I use ASCII code every day for transferring information from my computer in San Diego to my server in San Jose..it has nothing to do with aliens. ASCII code are numbers that stand for 'symbols' and alphabet letters. Computers only understand numbers so we need codes (like ASCII and binary) to translate the information we want into the numbers the computer can process. It's not magical, it's just computer language. This one sounds more to me like a computer code geek playing a very elaborate hoax. There would be a lot better ways to communicate than using ASCII code and giving us back our own symbols for ™or ® or the alphabet. They could have just used the word Enki..which anyone can look up online. IMO Or are they just trying to contact computer savvy folk? The definition of ASCII (as opposed to binary) ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange. Computers can only understand numbers, so an ASCII code is the numerical representation of a character such as 'a' or '@' or an action of some sort. ASCII was developed a long time ago and now the non-printing characters are rarely used for their original purpose. Below is the ASCII character table and this includes descriptions of the first 32 non-printing characters. ASCII was actually designed for use with teletypes and so the descriptions are somewhat obscure. If someone says they want your CV however in ASCII format, all this means is they want 'plain' text with no formatting such as tabs, bold or underscoring - the raw format that any computer can understand. This is usually so they can easily import the file into their own applications without issues. Notepad.exe creates ASCII text, or in MS Word you can save a file as 'text only' asciitable.com/www.cs.umd.edu/class/sum2003/cmsc311/Notes/BitOp/asciiBin.html

A crop circle is usually the result of conspiring gentlemen over a few drinks in a pub, who go out to the nearby farmlands and carve out designs with the help of boards. In today's world, crop circle pranksters are becoming more and more high tech, resulting in more intricate and beautiful designs. The more recent crop circle designs are more complex than ever, with some featuring up to 2,000 different shapes. The more recent crop circle designs are more complex than ever, with some featuring up to 2,000 different shapes. Pranksters now using digital technology to make designs in farmlands LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - As reported in Physics World, Richard Taylor, director of the Materials Science Institute at the University of Oregon says that "Crop-circle artists are not going to give up their secrets easily. "This summer, unknown artists will venture into the countryside close to your homes and carry out their craft, safe in the knowledge that they are continuing the legacy of the most science-oriented art movement in history." While there may be a few out there who insist that these circles are signs from extraterrestrials, Taylor says the technology behind the global crop-circle phenomenon is deserving of admiration. The more recent designs are more complex than ever, with some featuring up to 2,000 different shapes. Mathematical analysis has revealed the use of construction lines that are used to create the patterns. At one time, crop-circlers used ropes, planks of wood and bar stools, high tech has taken over: GPS and lasers have since entered the fray. CONTINUE READING: www.catholic.org/green/story.php?id=42256

cnufos.ning.com/profiles/blogs/cnufos-physicist-ditches-stick here's another theory.... CNUFOS - PHYSICIST DITCHES STICK & STRING THEORY ON CROP CIRCLE FORMATIONS * Posted by Cnufos on August 2, 2011 Magnetron_1.jpg An explanation has been offered as to how these incredible sprawling images can make their way onto landscapes in a matter of minutes - and that explanation is the employment of microwaves in their construction. Rather than depending on the "sticks and string" theory of crop circles, the official story has made its way into the new millennium after years of falling into disrepair. And if the original idea was strange, this one is even more incredible. A professor of physics, Richard Taylor, claimed as covered by a recent article by the Daily Mail that the effect could be achieved by utilizing the magnetron of a standard kitchen microwave and a 12 volt battery. The device, which was constructed at the University of Oregon, allegedly can cook a stalk of grass or wheat and then transform it in the way so commonly seen in crop circle reports. Of course this has not been demonstrated, but that has not stopped a plethora of those who don't want to believe from adding it to their arsenal. Prepare for years of hearing about this mysterious device that can allegedly transform wheat from a distance and running from a modest 12 volt battery. Why can't they at least try to see things from the point of the farmer who has his land over run by lookie loos and then he's reviled because he wants to keep tilling and planting his land...(the occupation of a farmer). In my eyes..they are a part of the 'falling world' because they don't take others into consideration. Have someone take an arial photo and leave the man alone sheesh.

