"But where is the body?
Yes, I think there is the possibility that he was in contact with “another world”, even what some people call a “Spirit world”, and was taken. Even if he did commit suicide, and bones were found, I think he was talked “into it” by some sort of “being”.
I like this. I think its possible that he also blew up just his truck. And walked or was transported away.

mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/10/people-who-vanished-into-thin-air-at-the-michigan-triangle/ People Who Vanished Into Thin Air at the Michigan Triangleby Brent Swancer / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/brentswancer/ October 17, 2019 There are certain bizarre realms upon this earth that draw to them mysteries, and these have become quite a focus for the world of the paranormal. One such place lies within the United States, and is ground zero for all manner of strange phenomena including UFOs, missing planes and ships, and indeed vanished people. The mysterious locale known as the Michigan Triangle is an area said to stretch from Ludington to Benton Harbor, Michigan and to Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and since at least 1891 it has been the site of all manner of strange disappearances of boats and planes, and has also become an area known for its UFO activity and other various strange phenomena. The place has become almost legendary among paranormal investigators, with the ships and aircraft that have vanished here drawing comparisons to the more famous Bermuda Triangle, but it is not only these vessels that have seemingly disappeared into thin air here, and the Michigan Triangle has its share of people who seemed to have just stepped off the earth as well. The tale of one of the strangest disappearances on record in the area revolves around a young man named Steven Kubacki, who in February of 1978 was a student of German at the time, and decided to take a ski trip to the Lake Michigan area, USA, in February of that year. He set off in good spirits, and there was nothing to indicate that anything was amiss, but Kubacki would not come home as scheduled, A search would be launched shortly after, but all that could be found were the missing man’s skis and poles on the shore of the frozen lake, as well as a set of footprints thought to be his, which oddly seemed to abruptly stop at the edge of the lake. Of Kubacki himself there was no sign, and the whole scene gave the impression that he had just walked out to that spot and evaporated into thin air. Oddly, the following day the man’s missing backpack would show up right in the center of an area that had already been extensively searched, deepening the mystery of it all. There were no further clues, no hints as to what had become of Kubacki, and he was largely thought to have died out in the wilderness, perhaps having fallen through the ice of the lake to drown, but things would take a sharp right turn into the truly bizarre when on May 5, 1979, exactly 15 months after Kubacki’s vanishing, he suddenly appeared at his parents’ doorstep, seemingly dazed and confused but otherwise in good health. Of course he was questioned extensively on what had happened to him, but bizarrely he could not remember much of where he had been, and indeed he showed very little awareness that that much time had even passed. What he could remember would push the cases further out into the fringes of the weird. Kubacki claimed that he had lost consciousness at some point during his hike at Lake Michigan, and when he had woken he was lying in a field at a place called Pittsfield, a full 700 miles from where he had started. What made it all stranger was that he had been dressed in unfamiliar clothes that weren’t his, and next to him had been a bag that also wasn’t his, filled with maps he did not recognize. After this Kubacki would refuse to comment on his experiences, and it has never been adequately explained. While this is an earlier account of a vanishing in the so-called “Michigan Triangle” it is not the only one by a long shot, and such cases have been reported all the way up into recent years. One of these is the mysterious disappearance of 30-year-old Christopher Hallaxs, who was well-known as a seasoned and experienced outdoorsman very familiar with the terrain of the area. On March 17, 2004, Hallaxs told everyone he was heading up to his remote cabin near the Tahquamenon Falls State Park, but he never arrived there. His concerned family soon reported him missing and a search was carried out by the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department. They were able to follow his snowshoe tracks for some time before they just suddenly stopped on the edge of a tangle of wooded swampland. It was considered very odd, because the missing man was such an experienced outdoorsman, to the point that he had even set up stashes of supplies and food throughout the area in the event that he ever got lost, but none of these had been touched except for one, which seemed to have been rifled through with nothing actually taken, its significance in the vanishing unknown. There was also found a spent shell casing from the man’s gun, but this was also a mystery and unable to be connected to anything. Hallaxs has not been seen since. In the summer of 2008 there was a rather odd vanishing from the exact same area of Hallaxs’ vanishing, when 73-year-old Joe Clewley and his dog, Chip, seem to have walked off the face of the earth. Clewey had come from Florida with his wife, Loraine, to spend the summer at their cabin the Higgins Lake area of Michigan, along the Tahquamenon River. On July 13, 2008, he drove up to he Tahqua Trail in the Tahquamenon Falls State Park to go hiking along with his beloved Chip. Along the way he called his wife and told her he would be back by 9 PM that evening, but he would never arrive. When he was reported missing and police came in to investigate it was found that his van was unlocked and the keys were left inside, something he would have been unlikely to do, and which suggested he had made it back to the vehicle. What had happened after that was anyone’s