The solutions to these riddles could indicate an alien aspect of our familiar Moon. Called “the Rosetta Stone of the planets” by Dr. Robert Jastrow, the first chairman of NASA’s Lunar Exploration Committee, scientists had hoped by studying the composition of the Moon, to resolve some of the mysteries of how our planet and solar system came into existence. However, six Moon landings later, science writer Earl Ubell declared, “... the lunar Rosetta Stone remains a mystery. The Moon is more complicated than anyone expected; it is not simply a kind of billiard ball frozen in space and time, as many scientists had believed. Few of the fundamental questions have been answered, but the Apollo rocks and recordings have spawned a score of mysteries, a few truly breath-stopping.” The "Rosetta Stone of the Planets"; Among these “breath-stopping” mysteries or anomalies as scientists prefer to call them is the fact that the Moon is far older than previously imagined, perhaps even much older than the Earth and Sun. By examining tracks burned into Moon rocks by cosmic rays, scientists have dated them as billions of years old. Some have been dated back 4.5 billion years, far older than the Earth and nearly as old as the solar system. The Moon has at least three distinct layers of rocks. Contrary to the idea that heavier objects sink, the heavier rocks are found on the surface. And there is a definite disparity in the distribution of minerals. Or............ Is Our Moon a Hollow Spaceship?"The more you study the moon, the more you will become aware that it is an orb of mystery – a great luminous cyclops that swings around the earth as though it were keeping a celestial eye on human affairs." - Frank Edwards, science writer "The moon is the Rosetta Stone of the planets." - Robert Jastrow, first chairman, NASA Lunar Exploration Committee "No, the moon ain't romantic, it's intimidating as hell." - Tom Waits I planned on loving the moon all of my life, and then I found out it was hollowed out and brought here by aliens. I no longer love the moon, but I am certainly many times more fascinated by it than when I thought it was simply a dead rock whipping through space alongside cousin Earth. Isaac Asimov wrote over 500 books in the science fiction and science genres. He wrote science books that explained, to regular people like you and me, chemistry, astronomy, physics, pulsars, quasars, Jupiter, Venus, the sun, the earth, the moon, and the possibility of extraterrestrial life. Asimov wrote in 1963: "What in blazes is our moon doing way out there? It's too far out to be a true satellite of Earth . . . It's too big to have been captured by the earth. The chances of such a capture having been effected and the moon then having taken up a nearly circular orbit about the earth are too small to make such an eventuality credible. . . . But, then, if the moon is neither a true satellite of the earth nor a captured one, what is it?" – Isaac Asimov, Asimov on Astronomy," Doubleday, 1974; Mercury Press 1963; also quoted in Don Wilson's book, Our Mysterious Spaceship Moon (1975). The Astonishing (Undisputed) Data 1. Moon rocks brought back to earth have been dated at approximately 5.3 billion years old, and the dust they were resting on has been dated at approximately 6.3 billion years old. This means that the moon cannot have come from (broken off from) the earth, which is only 4.54 billion years old. 2. On November 20, 1969, the Apollo 12 crew jettisoned their lunar module ascent stage causing it to crash onto the moon. The impact (about 40 miles from the Apollo 12 landing site) created an artificial moonquake with startling characteristics: the moon reverberated like a bell for more than an hour. This phenomenon was repeated with Apollo 13, which allowed its third stage to impact the moon, with even more startling results. Seismic instruments recorded that the reverberations lasted for three hours and twenty minutes and traveled to a depth of twenty-five miles. This means that the moon has an unusually light, or possibly no, core. 3. The moon's mean density is 3.34 gm/cm3 (3.34 times the density of an equal volume of water) whereas the Earth's mean density is 5.5 gm/cm3. What does this mean? In 1962, NASA scientist Dr. Gordon MacDonald stated, "If the astronomical data are reduced, it is found that the data require that the interior of the moon is more like a hollow than a homogeneous sphere." 4. Earth's moon is the only moon in the solar system that has an almost perfectly circular (though still technically elliptical) orbit. A nearly circular orbit indicates that the moon was probably not captured naturally by the earth, because the orbit of a captured satellite is always substantially elliptical, for a reason that makes itself apparent with thought. 5. Earth's moon is the only moon in the solar system that has a stationary (non-spinning) orbit. The same side of the moon always faces the earth. 