I'm surprised that no one has done this earlier. Or...if they have, please move this to a pre-existing one.
I am alone in my house with a demented husband. I think he is happy to have me there all the time. I currently am at work though, calling clients from the peaceful small office I have. Our recepionist comes in for a few hours a day to take phone calls, bill and book people, etc. She seems as happy as I am to get out of the house.
A plague (biblical meaning). The big meaning was a bacterial disease that spread rapidly and had high lethality.
We already wish this was bacterial. That is easier to treat. COVID 19 is described as a "slippery" virus. It is mutating - there are already 5 strains. Some as more bad news that others. Italy got swept by the bad one.
A lot of time to thing now, without the usual distractions of shopping and milling in malls, Sitting in a restaurant with or without friends, partaking in good (expensive) food. Or sitting in McD's - watching ones kids touch plastic surfaces that a LOT of other kids have touched.
And that's just the daytime. When night falls, the real vampires and thrill seeking crowd into night clubs. To movie houses, to get a lot closer that 6 feet to strangers.
In sci fi books that I read in my teens, humans no longer were near each other. They could and did flaunt their bodies to each other, but touching was a crime akin to raping. Or worse.
I hope everything goes back to the same old. But I picked up a takeout lunch and some extra suishi rolls from the nice little place next door. This was their last day. They were doing deep cleaning and locking the doors. The manager kept saying, "We'll see you later." Over and over.
For many small businesses, operating on a thin margin, there may not be a later.
My neighbor across the street was packing to leave. Suddenly. They had sold their house, possibly while the prices were still high. She was moving to a remote community on the north island. About a half hour drive to the nearest restaurant, medical care. About an hour's drive to buy a pair of shoes or replenish your underwear.
They were putting a bunch of stuff in a pile marked "free: in their front yard.
I sense heavy change in the winds. How are the rest of you doing? Anyone battling the virus at home? Anyone have a seriously sick family member?
Oh my relations...

I’m dealing with this epidemic by doing the same thing I was doing before...working. While a lot of people are “sheltering in place” (which is not the correct term btw) and staying home I’m still driving all over the country delivering loads. I just spent several days in New York which was eerie. Normally packed streets were almost deserted and most businesses were closed. I could practically feel the germs crawling around. I’ve seen some crazy things. People wearing gas masks, gloves, surgical masks, bandannas, etc... I’ve seen people paranoid to the point of freaking out while others blissfully go on as if nothing is happening. I just keep doing my job. Since truck drivers are deemed to be “essential” workers I am exempt from all the curfews and quarantine laws so I can go wherever I need to. My girlfriend also has an “essential” job since she works in a hospital. I worry about her getting the virus from one of the patients, while she worries that I’m going to get it from one of the infected areas I’m traveling to. We’re both young and healthy so we would probably be fine even if we did get it. And we don’t have to worry about losing our jobs so life goes on, just without all the fun stuff we were doing before. No more marathons, no more drag races, no more cruises or dance competitions. Now it’s just work every day. We’ll live though...

Paranormal - Urban Dictionary – ... fit into this category. There is no proof that either do not exist. If you have ever seen anything you can't explain scientifically, then that is paranormal by definition. -- www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Paranormal
It is not too bold a statement to say that no one doing Gematria can make any sense out of

futurism.com/surviving-isolation-lesson-astronauts Surviving Isolation: A Lesson From 5 Astronauts Can't handle two weeks in your house? Try a year in space.by Victor Tangermann / futurism.com/authors/victorMarch 24th 2020 Self quarantine can get pretty lonely — especially if you’re used to spending a lot of time around other people on a daily basis. But there’s one group who are real pros when it comes to isolation: astronauts orbiting the Earth with nothing but empty space around them, Space.com reports — in some instances, for an entire year at a time. So now, it’s time to listen to the experts. If they can survive months if not years aboard the International Space Station (ISS), you can survive a couple of weeks locked up in your apartment. The “lockdown” can be lifted once new cases quit happening. We now know that some people take 2 weeks to develop symptoms.... so, theoretically, we need 2 weeks without any new cases.