guess. A massive search operation was launched, scouring 10,000 acres for miles around, but no clue of where the man or his dog had gone could be found. Then, on August 1, the dog Chip would inexplicably appear at the cabin, undernourished, but alive and none too worse for wear. Unfortunately, the dog could obviously not elaborate on what had happened and Clewey himself remained missing, and he has seemingly vanished into thin air. Coming right after the Clewey vanishing, on August 4, 2008, 35-year-old Derrick Henegan headed off to meet his pregnant girlfriend at a wooded area near Newberry, planning to meet up at a deer hunting blind in the trees. He is known to have started his walk to the meeting spot, but he would never show up, his increasingly worried girlfriend waiting for quite some time before notifying authorities. It would end up being assumed that Henegan had met up with some sort of foul play, as he had been thought to have been involved with unsavory characters, but no trace of him has ever been found. Another vanishing in the area is even more recent. In the summer of 2013, 2-year-old Amber Rose Smith vanished from right in front of her home in Newaygo County, Michigan. According to the father, he had been watching her play with the family’s two dogs when he stepped inside for a moment to relieve himself. When he had gone back outside she was no where to be seen and would not respond to her name being called. The dogs appeared not long after without Amber. An intensive search involving hundreds of volunteers and emergency workers was launched to no avail, and the next day she was found around 2 miles from her home, standing in the middle of a road that had already been searched and staring into space. She was unable to express what had happened her, but seemed to definitely be in a state of shock and disorientation. It was odd since this was a 2-year-old girl and she had somehow managed to navigate her way through thick wilderness in frigid temperatures that had gripped the area that night. One sheriff named bob Boyd said of the weird incident: It’s hard to imagine how a 2 1/2-year-old can survive that distance through the woods with that kind of temperature. There’s some that aren’t convinced she walked that entire distance. Maybe she was dropped off. Those are things we might have to determine in the future. These are still things we do not have an answer or explanation for, and Amber is either unable or unwilling to elaborate further. The explanations for the vanishings we have looked at here are varied. For some this is evidence of insidious paranormal forces plucking people away to unknown fates for reasons we will never fathom and were perhaps never meant to. For others this is all indicative of people simply getting lost in the woods. Yet, how do we explain cases like that of Kubacki, where a whole year of his life has gone missing, or come to terms with the odd clues that often orbit these disappearances? There is no way to know, and such cases merely add to the strange mystery that is the Michigan Triangle. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/10/people-who-vanished-into-thin-air-at-the-michigan-triangle/

Strange Entities, Unsolved Disappearances, and the Almost Vanishedby Brent Swancer / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/brentswancer/October 30, 2019 Mysterious vanishings and what I like to call “almost vanishings,” wherein a person has disappeared only to reappear again with a strange story suggesting they could have very well have been gone forever, are surely enigmatic enough as it is. Yet, in some cases there are details that suggest there are odd and very dark forces possibly at work behind the scenes. Such are those of these cases that involve some sort of entities, the nature of which we cannot understand, which according to these reports might have stepped out of the fringe to claim these people. One very strange recent case of mysterious entities and a what seems to be a near vanishing comes from the Monsters Among Us podcast, Season 8, Episode 5, and which revolves around the case of a witness known only as Mark, who worked on his parents’ dairy farm in the state of California. In August of 2019, Mark was working late, when at around 3:15 AM the silence was broken by what sounded like muffled voices wafting through the air from behind a nearby hay barn. The startled man could not figure out why anyone would be out there at that hour, and a patrol of the farm turned up no intruders or trespassers, indeed no sign of where the anomalous sounds had come from. He tried to forget about it and chalk it up to tiredness, but the voices would start up again on several occasions, with the source never identifiable. He decided to sit in a feed loader within the barn and wait until the voices started again, after which his plan was to flick on the lights and catch whoever it was, but he must have fallen asleep, because the next thing he knew he was waking up in an unfamiliar room with a door in front of him. He sat up and peered at this door, which had not been there before, and as he did it apparently flew open to disgorge a knife wielding man, who ran at him without a sound or expression on his face. Somehow Mark was able to side step the attack and send the would be attacker sprawling to the floor, after which the stranger would lie still as if dead, and the night would become even more surreal yet. As Mark prodded the fallen assailant with his foot, two other doors apparently appeared out of thin air, and from each of these stepped another strange entity. One was an extremely tall, lanky man with the head of a crow, and the other was a man in a business suit who had a contorted face that was “smiling and twisted.” This man with the contorted face allegedly grabbed Mark by the wrists, and as it did its shirt fell open to reveal a buzzing circular saw-blade embedded within its chest that it seemed to be pulling him towards. The panicked Mark knocked the entity to the ground, where it lie still and apparently dead just as the knife wielding man had done. That crow-faced entity then stepped