6. Earth's moon's center of mass is about 6,000 feet closer to the earth than its geometric center, which should cause wobbling. We may ask: What force or intelligence placed the moon in orbit with its unique nearly circular orbit, lack of spin, and lack of wobble? "As outrageous as the Moon-Is-a-Spaceship[-Brought-Here-By-Aliens] Theory is, [it] is the only theory that is supported by all of the data, and there are no data that contradict this theory." - "Strange Moon Facts," Ronald Regehr An important book on the subject of the moon's arrival in orbit around Earth is Cosmological Ice Ages, by Henry Kroll. Here is Henry's video summarizing his book's findings. More strange facts about the moon can be found here and here. Extraterrestrial Archaeology, by David Hatcher Childress. The most important film about the moon, "Moon Rising," by Jose Escamilla. Our Moon Was Preceded by a Smaller MoonAt the time Tiahuanaco (in present-day Bolivia) flourished, approximately 12,000 years (or more) into the past, our moon was not yet in orbit around earth. Symbols on a wall in the Courtyard of Kalasasaya, near the city of Tiahuanaco, assert that the moon came into orbit around the earth between 11,500 and 13,000 years ago. The Tiahuanaco Calendar Gate (also known as the Tiahuanaco Sun Gate), was decoded in the 1940s and early 1950s by P. Allan and H.S. Bellamy. Their book, "The Calendar of Tiajuanaco," was published by Faber and Faber in 1956. The Calendar Gate tells the story of our previous (smaller) moon. "At the time Tiahuanaco flourished the present moon was not yet the companion of our earth but was still an independent exterior planet. There was another satellite moving around our earth then, rather close – 5.9 terrestrial radii, center to center; our present moon being at 60 radii. Because of its closeness it [the previous moon] moved around the earth more quickly than our planet rotated. Therefore it rose in the west and set in the east (like Mars' satellite Phobos), and so caused a great number of solar eclipses, 37 in one "twelfth," or 447 in one "solar year." (...) These groupings (37, 447) are shown in the sculpture, with many corroborating cross-references. Different symbols show when these solar eclipses, which were of some duration, occurred: at sunrise, at noon, at sunset. "[The calendar] also gives the beginning of the year, the days of the equinoxes and solstices, the incidence of the two intercalary days, information on the obliquity of the ecliptic (then about 16.5 degrees; now 23.5) and on Tiahuanaco's latitude (then about 10 degrees; now 16.27), and many other astronomical and geographical references from which interesting and important data may be calculated or inferred by us." - "Tiahuanaco" The Zulu Legend about the MoonThe following two paragraphs are adapted from Justin Mazza's article, "The Moon Is a Death Star": The Zulu people believe the moon to be hollow. According to Zulu legend, the moon was brought here hundreds of generations ago by two brothers, Wowane and Mpanku. They are known as the water brothers because they had scaly skin like a fish. (This story is similar to the Mesopotamia and Sumerian accounts about the two brothers Enlil and Enki.) Zulu legend tells of Wowane and Mpanku stealing the moon in the form of an egg from the "Great Fire Dragon" and emptying out the yolk until it was hollow. They then "rolled" the moon across the sky to the earth and caused cataclysmic events on this planet (the end of the Golden Age). Read: Who 'Parked' the Moon in Perfect Circular Orbit Around Earth? Zulu legend says that the earth was very different before the moon arrived. There were no seasons and the planet was permanently surrounded by a canopy of water vapor. People did not feel the fierce glare of the sun that we do now and they could only view it through a watery mist. The earth was a beautiful place, a gentle place, lush and green with a gentle drizzle and mist, and the sun's fury was not there. (This corroborates the geological and paleontological evidence that the Sahara desert was once green). The water canopy fell to the earth as a deluge of rain when the moon was put into place in the earth's orbit, correlating with the Biblical rain of 40 days and 40 nights. What Does This Mean? I'm not sure. by Jock Doubleday, Waitingforthehollowmoon; - See more at: humansarefree.com/2013/12/is-our-moon-hollow-spaceship.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+HumansAreFree+%28Humans+Are+Free%29#sthash.Iq6AGwyK.dpuf

