www.ufostalker.com/event/33036 Animals Fall Silent As Large Object Passes Case Number: 33036 Log Number: US-11012011-0013 Submitted Date: 2011-11-01 08:11 GMT Event Date: 2011-10-15 21:30 GMT Status: Assigned City: Boone Region: Iowa Country: US Longitude: -93.8802273 Latitude: 42.0597047 Shape: Cigar Distance: Unknown Description: First of all if these objects are using space and time to bend the field in front of them for propulsion then that would explain the uncany calm prior to the sighting. I should of been well within the field of that when it went by. It was Saturday the 15th of Oct. between 9:15 and 9:20 P.M. Was standing outside as I usually do every night and caught this object in my vision off to the right side. It was 400ft west and 800 to 1000ft high. It had two lights one foward and one aft and a lenth of approx. 400ft. It looked oblonged, however it could of been bigger as it was dark and it was also the dark of the moon. It's total travel distance from my point of view was right at 8 tenths of a mile, using land marks. NO sound what so ever. Did find it distubing that there was not a dog barking or geese making noise at that time and thats not normal here. Have not done the math to compute the speed but will when I get time to do so. Object distance traveld was 8 tenths of a mile in 3 or 4 seconds. I used land marks and line of sight to come up with this. The army tought us well. It should of pasted right over the west edge of the Ames airport. If I had not been looking in that direction that night I would have never seen it, it was to fast. Media: None

I'm more curious as to if someone claims abduction memories, particularly if they have physical anomolies on their bodies, does anyone investigate whether the dog did as well. Because they are hairy, a person would have to look very carefully. But a person might remember that the dog was licking a particular spot, or limping, or whatever.

I can't recall if any dogs were ever reportedly abducted...it would be kind of hard to hypnotize them and ask. I think Spotless once said that his dog was abducted...or something like that. That might have just been a dream. I dunno...

That might have just been a dream. I dunno... Hi Sky . It wasn't a dream . My puppy ( after what happened ) stuck by me like glue . If I went outside he cried and cried until I came back in . If I went to the bathroom he was in between my legs leaning against me . I talked to my F.I.at that time ( I was not in MUFON ) and he had heard of one other case like mine . This is a rare case for a animal to be abducted and returned back . BTW My wife could not understand why he acted like that . Today he is more like a normal puppy dog . But if he feels like there is a ET near by he will get real close to me and shake . Camera time . So far no pictures RON

news.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981504025 Flying Saucer UFO Spooks Dog in Nashville (Video)[/color] by Tom Rose July 29, 2012 A strange UFO video was posted on YouTube which has one unusual distinction, other than that the sighting is of the flying saucer variety and the evidence is photographic only. In this case, the witness claims the unidentified flying object scared his dog so much, it had to be rushed to a veterinarian. The object in the photographs looks like the classic flying saucer type as it was snapped zooming over a house in Nashville. The witness claims he was barely able to grab a few photos before it disappeared from view, and he really didn't think much of the sighting. Until he noticed his dog's reaction. The pet began to wobble on its legs and did not behave in its usually vigorous way. The owner rushed him to a vet and was told the animal had an elevated "phosphor" count, whatever that is. After some treatment and a few hours rest, the dog returned to normal. But the witness claims the incident had to be a direct result of the UFO sighting. For all the details of this strange story, click here. In the meantime, here's the video: TO SEE VIDEO & CONTINUE READING: news.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474981504025

Hmmm...I Googled phosphorus high counts in dogs and got decreased kidney function, imbalanced dog foods, and dehydration. Since the dog recovered quickly, I'd go with the last one. It's been VERY HOT in the States.

I don't know if the 'ships' have an effect on animals but I know they were able to control the horses my friend and I rode. They must have been as much in a fog as we were because she was on mine and I was on hers and neither of them seemed to notice the difference ..and neither did we right away.

