Thank you Steve.. I see where my county is in the light red. Hey, we are more populated compared to everyone than I would of thought.

For some strange reason I can imagine Hitler doing that very thing. I wonder what else dictators do when they are not dictating?

this is really cool. Thanks Steve. PS. I live on Vancouver Island, not in Vancouver. Its the big island across from Vancouver. I live roughly in the middle on the east side.

Thanks Paulette.
The locations posted on the map are the positions of the Internet servers your messages emanate from. Your computer on Vancouver Island (sounds like a very lovely place) is likely served by an IP address in Vancouver, BC. Sky provides me with a city/town location, and a State Provence, Country name only. This way for you and every ones privacy only general geographic locations are posted.
This map post was only to draw attention to the map updates, since the TEOR map seems to not link any map updates to the 50 latest posts feature.
Now Paulette you can sleep peacefully knowing any aliens will likely abduct the poor IT employee tech. at the server location instead. ;D

'The Great Dictator' was one of Charlie Chaplains later classics seldom shown except on TCM (Turner Classic Movies). In a satirical political way, Chaplain could see the terrifying potential dark age approaching,
I enjoyed the whimsical playing with the globe, it reminded me of the fun creating these simple maps. The film does not reflect any political or other ambitious notions other than to have everyone join TEOR one day.... ;D

I noticed that we seem to have a lot of members in the middle part of the country and on the west coast but not many up in the north east where the majority of the population lives. we also have none from New Mexico and the surrounding vicinity even though historically this has been where most UFO/alien activity has taken place. I'm not saying that this means anything, I am just paying attention to stuff like that. Trying to figure out why our members come from some areas and not others. I dunno. I know why. People who live in big cities are not looking up at the sky as often. They are watching the streets for muggers and rapists. They are watching the other people driving to keep from getting in an accident or from getting run over. It makes sense to me to be honest. Exactly . I thought the same thing, but when I lived in New York, there is not much sky to see believe me. Straight up is all one see. It truly is a asphalt jungle. I guess if one lived by the water there he could see especially at night.. That is how John Lennon witness one, but it came right up to the building. During the day the inter city sees nothing. Too much going on around you on the street also..

You're right about that Lois.
When I was visiting in New York (on a family vacation when I was about 15) I couldn't see very much of the sky for the tall buildings everywhere... couldn't even see the tops of some of them from the street...
