And I'd love to hear about the messages you're getting . Either I'm not dreaming since those two nights I recently mentioned, or I'm not supposed to remember, or dreams were so mundane that I'm not bothering to remember . Any old way, I like it. Sleep is peaceful just lately and I'm even turning off all the lights!

Actually the messages I'm getting are things moving in my life right now..they wouldn't mean much to anyone else but in context they are so precise it's amazing. I've been reading tarot cards for 30+ years..they are to me an extension of my subconscious and one tool I use when I read for others. My habit is to always read for myself before bed..a 'heads up' of any creepy things on the horizon or things I need to be more focused on. Lately..instead of being a bit abstract as they usually are (hinting a LOT) they are more exact. If something is going to happen for instance with my daughter and her boyfriend..now I get both of their cards together and the next one will be either some celebration card or a caution card..something like that. If I get the card that represents me next to her boyfriend..I absolutely will see him or hear from him the next day. That's how I mean the messages have changed..they have never been that precise. I have some tie to the Archangel Gabriel..I have since I was a child (probably before) but he's comfortable to me..thinking of him always brings a smile and a very warm feeling. His is a 'comfort' card and I've been drawing it daily..usually next to mine but it's a strong reminder that everything is fine..it's ok no matter how I might feel otherwise or I'll wake up at 4:44 in the morning which is a sign of archangels and ascended masters wanting you to know things are ok..they are working as they are supposed to...and to quit OVER THINKING it. I have a tendency to do that if things are not moving forward..and they haven't been in quite awhile..for me anyway. I'll then also draw the cards for patience. I am about the worlds least patient feature ;D I also have a 'rushed' feeling lately..(bad timing when healing from a surgery) but I keep finding myself speeding to get things done like I'll run out of time and that's just plain dumb. I can't seem to 'settle' down right now...I'm accelerated

The angel of death seems to be quite fond of me, I dream about him sometimes. Methinks Azrael has a crush on me or something... A lot of my premonitions are about death and destruction and I think Mr. skull face has something to do with that... You would get one of the archangels, wouldn't you Jo? ~giggle~

The "rushed" feeling I understand . I say my sleep is very peaceful, and it is, but while awake I have this underlying anxiety that I can't make heads or tails of . It might quite possibly have to do with the tetracycline I've been on for a month. . . Thanks for answering Jo! Things could also be possibly more precise now that you have that clogged duct (gallbladder) out of your body! ;D I'm curious, to anyone, If the "way" I am sleeping is now a product of finally being caught up on sleep. Being off work in the summer months, and no big problems this summer with my kids or my folks, I just go lay down for a bit whenever I'm drowsy. I go in my room, shut the door, and it might be 15 minutes, or it might be 2 hours before I get up again. During that time, its not my usual head hit the pillow and crash, kind of sleep. It's more like a quiet rest of thinking to myself and time just passes. Almost like not being asleep, except I do have the sensation of waking up, but like a "twilight"; I just roll over and lay there a little longer, and if I don't go back to sleep, I generally get up. It's slowly becoming that way in the mornings also . I wake up, and I'm awake; no terrible brain "fog".

If it gets any more precise it'll include braille... ;D It morphed into 'tarot for dummies' about a month before the surgery ..and I haven't felt any other changes yet. It takes awhile for my system to kick anesthetics but so far all I've noticed is a whole lot of missing pain YIPppppieeeee for that I notice the pain from the surgery..especially if I push myself too hard but it's nothing like the pain I had before. Win-win

It is to me I do find myself being in a hurry (as I said) like I'm in the middle of some calf roping contest tying up the legs for time I want to jump up with my hands clear so they can stop the clock. I know...freaky analogy but pretty close to how I feel. Like I have to be tying up things...standing clear. Some bizarre race no one's explained the rules of yet. I just can't seem to slow down and relax. Warp 12 Captin..an she's breakin up...damit Scotty...push it Sulu.. Yep..the mind is the next thing......