forward to loom over Mark and stare at him before backing away back to the door it had come through, stepping through it and then vanishing, whereupon the horrified and baffled witness jolted awake in that feed loader, with no sign of any of the entities and the doors gone. He would have blamed it all on a very bad and trippy dream, but looking at his wrists he could see red hand marks left behind from where he had been grabbed, which burned as if hot, and a peek at his watch showed that just 5 minutes had passed since he had sat within that loader. What happened to this witness? Did Mark encounter extra-dimensional entities who sought to abduct him for inscrutable purposes, or was this simply all a hallucination? Who knows, but it is a very outlandish a and surreal report, and we are left to wonder what these entities were, if anything. An attempted abduction by possible aliens or inter-dimensional interlopers fits in well with our next case, which was related by David Paulides, this time in a Coast 2 Coast AM interview with George Knapp. In this weird account, a 3-year-old boy known only as John Doe went missing on Oct 1 2010 at around 6:30 PM along a popular fly fishing river near Mt. Shasta, in California. Shortly after his reported disappearance, authorities conducted a search of the area and found the boy 5 hours later sitting in a stand of trees and seemingly dazed and confused. He would later come forth with quite the odd story to tell. According to the boy, he had been taken into a cave deep within the mountain by a woman who he had thought was his grandmother. Once they had reached their destination, the boy claimed that he had found himself in a cold, dark room full of human-looking robots that sat or stood around in various positions, apparently motionless, as well as some form of guns or weapons scattered about accruing dust, not to mention giant spiders skittering about in the gloom. It was then that the boy allegedly realized that there was a strange light emanating from his grandmother’s head and that she too was some sort of robot. The “grandmother” apparently ordered him to defecate upon a sheet of paper and got agitated when he refused. The grandmother also told him that he was from outer space and had been planted in his mother’s womb. The boy was then taken back outside and told to wait in a thicket until he was found. When the whole incredibly bizarre tale came to light, the grandmother confessed that a year before the incident she had been camping in the area and had been inexplicably pulled from her tent and deposited a short distance away. When she had woken up, she claimed to have felt a pain in the base of her neck, and had discovered two puncture marks surrounded by red skin. The grandmother had no idea if this had anything to do with the boy’s far-out tale, but it does seem rather odd. Paulides has claimed that this is one of the more bizarre disappearances he has come across, and the whole tale seems rather absurd if not for the fact that everyone involved has continued to maintain that it is true. www.ufoinsight.com/little-known-political-figures-literally-vanished-thin-air/ Little Known Political Figures Who Have Literally Vanished Into Thin Air! March 10th, 2019 Written by: Marcus Lowth Given that arguably the biggest circus-style election in the history of western civilisation is about to play out in November 2016, combined with the political posturing and jockeying for positioning throughout Europe recently, not to mention some of political vacuums that exist in unstable areas throughout the world, it is easy to see why people say that politics is a murky business at best. Sometimes though, the waters are murkier than some would expect. What’s more those murky waters sometimes become deadly. While people, unfortunate as it is, go missing all time, when it is a politician or someone of influence who vanishes into thin air, people often scrutinise the circumstances a little closer. After all, these people are in, or are hoping to be in, positions of power. From these platforms their decisions will often affect millions of people. Or perhaps they are promising change – change that not everyone believes is right. That not everyone wants, and rightly or wrongly, will resist at all costs. Harold Holt… where did he go? High Profile Disappearances Maybe the most high profile disappearance of a political figure is that of Australian Prime Minister, Harold Holt. Almost two years into serving as political leader of his country, Holt simply vanished on 17th December 1967. There has been debate and conspiracies as to exactly what happened to him. Was he murdered? Did he commit suicide? Maybe it was just a tragic accident? Some even go as far as to say Holt faked his own death so he could finish out his life in anonymity. All that we know for sure is that Holt – a strong and avid swimmer – entered the sea to swim that fateful morning. Friends had warned him that the water looked particularly “choppy” but he assured them he would be fine. He was never seen nor heard from again. Check out the video below that looks at Holt’s disappearance in a little more detail. Five years later, in the United States another prominent politician disappeared amid a swirl of conspiracy theories. While flying in a small plane over Alaska in 1972, Democratic congressman, Hale Boggs, seemingly vanished off the face of the Earth. What made Boggs disappearance a little suspicious to some, was the extent of his involvement in the Warren Commission – the investigation into the assassination of President John Kennedy in November 1963. At the time of his now presumed death, Boggs went out of his way to assert influence and pressure to have the official investigation into President Kennedy’s death re-opened. Incidentally, the plane, Boggs, or any of those on board the flight have never been found or located. Today one of my clients was watching a show that was “presenting” all the ideas of underground bases (ala’ mufon). And then the show switched modes into the “Great Lakes Triangle”. I was working, so I don’t know if it was the history channel; or what.