Iany one Date of discovery: January 2013 Location of discovery: Earths Moon, near Bessel crater and North of Mara Serenitatis I was looking over old Apollo photos when I cam across this one that looks like a definite structure created by intelligent beings. The circle structure has an arm the goes off to a four leaf clover-like area with buildings on it. This is really strange and I ask that others look into this by clicking on the links below. One link in an official NASA link. It no longer has the hi-res photos but only the low-res photos of the area. The other link is of a persons site that saved massive amounts of NASA photos ten to fifteen years ago for the public to view. His photo of the same area is hi-res and gives us this amazing close up that is mind boggling to say the least. The hacker Gary McKinnon said in an interview that he hacked into US military computers and saw first hand documents that stated the US military has off world officers stationed on an alien base, and since the moon is the closest celestial body it has to be there. Hi and welcome Smiley69. It was the command service module from the Apollo 15 mission if I am recalling correctly. I spent about at least a couple of days searching through archives. I think the info I placed on this thread can be found on the 5th page, maybe even the 4th. If you have any questions as to where to search for the info besides what I posted feel free to ask and I'll do my best to provide links. Cliff

www.space.com/17287-apollo-17-last-moon-landing.html Apollo 17: The Last Men on the Moon 1972Elizabeth Howell, SPACE.com Contributor August 24, 2012 Astronaut Eugene Cernan drives the Lunar Roving Vehicle during the first EVA. Credit: NASA Apollo 17 marked the end of the program that took 12 people to the surface of the moon. By the time the mission launched on Dec. 7, 1972, public interest had declined, the government had shifted its focus to the Vietnam War, and many other factors brought the program to a close, even though three more flights had been planned. Though it was the last manned mission — so far — the moon still had some surprises for humanity to discover. Apollo 17 was the first mission to include a scientist in its crew. Geologist Harrison "Jack" Schmitt was one of the first six scientist-astronauts selected in 1965 amid immense pressure to do so from the National Academy of Sciences, who were worried only test pilots would walk on the moon. Schmitt's presence on the Apollo 17 crew as a lunar module pilot did not come easily. When it came time to select the final crew, Schmitt was chosen over Joe Engle, who was a backup pilot for Apollo 14 and ordinarily would have been next in the rotation to fly. Crewmates Ron Evans and Eugene Cernan were upset for Engle. However, they were pleased at the capabilities Schmitt — a geologic trainer for other moon-bound astronauts — showed on the job. Evans, the command module pilot, was on his first mission to space. He was on combat duty in Vietnam in April 1966 when he found out he was selected as an astronaut. Evans had not only flown in combat, but also instructed others on how to do so. Commander Cernan, a formal Navy pilot, faced many a crisis in space. On his first flight, Gemini 9, he did a spacewalk that exhausted him because there weren't enough handholds to perform his work in microgravity. On his second flight, Apollo 10, the lunar module briefly spun unpredictably as it did a practice descent to the surface. He was a seasoned pilot and felt ready to command his crew on the most challenging Apollo mission yet. CONTINUE READING: www.space.com/17287-apollo-17-last-moon-landing.html

Nasa has called for partners interested in developing low cost lunar missions, which could see the lunar surface being mined. It also hopes to create moonbases as a stopping off point for astronauts on missions to other planets. Nasa said it hoped the programme would build on its successes with private rocket launches. 'Building on the progress of Nasa's partnerships with the U.S. commercial space industry to develop new spacecraft and rockets capable of delivering cargo, and soon, astronauts to low Earth orbit, the agency is now looking for opportunities to spur commercial cargo transportation capabilities to the surface of the moon,' Nasa said. The new Lunar Cargo Transportation and Landing by Soft Touchdown (Lunar Catalyst) initiative calls for proposals from the U.S. private sector that would lead to one or more no-funds exchanged Space Act Agreements. www.space.com/24736-google-lunar-xprize-bonus-prize.html?cmpid=514648 5 Private Moon-Race Teams Compete for Bonus $6 MillionBy Miriam Kramer, Staff Writer February 19, 2014 Landing on the moon is no easy feat, and five teams competing for the $30 million Google Lunar X Prize might just get a little more money to help them send their probes to the lunar surface. Astrobiotic, Moon Express, Team Indus, Hakuto and Part-Time-Scientists are all in the running to win "milestone prizes" later this year, Google Lunar X Prize officials announced today (Feb. 19). The total purse for the awards is $6 million with the teams competing in three different categories for the funds, X Prize officials said. www.space.com/15863-google-lunar-xprize-moon-apollo-sites.htmlEach company's ultimate goal is to ready its probe for launch by Dec. 31, 2015 in order to have a shot at winning the overall prize. To win the grand prize, a company's spacecraft will need to be the first in the competition to move 1,650 feet (500 