneyland,” the filmmaker was compelled to visit the ranch for himself. In this exclusive interview for Mysterious Universe, Corbell discusses government involvement at the ranch, the nature of the phenomena reported there, and the theories that may account for them. Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell.RG: Tell us what first attracted you to Skinwalker Ranch, and what viewers can expect from your film. JKLC: Like most people, I first heard about Skinwalker Ranch from the book, Hunt For The Skinwalker by George Knapp and Dr. Colm Kelleher. I was initially drawn by the stories about a broad scale of paranormal events, and my interest was cemented years later when I learned about the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) involvement, even though I could not publicly acknowledge it. The DIA attempted to scientifically investigate the occurrences experienced at Skinwalker Ranch. Investigators used the unique location as a “living laboratory,” attempting to understand for themselves the varied phenomena that display on and around the property. One of the aims was to determine if The Phenomenon presented a threat to National Security, and another was to attempt to determine the mechanisms utilized by The Phenomenon. The fact that the United States government was involved at all is fascinating. A structure at Homestead II, Skinwalker Ranch. There is an undoubtedly a rich and diverse recorded history of “paranormal” phenomena—including UFOs and creatures—in the Uintah Basin. Groups like NIDS (National Institute for Discovery Science) and BAASS (Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies) attempted to use the scientific method to grasp the nature and origin of what is witnessed. I’ve been fortunate to have a unique vantage point on what has occurred at Skinwalker Ranch through my mentor in journalism, George Knapp. The opportunity to interface with those closest to the events at the ranch has compelled me to make it the focus of one of my documentary films. For the first time in history, I will be able to show rare footage that spans more than twenty-five years, over three active investigations, and two owners of the ranch, and with past and current interviews with witnesses to the high-strangeness in the area. My film will give you direct access. You can expect a powerful documentary that will weaponize your curiosity and invigorate the debate about UFOs and the paranormal. Security at Skinwalker Ranch. RG: How much time have you spent at the ranch, and have you personally experienced any anomalous activity there? JKLC: I have been to the ranch on a number of occasions, spent multiple days there in succession. I joined members of my team for night observations, day missions… and have been lucky enough to be used as “bait” for The Phenomenon. Or at least I was told I was lucky to be used as “bait.” I was able to film at the ranch with my team, conduct interviews and use that footage in my upcoming film. Footage from the ranch is so rare; it was an opportunity I could not pass up. Due to the secrecy surrounding Skinwalker Ranch, naturally people want to know if I’ve personally experienced any anomalous activity there. I will offer this… a friend to many of us on the Hunt For The Skinwalker investigatory team is artist and musician, Robbie Williams. He and I were out and about on the ranch recently, discussing the potential of experiencing The Phenomenon. Robbie made a funny comment to me that sums up much of our experience… SKINWALKER RANCH / 3AM / HOMESTEAD II
Robbie Williams: So, the NIDS team was here on the ranch attempting to document the high-strangeness for seven years?
JKLC: Yes.
Robbie Williams: And they only documented about one-hundred dramatic encounters throughout that time?
Me: That’s right.
Robbie Williams: So, we’re basically hunting for the proverbial paranormal needle in a haystack.
JKLC: When you put it that way, it really brings things into perspective! (laughter)With that said, I personally have not experienced anything on Skinwalker Ranch that I would consider truly anomalous. If you look at it from Robbie’s perspective, he’s absolutely right. Spending any given night or weekend as a guest at Skinwalker Ranch, or around the ranch, does not guarantee observation into the unknown. Activity reports paint the picture of a trickster-like intelligence that controls the theatre it performs in. IT shows you what it wants to show you. IT decides how you will perceive it, or IF you will perceive it. IT is in total control. The Hunt For The Skinwalker team has been lucky enough to have uninterrupted access to the ranch, and a great openness has been established between our team and the locals—including the Tribal Elders. However, boots-on-the-ground research over decades—such in the case with George Knapp—is not about immediate gratification or getting a quick soundbite. You need to invest yourself to hear the real stories, to understand the complexity of what we’re dealing with in the Uintah Basin. Our team is looking at this mystery from a much broader perspective, historic, interpersonal, as well as from a phenomenological point of view. Meaning, we don’t really know what we’re dealing with. We know the intelligence that performs these displays in the area of the ranch has a sort of precognitive-sentient-intelligence (as Dr. John B. Alexander has described). We know it can be violent—especially towards animals; we know that it continues unabated to this day, that it can mess with you. That it travels, like a hitchhiker for some who are unlucky. But it’s one thing to hear stories of bullet-proof wolves, or predator like beings, shape shifting animals crawling out of portals and fear-inducing orbs that target your emotions. It’s a whole other thing to