The bizarre creation appeared in the early hours of Wednesday last week. Since then, enthusiasts have travelled from as far away as the Netherlands, Austria, Scandinavia and Germany to see it. Theo Wierdsma, a Dutch primary school manager, who also lectures in crop circles and phenomena research, travelled to England with his 21-year-old son Justin to look at the many crop circles in the West Country. Mr Wierdsma, 55, said: “I have been coming over to England every summer for the past eight years to look at crop circles. “We came here in Calne to look at one in 2006 as well. “I don’t know if this one might be a hoax but I think from looking at the shape of it that it is a real one. I have thought they were a hoax before and was wrong so it is very interesting.” Local small aircraft clubs have been assisting the tourists by taking them above the crop circle in planes and microlights to film and take photos of the phenomenon. The farmer has also allowed them to go inside the circle to do tests and take pictures. I don't think an alien race would make themselves the way our simple minds portray them in toys.. drawing.. etc..All the circles which have to do with them our so much more sophisticated.. Such as the DNA rectangular crop circle. But one never knows .. they may make is simple for us as that is the way they think of us. If any of the others were truly made by ufos then they expect us to be able to understand them. so again why would they put one like this in a field? Wait till the investigation is all one can do.. smoking a pipe? come on ;D they see us destroying our bodies so maybe this is a big IF.. 11 11 is getting close, and I a have been expecting something fantastic, but this is not it.

I don't think 'they' would put this in a field. As the other article mentioned..hoaxers have perfected the making of crop circles using better technology. That just seems a slap in the face to me.