Even with me being an essential worker, it’s hard to keep track of “what day it is”. I am not panicked, but occasionally run into people that are. That contributes to the feeling of “mild confusion”. Like, will things ever be the same? Not necessarily normal; but not so weird.
For those that took this seriously, I imagine them nearing a month of “extra-carefullness”. For those of us who regularly washed their hands, especially after coming home from the store, there are NO “I told you so” moments 😕.
If people HAD taken this seriously, and listen seriously NOW, it doesn’t look so grim.
There is always hope

"Thankful that it is FRIDAY". Still wondering if space is paranormal? Could be. Some astronauts report that on their return they smell of sizzling steak. Maybe all those comets are parts of dinosaurs blown into space but I don't know. Think there's a YouTube on the subject. GoL

Use These Webcams to Hunt for UFOs, Bigfoot, Ghosts and Monstersby Paul Seaburn / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/paulseaburn/March 19, 2020 The coronavirus has many people working at home, staying home instead of eating out, child-sitting and other activities. If one of your favorite hobbies or activities was looking for UFOs, ghosts, Bigfoot, cryptids and other paranormal things … you’re in luck! There are plenty of webcams with continuous feeds pointed at the sky, the waters, the buildings and the other places where these anomalies may occur. A guy in Ireland has already spotted the Loch Ness Monster four times from his easy chair! We’ve put together a list of webcams in various areas for you to try. Take a look, then wash your hands, grab the remote and start hunting from home. jcurio -
I concur that a lot of people, including myself, are walking around in "mild confusion."
When people suffer a loss - they go into various identifiable steps. These have been tweeked but basically they are: Denial (which has a shocky numb emotional presentation.) Bargaining (If I wash hands me and my family will be ok.) Or other mental stances of: how could this happen, possibly, its gods will...) then anger and grief that alternate and may be stronger than a person has ever experienced before. I do phone counsellng and most of clients, male and female, weep. Finallly acceptance of the situation, and lastly, one may arrive at compassion and do whatever one is called to do to help others.
I have arrived at the What the H*ll is wrong with the Chinese? Can they not stop their populace from eating wild bats and pangolins (which are almost extinct)! Do they all believe that rhino horn will make their penises longer and harder? Grrrrrrrr.[this would be the anger stage]
And I would say my grief dips into despair. My husband is fading away and we can't have the simple pleasure of him ordering what he wants to eat and both of us passing as normal in a restaurant. Or going to our favorite farm home stand. Or just driving around (he can't drive anymore which is what he really wants to do). Instead he lays in his reclining chair and watches the Secrets of Oak Island - over and over again.
But I am one of the lucky ones. I hope everyone here is as well. Joy to you in small things. Paulette

Hi Paulette 🤗
And Thank You.
On March 16, 2020 I had one of those days where “tears were just running down my face”. I hadn’t “had one” in I don’t-know-how-long- and I tried every excuse in the book for my overwhelming despair. Came up with a couple valid reasons (none involving the Corona virus).
Of course, now I KNOW. But after that day, and now “knowing”, the grief is livable. Tolerated.
But now others are talking about GRIEF.
You and I, not long ago, pondered another type of GRIEF. I can’t recall right now what we called it (maybe you do?) but it was something about global? Grieving for the environment?
Yes, I feel the sun shining on me, more than normal 🤗. I have to remember to talk about the silly, good things that happen to me (in my daily life). Little things, that only have “meaning” now to some, but have ALWAYS instilled some Wonder in me.
I am Loved. So are You.
We don’t just live in some sort of “matrix”. 😉♥️♥️♥️

I still think this coronacrap is being blown way out of proportion. They’re shutting down entire counties because of 1 or 2 cases. It’s not like the Ebola virus that has a 50% mortality rate.
The conspiracy theorist in me is wondering what they are really up to.