actually engage some of this stuff; to see it with your own eyes and to have to come to terms with that. March 10, 1997: Mutilated calf at Skinwalker Ranch. NIDS investigation noted that sharp metallic instruments were used, femur was detached, left ear and all internal organs were missing. No blood was found on or near the animal. Confirmed by independent forensic pathologist. The animal was killed in the open, in daylight, with two potential eyewitnesses around 300 yards away. The killing was silent. Over 60% of the animal’s body mass was removed within the space of 45 minutes. A professional tracker found no tracks or other evidence within a one-mile radius around the animal. For example, on a recent trip, one member of our team had a particularly shocking experience while in the command trailers previously installed by NIDS. He was private security with our group, and this was his first experience on the ranch. What he saw was an entity following me through the command trailer. It was dark, tall and had the texture of thick billowing black smoke, yet in the form of a bipedal human—it was tangible. It followed me through three different areas, just inches from my body and then immediately vanished before anyone could speak a word. The security individual remained calm but told us it was time to go. Once we arrived on the outside of the gate he pulled the car over and conveyed the information to us. A reliably stoic and level-headed military veteran… he was shaken. I think I dodged a bullet by not seeing this thing myself. What the witness didn’t know is that exact apparition-type shadow-entity had been observed in that same area of the ranch before and on multiple occasions. Pretty wild. But again, I didn’t see it. RG: Who currently owns the ranch? JKLC: Although the new owner of Skinwalker Ranch appears in my film, he would like to maintain his confidentiality—and for good personal reason. I will continue to respect that. I will not break that bond. RG: A considerable amount of data has surely been gathered through the many years of scientific investigations at the ranch. Will any of this data formally be made available to the public at some point? If not, why? JKLC: You are correct on the data. There were two major studies at Skinwalker Ranch, with a third underway. From about 1996 till 2004, NIDS a multi-disciplinary investigation at Skinwalker Ranch. And some of that data has already been made public by NIDS when they maintained a website. You can still find those reports online. Then from 2008 till 2011 we had BAASS, that led another intensive multi-disciplinary scientific investigation. This government study of Skinwalker Ranch was funded through the DOD (Department of Defense) / DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) / DWO (Defense Warning Office) to support AAWSAP (Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program). BAASS was the contractor that received the agreement from AASWAP, and BAASS certainly did generate numerous reports related to research at Skinwalker Ranch. Those government reports may or may not see the light of day. I’m hopeful that they will, as we have seen George Knapp report on aspects of this case and release documents on multiple occasions. Such as when George released a technical report by Dr. Hal Puthoff that was generated within AAWSAP/BAASS. This report is one of approximately 76 formal papers derived from a large database that includes thousands of incident reports, some written by defense officials from other countries. So, I’m optimistic that this is just the beginning of what we are going to learn. In the future, anything that becomes part of the public record will be available for download at HuntTheSkinwalker.com Investigative reporter George Knapp at the Las Vegas KLAS news station, reviewing DIA files about Skinwalker Ranch. I also think it’s important to take this opportunity to clarify public confusion caused by the New York Times article from December 16, 2017. There are some things you should know about the recent UFO related revelations. Specifically, about the $22 million that was allocated and what the AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification) program really was in relation to the funding championed by Sen. Harry Reid. AATIP and AAWSAP are not the same program. AATIP has likely always existed, in one form or another, but probably under a different name. AATIP was more of an assignment than a program. Luis Elizondo did excellent work, but he was one man, and for him it was an extra duty assignment. It wasn’t his full-time job. He worked with a loose network of other DOD employees in other agencies. They analyzed UFO info as it came in, meaning they might go months without getting a report. AAWSAP is the program created by Sen. Reid and colleagues. The money they designated for the study was sent to BAASS—the $22 million dollars mentioned by the New York Times. AAWSAP was much larger than AATIP; it had approximately 50 employees. Another important distinction is that AAWSAP was pro-active, not reactive. It actively investigated UFO matters and related phenomena, where AATIP was re-active and focused on nuts and bolts flying saucers. AAWSAP looked at saucers/UFOs, but also looked at the larger picture-related phenomena, exotic stuff, creatures, mutilations, Skinwalker Ranch. So, the recent UFO releases that have swept the across mass-media like wildfire tell only a small part of the story. The real story is WHY the money was allocated, and WHAT it was allocated for. Skinwalker Ranch is central to that story, and my film will detail much of that. The new security gate at Skinwalker ranch. RG: The ranch has allegedly played host to everything from Bigfoot and giant wolves, to UFOs and Poltergeists. What do you