meters) on the moon and send video, images and data back to Earth from the lunar surface. The milestone prizes are designed to help teams overcome financing problems they could be facing while trying to compete, officials said. www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2013/05/nasa-detects-bright-moon-explosion.htmlMay 17, 2013 NASA Detects Bright Moon Explosion The Daily Galaxy via NASA Image credit: Michael Reynolds/EPA For the past 8 years, NASA astronomers have been monitoring the Moon for signs of explosions caused by meteoroids hitting the lunar surface. Lunar meteor showers" have turned out to be more common than anyone expected, with hundreds of detectable impacts occurring every year. They've just seen the biggest explosion in the history of the program. Unlike Earth, which has an atmosphere to protect it, the Moon is airless and exposed. Lunar meteors crash into the ground with fair frequency. Since the monitoring program began in 2005, NASA’s lunar impact team has detected more than 300 strikes, most orders of magnitude fainter than the March 17th event. Statistically speaking, more than half of all lunar meteors come from known meteoroid streams such as the Perseids and Leonids. The rest are sporadic meteors--random bits of comet and asteroid debris of unknown parentage. "On March 17, 2013, an object about the size of a small boulder hit the lunar surface in Mare Imbrium," says Bill Cooke of NASA's Meteoroid Environment Office. "It exploded in a flash nearly 10 times as bright as anything we've ever seen before." NASA's lunar monitoring program has detected hundreds of meteoroid impacts. The brightest, detected on March 17 in Mare Imbrium, is marked by the red square. Anyone looking at the Moon at the moment of impact could have seen the explosion--no telescope required. For about one second, the impact site was glowing like a 4th magnitude star. Ron Suggs, an analyst at the Marshall Space Flight Center, was the first to notice the impact in a digital video recorded by one of the monitoring program's 14-inch telescopes. "It jumped right out at me, it was so bright," he recalls. The 40 kg meteoroid measuring 0.3 to 0.4 meters wide hit the Moon traveling 56,000 mph. The resulting explosion1 packed as much punch as 5 tons of TNT. CONTINUE READING: www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/2013/05/nasa-detects-bright-moon-explosion.html Just a reminder for those interested to watch for this possible recurring event on March 17th, 2014. I'm planning on sending out reminders to the astro-community soon. Good find Auntym !

nationalufocenter.com/2014/02/cruithne-earths-second-moon/Cruithne, Earths Second Moon? Posted by: National UFO Center in Outer Space February 19, 2014 0 670 Views Cruithne (CREW-een-ya) is an asteroid with a bizarre orbit. when viewed from an Earth frame of reference (Stationary Earth). It describes a series of bean shapes. Over the course of 770 years the series completes a horseshoe-shaped movement, with the Earth in the gap of the horseshoe. It approaches the Earth from one direction, then it moves away and makes more bean shapes as it moves around the Sun, until it approaches Earth from the other side, and then moves away again. Studying the animation will show you that Cruithne never really goes around Earth. At times the orbit brings Cruithne underneath the south pole of the Earth (40 times farther away than the Moon), and at other times it can be seen on the other side of the Sun. Read More at nationalufocenter.com/2014/02/cruithne-earths-second-moon/ © National UFO Center Orbital Period: One Earth Year! Cruithne is at a balance point where its average orbital period around the Sun is the same as Earth – one year. Cruithne’s orbit takes it inwards towards the orbit of Mercury, and outside the orbit of Mars. Cruinthe’s fast motion when it is close to Mercury’s orbit is compensated by its slow motion when it lies beyond the orbit of Mars. The Earth helps maintain the orbit of Cruithne by “shepherding” it. At a slow point, the Earth’s gravity gives it a pull and speeds it up. At a fast point, the Earth’s gravity slows it down. Because the asteroid and the Earth do not go around the Sun in exactly the same amount of time every year, (the asteroid is currently going around slightly faster than the Earth), the position of the bean-shaped loop relative to the Earth varies over time. If the asteroid and the Earth were not in a special arrangement, the Earth would face potential danger as the asteroid would eventually drift towards our planet. However, in their current relationship, the direction of drift is reversed every time it approaches the Earth. It is as if the Earth uses gravity in a clever way to regulate the asteroid and keep it at a safe distance. Cruithne is about three miles in diameter (5 km) and was discovered by D. Waldron in 1986. It cannot be seen by the naked eye. The odd orbit was discovered in 1997. Astronomers working at Queen Mary and Westfield