The conspiracy theorist in me is wondering what they are really up to. But yet you say that you are still driving your truck 🙁. So you are telling me that the pictures I see of places in New York EMPTY, is just some scene from a movie. That 5,000 people dying in that state since Christmas is a lie. That me seeing license plates from the Carolinas, New York, and Oregon pretty regularly now, here in Missouri, is just because “I’m aware”. On March 10, I said the EXACT same thing that you said. About what is being “hid”. I made some joke about our prez having another affair (he just got out of the impeachment thing) and everyone, like 8 people sitting and having dinner together, laughed. It was a church setting, so I was immediately embarrassed for being so “blunt”. 🙁 We laughed some more at my red face. Wow. A month ago today. And I haven’t seen ANY of those people since. (I’ve seen some other friends on zo0m 😊). I think, that developing a special episode on Sesame Street to explain to kids how to play together NOW (as if this is permanent), IS EXTREME. Please, explain your thoughts further?

U.S. officials warned Americans to expect alarming numbers of coronavirus deaths this week, even as there was evidence that the number of new infections was flattening in New York state, the epicenter of the U.S. outbreak.
With many Americans celebrating the Easter holiday on Sunday, the top U.S. infectious disease expert warned on Friday that it is too early to relax restrictions on Americans.
"Now is no time to back off," Dr. Anthony Fauci said.
The number of U.S. deaths is now the second highest in the world. Over 1,900 new deaths have been reported three days in a row, according a Reuters tally. U.S. deaths rose by 1,500 on Friday with many states still to report their figures. (Graphic: tmsnrt.rs/2w7hX9T)
Confirmed U.S. cases of the COVID-19 illness caused by the virus topped 485,000 on Friday and have been rising by 30,000 to 35,000 cases a day as testing becomes more available. Globally, there have been over 1.6 million confirmed cases, with the death toll topping 100,000.
Only Italy has more coronavirus deaths than the United States, with 18,849 fatalities reported on Friday, although it has a much smaller population. After a marked reduction from previous peaks, new infections have picked up in the past two days, frustrating hopes that the illness was in clear retreat.
The world is battling the COVID-19 pandemic. A Montefiore Medical Center employee walks past signs thanking the medical staff on April 9 in New York City. New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said that while signs show that measures taken by New Yorkers are beginning to flatten the curve, COVID-19 deaths across the state hit a daily record for the third straight day on Wednesday with 799 fatalities.

Yes, I’m still driving the truck cuz I’m one of those “essential” workers who doesn’t have to obey stay at home quarantines or restricted areas. I’m out here working my butt off trying to keep the nation supplied with toilet paper. 🙄I was just in New York for several days. I’ve been spending a lot of time up in that area, plus New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan...all the hard hit places. I suppose somebody has to keep working. My girlfriend works at a hospital and she said that a lot of the employees are having their hours cut because they don’t have enough work for them to do. They cancelled all the elective surgeries to prepare for the massive influx of corona patients that they thought would be coming in, but there’s no massive influx. There are a few trickling in day by day but nowhere near as many as they expected. They had her take time off for a week then asked if she would volunteer to work temporarily at a different location. Naturally she said yes. Turns out the temporary location is a “highly infectious disease unit” filled with corona patients. I am really not thrilled about her being there.

Sorry about that! I hope that she doesn’t get it 😕.
But yeah, I had also heard about some nurses getting hours cut.
So far, I know 5 people that HAVE it. Two that I can check on day to day, and the other 3 I pray for with my Bible study group 😊.
One that I can check with, is in ICU. The person has pneumonia. But not on their death bed, so I’m thinking that it’s just a matter of time to get better.
I’m still astounded by the numbers of death. Aren’t You?
People STILL going to the store for toilet paper? I had to “calm my house down” about just going to the store everyday for whatever. I guess that’s a normal thing around here that I’ve just become aware of. I know that some people like to get fresh fruit every few days, but I’m talking about someone just deciding that they need vanilla icing 🙄. Or a birthday card. No exaggerating.
Hang in there!