Billy Cox writes about a DVD documentary called “What on Earth? Inside the Crop Circle Mystery” by Suzanne Taylor that was released this week. Interesting to note, the filmmaker herself comments on the article at the bottom. The Sarasota Herald Tribune
Devoid
Messengers cloud the message
by Billy Cox August 11th, 2011 10:55am Last week, without producing a single culprit, Physics World journal explained away crop circles as elaborate hoaxes using magnetrons, GPS and laser technology. Within days, De Void received a DVD documentary called “What on Earth? Inside the Crop Circle Mystery” by California filmmaker Suzanne Taylor, and it was officially released on Tuesday. De Void tends to avoid the crop circle thing because it’s as unrewarding as UFOs and may well be part of the same thing. Excuse me, miss? My head hasn’t exploded in several months — can I order some chocolate cherry bombs off the menu, please? But Taylor has been at it for nearly 20 years now, and when something drops in your lap, doesn’t cost money, and doesn’t require any reading or effort to ingest, hey, as an American, I’m all in. Taylor doesn’t present any definitive answers, either, but her slant skews toward non-human intelligence. Which is fine, unless you’re one of these people who thinks tangential associations can be problematic. Among the eclectic mix of folks receiving “Special Thanks” at the end credits, for instance, is conspiracy-addled “exopolitician” Alfred Webre. No reason to linger here, you can Google the guy and drawn your own conclusions. There’s also a New Agey feel to the drama, and there’s nothing necessarily wrong with that. The things we’ll learn about quantum mechanics and the mind’s creative abilities over the next century will make today’s geniuses look Cro-Magnon. Still, for a cheerleading project that aspires to broaden the debate, the “What on Earth?” range of characters can be a distraction. There are architects and dowsers and philosophers and geometers and computer geeks and musicians and mystics, some with names like Stanley Messenger and Baroness Edmee di Pauli. It’s a little like watching one of those Larry King UFO panels that cram too many people into a space so small you’re left with a residue of stereotypes and cliches (“Are we being prepared for contact?” “Once you lose your link with nature, you lose your link with God.”) That said, “What on Earth?” is still worth a look, if for no other reason than the attention it swings onto the swirl of baffling symbolic mathematics pressed upon the fields. Filmed primarily in southern England, the 81-minute glimpse at a mystery that has transformed not only rural countrysides but their adjacent communities is a legitimate appeal for someone — or something — to step forward. Taylor contrasts the crude crop circles by confessed hoaxers Doug Bower and Dave Chorley, as well as those of London pranksters calling themselves Team Satan, with the infinitely more sophisticated tapestries for which no credit has been claimed. The established hoaxes and the unresolved pictograms are worlds apart. And the geometry, the pi ratios, the vesicas, the squared circles, octagons, cubes, this fusion of art with math, so precise and exacting — to what end do they serve? What’s the motive? More than 20 years of evolving sophistication under cover of night and no one’s broken ranks? Who’s running this show? The Mafia? Grover Norquist? But can we ever truly separate the messenger from the message? Among the many analysts Taylor relies upon is Nick Kollerstrom, whose line-diagram reconstructions at Crop Circle Geometry “aim to help ordinary students to learn mathematics, in a unique approach that is artistic as well as intellectual.” Superficially, anyway, it seems dispassionate and reasonable. But what Taylor doesn’t tell us is that the British science writer and historian lost his fellowship at University College London in 2008 for his contention that the Auschwitz gas chambers were only used for disinfectant and hygiene. Kollerson has also argued the 2007 London subway bombings were an inside job, not the product of Muslim fanatics. Maybe this is all irrelevant to Taylor’s documentary. But Kollerson’s many critics today refer to his work as “crap circles.” Do his politics invalidate his geometry? Certainly they’ve allowed the uninformed to discredit the whole phenomenon with broad strokes. In the end, “What on Earth?” puts us back where we started. There’s more work to be done here, but it must be rigorous. And fearless. As one witness tells Taylor, “What drives us mad” about the crop circle creators is “the fact that they don’t want anything, they’re not selling anything.” In this ego-driven day and age, that fact alone is a breath of fresh air. Not even the notoriously reclusive Unabomber, whose very freedom was contingent upon anonymity, could resist the temptation to show the world how smart he was. Share and Enjoy: August 11th, 2011 6:44 pm
I’m your filmmaker and wish you hadn’t noticed those associations. Alfred Webre is way off most of my charts, but he was a friend before either of us were into any of our current pursuits and he helped me with some connections in making the film. What a shame that Nick Kollerstrom has ranged afield of the circles, because he is brilliant at the geometry — if school kids learned from his online course hypermaths.org/cropcircles, they would have a passion for geometry, and he makes an intelligent critique in my movie of our contracted worldview.
Glad you liked with you did. Your readers might enjoy a 4 part webinar I’m hosting about the circles for Evolver Intensives, starting August 20th. It’s a very imaginative course, where will go way beyond the nuts and bolts of the phenomenon into how the circles relate to the universe and what their implications could be: evolverintensives.com/upcoming/personal-planetary-transformation.html
Re Physics World, their explanation was so preposterous that I thought it might create a backlash, where, seeing how ridiculous the debunkers are, people would take a fresh look at the evidence and see that the whole phenomenon can’t be explained away. by Suzanne Taylorwww.heraldtribune.com/12132/messengers-cloud-the-message/

To me it is as inevitable as hacking..that brilliant (although bent) minds will find it a challenge to push the crop circle hoax to the limits..to be topped by the next to be topped by the next. They have begun a contest now. I think a majority of crop circles were real but increasing numbers of them will be as fraudulent as some UFO videos Maybe whatever created the real ones will find it necessary to afix some 'seal' of reality on theirs in the future...to avoid knock offs Might be interesting anyway.