College in London came up with mathematical models to describe its path. Two other asteroids have been discovered which travel in a similar way as Cruithne; 1998 UP1 and 2000 PH5. The name Cruithne refers to one of the earliest Celtic tribes known to have inhabited Britain and Ireland. They may have been the first Celtic tribe to migrate from the mainland, or they may have been descendents of prehistoric tribes indigenous to the British Isles since the stone age Read More at nationalufocenter.com/2014/02/cruithne-earths-second-moon/ © National UFO Center Video has been removed by the user.. www.space.com/25322-moon-formation-wild-theories.html?cmpid=514648 How the Moon Formed: 5 Wild Lunar Theoriesby Mike Wall, Senior Writer April 02, 2014 Full Moon: Up Close and Personal IntroductionCredit: Imelda B. Joson and Edwin L. Aguirre The moon has fascinated humanity for millenia, exerting a powerful pull on our imagination just as it tugs on the oceans to create the tides. After gazing up at the moon for all those years, however, we're still not exactly sure how it came to be. Here's a brief rundown of the most prominent theories scientists have come up with to explain the moon's origin, including a few relatively wild ones with little observational evidence to back them up. [The Moon: 10 Surprising Lunar Facts] www.space.com/19619-top-10-moon-facts.html5Credit: Starry Night SoftwareSome researchers suggest that the moon may have originally formed elsewhere — perhaps even around another planet, such as Venus — before being grabbed by Earth's gravitational pull. Other worlds have gained moons in this manner. For example, Phobos and Deimos, the two tiny satellites of Mars, are thought to be captured asteroids. The capture idea isn't really an origin theory, of course; it just concerns how the moon came to orbit Earth. And it has some major problems, the most serious of which is the geochemical similarity of the Earth and moon. The two bodies have nearly identical oxygen isotope ratios, suggesting that they formed from the same pool of raw material. 4Fission Credit: JAXA/Koichi Wakata via @astro_WakataAnother idea — apparently thought up by Charles Darwin's son George in the 19th century — posits that the material that formed the moon was ejected into space by a molten, fast-spinning Earth in the very early days of the solar system. Most scientists discount the fission hypothesis, saying that Earth could not have been spinning fast enough to expel a huge blob of rock. But one 2010 study suggested that a natural nuclear explosion, set up by the superconcentration of radioactive elements, may have provided the kick to dislodge a moon-size piece of the early Earth into orbit. www.bbc.com/future/story/20120712-where-is-hiltons-lunar-hotel13 July 2012
What happened to Hilton’s ‘hotel on the Moon’?by Matt Novak Taking reservations Promotional literature prompted hundreds of people to enquire about Hilton's plans. (Copyright: The Hospitality Industry Archives, Conrad Hilton College, University of Houston) It is more than half a century since the idea of a Hilton hotel on the Moon was first mooted . Ever since, the plan has resurfaced periodically, making Matt Novak wonder if we are now any closer or whether there was ever a plan at all. A Russian company has unveiled an ambitious plan to launch a "cosmic hotel" for wealthy space tourists. In 1958 the Boulevard Room at the swanky Conrad Hilton Hotel in downtown Chicago offered delicious steaks, a lavish stage show, and a curious peek at the future. At the front of the grand hall was what was billed as the “largest hotel ice rink in the country”, on which troops of tutu-wearing girls danced for the crowds of diners. It was here, in the summer heat of August that black-tie wearing customers were given the first teaser of a legend that survives to this day: Hilton Hotels was going to the Moon. On stage, the final scene for the dancers was called “out of this world”. Although details of the performance are scarce, a Chicago-area newspaper called the Suburbanite Economist wrote that it was set in a “plush” hotel called the Lunar Hilton. The lavish show caught the writers’ imagination and he took it to its logical conclusion. As the 27 August 1958 edition put it: “this could mean that the Hilton chain is dickering with the idea of opening the first hotel on the Moon.” Fast forward to 2009 and an episode of the popular TV series Mad Men features the louche Don Draper and his team creating a fictional ad campaign for a Hilton Hotel on the Moon. “I want a Hilton on the Moon; that’s where we are headed,” says “Connie” Hilton at one point. Although the series is fiction, it got me wondering: had Hilton hotels ever really planned to go into space? When the writers of Mad Men were researching the programme, their go-to man was Dr Mark Young, who oversees the hotel founder’s archive at the University of Houston. He seemed like an obvious person to shed light on the story. According to Dr Young, there’s