It never bother me this dream as I know how I dream since childhood.. I could not understand why I dream crazy things . I always have. I have never had a normal dream in my entire life. What I mean is I never dream about normal things happening to me.
Citizenk . Since you have studied some about dreams let me ask.. Why would a person dream of a half human body attached to an animal body? These type dreams started around 3 or 4 years old. One was a set of woman dancers all in a line on stage with bare legs and nylons on them . All I could see was legs swing up and down . Then my dream took me to their heads. They all had the upper body of a bear. A black bear. Not a grizzly . A little old lady in a rocking chair with a cigarette in her mouth as I looked closer at her I noticed on the floor her nightgown had cat paws sticking out and in the back of the chair between wooden rods was a long yellow fluffy cattail flowing to the floor . I could go on all night. I don't see anything with ufos as a connection to this.

Patiently waiting for your answer, ck. ;D
Since obviously Lois has been "visited" since childhood, i think that looking for a "ufo connection" is ok.
though everyone most likely dreams of animals here and there, I would venture to say that many of our animal-type dreams are weirder than normal ?

That's a creepy dream JC... I have been dreaming of mannequins quite a bit lately. My daughter was recently telling me about a dream she had with "dolls". . . on questioning, the dolls were more like mannequins. Today, my head is more than fuzzy, like I described in that recent dream. I've been fighting it, but want to go try napping ;D. Coinkidinky-my sister talked about her head feeling 'fuzzy' at times. Not like allergies. Hers literally comes and goes. Stress .

Last night I dreamed about "ufo"s. I saw them in the sky, broad daylight over my house, and newfangled fighter jets (human) were trying to shoot them down. Then, in the same dream, a huge ufo ship (similar to a navy destroyer ship), long and rectangle shaped, came half-way out of the ground in our backyard. The air fights had been going on for awhile, and I assume that the alien ship came out of the ground to add its fire power. My initial reaction was to take my daughters and leave the area. I started to do this, and then realized that no way was I leaving my folks (there was something in my mind telling me that it would be hard to get them to go so fast). I woke up.
About a week ago I had two distinct dreams about trying to go "home". I couldn't find my "home", even though at one point I was inside the house I live in now. They were brief dreams, but distressful.
We are actively trying to move. Everyone is willing and my house should be on the market this week. One house we looked at as a family, sold one week before we planned to put a bid on it. We have found another house we like, but are going to offer less than the asking price. I have a feeling that these dreams are related to all this. . . .

That's a good analysis JC. Moving is always an uncertain and exciting experience... like a ufo firefight.

The firefight was almost like a dream within a dream because I recognized it (during the dream) as somewhat preposterous . I don't think I dream of "ufo" stuff very often.

I can admit that I'm probably extra emotional today, due to the dream I had just before waking. It has nothing to do with ufos or the paranormal. But it's times like these that I wish I was more like Ron (no dreams), or like Jokelly (very few remembered). I'll tell ya, it didn't help that 18 people in our district lost their jobs as recess aides, in a budget cut, with a new superintendant. And then 2 weeks later my boss asked me to be a recess aide for summer school. I had plans, and I told him I really couldn't do it, and he kind of "leaned" on me. He said there was "no one else". I found out later there was, so I guess they wanted "me". *********************************************************************************************************************** I dreamed that it was a "celebration" at school. It didn't look like my school, the students were different, but much of the staff was the same . It was a big celebration, and many extended families were there. My parents were out back of the school, like waiting for me to get off work, on my last day. We had regular classroom times, and I did little details like sharpen some pencils. The classes were linked not just by the long hallways, but the kindergarten classes to each other by inner doors (like when I taught preschool). At one point I had to make sure not to shut the fingers of a child following me in a door between classes (she was just trying to be helpful). Well, one of the kindergarten classes had a substitute on this day, and I had her class indoors for recess, and waited for her to come back, and another class was expecting me, so I had so many kids, and then help did show up (not the substitute) so I went on with the next class, right there in the same area. Next thing I know, a school bus is barreling down the school hall with kindergarteners in its front window, and my dad helplessly clinging to the side of the bus . It stopped, the top seemed to be sheared off, and I began reaching into the top to get students out. (BRB.)