Last night was a bizarre night. I know part of it was definitely a dream. So I'm just going to claim that the whole thing was a weird dream. I've been sleeping with no lights on. The room is black and I even have the fire alarm with no batteries (no gleaming red light on metal on the ceiling). I have a wall clock that ticks rather loud, but has no light. My cell phone is my alarm clock. I have room- darkening shades also, so it doesn't get much light in there at all. Sometimes I have even been putting an extra pillow over my head (I'm laying on my side) to try to keep out "morning sounds". And it has been so cold that I am generally wrapped up in 2 comforters most of the night. I guess I feel pretty confident with my dog in there with me, and my big dog in the garage just below me. Last night I left my dog just outside my bedroom door. I can hear him bump lightly against the door. I was being kind of selfish. The night before, he tried to sleep directly on my legs and I had kicked him off a few times, and I felt bad for that. This is also nice to have him outside my door, because he barks at anyone who shows up at our house. If he's in the room with me, and I'm sleeping in, he just makes some mild noise when the door bell rings, and I just tell him "good boy" and we go back to sleep. ;D I woke up last night at what I knew MUST be the middle of the night. Don't have any idea why, and it wasn't a night that I had to get up. I wasn't afraid. I recall turning on the backlight of my cell phone to see how long I had to sleep left. It was 2oo am and my alarm was to go off at 6oo am. I remember laying down my cell phone, its light went off, and I contentedly turned onto my right side. Then, there was this really loud "knocking". It went on for at least 6-8 hard knocks, so I was able to lay there and try and determine the sound. I think it repeated, and again, I was just trying to figure it out. It crossed my mind that this is what may have woke me up. It sounded like someone rhythmically pounding the underside of their car to get chunks of ice off. But their car sounded like it was made of wood. I had time to figure out it was not knocking on the side of my house, or the front door, but the sound was also close to sounding like someone hitting "siding" of a house with a heavy object. I tried to relate it to someone breaking into one of our cars in the driveway, it sounded that close, but that wasn't it. Suddenly, I recalled that my sister had said that she is waking up every night at 300 am (diag. across the hall from me), so I turned over and looked at my cell phone again and it was 3:25 am. Huh? Maybe I had fallen asleep for a bit. I layed on my back straining for more noise. I never fall asleep on my back . I must have this time, because I started dreaming that my pillow my head was on was getting bigger, and actually "swelling up" around my head, to where I was sinking in it and was frightened that I'd be smothered. I guess I couldn't move at all to help myself, or I knew this situation was really bad, because I telepathically called out to Jesus Christ that I needed His help! The pillow immediately shrank down to normal size. I can't remember anything else! I've tried. I know I dreamed more, because my alarm woke me up at 6 and 6:30, and I usually wake up on my own a few minutes before. I thought to ask my sis if she heard any noises after 2:00 am last night. No, but she was awake from 2:00 am to 5:30 am, and doesn't know why. Parents were around a lot this evening, so we haven't had more time to talk about this.

Well this definitely sounds like something worth speaking to her over. I hope you get a chance to do so soon... nothing like not knowing other people's take on what went on in the same area of time that you've experienced something. Keep us posted.

Another dream, I had last night, just to remind everyone how weird my dreams are. And before I forget it . I dreamed that I was a hanging around with a good friend. It was like I had known her for a long time . She was tall(at least 1 1/2 foot taller than me), and winowy, and had just past her shoulders all-one-length brown hair. Brown eyes. (It didn't even strike me as odd that I was hanging-out with a model .) We were trying to "get in" to see her father. It was something about trying to help one of her guy friends get his support. Her dad was very wealthy, and had buildings, and we went to one that he was supposed to be at. It was nice; all chrome and clean, but the elevator area wasn't anything different, or special; typical waiting for elevators type of space. Oh, red carpet. There were landings and such, just around from the elevators. It had a homey, hotel kind of feel (think "radisson") but it was a business office. We looked for him at the private penthouse, and he had another private section downstairs; marked as "O" in the elevator. Like, elevator numbers going down, 3,2,1, L (lobby of course), "O", then B. Nothing sinister. We just kept missing him. It wasn't a big deal for us (the norm ), but she had really wanted her dad to meet with her friend, and a male business associate informed us that several people had been waiting to meet him, and he had just left in his private jet . The man just met us in the hall downstairs; not at a desk or anything. If you were able to get off the elevator at "O", there wasn't a desk out with someone to greet you. That was farther down the hall, with a heavy garage-door type admittance (think steel-trap doors). Anyway, we had access to all parts of the building and had hidden, secret ways to get everywhere. (I realized this later as we went through areas like a restraunt that were crowded-but it was no big deal). We ending up shopping in a large mall area, that was in the building. It looked like a regular, large mall, with some steps and some escalators. I had a good time with my friend . (Even good times have an element of suspense in my dreams, though ;D). At one point, towards the end of the dream, she pulled out a joint (yes, I know what they look like). It was not a "rolled cigarette", and she just whipped it out, it became lit, and she started smoking it. She knew better than to offer it to me ( ), we were still walking around (not at the mall) at a fast clip, and met up with her guy friend by accident, he took a couple of puffs, gave it back and off we went again. It did dawn on me that neither of us had a lighter, and I asked her about this. She was also able to make the joint "go out" immediately, like when we passed some kids. I also didn't smell it, but at first I was concerned about how openly she was smoking . She didn't talk down to me, it was the "latest thing", and her dad had something to do with its developement. I got to look at it closely, and it just looked like what it was, and now it was brown with resin, and smaller than when she started. She explained that it had some sort of technology that it could be lit from anywhere , I WAS thinking remote control/someone else lights your cig. ;D, and she got a laugh out of that, but she didn't know how to explain it. I asked her about "smart nano particles" and she had no idea. I asked her, that since the "cig" was getting smaller, was she ingesting these "technologies"? That gave her pause. I was concerned enough that I didn't want her smoking it, and we talked about her also sharing it with her friend. The dream ended with us shopping at the mall.