Animals have brains the same as people do. If people can be hypnotized or have their minds controlled I see no reason why animals would be any different. We know that animals have dreams to. I wonder if they ever dream about sharks?

Animals also seem to be more in tune with electromagnetic energy. That is why they can sense earthquakes long before people can. Maybe that is why dogs sometimes go bonkers when a UFO is nearby.

There was a post about this on Mufon (years ago now). There was divided experience - some animals went quiet and tried to slink away and some went ballistic and barked or whatever. Maybe it depends on what the UFO is "broadcasting". If it is attempting a kidnapping - it or its drivers might put out alpha waves - "Everything is OK." If one blunders upon a ship or if they are not concerned with their local effects on the wildlife - different response.
I thought it interested that when the horses ended up getting switched - the feisty one did not act up for the less experienced rider. Which is unusual. They may have been placated somehow.

Maybe the horses just wanted to get the heck out of there and they didn't care who was riding them.

I think we all had an 'itch' to get away from there..and you're right Pauline..he wasn't himself at all. So they can manage critters too.

thesop.org/story/20130804/baboons-in-netherlands-zoo-spooked-by-ufos-video.htmlAugust 4th, 2013 Baboons In Netherlands Zoo Spooked By UFO's? Video! By Robert Paul Reyes "A brood of baboons living in a Netherlands zoo have been spooked for days. Staff at Emmen Dierenpark say the primates have been huddled together, barely eating or moving. baboon It`s the fourth time in 20 years that the 112 east African baboons have been traumatized for some unexplained reason, BBC reports. The hamadryas baboons have also turned their backs on zoo visitors." International Business Times A zoologist consulted a baboon expert who opined that the baboon`s unusual behavior could have been caused by a predator, perhaps a UFO. This article wasn`t published by the National Enquirer or a British tabloid, this curious incident was reported in the august and respected International Business Times. My educated guess is that the baboons weren`t spooked by a UFO; a more reasonable conclusion is that visitors have been feeding them marijuana. Go to any college in the Netherlands or America and you will see a bunch of primates huddled together, munching on Doritos, and barely moving. Although the fact that the baboons aren`t eating is perplexing, maybe they don`t get the munchies. Maybe the poor creatures are suffering from existential angst. They are suffering a sense of disorientation and confusion in the face of a meaningless and absurd world. You`d be out of sorts also if you lived your life in a zoo exhibit, while stupid people made faces and pointing at you.

thenightshirt.com/?p=1517Oct. 22, 2013 UFOs and AnimalsMac Tonnies, a UFO lover and a cat lover, saw a connection between how UFOs behave and how we behave around our animals. He noted that UFOs behave an awful lot like laser pointers, and their effect on us is similar to our toys’ effect on our pets. I couldn’t help thinking of this last winter when a video from Norway (embedded below) briefly went viral—a POV of a quadcopter drone encountering and descending on a moose, accompanied by the vocal delight of the drone operator and his friends. I don’t understand Norwegian, but their surprise and joy is clear from their laughter, and the moose shows no fear, and even approaches the drone in curiosity. It is indeed somewhat magical, a strange new way of achieving “communion” with a fellow creature. I’m a great fan of trailcam photography, both for cryptozoological and more mundane purposes (the picture above is of bobcat kittens in my mom’s yard in Colorado), but drones open up whole new possibilities for animal watching and interaction. The moose video made me want to get a quadcopter myself, so I could (I imagined) explore the neighborhood and visit animals with it—a raccoon up in a tree, a deer and her fawn, a flock of geese, even a lonely dog in a backyard. I imagined how fun it would be to be, in effect, a UFO in the lives of animals—to descend into the life of a creature, be able to watch it up close, and interact with it—not scarily (certainly not cruelly) but maybe teasingly, playfully. Play is learning (among other things). When I play with my animals, I am learning about them, always finding some new nuance in their personalities, their selves. I wonder if it would be any different if I was a UFO and Earth was my beat? CONTINUE READING: thenightshirt.com/?p=1517
