That's interesting. I've been to Taylor many times but have never seen anything unusual there. Since he said it comes back on a regular basis I will have to keep my eyes open the next time I am driving through there.
Fighter Pilot from the Indiana Air National Guard reports his UFO Sightings
Posted by Manuel Navarette on November 4, 2011 at 3:35 AM
The events that I am about to describe, are all very real and have occurred multiple times over the course of the last four years. They are a much too common occurrence to many active military pilots and from what I have researched, have been a regular sight to many military pilots since World War II.
First let me fill you in on a little bit of background information, I am 38 years old, have been in the military since I graduated college until I left in 2005. I am an active member of the Indiana Air National Guards 122nd Operations Wing/ 163rd fighter squadron as well as a small business owner, husband and father of two.
My first encounter with what eventually became known as an “ Indiana Oh-ball” (short for Orange Ball) was in 2007 while returning from a routine training mission. We were inbound back to Fort Wayne , Indiana . We were cruising at an altitude of 7500 feet and in a three plane formation, when a pair of objects passed us like we were going backwards! Each object was approximately 10 feet across and a perfect sphere, they glowed a brilliant orange that made them look like a pair of flying Jack O’Lanterns. The passed us and banked hard right, climbing as they went. In the span of 3 seconds, they were about 1500 feet above us and still climbing till they were out of sight. We contemplated giving chase, but we fly the A-10 Thunderbolt (Warthog) which is a ground attack plane and not built for speed, it wouldn’t have matter since we were clearly out matched in every way by these two objects.
This lead to us radioing in what we saw to the tower in Fort Wayne, this was met by about 20 seconds of radio silence before we were told to return to base and report for debriefing. I of course can not and will not divulge the matter of the debriefing due to security reasons. But this was the only time we were ever debriefed by our superiors in regards to any of the sightings that we have had.
Another memorable sighting we had was more recently, we were on another routine training flight, we had been airborne less than half an hour and in route to the practice range when we were made aware by one of the pilots of three objects trailing us about a half a mile behind us and a little higher than we were. No sooner had the pilot finished this when those three lights overtook us and again made our planes (which were practically brand new, having only been delivered 6 weeks earlier) look like we were flying Model T’s. As soon as they overtook us, they climbed and basically looped completely around us, appearing behind us in a matter of seconds. For the next hour, they trailed behind us, as we made course changes; the three objects matched us. They stayed approximately 100 yards behind us the whole time. We again radioed in the sighting and were told that as long as they posed no threat to our safety, then to continue on course to our destination.
A Georgia witness driving along Sugarloaf Parkway between Lawrenceville Highway and Five Forks Trickum Road at 10:10 p.m. on November 4, 2011, reports a slow, silent, low-flying object with flashing lights in a cross or square pattern, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
"Not as low as the tree line, but not as high as a small plane would fly," the witness stated. "It seemed to be flying slower than would be possible for a plane, so it caught my attention. Then I noticed it had two flashing white lights and then two flashing red lights in sort of a cross or square pattern. I figured it was a small plane because of the flashing lights, but the fact that it was so low to the ground and was moving so slowly kept my attention."
The witness lost sight of the object and drove home, but then realized the same object was now directly overhead and flying in the opposite direction.
"I was out of the car, standing still, and it was moving very slowly overhead. We are directly beneath the regular flight path of jets heading toward Atlanta airport, so I'm very familiar with jet traffic in the area (which are much higher in the sky, but I can still hear them powering down as they prepare to land at Hartsfield, about 40 miles south).
"At the same time the object was flying over me going north, a regular jet was flying overhead south toward Atlanta, and I could clearly hear it. In less than a minute, the jet was completely gone and I could not hear it anymore, however, the lower object was still slowly flying over me, and that's when I realized that the lower object was not making any noise (so it was clearly not a plane or a helicopter). It made its way over the tree line and was gone."
The witness commented on what shape the object might have been. "The object I saw was definitely much lower than that plane. I want to say that it was a box shape, but I'm only basing that on the fact that the two white lights and two red lights were at four corners, but they almost appeared to be on one flat side rather than around an object. The two white lights flashed together and the two red lights flashed together. So, I can't really say what shape it was, maybe flat, maybe square, maybe diamond shaped. It seemed more like it was meandering along quietly rather than hovering. Almost like it was making a sweep of the area."
No images or video were included with the MUFON report, which was filed on November 5, 2011. The above quotes were edited for clarity.
Georgia is a current UFO ALERT 4 rating, with a higher than average number of UFO sightings nationally. Georgia had 16 reports in October 2011 - the 13th highest reporting state in the nation - while Missouri was the highest reporting state with 75 reports.
The above case links are the unedited and as yet uninvestigated reports filed with MUFON. Please keep in mind that most UFO reports can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Georgia MUFON State Director Ralph Howard investigates and reports back on these cases, I will release an update. Please report UFO activity to MUFON.com.