That last dream is harder to explain than the night before, IMO ;D. but the second dream is more like me just filling up my mind with frivolous stuff while I sleep. I mean, all kinds of stuff from my day could have been added into the second dream, and that would be the norm. Electronic (?) cigs? I did get some pamphlets on them once (still have the urge to smoke at times ) but didn't read them, and basically forgot about it. The first dream is more bothersome. I don't quite "trust" my sister yet , and "wary" of what she brings to our home. For one, she was able to get a restraining order from her husband (sound familiar?) and I determined the noise was NOT him messing with her car. But two outdoor lights on our house are suddenly out. The one above the garage door, and the patio light right outside the back door (we do have two other large, bright lights out back). I will change them today, though we still have plenty of outdoor lights (as my dad says), and I can bet money that they have not been humanly tampered with. Very odd. I have not told my sis about the lights. I talked to her again (about an hour ago) about the night before. I am believing that it was all a dream, because the noise was so loud, and neither of my dogs barked. She didn't hear a thing, just was awake, as she said before. If I talk about my sis more, I wll probably do it on my personal thread.

I heard loud knocking sounds once while I was out camping. It sounded like somebody was banging on the hood of my car but there was nobody there. I'm pretty sure it was eight knocks in rapid succession. I was awake when that happened too so I know it wasn't a dream.
Whitley Streiber also talked about knocking sounds in the book he wrote after Communion. The first part of the book was all about people who had heard those weird knocks.

Ya know, it was like 8 knocks . It wasn't rapid though; more like a "steady succession". It was so wooden sounding, that searching for ideas of what it was, I entertained the idea of nails being pound into an old coffin ;D. Nope, that's not it either. The last (2) nights (Friday nite and Saturday nite) I have willfully stayed up past 3 a.m.. Everything's quiet. This morning at 9:00 a.m. I had to put my husky back in because he was incessantly barking. He trotted right into his kennel . It is a beautiful sunny day of 29 degrees, and his coat is fully grown in. I've been putting on my coveralls and taking him for hour long walks, even right after I get off work, so I don't know what's up. I remember you talking about those knocks, Sky. It sounded just like the material of the hood of your car? Other knocks I have heard, have been, like, 3 short "knocks" on the side of the house, or window. Enough to make me notice a difference other than the house or pipes creaking . I changed those bulbs yesterday. The one over the garage was a regular "house" bulb that I had changed in the last month. I replaced it with one of those long-lasting bulbs . My mom couldn't remember the last time we had changed the lights over the patio. Because the long-lasting type floodlights are so expensive, I just replaced one of these lights this past summer (the one of 2 that was out). Yesterday, when I checked this light again, both floodlights over the patio were out. I took one new bulb up there with me (climbed out on the roof ) and the one I changed out had paint around it from 3-4 yrs. ago. I changed it and went back downstairs, and now both lights came on . As a matter of interest, these bulbs sit adjacent to the window were my sister is now sleeping. There's a little ledge there, but that window to that room can only be reached by a tall ladder. Anyway, these particular lights, light up the corner near the back door. The glass panelled back doors, so it was worth it. .

I remember you talking about those knocks, Sky. It sounded just like the material of the hood of your car? Yup. It sounded just like somebody banging on the hood either with their fist or a stick or something. I looked out of my tent but there was nobody there. That was that same night I heard the invisible footsteps and the weird noise that made my ears ring. Something weird was definitely going on that night.