Anyway, I was upset, my dad was unhurt but perplexed, and I found a smiling kindergartener on the floor near the gas pedal. No one was hurt. It had been that whole class of the substitiutes, and I was very upset and also felt like I shouldn't have left them in the care of someone else. But the only people seeming to understand the gravity of the situation was myself and my boss. My co-worker was just going around telling everybody about it like it was funny or something. . . ., the substitute was mad that she was being blamed. . .
Everything calmed down and we were having a school-wide/family sing along. A couple of small kids sang beautifully "Away in a Manger", and the incident was forgotten by everyone (except me and my boss). There were presents heaped under a tree for the children, and I saw names on the tags, of some of the kindergarteners that had been taken home by their families early, after the accident. I was sad, and walking around outside by myself. Outside was huge crowds also, and I noticed this 8 or 9 year old kid getting into a fight with his friends. His friends shut him down, but he was still angry and started throwing things, and something hit an old lady. I yelled at the kid to "stop"!, and then I spent the rest (a few minutes) of my dream chasing him down. He threw more things, hit someone else (I was being jostled by the crowd), and I was eventually able to get a hold of him. What I thought was initially particially anger, was concern. I got my arms around the kid, he calmed down, and I was just hugging him to my side and talking to him. I had this thought in the back of my mind that the kid was going to take off and resume what he was doing, but he was so pleasant in my arms and talking with me. . .

Don't you just hate it when work follows you home and invades your dreams? It's bad enough we have to work when we are at work. When we're dreaming we aren't even getting paid!

What I hate, is dreaming so intensely about a thing of my past! I mean, I had dreams about work before, but now I'm having them waaay too often, and the content is way too serious! Sometimes I can't believe I got paid for what I did. The actual experience was sometimes that good . I guess I have to now go through all the worrisome feelings that I shoved deep inside. (Shrug).

Slept really heavy last night and had lots of dreams. The first disturbing dream, was I was in the basement of this house, and something big and dark landed on my head. I called on the name of Jesus, and it disappeared . I had to laugh at myself this morning. I just recalled that about a month ago I was in the garage and some shelf bracket above my head broke, and a big box narrowly missed my head, (but caught my shoulder.). The dream I had just before waking up was very intricate. I'm still remembering a lot of details. It wasn't exactly scary, but the theme (to me) is. Again, all I wanted was to go HOME.

Ugh. Another dream about trying to go Home. This one, I was on foot (I'm always on foot ) and I was kind of lost, but knew that if I found Raytown Rd., I could make my way home. That's supposing that in the dream my home is where it is for real . I ended up at some sort of huge, corporate, science fiction-looking building. I talked 3 young men and one young lady into driving me to Raytown Road. They knew where it was, but it was 90 minutes away! That shocked me, because I felt like I could see it on the horizon! The young men were wearing brown, tweed suits; ties and all, that were too big for them. I got in the back seat of their sedan-like car. In real life I almost never sit in the back seat of a car, or at least think 2 or 3 times about it, before getting in. I woke up ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ This is the 4th dream about "Home", that I am aware of. I didn't talk much about the last one because it was so real, and disturbing. The last one (Dream 3) I was in an underground world living fairly happily with a Fairy family. It was a very intricate dream; one that has you thinking about it for days. I had a different father down there, and what I knew was a surrogate daughter. I was loved. There were places that the underground was so wide open and beautiful that one had to recall that you were underground . At the end of this dream I said my good-byes and walked down a long, snowy tunnel towards the above ground. I knew I didn't belong underground, no matter how pleasant it was, and I wanted to go home.

Little help here? I wouldn't mind someone doing a little interpreting here. Last night I had a dream about being mad at my sister . Those are pretty easy to figure out.