Last night November 8, 2011 in about 12:56AM. again, I witnessed something in the sky that put me in shock. Over the Atlantic shores of St. Augustine an unknown bright object in a BALL shape with orange, purple, green and red lights and surrounded by black balls were drifting to the right in the sky for 25 minutes and then stop and turn into a large white bright ball with a light tale. The object did not make any noise but the intensity of light changed every 10 seconds. Media: External Link

Multiple UFOs over South Carolina Fighter Jets Monitor UFOs over South Carolina
By Billy Booth, About.com Guide
Nov 11 2011
The events of this report occurred in St. Stephen, Berkeley County, South Carolina, on September 29, 2011. The eyewitnesses to this sighting were just south of St. Stephen, which is about 30 miles northeast of Charleston. The night was clear with no moon, as a man and his wife were standing in their driveway at about 9:20 PM.
They glanced up into the sky, admiring the beauty of the night, and at first saw nothing unusual. But as they walked toward the house, the husband took one more look, and saw something quite compelling; 10-12 blinking lights. They were located in a north-northeast direction, and about 45 degrees above the horizon.
The man was startled by the lights because they were much brighter than the many stars he normally admired each night. He immediately told his wife about the lights, and they both ran to a position where nearby traffic would not block their view of the objects.
A Falling Star?
In a moment or two, they also saw what appeared to be a falling star, but this did not seem to be what a falling star normally looked like, it was much larger and brighter, and had no tail. The object seemed to travel right through the lights they were observing.
Then something highly unusual occurred; the lights broke their formation, with 8 of them moving to the east, and 4 toward the west. Those that headed west would have been above and north of Lake Moultrie. The 8 that traveled east were not visible to them anymore being hidden by a nearby forest.
Air Force Jets Appear
They continued to monitor the 4 lights to their west, and after a minute or so, they saw two Air Force jets flying at full speed toward the four unknown objects. The man and wife were certain that the jets were nowhere to be seen until the falling object split the original formation.
It was almost a given that the jets were from Charleston Air Force Base, because of the direction they were coming from. In just a few moments, the jets had flown out of sight. The two witnesses looked back to the spot of the original sighting, and were surprised to see a falling star almost exactly like the first one.
They both were watching the skies for more activity, and were not disappointed. In the direction of Lake Moultrie, a third falling star was clearly seen. This one was only about 20 degrees above the horizon, coming from the north. The entire event was about 15 minutes in length.

We get plenty of these UFO kind of reports in recent years. It is always the same usually, first the lights in the sky, then air force jets responding. All based on the witnesses perception only. Normal human tendency is to notice the anomaly first? What if in reality it was the other way around? The jets were there first, and the lights appeared afterward, just the jet is 'normal', strange lights not so much?
Maybe UFO technology has not evolved - just human aerial warfare has and some UFO enthusiasts fail to remain aware and current?
The military does not discuss details of countermeasure flares for fear of betraying decoy strategies. They can live with a stack of UFO reports as an accepted social consequence if it keeps their pilots training then alive in combat later. The reports come from some who often think space brothers first, and military exercises far down on the list. What Dr. J. Allen Hynek called the 'escalating hypothesizes' checking off the more conventional explanations first hopefully.
In the case of the Phoenix lights, it may have been the Air force creating the excuse to cover the reality however - based on the numerous credible reports describing something else extraordinarily different - huge unknown objects sailing majestically over that area then. If you examine each case individually like the Phoenix cases, flares do not add up to explaining huge triangle objects seen by the Governor then. Along with the hundreds (thousands) of others. But creating the excuse fooling the public and media by blurring the facts - melting the more rare, truly remarkable and significant with the less so. Human perception can work both ways.
A quick Internet search finds that South Carolina is home to the Air Force's largest combat F-16 wing -- the 20th Fighter Wing based at Shaw AFB. St. Stephens, SC is a mere forty miles from Shaw. Not conclusive, but a circumstantial answer to another circumstantial question.

