I've delivered quite a few loads to military bases also, and airports, prisons, FEMA warehouses and all sorts of other interesting places. Getting to see secret stuff like that is one of the few things about that job that I actually like. I also almost "accidentally" drove into a nuclear power plant once because some fool gave me the wrong directions. That would not have ended well.

Even though you have this website, you manage to have some sort of clearance for deliveries. (Maybe you've been arrested/questioned so many times in the past, that someone feels like they know you well?) I've recently been looking at crimepreventionresearchcenter.org/tag/cprc-original-research/page/2/. Anyway, its pretty evident to me that my "fear" of people IS more relevant than having a fear of unknown aliens. Humans can't protect us from humans. Unknown aliens, I at least have some chance of protection from humans by "them" (wink).

mysteriousuniverse.org/2015/07/x-is-for-xtension-area-51-gets-new-massive-hangar/July 1, 2015 ‘X’ is For Xtension: Area 51 Gets New Massive Hangar This month, NASA administrator Major Charles Bolden made the headlines of several media outlets, although not because of some major astronomical discovery or the announcement of an exciting new space mission. During a Q&A session with a group of British school children, Mr. Bolden was asked by one of them –10-year-old Carmen Dearing– whether he believed in aliens or not; his answer, of course, was the cookie-cutter “they are out there, somewhere” reply any NASA representative usually gives, and the fact he didn’t even bother to mention UFOs is a veiled indicative of the official contempt for the phenomenon. Curiously enough, Major Bolden also mentioned the existence of Area 51 in that same event –though the newspapers carrying the story were scarce on details regarding what kind of question prompted his admittance; perhaps it shouldn’t surprise us even the younger generations are privy to the infamous military base, given how it’s even been used as a gag in the Looney Tunes’ 2003 film Back in Action. Major Bolden had this to say to Her Majesty’s younger subjects about the best-known secret place in the world: “There is an Area 51,” he said. “It’s not what many people think. I’ve been to a place called that but it’s a normal research and development place. I never saw any aliens or alien spacecraft or anything when I was there. “It thinks because of the secrecy of the aeronautics research that goes on there it’s ripe for people to talk about aliens being there.” I took umbrage with Bolden’s remarks at The Daily Grail, because they made the Groom Lake Air Force base look like just a regular, run-of-the-mill facility where uncle Sam carries out ordinary, albeit sensitive stuff –kind of like an IRS office in the middle of the desert!– but if it’s such a normal place, why all the secrecy? There are many military installations in the United States which allow guided tourist visits inside their premises. But Dreamland will never be among those, despite what Mr. Bolden’s words would make us or the kiddies believe; and that’s because even though Area 51 has apparently turned into a laughing stock to the rest of the world, and the 2 digits have permeated every instance of our pop culture, the top-secret base is STILL very much operational and as busy as ever. Proof of that is a humongous new hangar which is just about to be completed, located at the south of the base and away from the rest of the other buildings. The first one who made me aware of this was Mr. Norio Hayakawa, a seasoned UFO and Area 51 researcher, who’s been investigating the mysteries surrounding Groom Lake with a very skeptical eye –Norio is definitely NOT a fan of the ETH. He was even able to come up with a link to the latest satellite images of this new hangar, at the TerraServer aerial imagery service. As of June 29th of 2015, feeding Google Earth with the TerraServer coordinates does not show the new hangar, which in understandable given the free software is still using 2002 images in that area. Google Earth was still useful to one of Norio’s contacts to try and get a rough estimate