no evidence that Conrad Hilton was behind the vision of a hotel on the Moon. “[The writers of Mad Men] contacted me to learn about Conrad Hilton so I talked with them, but when I watched it this Moon thing came out of nowhere and I thought, ‘wait a minute, that’s not Conrad Hilton at all’.” In fact, he says, it was one of Conrad Hilton’s sons, Barron Hilton, who appears to have been the true evangelist for a Hilton on the Moon. “He, like everyone else was very captivated by the space age,” says Dr Young. www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2629836/The-ad-moon-Japanese-soft-drink-firm-reveals-plan-send-lunar-surface.htmlThe first advert on the moon: Japanese soft drink firm reveals plan to send special can filled with messages to the lunar surface *Project set to launch in October 2015 *'Dream capsule' will be made out of titanium, and shaped like a Pocari sweat can *Will contain messages from schoolchildren By Mark Prigg Published: 15 May 2014 It is set to be the first advert on the moon - and the first time a soft drink can has been abandoned on the lunar surface. The Japanese makers of the Pocari Sweat drink today announced plans to send a specially designed can made of titanium and engraved with messages to the lunar surface in 2015. The handwritten messages, gathered from Japanese children and internet users, will be stored as data in 120 titanium plates to be packaged in the lander, called a 'dream capsule'. Otsuka Pharmaceutical said the capsule will launch from Florida in October 2015. 'Until now, the space travel was only possible at a national project level,' the firm said. 'Now, we want to realize it privately and get to the moon.' The capsule to be delivered to the moon is made out of titanium, shaped like a Pocari sweat can, and weighs 1,000g. To continuously endure the harsh environment of the moon where the temperature shifts from minus 170℃ at night to 110℃ during the day, the capsule was developed specifically for this project. The capsule will be conveyed to the moon by the Falcon 9 rocket during a four and a half day journey. Good grief...isn't enough that we're up to our necks in cans on this planet that people throw away and add to the ambiance of Earth? Must they start a can collection on the moon too

Human's polluting of the universe is only starting. Imagine what it will look like a thousand years from now. The moon will probably be nothing but a giant landfill for all of our discarded waste. The sun will be dim from all of the energy we suck out of it. And Jupiter will probably be where all the people from New York go on vacation since their atmosphere is so similar.

We are a throw away society. Somewhere along the line we ceased to remember the importance of the planet. I'm fortunate enough to live with mountains and trees and breathable air..such places are few and far between now. For the life of me...I can't see anyway back to good.

www.davidreneke.com/black-friday-and-a-full-moon-this-week/# Black Friday And A Full Moon This Week by Dave Reneke Jun 9th, 2014 Bad luck can be a self-fulfilling prophecy – something those more superstitious might want to keep in mind this coming Friday. An unlucky trinity of superstitions is set to align itself so get ready. This week a full moon falls on traditionally the unluckiest day of the week – Friday, which also happens to be the 13th. On Friday the 13th driving a car or doing any form of cleaning is said to be unlucky, as is setting off on holiday – and don’t even think about sharemarket trading. On full moon nights, emergency rooms are said to overflow and crime rates supposedly increase. When asked for comment on full moon statistics the police refused to be drawn into the superstitious debate. Friday and the number 13 have been seen as separately unlucky in Western culture for centuries before they came together as the ultimate bad luck day about 200 years ago. Add to that the expectations of bizarre behaviour for which the full moon is often a scapegoat and this Friday could be downright terrifying for some. It has been 14 years since a full moon and a Black Friday fell on the same day and it won’t happen again until 2049. Victoria University professor and paranormal researcher Marc Wilson said he had never seen any objective evidence that Friday the 13th meant anything more than just another day on the calender, but people seemed to have an attraction to the unknown. There are no such things as unlucky days...only people who are determined to have bad luck on Friday the 13th. I've always found the day to be fine..and full moons are always full of amazing energy so...make up those minds that the day will be shockingly wonderful and the effects of the full moon making it more so. You can call bad vibes onto yourselves...by being negative ...or you can choose to be positive and happy. As for not cleaning...one day with my place not being cleaned and guess who would pay the price the next day??? ME. Ain't gonna happen.