I continue to amaze myself with the level of “emotion” that I ALWAYS want to express on this subject...... I came very close to demanding that he “change the channel” 😕. I can’t see this being any different on my part in the near future. EXCEPT, after getting my bearings, I can see myself asking POLITELY FOR THE CHANNEL TO BE CHANGED.
Come on! If there really is all these D.U.M.B.s (whatever the current terminology is), no wonder people seem to be “disappearing” . Gee, look up on the ‘net right now about some kid going to trial for killing a homeless man for sport, and imagine if there is no “body”. 🙁
😡😓

mysteriousuniverse.org/2020/03/mysterious-vanishings-and-deaths-of-hunters-and-fishermen/ Mysterious Vanishings and Deaths of Hunters and Fishermenby Brent Swancer / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/brentswancer/ March 25, 2020 Among the many cases of vanishings that have been reported from the wild places of our world are those that are particularly bizarre in their circumstances and clues left behind. Among the oddest of these are the strange vanishings and deaths of people who were very much in their elements at the time, with no reason at first to suspect that there should have been any problem at all. It has been made very clear through the work of such researchers on the missing such as David Paulides that wilderness areas and National Parks seem to sometimes swallow people up, but these are not always the misguided who have gotten themselves in over their heads. As we will see, sometimes some of the most mysterious disappearances and deaths revolve around very experienced and seasoned outdoorsmen. One such weird disappearance covered by missing persons researcher David Paulides in his Missing 411 series of books is 49-year-old Bart Schleyer, who in 2004 had come to the remote Yukon back country of Canada for a hunting trip. Schleyer was well-known among family and friends as being an avid and experienced outdoorsman, and he was also and accomplished wildlife biologist, having worked on the Grizzly Bear Recovery Project in Yellowstone National Park in the 1980s, and he had been involved with tiger conservation in Siberia as well. In other words, he knew the outdoors, had been to some of the most inhospitable environments imaginable, and he knew animals as well. Curiously, for all of his passion for animal conservation he was also a very avid hunter, and had been on hunting excursions all over the world. In September of 2004, his destination was the Reid Lakes of the Yukon Territory, Canada, where had had planned to be dropped off on a chartered float plane and then spend 2 weeks out hunting moose alone amongst the vast wilderness far from civilization. He had done this sort of thing before, and was very experienced, as well as equipped with crates of plentiful food and supplies, and no one really considered it to be something to worry about. That would soon change. The float plane would return two weeks later for the scheduled pick up, but there was no sign of Schleyer. The float plane operators would then contact the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP), who immediately launched a search for the hunter. They quickly found his abandoned camp, where there were signs that he had cooked some meals, yet most of the food he had brought with him was still in the crates he had been dropped off with. Schleyer had also been dropped off with an inflatable boat, and this was found about a half a mile down river. Oddly, the search was then basically called off, with the RCMP coming to the conclusion that the hunter had hiked off to the highway, but others were not so sure, and so a friend of Schleyer’s by the name of Dib Williams flew out to the scene with another friend named Wayne Curry to carry out their own investigation. Upon arriving at the camp, they found that much of the equipment that Schleyer had brought with him was still there, including important things like bear spray, a backpack, and his VHF radio, as well as ample food stores that were untouched. It was seen as strange that he would leave that sort of thing behind even for a short excursion away from camp. They made their way to where the boat had been found, and nearby they located a makeshift seat atop a bag of gear, as well as a bow leaning against a tree, which they took to be a sort of improvises hunting stand. However, alarmingly they also found a face mask with blood and strands of hair on it, and this was enough to raise a red flag and have them radio authorities once again. As soon as the worsening weather cleared up the RCMP was back on the scene, and the area was more meticulously searched this time. They soon discovered scattered through the area pieces of clothing and fragments of bone, as well as wolf and bear tracks, and the bone fragments would be confirmed as having belonged to the missing hunter. Considering the animal tracks and bear scat in the area, the first theory was that he had simply been attacked by a bear, but there was evidence against this. For one, there was no sign of any sort of struggle, and even his seat he had set up was undisturbed. There was no blood splattered about, only a very few bone fragments, which showed no signs of