of the hangar’s size, which he calculates to have an area of about 46,200 square feet. The Aviation-dedicated website Foxtrot Alpha have also taken notice of Terraserver’s new images, and have been speculating about the possible purpose of this new massive building since 2014, in two-part post [1] [2]. I’m no Aviation expert, but common sense makes me agree with both Foxtrot Apha’s analysis that whatever the Air Force is pretending to store inside their new hangar has to be a) rather large; and b) very sensitive. bigstory.ap.org/article/bb6d6848bf2d4bd3a50b89e85116628c/air-force-wants-owners-give-nevada-bombing-range-site Air Force wants owners to give up Nevada bombing range siteBy KEN RITTER / bigstory.ap.org/content/ken-ritterSep. 7, 2015 LAS VEGAS (AP) — The U.S. Air Force is giving an ultimatum to owners of a remote Nevada property now surrounded by a vast bombing range including the super-secret Area 51: Take a $5.2 million "last best offer" by Thursday for their property, or the government will seize it. The answer: No, at least for now. The owners, who trace their mining and mineral claims to the 1870s, include descendants of a couple who lost their hardscrabble mining enterprise after the Air Force moved in in the 1940s. Nuclear tests then began in 1951, their mine mill mysteriously exploded in 1954 and they ran out of money to seek reparations from the government in 1959. "What they really want to buy is our property, our access rights and our view," said Joseph Sheahan, 54, who has led the fight with his cousin, Barbara Sheahan Manning, on behalf of about 20 property co-owners. Both live in Henderson, Nevada. "We prefer to keep our property, but it's for sale under the right price at the right conditions," Sheahan said. "Why don't they ask themselves what it cost my family over the years in blood, sweat, tears and money?" The two sides are far apart. And they know condemnation proceedings would lead to a "fair market value" determination that could end up in court for a long time. The federal government gradually encircled the mine property — totaling fewer than 400 acres — northwest of Las Vegas, making it a private island reachable today only by passing armed guards at security gateposts. The surrounding secure 4,500-square-mile reservation for nuclear testing, military training and other research is almost twice the area of the state of Delaware. "The land has become an increasingly greater safety and security risk as demand for test and training opportunities have increased," the government said in an Aug. 28 news release describing the final offer. Today, Groom Mine overlooks Groom Lake, a site so secret that Col. Thomas Dempsey, a Nellis Air Force Base commander, would only refer to it on Friday as "one of many remote locations within the Nevada Test and Training Range." "Nothing you can look up in any Air Force naming convention refers to Area 51," added Jennifer Miller, deputy assistant Air Force secretary for installations. But check the Internet or watch TV's "X-Files" and Area 51 and Groom Lake evoke tales of top-secret aircraft research and testing, CIA programs and maybe extraterrestrials. The Triple-A baseball Las Vegas 51s even poke fun at the legend, with the team name and a mascot character named Cosmo. Sheahan family members consider themselves good neighbors and patriotic Americans, with generations of decorated military members, Manning and Joe Sheahan said. They don't tell what they've seen. Can't resist on this one, saying "I told you so".
My "secret Guide" told me recently, that THIS is where we should be looking. LOL.
I'm sure this "land holdings" thing is just the tip of the iceburg. What is Nevada known for other than Las Vegas, and government holdings?
Mining.
This next statement will make some people angry . . . but isn't there something that can be done along the lines of land conservation, even "protective" Indian Reservation??
I drove a friend to Las Vegas one week before I left for Wisconsin this summer. And I have relatives in a suburb out there. I saw a lot of dried up river, but beautiful, beautiful, places.
Please. Don't they have enough land already??