Triangle Formation of Blinking Lights (UFO/s?) in Miami, FL - November 16, 2011 (MUFON #33390)

I was driving into my driveway on my way home from tutoring a student. 2. I noticed the object as I had the top down on my Jeep and saw something strange in my field of vision. 3. I thought it was an airplane at first but then realized airplanes have lights that indicate that they are airplanes and that they do not fly in triangular formations and disburse all of a sudden.
4. The object traveled south and kept a constant speed. It appeared as if it was hovering south yet it was ascending at the same time. The first objects that I saw (the triangular formation) disbursed into three separate directions and appeared to regroup (in video). After I finished recording the first objects I ran to my grandfather who was outside with me (who also saw the objects) and then noticed another series of objects traveling the same path that the triangular formation followed.
The lights in the sky all exhibited the same behavior and the lights turned off after they finished ascending just below cloud level. The objects were still visible after the lights turned off and then vanished after a few seconds.
5. I was excited and curious at the same time. My immediate action upon seeing the triangle was pulling out my cell phone to record the UFO event. Overwhelmed with excitement, I only recorded the first sighting unfortunately
6. Multiple objects vanished as the lights turned off, however, they were visible for a short time after." Media:

I own a half mile airstrip with a pond next to it.This craft at about 5 mph at around treetop level followed the airstrip from north to south.
Noticed a dark grey triangle about one hundred feet across with different colored lights follow the 1/2 mile airstrip 900 feet from my house. The craft had no sound and moved in a very straight line until it got to the pond where it turned and continued out of sight at 4 pm Nov.1st.A red flashing light towards the middle bottom was flashing and around the craft were different colors that did not flash. The cat did a belly crawl inside the house for at least 10 minutes after the sighting. Also an orange ball the size of a beach ball followed the craft, about 500 feet behind in a straight line with the craft. The reason I saw the craft was the cat jumped up on the bay window sill and acted very differently which made me look in the direction of the cat. This is when I noticed movement coming from the north side of the airstrip. You could not miss the sighting once you looked out of my office window over the deck. When I first saw the triangle figure and the different colored lights around the craft and the way it moved just above the treetops there was no question at what I was looking at.There is nothing in our inventory of flying machines that would float at such a crawl and emit no sound at all. When the craft made a slow turn over the pond I lost sight of the craft because of the 50ft or so over the ground. Here is a baffling case of a UFO sighting with an occupant. From the UFO glory days of the 1950s, this case was investigated by NICAP, one of the most revered investigative groups which, by the way, is still at work today.
Many Ufologists consider the 1950s as one of the most informative, albeit baffling decades in UFO lore. The year 1952 was no exception. The most notable case of this year was UFOs over Washington, D.C.. This occurred only a year after the Lubbock Lights.
A Plane Crashing?
In August of this year, young housewife and mother, Mrs. Suzanne E. Knight, claims to have seen a UFO up close and personal. Even more startling was the presence of an occupant of the mysterious flying craft.
Mrs. Knight was doing her usual kitchen chores at about 9:30 PM, on a hot August night, when she heard something strange; a high-pitched buzzing sound, kind of like what electricity sounds like. The sound was definitely close by and seemed to affect the screen on the kitchen window.
At first, she thought it was some type of large insect running into the screen. This anomaly repeated itself several times. She moved to the window to take a look. What she saw was not what she expected.
A bright, glowing craft of some type was making a quick descent at what she estimated to be a 45-degree angle. Her first thought was that she was witnessing a plane in the process of crashing. She waited for the craft to hit the ground, but to her surprise, it did not. It simply stopped in mid-air and began to hover. She was able to get a good view because of a streetlight near the object.
Description of the Object
The UFO was about 300 ft. high and a 1/2 city block from her home. The object was cylindrical, what she described as the fuselage of a plane without wings. It was dull silver in color, with smoke or steam coming from its rear. She could clearly see a line of square windows with a yellow color emanating from the inside.
On the top of the object she could see a red light which extended up from the front of the body. Below the body there was a type of undercarriage. She likened it to a gondola of a dirigible. The cockpit had smaller windows than the main body. She could also make out what looked like seats in the gondola. Also, there were cabinets in the main body. These were slanted, possibly for a work area.
The Occupant
She then saw an occupant: "There was a man in front," Mrs. Knight wrote in her report to NICAP, "looking straight ahead towards the front [to her left]. I couldn't understand what he was looking at so intently, and not moving either. I expected to see a lot of instruments or dials, etc. similar to instrument panels on airplanes, but there were none that I could see."
The occupant also appeared to be bathed in the yellow glow. He had a helmet on. She left the window for a moment, and attempted to call the local newspaper, but could not get an answer. As she went back to the window and looked out, amazingly, the gondola with the occupant was gone, although the main body of the UFO remained.
The lights in the object were no longer shining, and as the lights went out, the main body of the object turned from its original dull silver to a glowing, red hot color. The object did not appear solid like before, but had a wavy appearance, like water running. She called out for her sister to come and view the UFO, but did not get an answer.
Thanksgiving UFO: Orange lights reported over 5 states
Roger Marsh, UFO Examiner November 25, 2011
Witnesses in five states report watching orange lights in the sky on Thanksgiving Day that appeared to move in a controlled manner, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database.
Six reports were filed in the past 24 hours from Arizona, California, Florida, North Carolina and Utah, all describing one or more orange lights - sometimes appearing as either a fireball or a teardrop shape.
In California, the witness was able to take video of the objects at the point where they were moving away in Case 33584.
"Noticed a single redish-orange fireball rising from eastern horizon from San Diego city center," the witness stated. "At first it looked like an asteroid, but it was going up instead of down. Shortly after a second appeared from horizon following same path as the first. Then there was a third. I ran to get my wife so I wasn't the only one who saw."
The video can be seen on this page - or downloaded directly from MUFON here.
All three objects appeared to follow the same path.
"The three objects followed the exact path - rising fast at first, then appeared to slow down as they rose. First object faded, away then the second, and third faded."
Two cases were filed from Arizona.
A "glowing orange ball" was reported moving west to east over Maricopa, AZ, in Case 33587.
"At approx. 10:45 p.m., while seated, my mother witnessed through the window a glowing orange fireball above the neighbor's roof," the reporting witness stated. "It appeared to be about the size of a full moon, but was too low and disappeared quickly. She ran outside to investigate and found it had moved far to the east, and was now about the size of a nickel held at arm's length. I did not see the initial fireball, but followed her outside directly because her reaction seemed so unusual. Within seconds I observed the orange object to be aspirin sized at arm's length and moving quickly away from us in an easterly direction."