www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/12/full-moon-friday-13th-2014_n_5488236.html?icid=maing-grid7 Full Moon On Friday The 13th Won't Happen Again Until 2049The Huffington Post | By Sara Gates Posted: 06/12/2014 For the superstitious, June 13 this year will be extra-spooky. That's because the full moon is set to fall on Friday the 13th, a rare occurrence that won't happen again for 35 years. The moon will reach its fullest point at 12:11 a.m. EDT on June 13. Observers in the Central, Mountain, and Pacific time zones may feel a bit left out, however, since this June full moon (also known as the "Honey Moon" or "Strawberry Moon") will turn full late Thursday night. But the moon should still offer a brilliant view -- weather permitting -- for skywatchers on Friday evening. The last time a full moon coincided with Friday the 13th was October 13, 2000. What makes the event such a rarity? It occurs only when three independent variables line up -- -- the moon phase, the weekday, and the day of the month. As Vox noted, "the odds of a year having a Friday the 13th full moon are just 5.81 percent. That means it happens, on average, every 20 years or so." Since the next full moon to fall on Friday the 13th is not expected to occur until Aug. 13, 2049, skywatchers should make to sure to get a glimpse of the perfectly round moon this week. www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/06/12/full-moon-friday-13th-2014_n_5488236.html?icid=maing-grid7

www.space.com/26541-moon-exploration-350-year-history-infographic.html?cmpid=514648 Destination Moon: The 350-Year History of Lunar Exploration (Infographic)By Karl Tate, Infographics Artist July 16, 2014 From ancient times, humans looked at the moon and wondered what it was, and if it were possible to go there. Prior to the invention of the telescope, people thought the moon was simply a glowing disc in the sky, and planets were moving points of light. Nothing else was known about them. When 17th-century Italian astronomer Galileo first pointed a crude telescope at the moon, he noted that the orb had terrain including mountains, flat plains and craters. Therefore, the moon was solid, and its surface might be walked upon. English mathematician Isaac Newton in the late 1600s reasoned that a cannon shell fired from a tall mountain would be pulled down to the Earth by gravity (diagram, above). A shell fired with a speed of 24,000 feet per second (7,300 meters per second) would fall continuously around the curve of the Earth. It would be in orbit. If the shell were fired even faster, it would leave the Earth and head into space. Such speed would require fuel with a great amount of propulsive energy that would not be available for about another 250 years. UFO Sighting: Google Earth Map Spots Alien-Like Figure on Moon [PHOTO+VIDEO] By Parismita Goswami August 5, 2014 UFO Sighting: Alien-Like Figure Spotted on The Moon by Google EarthYouTube Screen Shot/wowforreeel Google Earth map spotted a strange image on the moon in July 2014 that appeared to be a shadow of a very large tower or an alien. The rare image was captured in a one minute 28 seconds video, which was later posted on video sharing website, YouTube by a user named wowforreeel. The images on the lunar surface from Google Earth were submitted to UFO Sightings Daily. "An irregularly shaped dark spot he noticed on Google Moon looks like it could be a cast shadow from a massive standing object, or figure. At first I thought maybe it was something drawn into the picture but after going to G. Moon, whatever it is or isn't.. uh, is there. You get the idea. Go check it out and of course decide for yourself. Debunk it, shred it, figure it out," Wowforreeel told UFO Sighting daily. As the trend of using Google Earth to find UFOs and making videos of UFO sightings is becoming popular than ever, some people have believed the sighting to be true, while others disagree claiming it to be fake. Remember the 1967 NASA image referred to as "The Shard"? A strange and very large tower type figure that appeared in one still image captured by Lunar Orbiter III (I think). Well, this thing spotted by Jasenko could be eerily similar. An irregularly shaped dark spot he noticed on Google Moon looks like it could be a cast shadow from a massive standing object, or figure.