www.cnn.com/2015/09/11/us/area-51-nevada-legal-battle/ A battle is on for Area 51 in Nevada, but not the kind you might thinkBy Jason Kravarik, CNN, and Dan Simon, CNN Updated Sat September 12, 2015 | Video Source: CNN Rachel, Nevada (CNN)For decades the public has tried to find out what's buried at Area 51, the military facility that housed America's top Cold War secrets. For Joe Sheahan, it's his father -- buried on a plot of land three miles from where the U-2 spy plane was perfected, according to CIA documents declassified in 2013. This week, Sheahan visited his father's grave site for what he thinks will be the last time, now that the U.S. Air Force wants to buy the land and has vowed to use eminent domain to get it. The Sheahan family, which has owned the land in southern Nevada since the 1880s, doesn't like the government's price: $5.2 million for 400 acres of land and mining rights. The Sheahan family has owned Groom Mine, a piece of land in Area 51, for more than 125 years. A September 10 deadline to accept the offer has passed with no agreement, and Joe Sheahan is digging in for a legal fight. "If I come out with nothing, so be it," he told CNN. "I'm not going to lay down and say it's OK." The Air Force wants the land because, after decades of escorting family members into the highly restricted space, it can no longer ensure the family's safety during the "near-24/7 operation" at the base, officially known as "The Nevada Test and Training Range." "We've tried to do everything we can, include canceling missions when they come out," said Col. Thomas Dempsey, commander of the facility. "And that's a tremendous expense to taxpayers." That's ironic, say the Sheahans, who claim the most danger they've faced was from the military itself, intimidating the family since the Air Force began taking over land here in the 1940s -- today it controls 2.9 million acres. "I didn't create this mess, they did," Sheahan said. "They surrounded us. We're tired of running, tired of hiding." Bill Uhouse, then a 71 year old man, claimed to have been a Area 51 engineer and revealed that he use to work in collaboration with a Grey alien at the Area 51 site. Many people in the past have come forward with information and many have a lot of things in common. Here are some of them... 1. There is a massive underground system composed of bases and compounds. These facilities contain labs, work shops for reverse engineering and secure "rooms" for the "Extraterrestrial Biological Entities" or EBEs for short. 2. In relation to number one, these bases were constructed toward the end of the Truman Administration. 3. Multiple humanoid races exist. 4. A race of "Greys". Three types: Tall or "Large" Greys. Short Greys and Greys the average human height as well. 5. A race of tall "Nordic" Human Extraterrestrials with large eyes. 6. There is even mention of a "Reptilian" race by many as well. 7. Each race is thousands of years more advanced than us. We are basically newborns in the galactic community of intelligence. 8. A treaty was signed between the U.S. and the Greys during the Eisenhower administration and a trade began. We would receive alien technology in exchange for a certain number of humans. The Greys use humans for biological research and possibly attempting to create hybrids to save their dying race.

www.area51.org/area-51-the-most-surprising-things-you-didnt-know/ Area 51: the Most Surprising Things You Didn’t KnowAgentZero January, 2016 1- It’s nothing like in the moviesWe’ve all seen inside Area 51—in the movies. Independence Day (1996), Paul (2011), and that awful Area 51 (2014), and on The X-Files, it’s shown as super-high-tech and otherworldly. Of course it would look like that! They have UFO technology. The base is guarded by huge fences and helicopter patrol, right? There is no fence around it! We at Area51.org have personally been to the border of the base, and can tell you that there’s no fence to hop—just signs with warnings like “lethal force authorized”. We saw and heard no helicopters, although we did spot the legendary “cammo dudes”, the private security guards hired to protect the base. They drive around in ordinary trucks. Area 51 may well have alien tech hidden underground, but according to insiders who have spilled the beans, the inside of the real Area 51 looks old and run down. Groom Lake Area 51 from the air Bob Lazar, the guy who says he worked there in the ’80s reverse-engineering UFO technology, describes the interior of the underground base as plain and ordinary, much like an old office building with cubicles and meeting rooms. There’s a lot of dust and rust, and not much in the way of neon-cyber whiz-bang technology. That is why it’s so striking, according to witnesses, when you see the alien spacecraft housed there underground—it’s all being held in such a drab, unremarkable place. No word on what the alien visitors think of these digs, but insiders do claim to have sighted them there, lurking underground. 