Everyone here won't believe this one. All my life people tell me I imaginee it all. As I go to firework displays every year. I'm FINE!!! I tell them why can't you understand me? the fireworks our in the sky, not under my feet. I'm not touching the sound with my body.. I knew to get away from that ufo when my body started vibrating. Doctor said it send signals to my brain which crosswire in my head. That is about it.

Thanks, Sky. It is good to put actual sounds to what everyone has been talking about. I remember one night last summer/fall feeling some oscillating vibrations. I had gone to bed and a few minutes later I began to feel vibrations. I couldn't really hear a noise with them, just the vibrations. It wasn't constant, but came in regular intervals (every couple of seconds, I think.)

Yep..I do understand Lois..and that's probably why you feel earthquake vibrations. When you have quake dreams..you are probably reacting to vibrations you feel in the earth Like the dude in the movie Phenomenon. I love that movie! The light from the blue neon signs at work bother me... but not as much as the noise. The noise and the light together seem to bother me more than the light by itself though... but when I close my eyes the noise doesn't bother me at all. ~shrug~ I'm kinda glad I don't remember any sounds.

When you have quake dreams..you are probably reacting to vibrations you feel in the earth Yes Jo, Ive thought of that and so has my children.. Why to I sometimes see the location?. Once...I had walked to the nearby store years ago, and was crossing a busy three lane street carrying a heavy sack. I was stupid. I seen two semi's coming about a half a block away. When I got into the middle the payment it started to vibrate. When this happens I fall down no sense of balance. There I lie in the middle of the street with these two Semi's barreling down on me, I could not move, once I fall all balance it gone to get up. So I willed my brain very hard to crawl. I could not. Then I found out I could roll .. So I rolled over and over about three times and hit the far curb. These trucks did not stop, they went right through my grocery sack. They were moving too fast to even try and stop. I had no food but it did not matter, only that I made it out of arms way. I have never tried that stunt again. It was in 1987. I remember every incident that has happen almost because of the vibration. Live and learn they say ;D

I been on u tube for an hour. I have listen to about 50 fans. no waves as the microphone is nothing but the fan blowing air into it . washed the hum sound right out of hearing. I found this and if there was no music on this wheel. It would be close but not deep enough, I mean deep like the noise in the movie encounters of the third kind. the notes they played were almost exact, but no long waves..in the movie. I do have a headache now.. lol

Here is my circled wall inside the craft and how it turns as a saucer goes up on end. Darn Music ruins it. I know it as sure as I'm sitting here. Always hav said this since the morning after the encounter. A fllywheel of some sort.

Imagine a wall of white light radiating inside the diameter of this hugh ride. So bright you cannot look at it. the faster it goes the louder it will get and the brighter the white. The whitelight came from the walls

Is it lazer. Is it solar? This type will get us into space someday, there will be no more fuel rockets. Seems if science had a craft in there possesion , we would of figure it out by now. Unless it is a enery we have never heard of. I guess I witness the white ufos sighted in the night sky, not the hue colored ones. Wonder why some are different in this sense?

I do have a headache now.. lol I do believe John Williams (the composer for the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind) used a tuba for the sound effect of the mother ship at the end of the movie... but he slowed it down to make it a deeper tone... the opposite of what people do when making the voices of the chipmunks you know. They recorded it on a tape and played it back much much slower... Just thought I'd throw that in there so I can contribute to this thread some... but I don't remember hearing any noises during my experiences... All this talk about these noises though is making me a little nervous. When lois mentioned the "voom voom voom" sound over on the other forum it made me upset for some reason... but there is no conscious recollection which I can attribute this uneasiness I feel to... No stress on the keyboard player. ~smirk~ "Aw geez... I hope my finger doesn't slip..." ~sweat running down forehead~ Oh the sweet relief when the computer takes over... lol... keyboard player collapses onto the floor quivering I'm sure afterward...

Thank you Lorelei.. THAT IS IT EXACT.. why could I not think of a tuba before. but make it a long wave that repeats it self not a quick note like this is . It sure is a perfect image .. THANKS YOU SO MUCH. I feel sort of stupid right not. Never new how to get the depth of it. I have told my husband who watches this movie all the time. That sound in the movie is deep like what I heard, but never freak me out as it does not come in long waves..

anna .. what instrument in this video is being played. The deep tone part that comes and goes. It is similar Lois, that would be all keyboard synthesizers. The deep one you are hearing is a keyboard synth bass. There are actually a couple of basses in this piece. They both sound similar to brass basses. Probably a form of a brass... like the tuba. This is a typical harmonic minor hip-hop instrumental piece. This type of music uses a lot of electronic instruments... keyboards and electronic drum kits mostly. Basically, the tones are made by a computer. The keyboardist plays the notes on the keyboard, and the computer makes the sound of whatever synthetic instrument you want.