having been bitten or gnawed on, and almost no clothes and these were largely bloodless, and furthermore his other supplies were all untouched. He might have been caught completely off guard and quickly killed and dragged off, but this was considered unlikely considering his experience and the fact that even the soft moss that covered everything was completely undisturbed. The skull would later be found and had no bite marks or puncture wounds from an attack. Due to all of these clues it was thought that Schleyer had not been directly attacked, but had rather died and then had scavengers come in to get the remains. But how? Did he suffer some sudden health issue like a heart attack or stroke? Friends and family have expressed doubt at this idea considering he was in peak health. What then? Was he murdered? There is no evidence of foul play either. There have been no solid answers and the disappearance and mysterious death of Bart Schleyer remains unsolved. Paul Whipkeyby Brent Swancer / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/brentswancer/September 20, 2021 By all accounts, 26-year-old US Army Lieutenant Paul Whipkey was a perfect soldier and a model citizen. A R.O.T.C. honors graduate who had gone through Army aviation school to earn his Army pilot’s wings before ending up at Fort Ord, California, he would later be transferred to Camp Desert Rock in Nevada in 1957, where he flew several missions to pilot an observation plane during the tests of the atomic bomb, before returning to Fort Ord where he would remain. Everyone who knew him, including friends, family, and fellow soldiers, described him as an “All-American young man,” a hard worker, and a superior officer, and he was hardly the type that one would expect would become the center of a dark unsolved mystery. Yet, dark days were ahead for Whipkey, and he would become the focus of a bizarre vanishing surrounded by sinister conspiracies, mysterious strangers, weird clues, and other oddities that have never been solved. In 1957, shortly after his assignment as an observational pilot, Whipkey began to experience a deterioration of his mind and body. It was reported that he had developed splotches on his skin, warts and moles all over his body, and dropped a shocking amount of weight in a short amount of time. In addition to this, his teeth began to fall out, and his personality went through a massive shift. The normally rational and level-headed Whipkey became morose and confrontational, often described as looking scared and nervous, and in the meanwhile he was often seen in the company of two mysterious men in suits, although who they were and what they talked about were unknown. According to friends, Whipkey refused to talk about who the men were, but he always looked very upset and depressed after they departed. On the afternoon of July 10th, 1958, Whipkey got into his car for what he said was a short trip to Monterey to “have a drink,” which was only around a mile away, and he declared that he would be back within the day. However, he never would return, and indeed no one has seen him since. However, he never would return, and indeed no one has seen him since. mysteriousuniverse.org/2021/12/the-mysterious-disappearance-and-death-of-the-man-who-fell-from-the-skyThe Mysterious Disappearance and Death of the Man Who Fell From the Skyby Brent Swancer : mysteriousuniverse.org/author/brentswancer/December 3, 2021 In the history of bizarre vanishings and deaths, some of the ones that have stood out most are those that have happened to well-known, famous, and respected figures. These are the ones that truly capture the public imagination and catapult into history, drawing much more attention than some random nobody. History is littered with such cases, and some of these are weirder than others. One such case is that of a prominent business tycoon, once regarded as one of the richest men in the world, who would one day vanish from a moving airplane and leave a wake of inscrutable mysteries behind. Back in the 1920s, few people embodied wealth and success quite as much as the Belgian investor and financier Alfred Léonard Loewenstein. Born in 1877 in Brussels, Belgium, to the successful German-Jewish banker Bernard Loewenstein, he would go on to start his own banking concern, wisely investing in the growing electric power and artificial silk industries, which would make him a rich man by 1914. By the end of World War I, Loewenstein was one of Europe’s most powerful financiers, and he also branched out into providing electric power facilities for developing countries through his Belgian-based company, Société Internationale d’Énergie Hydro-Électrique. In 1926, he established “International Holdings and Investments Limited”, which drew in hot shot, powerful investors from all over the world and made him even more money. In the financial world he was a force to be reckoned with, at one point the third richest man in the world, but all of his wealth could not stop the one thing that he is most remembered for today, and that is his very mysterious disappearance and death. At about 6 p.m. on the evening of 4 July 1928, Loewenstein boarded his private plane at Croydon Airport, in Surrey, England, in order to fly