2- It doesn’t existAt least it didn’t until 2013, when the US government finally declassified a CIA document that admitted that a secret base exists out in the Nevada desert. Up until that point, the government absolutely denied that any such base existed, even though it’s surrounded by warning signs authorizing “the use of deadly force” if you enter, and despite the fact that unfortunate pilots who wandered into the base’s airspace were either forced down by Air Force jets or, in some cases, shot down. Later in 2013, Barack Obama became the first president to mention Area 51 by name in public. Neither the CIA report nor the president mentioned aliens, but, well, that’s not surprising. This is the government we’re talking about. All that official silence didn’t stop Nevada governor Bob Miller, though. In 1996, he officially declared nearby Highway 375 to be Nevada’s “Extraterrestrial Highway”—a publicity stunt tied in with the movie Independence Day. 3- It got bigger—for a surprising reasonThings were great for Glenn Campbell—an Area 51 researcher, not the singer—until 1995. Glenn, who was living in nearby Rachel, Nevada, had discovered a peak not far from Area 51, and it was high enough that he could see the whole base. The peak didn’t appear to have a name, so Glenn dubbed it “Freedom Ridge”. The name stuck. Vantage points for Area 51 (some forbidden) He brought others out to Freedom Ridge, too—including professional journalists, who’d become fascinated with Glenn’s adventures as a self-styled investigator of Area 51. A film crew from ABC News were out at Freedom Ridge with Glenn when they were arrested, and their cameras confiscated by Area 51 guards. That may have been the last straw. In 1995, the US government seized the land around Freedom Ridge and another vantage point, Whitesides Mountain. It increased the size of Area 51 only somewhat, but it made it darn near impossible to get a view of the base from the ground without telescopes or binoculars. The base is 60 square miles now—and growing. How long until the government seizes additional land? It’s only a matter of time. 5- There’s a nightclub on base Baseball fieldA baseball field at Area 51 No kidding; former employees have said that Area 51 has its own extravagant disco right in the heart of the facility, where employees blow off steam at night after working on ultra-secret projects all day. (Obviously, reverse-engineering UFO technology can take a lot out of you.) We wonder: is the club called Dreamland? That’s not all: it also has a baseball field (above-ground, see the photo), tennis courts, and a large private gym. When it first opened, the only amenities were a single tennis court and a bowling alley, but obviously they’ve been expanding. Maybe they even have Wi-Fi. www.coasttocoastam.com/pages/watch-armed-guards-stop-tourists-at-area-51Watch: Armed Guards Stop Tourists at Area 51Published on Mar 9, 2016 Tourists Family Arrested by Cammo Dudes for Driving Through Main Entrance of Area 51.A shocking new exclusive footage has been released by Jeremiah Hasvold from July, 2015. Jeremiah and his son took a road trip to Las Vegas (Nevada) to explore Area 51. They had no idea what was about to take place that day. Check out the complete road trip video on Jeremiah’s channel. A group of tourists hoping to get a better look at the outskirts of Area 51 took their sightseeing a bit too far after crossing the restricted barrier of the base and drawing the attention of armed guards. In a dramatic video of the encounter, the tourists' car pulls up to a location on the perimeter of the facility where there are infamous signs saying that deadly force may be used to prevent trespassers. Incredibly, the brazen driver of the vehicle simply speeds through the ominous border and is quickly stopped by a white jeep with two armed guards. The men then force the driver to walk backwards up the hill towards them while his family waits, arms raised, back at their car. Unfortunately, the video ends with that chilling scene, so what became of the family remains a mystery although they were presumably either arrested or sternly lectured for their extreme attempt at exploration. The UFO researcher who received the video and uploaded it to YouTube was highly critical of the guards' behavior, noting that the border is a whopping 20 miles from the actual Area 51 base. But some viewers had less sympathy for the family in light of their foolhardy decision to disregard the restricted area signs. Nonetheless, for anyone who has ever wondered what would happen if you threw caution to the wind and drove into Area 51, let this video serve as a unsettling warning that you won't get too far. www.coasttocoastam.com/pages/watch-armed-guards-stop-tourists-at-area-51