Two dreams. The first one, I had during last night. Very unrestful sleep, so tried laying back down for a couple of hours this morning. Had the second dream during this short nap. (my daughter is home sick today so just kind of 'hanging out" together). ___________________________________________________________________________________ First dream is now finally fading. When I first got up this morning I was somewhat upset, and even with a huge cup of coffee I couldn't seem to wake up. Feel very lethargic, still. I dreamed that I was visiting different people, at different places of residence, and this cute, little white dog was always around. Except he wasn't "cute" in personality. It seems that when I verbally said something about the dog being mine, it would come after me and viciously latch onto my arm with its teeth! I mean, I literally felt terror at this dog, as it attacked, and felt the pain of it biting me! Nevermind that it was so small. it snapped and growled and I went through this same scenario at least 4 times! It hurt really bad! (I woke up due to my alarm going off; not the terror or pain.) On waking, I had two instant revelations. I was someone other than myself in the dream (quite possibly a middle-aged man), and the little, cute, white dog in my dream was my real-life toy poodle! Talk about disturbing! (I never connected the dog of my dreams with my real dog, during the dream). I (in real life) have a slight cold, feel a little "down" because of that, but because of the dream, I wonder if I'm angry about something? I once heard that dreaming about an angry animal means that oneself is angry? I think that this has been true in another dream of years past (a snarling dog dream), but IDK. I am SO relieved to cuddle with my real, little white dog this morning. He is so sweet, and I could never, ever picture him harming me! It's just not possible. However, my little white dog has snapped and barked viciously at others. Especially when he thinks I need defending. He has a history of not liking men. He barks at and avoids my dad (even though my dad tries to coax him into sitting by him). My little white dog is old, still very energetic, but only has 2 to 3 teeth left. . . . . I have been bitten once (I believe) by a dog. That dog had just had puppies and I got too close (a neighbor's dog). It happened so fast that I was more shocked than physically hurt by that bite, and that dog was normally "loving" towards me, and others. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Second dream. Another "what the heck"? I dreamed I was temporarily living at a house with young adults, and late teens. None seemed to have a job, and I was wondering who was paying the rent, purchasing food, etc. My daughters were 8 or 9 years old in this dream, and were sitting at a kitchen table eating cereal, and trying to be oblivious to what was going on around them. I knew the situation was temporary, and when my real-life former husbands' live-in girlfriend (I've never dreamed of her before) showed up, I asked her if she had heard about my "new house"? No idea why I wasn't living there yet. . . . Anyway, yes, she had had heard, seemed happy for me, and then she proceeded off into some bedroom of this house. Next thing I know, some sort of "delivery" is made to the house, a lot more teenagers show up, and they are smoking (very obviously with pipes and joints) a lot of weed, right out in the open. The house becomes smoky, it reeks like the stuff, and I find myself feeling "trapped" and wanting to protect my kids . I don't take my kids and leave. I find some young lady who seems "responsible" in matters of this house, and try to reason with her why all this smoking is not a good idea. She just gets mad at me, and is on the verge of telling me to leave, its not my house, and the live-in girlfriend comes out of a room and guides the yelling young lady into the bedroom and shuts the door. I wake up.

Here's an online dream dictionary entry on dreaming about dogs: dreammoods.com/cgibin/dreamdictionarysearch.pl?method=exact&header=dreamsymbol&search=dogIt does seem like more than a coincidence that this little white dog in your dream resembles your real white dog. Your description reminds me of my grandmother's teacup poodle named Little Bit (short for Bit** of course- she was affectionately named by my grandfather lol...) She only had a couple of teeth left too. She passed away shortly before my grandmother passed away. I don't know what to make of the underground fairies dreams- sorry I haven't visited this thread in awhile, and I'm sad to see that nobody else commented on here either... Perhaps your subconscious mind is craving a sense of belonging? That's what my take on it is at least... ~shrug~

That second dream also sounds kind of like one where you want to go home...being trapped in a strange house even if temporarily...while waiting for your new house to be finished. It's the same theme over and over again. Now we just have to figure out what it means. Didn't Paulette also have a dream recently about underground fairies? Or was it just fairies? I think I remember you even commenting on it, Jc.