across the English Channel back to Belgium. Loewenstein made this trip often for business, so that and with the calm, clear weather that evening, it was not expected to be anything more than a routine flight. For this flight, he was being joined on the Fokker Tri-Motor aircraft by pilot Donald Drew, aircraft mechanic Robert Little, his personal stenographers Eileen Clarke and Paula Bidalon, his valet Fred Baxter, and a male secretary by the name of Arthur Hodgson. When the plane took off into the clear skies everything went smoothly, the passengers were in good spirits, and it looked as if it would be just like the countless flights they had taken before back and forth between England and Belgium, but this time things were about to take a strange turn that would spiral into an unsolved mystery that would shock the world. At around 6:30 p.m., as the plane was making its way across the English Channel at an altitude of 4,000 feet, Loewenstein got up to go use the lavatory in the back of the plane. The flight had been as smooth as it could be, Loewenstein was acting completely normally, and as he casually got up to go do his business, so no one thought anything of it. However, he didn’t return, and when nearly 15 minutes had gone by, people aboard the plane started to take notice of how odd it was that he should be gone so long. The secretary, Baxter, decided to go check on him, and when his knocking on the lavatory door went unanswered he opened it to find no one there. Loewenstein was not in the lavatory, not in the passageway, nowhere on the plane, so where had he gone? At the time it seemed as if Loewenstein had just evaporated into thin air. The plane would reportedly land on a stretch of beach once for an inspection, and then continue on to its destination. News of the mysterious vanishing immediately took the media by storm. With such a powerful and wealthy figure, soon everyone was talking about it, and panic-selling caused shares in Loewenstein’s companies to plummet in value by as much as 50%. As this was going on, the authorities were launching a full investigation into the disappearance, questioning the pilot of the plane and all who had been aboard, but this did little to make any sense of the strange case, nor shed light on how one of the world’s richest men could have completely vanished into thin air 4,000 feet above the English Channel. No one on board was under suspicion or charged with any sort of crime, but authorities were baffled by it all. The main working theory at the time was that Loewenstein had somehow fallen, either accidentally or intentionally, through an exit door nearby the door to the lavatory and then plummeted to his death. There was indeed another door that was used to enter and exit the plane, but it was not only clearly marked as an exit, but also kept shut in flight by a spring-loaded latch and the slipstream outside pushing it closed. It was specifically designed so that it couldn’t be accidentally opened in flight, and would have taken several strong men to pry it open in the air. The Accidents Branch of the British Air Ministry investigated this possibility and deemed that it would have been impossible for Loewenstein to have been able to open that door in flight by himself. It was thought that even if he had gotten a good running start and slammed himself into it, the door would have only popped opened a few inches and then promptly slammed shut. What had happened here? In the absence of a body it was hard to say, but that was about to change. On July 19, 1928, Loewenstein’s body was found bobbing about in the sea by a fishing crew off the coast of Boulogne-sur-Mer, in northern France. An autopsy would show that he had sustained a partial fracture of the skull and several broken bones, and it was determined that he had been alive when he had hit the water. It was also found that he had no signs of drugs, or poison in his system, and only a small amount of alcohol that was a little strange because he supposedly never drank. The injuries were believed to have been incurred when the body had hit the water, and there was no sign of foul play. Despite the finding of the body, in the end the only thing investigators had learned was that he had fallen into the water and died. There was no new knowledge on how he had fallen out of that plane and into the water in the first place, and theories swirled. Suicide was contemplated, but this would not explain how he had managed to get out of that plane. That left foul play. A great deal of attention was placed on some of the shadier sides of Loewenstein that would come to light. As his history was looked into and the investigation went on, it was discovered that Loewenstein had had no shortage of potential enemies. It turned out that his International Holdings and Investments had been slow to show a return on their clients’ investments, and that they had been involved in some dishonest business practices across the board. It was also alleged that Loewenstein had made a deal with the American crime boss Arnold Rothstein to sell opiates in Europe, meaning that he could have gotten in too deep with these unsavory elements. On top of all of this, he purportedly had a tumultuous relationship