thehill.com/homenews/administration/279564-obama-not-planning-to-release-area-51-files Obama not planning to release Area 51 files By Jordan Fabian 05/11/16 UFO enthusiasts will have to wait for a Hillary Clinton presidency to get more information from the government about the possible existence of aliens from outer space. The Democratic presidential front-runner has promised to release information about Area 51 — a Nevada Air Force base where many believe the U.S. keeps top secret information about extraterrestrial beings — if she is elected president. But President Obama has no plans to open up government files on the matter, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Wednesday. “I have to admit that I don’t have a tab in my briefing book for Area 51,” Earnest said after he was asked whether the president wants to beat Clinton to the punch before he leaves office. "Because it has been taken out?" one reporter asked. "Maybe it has," Earnest joked. "Part of a grand conspiracy." The spokesman smiled and said he is “not aware of any plans the president has to make public any information about this,” adding that he’s not sure whether Obama has reviewed any government files on extraterrestrial life forms. Contrary to Clinton, Obama has frequently joked about UFOs. Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel asked Obama last year if he had ever tried to get to the bottom of conspiracy theories surrounding Area 51. "The aliens won’t let it happen," Obama joked. "You’d reveal all their secrets. They exercise strict control over us." thehill.com/homenews/administration/279564-obama-not-planning-to-release-area-51-files

Remaining calm in stressful situations, dealing with tricky customers and long hours in the sky. Flight attendants work hard — but a new airline job ad expects even more of hopeful applicants. “Janet airlines,” which flies US government workers from Las Vegas to the mysterious Area 51 in Nevada, is looking for cabin crew who qualify for “top secret government security clearance.” Shrouded in mystery, the airline’s fleet consists of unbranded planes operated by the US Air Force. And, in a job advertisement posted on the website of private defense contractor AECOM, candidates must be able to deal with unusual incidents like hijackings or bomb threats. On top of duties expected of regular cabin crew such as safety demonstrations, cleaning and emergency procedures, applicants must keep quiet about where they’re going and what they’re doing. Janet airlines wasn’t named after a mysterious woman — it stands for “Just Another Non-Existent Terminal” — but other than that very little is known about it. Flight tracking radar shows some of the flights, with call signs starting XXX, making the 45-minute journey to the nuclear facility at Tonopah, which has been the focus of many conspiracy theories. Other brief flights go to an unspecified destination nearby — believed to be the Area 51 facility famous with alien hunters. The highly classified site at Groom Lake is believed to be used to test experimental aircraft and “black projects” weapons systems. Its existence was only acknowledged publicly for the first time in 2005. Conspiracy theorists believe the top-secret military base contains the remains of an alien spaceship that crashed in the 1940s. No one aboard a Janet flight is allowed to reveal where they are going or what their job is. Some conspiracy theorists believe the area holds the remains of a crashed alien spaceship, but an extraterrestrial expert who used to investigate UFOs for the British Ministry of Defence believes there is little to the rumors. Nick Pope, author of “Encounter in Rendlesham Forest,” said: “The UFO and conspiracy theory community think it’s the place where crashed UFOs are kept and where the US military are trying to back-engineer this alien technology. “Sadly, despite the rumors, I’ve seen no evidence that we’ve recovered any extraterrestrial technology.” nypost.com/2018/01/11/top-secret-airline-that-flies-into-area-51-is-hiring/

mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/01/area-51-why-its-futile-to-try-and-get-in/ Area 51: Why It’s Futile To Try And Get Inby Nick Redfern / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/nredfern/January 23, 2019 Trying to access Area 51 is dicey, dangerous, pointless and fruitless. Do not do it. Such is the extent of the surveillance of the landscape that surrounds the base (and all of the Nevada Test and Training Range, too), it’s all but impossible to successfully penetrate the secret base. Cameras, motion-detection devices, heat-seeking technology, night-vision, aerial drones, helicopters and much more collectively ensure that any attempt to stroll onto Area 51 – whether by day or night – will simply not work. That doesn’t prevent people from thinking they can do exactly that, though. A perfect example of this stupid futility occurred in the latter part of 2012. It was in October of that year when a team from the BBC tried to achieve what no-one else had done: find a way into Area 51. The two primary figures in the saga were Andre Maxwell and Darren Perks. The former is a well-known Irish comedian, while Perks is a conspiracy-theorist. And for good measure, they had a few UFO sleuths with them too, as they traveled around not just Nevada, but also Arizona and California. The plan was for the pair to get as close as they could to Area 51, and have the film-crew capture all of the excitement for posterity. It didn’t quite work out like