www.newburytoday.co.uk/News/Article.aspx?articleID=17687 High strangeness above the fields Now unexplained lights appear above West Woodhay crop circleWed, August 31 2011 By John Garvey, Reporter Email: newburytoday@newburynews.co.uk Phone: 01635 564528 AFTER the crop circle has come the almost obligatory UFO sighting. This spectacular formation appeared overnight on July 28 in a field at West Woodhay. It immediately attracted hundreds of sightseers and simultaneously earned the ire of landowner Harry Henderson, who dismissed it as the work of trespassers. But even those artists who lay claim to some of the designs that appear in the fields each year have seen strange lights associated with the formations. Now Newbury businesswoman Bonni Southey has reported unexplained light phenomena after she decided to visit the area. She said: “We were having a look to see if the crop circle was still there. Looking across to the horizon above and to the right of the crop circle formation we saw first one bright, static light, which then disappeared and re-appeared again about two miles away in a matter of seconds. “It hovered there for a couple of minutes and a second light slowly appeared next to it, and then a third. We watched these for quite a while - about 15 minutes - and then decided to try and get closer to them, driving over towards Ashmansworth. We then lost them geographically, or they disappeared completely.” Ms Southey, who runs Holistic Family Health in Newbury, added: “We couldn't determine their shape but they looked elongated and had a twinkling appearance - definitely not stars, planes or helicopters. There was no noise, but they kept fading and then re-appearing, sometimes in the same place and at other times a distance from where they had faded.” CONTINUE READING: www.newburytoday.co.uk/News/Article.aspx?articleID=17687

Most circles have circles following a path, I sure would like to know why, if alien made..why the big ball goes its path and gets very small at the end. Look back at them and you will see what I mean. Makes me think of a different fazes or stages of. First of all we need to know what the ball represents. I say ball as a circle is not what they are. The entire diameter is filled in. If done by some being from elsewhere they would make a circle easy to comprehend.. after all we are only humans from earth. I know they are very well designed in some cases.. beautiful pictographs. but I would not call the above a pictograph at all.
They only have communication with abductees when they want to give a dire warning. How would the above be of this nature? I try and find that in all the circles I have seen which is many down through the years. There have been many depicting what we would guess to be our solar system.
Once a symbol meant chaos in a field many years ago. I can never find it any more.. If I thought these were all man made I would of spend a lot less time trying to understand. I have followed them since the early 80s. And taped all the investigations.. Why would all the wheat seeds be missing in a whole field? Now it gets crazy.. To plant and grow some where else? A message and a purpose for them at the same time.. lol ..
Soil actually melting away taken from a field.. How did a board and a rope cause this to happen?
They speak of the magnetic field in a crop circle, which I was never interested in. We all know what those ship effects can do.. They can take a person without any one else seeing it. They will never make a circle where there is a witness, unless they want it to be.. . my mind at this minute is still on the traveling ball.. lol

t.co/W7FsMzSM Crop Circles: Quest for Truth
Non-human Intelligence is Communicating with us ... But What is the Message? Uploaded by UFOTVstudios on Mar 17, 2011 A FILM BY ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATED DIRECTOR WILLIAM GAZECKI - Theatrical Feature Film - 115 mins. Academy Award (R) nominated documentary filmmaker William Gazecki (Waco: "Rules of Engagement") offers a compelling and provocative look at the mysterious phenomenon of Crop Circles. Full of never-before-seen footage and interviews with leading Crop Circle researchers and scientists, Crop "Circles: Quest For Truth is a fascinating, in-depth exploration of prevailing theories about the origin and nature of Crop Circles and the possible implications for us and Planet Earth. An astonishing experience guaranteed to shift perspectives and alter perceptions of what is real. Since appearing in the media in the 1970s, crop circles have become the subject of speculation by various paranormal, ufological, and anomalistic investigators ranging from proposals that they were created by bizarre meteorological phenomena to messages from extraterrestrial beings. Twenty-six countries reported approximately ten thousand crop circles in the last third of the 20th century. Ninety percent of those were located in southern England. Many of the formations appearing in that area are positioned near ancient monuments, such as Stonehenge. Much like within the field of UFOs, there are many hoaxes in the field of crop circles. Reports indicate that approximately 5-10% of UFOs are truly unidentified and are unexplained. This phenomenon is quite similar within the crop circles phenomenon. While many crop circles are hoaxes it would appear that some are not hoaxes. If 5-10% of crop circles are not hoaxes, then where do they come from? CONTINUE READING: t.co/W7FsMzSM