We moved right before Thanksgiving and I feel like I am Home. Whether the dogs got that vibe from me, or me from them, who knows? When I moved in with my folks 4 yrs. ago, my little dog moped around for a long time. I'll never forget it.

Since I've been in the new home, my "dream-life" is flourishing again. More than just about finding home. I had my third "drunk dream" this week. This one wasn't so bad. It was just a remake/redo of hanging out with some friends in my twenties . I've got to remember how sensitive I am. You should have seen the amount of alcohol (unopened) stored in the 3 car garage here, when I came for the final house inspection! Also, I've seen my former husband a lot lately (due to our daughters' recent surgery) and he is always drunk or hungover. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ I don't know how much I will share of my other dreams. A lot of bizarre stuff happens. About an hour ago, I woke up from a stupid, different dream, to remember what I dreamed about when I first fell asleep. When I first fell asleep, someone was teaching me about "The Book of Jasher". ? Huh? I just looked it up on the internet, and gosh! there is such a thing . . . . I must have heard about it somewhere . . . .

I remember somebody else once dreaming about a certain book and looking it up and finding out it really did exist. Can't remember the name of the book or who had the dream though. That was many, many moons ago.

Wow! I remember another dream. This makes two in one month. I don't remember one in 17 years . That is how far back I have to go . This is excluding my earthquake dreams of course. Those dreams are long like a vision. This here on top of everything else was a ufo dream. There was some big event going on like a war had ended and everyone was in the streets celebrating.
I decided to walk home from the celebrations. I was going to the house I grew up in. When I got to my neighbors old house.. there was three bright yellow flat pades in the sky . like a happy face. they were about the size of the full moon. They were not in a triangle but in a straight lined space not too far apart and only about a thousand feet up. Then here comes this craft it was long in shape . I could only see the bottom of it as it lowered itself down ward. It came down slowly and out came three round rings compartments coming down from the bottom they were a perfect fit size for the yellow pads is all I can call them.
Then the yellow pads seem to glow brighter yellow. I ran in to get a camera and as I came back out on the front porch I looked up quickly trying to get down the steps without taking my eyes off this ship. It changed in appearance it went into a triangular shape I mean the three compartments did and the yellow disc things started to fade. They to had changed into a triangular pattern. It raised up slowly as I was trying to get my camera ready. I never seen a actual shape of the entire craft, only the bottom of it.. Soon as I raised my camera and snapped it as it went up so slowly . Bamm!! it was gone. I did get the photo. People had joined me by then speaking mumble is all I heard . then I woke up.. Never made since except I believe it was getting charge by these yellow floating pads. I have never heard of a witness seeing anything to this effect. If one here does please let me know.

lois... i believe your dreams are astral projections or out-of-body experiences and you interpret them as strange dreams... Could be but I never though of myself having out of body experiences . All I know is I wake up in bed from it.. to go back to sleep and continue the same dream , I have not done since childhood. I have dreams which I do repeat over and over. . but they do not continue. Thanks for the suggestion. Gives me something to consider. I listen to other people tell their out of body experiences which I could never relate to. Even now I'm not quite sure what it means or how one knows for sure.

I listen to other people tell their out of body experiences which I could never relate to. Even now I'm not quite sure what it means or how one knows for sure. I think that sometimes the dream experience feels so real, that its worth it to consider that its a OBE (out of body experience). In the past month or so, I read the book "divergence". Got turned on to it by seeing a preview of the upcoming movie "divergence", right before I saw "the Hobbit" at a movie theatre. Now, the writer wasn't as emotional, or detailed, as when I read "Hunger Games" (that book blew me away!), but from the preview, and the story-line, this movie "divergence" has some real potential. I'm drawn to it because, part of the story is the characters doing individual virtual reality scenes. I don't want to give away the movie any further . However, sometimes I feel that my "dreams" are virtual reality, and I'm being "trained" or in a special, take-your-time learning process. I know, creepy. I've talked about this idea before . I'm a little more comfortable talking about certain dreams, because some of our members have been willing to share that they are involved in law enforcement . Some members have shown tendencies to be very much against "cops", in general. I just guess that I am "good-cop-minded". I've had two more dreams lately about being one. They are so real; like even leaving, and others leaving, at the end of our work shift. However, they are futuristic in tone (I don't know if you all recall my big dream about this at Mufin) and the person I am in these dreams is myself, but in terrific physical and mental shape (can't claim that right now!). They feel "futuristic" because of the weapons I am holding, and there is obvious telepathy between the other policemen and I. Enough for now.