that, though. They should have known that: there was not a chance. The entire crew and cast was clearly not prepared for what was about to come down on them. They actually thought that trying to get into the base under cover of darkness would actually work. Of course, it didn’t. And it couldn’t! Their first stop was the town of Rachel – the home of the Little A’Le’Inn, which is the closest place of normality to Area 51. Not too far away is what is known as Area 51’s “Back Gate.” According to Perks: “There was no one around, no guards, no vehicles – nothing. We filmed for approximately thirty minutes and tried to call the guards but there was no one there and no sign of them. So we all decided to walk past the barriers onto the restricted area past the security huts and basically onto Area 51. Nothing happened.” Going through the gates does not mean that you are immediately on Area 51. The base itself is still more than eight miles from the gates. In other words, despite what Perks claimed, they were most assuredly not on Area 51, at all. They were still miles away from it. And trying to get to the base from the gate is impossible without the required clearance – as the team quickly learned to their cost. For a while the team managed to get some stock-footage of the area. It was, however, when they decided to knock on the door of one of the security huts at the gate that all hell broke loose. Armed security personnel descended upon them, ordering them to lie down on the ground, face-down. Or else. Not surprisingly, one and all did exactly what they were told to do. And quickly, too. All of the team was extensively searched. And, for a while, their iPhones, wallets and cameras were confiscated. For around three hours they were forced to lie flat on the desert floor. Background checks followed, as did a trip to the local sheriff’s office, where they were duly chewed out and fined in the region of $500.00 each. A lesson was learned the hard way: if you try and penetrate Area 51, you will not succeed. Instead, you’ll have a gun pointed at you and you’ll likely end up out of cash and a file will be opened on you. In other words, unless you have a warped reason to have your life turned over for the worse, then be content with Google images of the base. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/01/area-51-why-its-futile-to-try-and-get-in/

Man with Mysterious ‘Cylindrical Object’ Shot at Nevada Test Site Near Area 51by Brett Tingley / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/bbtingley/January 30, 2019 A mysterious and unexplained security breach at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) turned deadly this week, highlighting the serious nature of the Air Force’s secretive desert research facilities which include Area 51. According to a press release nnss.gov/docs/docs_newsreleases/2019/NR-19-0001_Incident%20at%20NNSS%20012819.pdf issued yesterday, at 5:18 pm local time on January 28, an unidentified male sped through a security checkpoint at the entrance to the site. Both the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and the NNSS Security Protective Force Officers pursued the man in what became a high-speed chase which lasted eight miles. Eventually, the man came to a stop and exited his vehicle. That’s when things got weird – and dangerous. According to the NNSS, the man got out of his car and began approaching security officials carrying an unknown “cylindrical object.” The man did not respond to officers’ verbal commands to stop, forcing security personnel to open fire. The man was pronounced dead at the scene; no officers were harmed. The Las Vegas Review-Journal www.reviewjournal.com/crime/shootings/chase-at-nevada-national-security-site-ends-with-man-shot-dead-1584482/ says the FBI is investigating the incident. The Nevada National Security Site, formerly known as the Nevada Test Site, is home to the U.S. military’s underground nuclear testing program, weapons development programs, and many nuclear research projects. The infamous Area 51 is a remote detachment of the NSS found just an hour to the east of the main site. I’m sure you’re wondering the the same thing I am: what exactly was the “cylindrical object” the man was holding when he got out of his car? What would someone want to smuggle into the secretive research facility? The vague way the object has been described in both the press statement and news reports is rather curious. Was this an attempt at sabotage? A foreign intelligence operation gone wrong? Or did the man take a wrong turn fleeing Area 51 with some type of exotic alien material? Area 51 While it’s much more probable the object was an empty can of Icehouse or a flashlight, the lack of details released to the public so far leaves the imagination free to wander. Even if this happens to be a case of bad decision making due to mental illness or intoxication, it highlights the deadly seriousness of the many “No Trespassing” signs surrounding Area 51 and other secretive research sites in America’s deserts. No grainy cellphone photo of alleged alien technology or an experimental black triangular drone is worth risking your life. But seriously: what was the mysterious “cylindrical object” the man was carrying? Why was he trying to get into such a heavily guarded facility? Does this have anything to do with the other Area 51-related revelation this week about secret ‘motherships’ mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/01/mysterious-boeing-patent-appears-to-show-mothership-at-area-51/ possibly being tested at the site? Stay tuned. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/01/man-with-mysterious-cylindrical-object-shot-at-nevada-test-site-near-area-51/

mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/07/53000-people-have-pledged-to-storm-area-51-this-fall/ 53,000 People Have Pledged to ‘Storm Area 51’ This Fallby Brett Tingley / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/bbtingley/July 5, 2019 We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens. Let’s see them aliens indeed. I hope you’re like me and are already practicing your Naruto run, because we’re doing it: we’re going to gather up tens of thousand of people and run right past the guards at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) and storm Area 51 before they can catch or shoot all of us. Who’s with us? A Facebook user by the name of SmyleeKun and the group “Shitposting cause im in shambles” created the event, titled Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us. The event is set to take place on September 20, 2019 at 3am. Attendees will meet at the Area 51 Alien Center in Amargosa Valley, Nevada before proceeding to Area 51 itself. Well, attempting to proceed, anyway. The last time sometime tried to speed past the armed guards at the site, it didn’t go so well. In January, a man was shot by both the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and the NNSS Security Protective Force Officers after he led them on an 8-mile high speed chase while attempting to drive into the Nevada National Security Site carrying a still unidentified cylindrical object. How will things turn out when thousands of people show up at once? As of now, 53,000 people have pledged to storm Area 51. Of course, that means they simply clicked “Going” on their social media whatnots, so take that figure with a grain of salt. (Update: as of July 8, over 120,000 people have now said they will attend.) Still, what would happen if let’s say just 9-10% showed up? Would the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and the NNSS Security Protective Force shoot everyone? Just a few? A couple dozen? Hopefully, non-lethal means of deterrent could be used instead. Remember those “sound cannons” Canadian police unveiled during the G20 protests in Toronto back in 2010? Who knows what kinds of spooky gizmos the guards at that place may possess. Will anyone actually show up, or is this a case of trolling or slacktivism at its finest? Judging by the fact that discussion and photos associated with the Facebook event are mostly crude jokes and memes featuring Randy Quaid from Independence Day, I have low hopes for this one. Still, I hope it actually happens – and even if it doesn’t, it certainly makes you wonder what would happen if a huge crowd could ever actually manage to coordinate an attempt to see what’s really in those hangars. Can a Facebook event make it happen? Let’s see them aliens. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/07/53000-people-have-pledged-to-storm-area-51-this-fall/

But that was never an easy feat, given the ‘enthusiastic’ security troops that patrol the borders of the base (see Blair MacKenzie Blake’s article in our Darklore series about his adventures there for evidence). But what if that approach was the wrong? What if the way to unveil the secrets of Dreamland was through people power, bursting onto the base and freeing any aliens held captive since they took a wrong turn just north of Roswell, New Mexico? Well, we may be about to find out. A Facebook event, Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop Us All – which likely started as a joke and gained momentum through the Chans (given one of the creator’s names is ‘Shitposting cause im in shambles‘) – has now gone viral. As of the writing of this article, 196,000 people have now indicated they will be attending: On the night of Friday, 20th of September, the UFO truthers will “meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry”. Hopefully someone has told the members of the enthusiastic Facebook group that Area 51’s security troops are literally authorized to respond to trespassers with “deadly force” (or, if you’re ‘lucky’, you could get a hefty fine and 6 months in prison). The only note about that possibility on the Facebook group is the message “if we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets” (‘naruto run‘ is a meme based on the peculiar running style of an anime character). Area 51 Warning SignGiven the Facebook event’s jokey nature, it’s likely that most people won’t attend, but one would think out of that amount of people there are going to be more than a few that take it seriously and do attempt something. Let’s hope the ‘camo dudes’ are forewarned and in a good mood… www.dailygrail.com/2019/07/storming-area-51-200000-people-sign-up-to-mass-invade-the-nevada-ufo-base/