with his wife, Madeleine, and there was the suspicion she may have wanted him out of the picture in order to inherit his vast fortune. In other words, there were a fair few people who might have wanted Loewenstein dead or would have had something to gain from his death. But how could any have pulled this off on a tiny plane without anyone noticing? The main idea here is that this would have only been possible if one or more people on the plane with him were in on it, possibly paid off or coerced by Loewenstein’s various enemies or even his wife. This could have gone a few ways. Two or more of the passengers could have overpowered him and forcefully pushed him through the exit door, and since the plane was so noisy and the door was not visible from the main cabin, this could have been done discreetly even on such a small aircraft. Another idea is that the door might have been removed in mid-flight, jettisoned, and then replaced later during their unscheduled beach landing along the way. This would have been possible because the plane was not pressurized, meaning that removing the door would have caused some turbulence and that’s about it. It was also found that when they had landed on the beach they had been approached by soldiers doing a training exercise, yet had been evasive on why they had landed there. If this were the case, it would mean that everyone onboard would have been in on it. That he had been thrown from the plane somehow seemed to be the only possible way for him to have gotten through that exit door, but there was never any evidence to connect any of those aboard to a crime, and none of them were ever charged or even detained. In the end, the investigators were met with nothing but dead ends and puzzles. Loewenstein would be buried in a grave outside Evere, Belgium, curiously without his name carved into the slab upon it. It has gone on to become a great unsolved mystery, with the New York Times once calling it “one of the strangest fatalities in the history of commercial aviation.” What happened to Alfred Loewenstein? How did he disappear from that plane to wind up dead? Was this an accident, murder, or what? The case has been picked apart for decades with no end in sight, and we are left with a perplexing mystery that will likely never be solved. mysteriousuniverse.org/2021/12/the-mysterious-disappearance-and-death-of-the-man-who-fell-from-the-sky

www.coasttocoastam.com/article/watch-eerie-vanishing-figure-appears-in-background-of-camping-instructional-video/Watch: Eerie Vanishing Figure Appears in Background of Camping Instructional VideoSeptember 30, 2022 By Tim Binnall / www.coasttocoastam.com/pages/tim-binnall/A YouTuber filming a camping instructional video was taken aback when he reviewed his footage and noticed a man briefly appears in the background of the scene before seemingly vanishing into thin air. The spooky incident reportedly occurred at a lake in Northern Ontario during the making of what was meant to be a demonstration of how to cook S'mores using a Swedish stove. In the video, as the outdoorsman prepares a spot outside of his cabin for filming and his dog wanders around in front of the camera, a man can be seen off in the distance walking towards the shore of the lake. However, before he completely moves out of frame, the mysterious stranger inexplicably fades into nothing and disappears from sight. When the YouTuber later set about editing the video to be posted online, he was left positively bewildered by the weird vanishing man in the background. The lake where the scene was filmed is said to be the site of eerie paranormal activity such as sightings of mysterious balls of light and similar accounts of people on canoes who dematerialize in an instant. As such, many viewers online have suggested that the outdoorsman inadvertently filmed a ghost, while more skeptical observers have argued that the man merely appears to vanish due to the angle of the sunlight in the video. With that in mind, what do you make of the perplexing scene? ****************************************** Sep 29, 2022 While filming at the cottage for a "how to" video, this cameraman captured something unintentional and surprising. He was planning to create a short video about how to make a campfire treat (S'mores) on a Swedish stove. But when he looked thorough his video, he something in the background that caught his eye. What appears to be a person walking towards the beach can be seen. He's carrying something and all appears normal enough. Until the figure simply fades into nothing as quickly as he appeared. There isn't an obvious explanation for this. This is a remote lake in Northern Ontario, but there have been stories and whispered tales for generations on this lake. People swear they have seen mysterious balls of lightning moving up the lake at just above the water level. Others claim to see canoes in the distance with figures that appear hazy before they fade into nothing. There have been many stories that connect these sightings with the fact that this lake was a popular area for nomadic indigenous people hundreds of years before. Whatever the explanation, the appearance and disappearance of this person in the background will leave you guessing.