OK everyone. I did this just in case you guys want to listen and tell everyone which one sounds more like what you remember hearing... I decided to put my recording equipment to good use rather than using it for the usual bad music I make... lol...
I have a LOT of instrument synthesizers on my computer program, and I can play different tones too if it doesn't sound quite right. I can also tweak the instruments... which could make hundreds of new "instruments"...
I can understand why Lois would make the connection to a tuba. I was in band back in elementary school and played the drums and learned the following information from our band teacher:
All "brass" instruments (tuba is a brass instrument) have a similar mouth piece on them. In order to make the sound come out of the horn, you have to press your lips together and "buzz" them. You have to vibrate your lips basically to make the instrument play notes. That would explain why it reminds you guys of the "throbbing" sounds you describe... the vibration.
Naturally, all musical tones are vibrations, but brass instruments I suppose vibrate more than other instruments because of the method which they use to create sound.
Woodwind instruments on the other hand use reeds, which are little wooden things that have holes in them. You simply blow across the holes to make sound. Saxophones are woodwind instruments... even though they look like they're made out of brass... they don't have the right mouthpiece to be called "brass" instruments.
But yea...
And a drum makes noise when you hit it really hard with a stick. ~smirk~

Very good, Lorelei. That was an excellent idea. I would say the sound that I heard started at the lower end of the scale and increased in pitch. That's when I started to float up into the air. It started very low and increased in pitch and I started going up. The lower notes you played were the closest to what I remember it sounding like at the beginning of my experience...probably the lower C in numbers 4 and 5, then it gradually increased in pitch to the next higher note in number 4. It was a very powerful electrical sound, like pure energy. It was like in that clip that I posted of the electrical transformer when it first came on...it started just like that and then increased in pitch. It was loud too, like in that clip from the Close Encounters movie when the space ship made the deep note that blew the glass out of the windows. I could feel it as well as hear it. If you could play what you played louder and with more intensity and pick people up in the air with it then you could go around abducting people.

my daughter often tells me that back in the day when we lived at the home where the gray missouri abduction took place, that we all heard a strange noise and it made everyone so scared that my ex-wife told all of us to kneel down ,hold hands and pray . It seems strange to me that I dont remember , and when my daughter brings it up, I always ask her"are you sure I was there" ? She always insists I was and she finds it odd that I dont remember . Another thing that comes to mind is when the" visit "or abduction took place, I vaguely recall hearing A high pitched sound while the being was either touching me or sticking a device up my nose . its close to the sound of the instrument a dentist uses when they clean my teeth, followed by a "crunch" sound,as if it just took a small chunk of tissue from inside my head, but its so vague that I havent mentioned it til now because of the uncertainty. I just dont know for sure. its strange to me how some things I can clearly recall, while others they seem to have the ability to erase from a persons memory.

definitly below the C. It does sound like a tuba in a way. Lower the sound on the not below the C. Well I just lowered my speaker.. same effect. I will replay it again with the volume down. the waves are not there. When I hear waves it drives my heard into a frizzy. thanks Lorelei. When I went to bed I told myself . anna could probably make the sound her self, being she knows so much in this field. thanks again. Im remembering this thread.

Because I heard you thinking that. You were really wishing I would do it and I picked up on it. ~hugs~ A keyboard synthesizer is not a perfect replication of a brass instrument. Real brass instruments would vibrate even more. I suppose I could look on the internet and find a tuba playing a long low note and copy paste it into my program and possibly drop the pitch of it with a "vocal" transformer... I can't "drag" it down unless I record it through my USB/MIDI cable... but yea... I might look around the internet tonight and see what I can find... I also have other synthesizers that do vibrate a lot. I'll play around with it tonight and see if I can make another one that vibrates more... @ sky: I did notice that the fourth one seems to vibrate more than the first three, and the fifth one seems deeper even though it is the same pitch... ~shrug~

Creep me out!!! The Oregon sound was like the sound we heard while camping near Del Rio (Piedras Negras) that I attributed to an airbase. Same place I later saw a white owl. It came and went all night as I huddled in my sleeping bag and tried to pretend it wasn't happening. I woke up several times in the early morning - noise fading as I listened for awhile. Gotta wonder - were we visited in the night or just happened to be somewhere that was being visited?? Hi, Paulette. Your story reminds me of that camping trip I was on last winter where I kept hearing that weird whirring sound all night long. It would get louder and then quieter then move from one direction to another. It sounded like some weird electronic cricket or something but the temperature was below freezing that night. I never did figure out what that was.

I also played around with some deep synth basses. It didn't really sound quite the same as the brass instruments... ~shrug~

Im changing the abduction sound here now Sky. Back in Sept 1961, same time the Hills heard their beeps. My friend Louise a member here now, heard beeps before the car we were in was transported to another side of town whithoug us aware of it. This is the closest I can get. anyone here ever experinece this sound with abduction? We did not even see a ufo. but we were not looking up at the stop sign. It was twice this is three times in the video.

I don't recall hearing any beeps during any of my experiences. I've heard knocking sounds like somebody was banging on the hood of my car, and ringing noises like my ears were ringing, but no beeps. I've read that all three of those different types of sounds have been reported by UFO witnesses. The Hills heard the beeps and Whitley Streiber spent a good part of his second UFO book talking about knocking sounds that he supposedly heard. I wonder what all of the different sounds mean?

The hills heard the beeps after they got back on the road, when we were placed back on the road, I did not hear anything, we were too terrified to hear anything. It could of happen, but we were both screaming at the time.

I think screaming is another sound often associated with abductions. Probably a lot of four-lettered words are too.

I know that hypnotists sometimes use sounds as a signal for a person to go under hypnosis. That might be what the beeping noises are for. It could be a signal for the person to go into a trance or start their memory loss.