Storming #Area51 would be irresponsible, illegal and potentially dangerous. Besides, once a secret base is routinely namechecked in #UFO movies, it's game over. If there were ever any aliens there, they're long gone - moved somewhere you've never heard of. ****************************************************'Storm Area 51': Alien Hunters Planning Summer Raid on Top-secret Nevada Air Force Base. SeriouslyBy Shane Croucher / www.newsweek.com/authors/shane-croucher 7/10/19 Nearly 220,000 people have signed up to a Facebook event planning a late-summer raid on Area 51 in the Nevada desert to "see them aliens" by running really fast en masse like a cartoon ninja at the secretive air force facility. Area 51, also known as Homey Airport, is infamous for the alien conspiracy theories that have centered on it since the 1950s. Most famously of all, it supposedly stored what was found at the site of the notorious—and thoroughly debunked—Roswell UFO incident. The joke event, titled "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us," is scheduled for 3 a.m., September 20, and was set up by a Facebook page dedicated to "s***posting" memes and SmyleeKun, who streams himself on Twitch playing video games.According to the description, everyone will meet at the "Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry." Organizers recommend that the group runs in unison in the style of animé ninja Naruto Uzumaki, with their heads forward and arms held outstretched behind them. "If we Naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Let's see them aliens," the event description says. Whether or not anyone takes the joke seriously and shows up on September 20 at the heavily-guarded and closely-surveilled site remains to be seen. Edwards Air Force base in California, which administers Homey Airport, did not respond immediately to Newsweek's request for comment. The location of Area 51 is around 88 miles by road northwest of Las Vegas. The U.S. Air Force says Homey Airport is a flight testing facility for new aircraft. In 2015, the CIA released documents relating to Area 51 in what was the first official confirmation of its existence. The same year, the CIA published a brief history of the controversial and mysterious Air Force site. It all started with the testing for Lockheed's first U-2 back in 1955, a reconnaissance jet used throughout the Cold War by the U.S. Air Force, which took place at Area 51 and was shrouded in secrecy because of its military significance and sensitivity. The land got its name Area 51 because of its Atomic Energy Commission map designation. It was also nicknamed "Paradise Ranch" by the U-2's engineer Clarence 'Kelly' Johnson, and Watertown because rainwater from the mountains flooded the dry lake bed. "Although the commonly preferred official name for the facility today is the Nevada Test and Training Range at Groom Lake, both the names Watertown and Area 51 were used as official names for the facility," the CIA history says. In 2018, Politico revealed the existence of a multi-million dollar program at the Pentagon to investigate UFO sightings by American pilots and other military personnel amid concern that foreign powers had developed technologies that surpassed that capabilities of the U.S. It is called the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program. Area 51 aliens UFO Facebook event A souvenir shop that houses a brothel in an annex beckons visitors near a junction that leads to Area 51 on July 19, 2014 at Amergosa Valley, Nevada. Area 51 is another name for a portion of Edwards Air Force Base that UFO enthusiasts have theorized contains evidence of visitors from outer space.www.newsweek.com/storm-area-51-aliens-ufos-facebook-naruto-run-1448449

mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/07/53000-people-have-pledged-to-storm-area-51-this-fall/Hopefully it's just a joke but you never know with some people. It IS patrolled by armed guards and I'm sure that 'just in case' there will be a few more added. People want to 'see' the aliens. Ever since the Navy owned up to seeing some UFO's I (I read) people have been more determined. NOW they get rowdy. Where were they when sites like this were formed?

"We can move faster than their bullets," the event page, which is clearly written with tongue in cheek, promises those who RSVP for September 20. What they're after The mysterious Area 51 has been the focus of conspiracy theories for decades, and many people think it's where the US government stores its secrets about aliens and UFOs. The area was officially acknowledged as a military site in 2013, but the theories live on. Though the September event is most certainly a joke, it comes just a few weeks after a group of US senators was briefed about reported encounters between the US Navy and an unidentified aircraft -- literally an unidentified flying object.