feel is the best theory to account for the numerous and seemingly disparate anomalous phenomena reported at the ranch? Could this locale hold the key to a unified theory of the paranormal? JKLC: One of the theories explored by George Knapp and Dr. Colm Kelleher in their book, Hunt For The Skinwalker, is that the area surrounding Skinwalker Ranch is some sort of “portal” for inter-dimensional activity. A place where the world is thin; a hotspot. This is exemplified by the large creatures and vehicles observed traversing out of what appears to be orange glowing geometric “holes” around the ranch. The observations made by scientists like Dr. Colm Kelleher and Dr. Eric Davis were similar to technical descriptions of the optical nature of wormholes—as detailed in a physical review paper by John Cramer, Matt Visser and Bob Forward. However, both authors of Hunt For The Skinwalker make it clear that nobody really knows what we are dealing with at the ranch. There is no simple definition or explanation for the occurrences there. Any sole theory you try to apply to the ranch and the surrounding area simply falls short. It’s a disturbing mystery. Disturbing because it reveals how little we really know about the physics and nature of the world we live in. Faced with the events at Skinwalker Ranch, consensus reality seems to fall short. ATVs at Skinwalker Ranch on a recent trip by Corbell and his team. Could this locale hold the key to a unified theory of the paranormal? Beats me. It’s entirely possible that the explanation for the broad range of unusual and occasionally hostile activity as experienced at Skinwalker Ranch is beyond the ability of humans to comprehend or to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. However, the pursuit of truth is still a worthwhile endeavor and could eventually help us to understand our place and role in the cosmos. RG: To your knowledge, are there any other sites in the United States or globally that are comparable to the Skinwalker Ranch in terms of the variety of phenomena reported and of the frequency of their reporting? JKLC: Yes. There are currently multiple locations around the globe that present performances similar to those experienced at the ranch. Some are known to the public—such as the San Luis Valley—while others are not. I’m aware that the intelligence agencies involved with the study at Skinwalker Ranch have knowledge and current interest in other locations of a similar nature. RG: What do you hope your Skinwalker film will contribute to public knowledge of the ranch and its associated phenomena, and how does it differ from existing media products on this topic? JKLC: My film will have impact on the study of this subject and the field of phenomenology in general. It’s a huge injection of information to the public on this topic. It’s inescapable and certainly will be impactful… simply by the merit of its rarity. However, it is my larger hope to uplift the visual aesthetic in the medium of filmmaking on this subject. Traditionally, my documentaries are focused on the human story, the individuals involved and the lessons they learned. This also tends to separate my films from the heap. They’re intimate and personal. This upcoming film contains lots of never-before-seen footage—rare and historic footage. So ultimately, I’m confident that my film provides a narrative for people who want to learn more about the unique location of Skinwalker Ranch, but it also provides insight into the lives of the pioneering individuals who have been navigating this mystery for decades. They are the unsung heroes who continue to engage The Phenomenon for greater understanding—from the standpoint of technological innovation, as well as understanding the nature and power of consciousness. Corbell at his studio as he works on his investigation. RG: Tell us about the other projects you have in the pipeline, and what’s next for you after you’ve finished your Extraordinary Beliefs project? JKLC: In December of 2018 I will be launching the official, definitive and authorized documentary film on Area 51 whistle-blower, Bob Lazar. It’s going to free your mind like a hallucinogenic medicine. Get ready. Hunt for the Skinwalker, is available for pre-order on iTunes in August of this year, and it launches globally on September 11. Based on the best-selling book by George Knapp & Dr. Colm Kelleher, Hunt for The Skinwalker investigates the confidential, most extensive scientific study of a paranormal hotspot in human history. Skinwalker Ranch in Utah is famous throughout the world because of the myriad of frightening, seemingly supernatural events that have been reported in the scenic basin surrounding the property for hundreds of years. Sightings include orbs, UFOs, animal mutilations, unknown creatures, poltergeist-type activity, and many other inexplicable incidents. An exhaustive, multidisciplinary scientific study began in 1996, spearheaded by an enigmatic Las Vegas billionaire. A team of PhD-level investigators was deployed to collect evidence and spent more than a decade on the ground, interviewing witnesses, searching for explanations, and directly confronting an unknown intelligence. Recent headlines have revealed that a second, government-funded but confidential study was initiated by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). This second investigation was designed to determine if the phenomena at the ranch might have national security implications or could point to technological breakthroughs. The shroud of mystery hanging above Skinwalker Ranch and the Uintah Basin has fascinated director Jeremy Corbell for years. He finally journeyed to the property to interview eyewitnesses - including the new owner of the ranch - and uncover rare, previously unreleased recordings.