More Chinese lanterns. Had some around our town again too. Expect the same on New Years eve too. Cruise the local Chinese markets, they will tell you plenty.

UFO SEEN OVER TEXAS OIL RIG 11/20/11 Gonzales, Texas
Uploaded by diegoislas123 on Nov 21, 2011
The person who shot this video is convinced that it is not a lens reflection or lights associated with the oil rig he was on near Gonzales, Texas.
We saw this UFO when we were working on the rig it's not a light plant because those are a white light and if you look close on the bottom you see a red light too and the bottom right blue circle moves too
5:30am, starting my day at work when suddenly I saw this weird lights in the sky..
My first thought was that they were lights on a group of radio towers but if you look down in the lower right hand corner you can see that there are red lights flashing on and off down there. The lights in the sky are probably just reflecting off of a glass window or something. One of the comments on youtube suggested that they might be from some Christmas lights. It's possible.

gee sky.... i don't agree with that.... since its this man's neighborhood.... i'd think he'd know if there were buildings there.... or anything else.... and we'd be able to see them....
I'm not saying that they are radio towers or reflections. That was just a possibility. It might also have been a giant UFO and the red lights in the corner might have been a reflection from the lights on it. There is no way to tell for sure by looking at the video though.
More orange lights in Florida--this time on Saturday, November 26. The observer seems to feel they are not Chinese Lanterns. Note video.

I am a former MUFON Investigator and this is not CGI.
It's difficult to be sure from night footage but these "orange orbs" appear similar to what I have seen and refer to as "orange fireballs". The ones I saw travelling NthEast to SthWest were further apart but following the same path, they appeared to be on fire like a smouldering coal.
I'm sure you can tell a chinese lantern when you see one and if you say these are not those then I accept your informed opinion. One thing does ring bells to me though, and that is that the "orbs" appear to be gaining altitude as they come into the screen from the left, it looks as if they are taking off from the ground. Was this your impression from the scene?
edit: I understood that you were the observer swampy, is that correct?

No, PWF, it wasn't me. I saw the report on Mufon and found the video on Youtube. I don't know the observer, although he is supposedly a former Mufon Field Investigator. He is the one that felt it wasn't lanterns.
Summary: three orange orbs, moved together as if connected
Case Number: 33893 Log Number: US-12082011-0010 Submitted Date: 2011-12-08 14:27 GMT Event Date: 2011-12-07 20:45 GMT Status: Submitted City: North Augusta Region: South Carolina Country: US Longitude: -81.9651152 Latitude: 33.5018026 Shape: Triangle Distance: One mile or less Description:
Driving to Wingstop from my house at about 8:45 pm on 12/7/11 I saw three orange orbs in a triangle formation. They moved together as if connected but I couldnt see if they actually were or not. They were moving away from me and appeared to descend slightly and bank slightly. They were obviously not airplane lights or anything like that. After around 8-10 seconds of looking at them they kind of went out, almost like they entered a cloud, but there were no clouds and they would have been to low to have entered a cloud anyways. Almost full moon and no clouds at all. They just kind of shimmered for a second and then disappeared. Second "UFO" Ive seen this year and third one in my life. Media: None