Through out my life I have either been in the past or in the future in dreams . I must not like my day today living. I as child also dreamed about being half animal half human. Some part of me had to be influence by animal. Not anyone animal but all kinds of animal . Bears, lions . monkeys . Once i dreamed of an old woman which was only a little over a foot tall. She had white hair and was smoking a cig. but her feet were paws pushing back and forth on the floor to rock the rocker. and behind the chair was a very long fluffy tail hanging down to the floor. What craziness could made this dream happen. ?
Those dreams were not future or past. Just the past twenty years I have not been able to remember dreams at. Why now has this changed while my daily living I do not remember what I did a few minutes before.
I have had dreams about Cops quite a bit. Won't go into it now..

Oh Sky! I don't know why You are so harassed! And, cops DO harass people. So I really, honestly don't want to be lumped in with that crowd (besides having to shoot someone at times would really s_ck). So, you might say I'm pretty disturbed by these dreams.

My dream (sometime early this morning) : I'm sitting on these large rocks in the very back of my yard (the old house I just moved from, and has still not sold ). It is a beautiful, clear day; must have some cloud cover because I can comfortably look at the expanse of sky above me without squinting. I'm content. A "jet plane" approaches quickly from the West; North West. Put your hand in front of your face, point your index finger, and you could cover up the jet (in your sight) with the end of your finger. But as the "jet" flies directly overhead, it is closer to the ground than I thought. It becomes huge in my sight! It has the appearance of a Stealth plane, and as I wonder at this (a "Stealth" over my house?) it changes as it goes past me, and I'm turning my body to keep watching it. It's more of a oblong diamond shape. wait! It's breaking! Now it's in 5 pieces, smaller, but identical to the original. And it stops in mid air, does some unbelievable turn, becomes "one" plane again, flies over me and past me again, and "breaks" again! And it has this blazing blue light glow around it the moment it "breaks" (or transforms). With "5 planes" coming towards me for the third time, I decide I'm going inside. As I'm walking about 50-75 feet to the back door of the house, I'm having this Inner Dialog, "Ok, this is really happening. . . I'm not dreaming. . . I should remember this. . . " (and) . . "How many times is this (alien planes flying overhead) going to happen? before,. . . What ?" I'm acutely aware that these are not regular jet planes (though at several times and maneuvers they continued to look as such), I'm feeling the beginnings of a sense of foreboding (that I'm slightly struggling with to keep as small feelings), and actually touching my own arm and telling myself this is no dream. Almost to the back door. .. I wake up at my new house in my new bedroom.

Lately I've had one or two of those dreams where I'm telling myself I'm dreaming but it seems particularly real. Nothing about planes though. Maybe it is a true memory you've triggered that at one time you were supposed to forget.

Thanks Jo for your input. I have had way too many of these type "dreams" in the last six months, of many alien ships above my home. As we all know, I still see an occasional unusual "ship" above my home, anyway, so why would I (or someone else) hide this from me, only to be recalled later? Because there is actually more in numbers? Or, more than a "sighting" happens? IDK. If I am just now subconsciously acknowledging deep-seated fears of invasion or disclosure, man am I really slow! On first glance, I tend to go with your idea. Many things have been revealed to me in dreams. But in this dream, and other recent ones of lots of ships, I am myself, in my present form, present age. This is odd in itself, because it was rare that I was outside in the yard of this house unless I was working the yard. I could sit other places. . . . which is also odd, because my former yard was over the years quite tastefully landscaped as a garden to sit in. As a youngster I rode my bike through the back lawn, played crochet, and shot basketball, but seemingly, one day that playing in the back yard abruptly stopped. ? IDK about these recurring dreams content, and feeling so real.