I don't know what was happening the night that I heard 3 tapping sounds (while having a dream that a grey being was at my window knocking ) on my window. One of our dogs heard it too and responded with a bark in the middle of the night which they rarely do unless something is up. It woke me up out of a sound sleep. I then heard it again ( 3 taps) and got up and investigated by opening the front door of our other house we had and if anybody was there I would have seen them from that vantage point. While I was looking out the front door Kelly, who also was awakened by 3 tapping noises hollered at me asking me what it was. She said she heard it while I was standing there at the door and I should have noticed what caused it but there was nothing there. This never happened before or since. It was after I had brought it to y'alls attention that you guys mentioned it happening to some of yourselves and others . I find this mysterious and too coincidental.

What ever was tearing down our home with a loud bang shook the whole house. It came back at three am for five nights. My kids then were all teenagers. They were frantic. Hope it is the only time you have to hearthis Cliff. Some times it is maybe even sinister . Keep safe. take a club to bed with you. You cannot fight what you cannot see. I told this awful thing at the door on the fifth night at three am as I stood a few feet from the door. You can not enter this house, it is a house of Jesus Christ and he dwells within these walls. It never happen again. It was scary some of the sounds it made was worse than the Movie the Exorcists.. yet nothing was outside our home..Nothing as we went out and investigated one night in the freezing snow. 1981 or 82.

Bad Dream. Alarm woke me out of at 5:30 this morning.
The dream was all over the place and in bits and pieces.
I was sleeping (in my dream) in the bedroom at the house I shared with my former husband. My sister and her husband came in that bedroom and woke me up, and just started discussing personal business with me there, as soon as I sat up.
So the rest of the dream was like I was half-asleep. It was intense but hazey; my brain felt foggy, as if I couldn't quite figure out what was going on.
My sister and I were at a small gathering, swimming at like an apartment size swimming pool. No children around. My sister is complaining to me that no one will talk to her after every time she mentions Jesus.
Suddenly, everything goes dark, and my sister's husband is standing there in priestly robes. He preaches coherently 2-3 meaningful sentences. Then he just stands there and smiles. Turns himself as if looking at different parts of a large crowd, and just smiles. His smile becomes weird, and is frozen on his face; he turns into a comical maniquin of himself. ____________________________________________________
I'm afraid, uncomfortable, throughout most of this dream.

I was dreaming last night and it was in the past too..people either dead or long past from my life and things that didn't make sense..like taking a ride from someone I don't personally know...then walking with my daughter back to where we were before we accepted the ride. I also don't seem to be able to get enough sleep lately..I'm sleepy all the time and negative even though things are not bad in my life. I'm angry at myself for not being able to kick this..and I'm afraid the need for sleep is depressive behavior. I've never been depressed.

I'm angry at myself for not being able to kick this..and I'm afraid the need for sleep is depressive behavior. I've never been depressed. The winter months tend to make a person depressed- especially up here in the frozen North due to lack of sunlight. I suggest taking a vitamin D supplement... it will help I'm sure. I was in a horrible mood last week and my co-worker told me to take some vitamin D. There is a new beverage called Nuvo which we sell at the store and one of them is called "Sun". It has 200% of the daily value of vitamin D3 in it. I drank one of those bad boys and in three hours I was feeling 1000% better. Stress could also make you want to sleep a lot. I know I get this way once a month too- where I just want to sleep all day... Lack of vitamin D... post holidays depression... stress... hormones... Could be any or all of these... ~hugz~

I'll give vitamin D a shot..although usually winter is my very favorite time of the year...my system may be changing around. Fooey though if I am going to dream..I want some spectacular thing on another planet (preferably a gorgeous one and not some inferno) and of course..I want it to make sense LOL

I don't...but when I do..it's the most boring junk in the universe I do the same things in a dream that I do in reality. No flying..no planet hopping or nightmares or anything...maybe that's why I don't do it often..I bore myself

I'm with some one then in a snap I'm somewhere else doing something . with another person. Dreams that are just scramble thoughts. I have not been sleeping myself. Wake up all night long for no reason. I'm tired all day long and sleepy as well. It is depressing. I remember those boring ones but not important ones. Like last week, I was dreaming I was looking at a huge ufo, I never dream about ufos. This thing was breaking up over head people were running in all directions but there was much more to this that I can't remember. This part I know is much worse than that ufo but it did have to do with it some how. I never post dreams. I forget before my feet ever touch the floor. My doctor has me on D3 for my bone health. But it is also good for the immune system. Been on it three years now . I have not had a cold for three years but then when I got home from the cape last week I got a cold. . My daughter was off work with a bad one. She was hugging me and touching things on the table I touched all morning. I went and washed my hand with germ killing soap before we left.. Not that day or the day after but two days later I was so sick. I think when you are alone . You don't go to work You don't have kids in school . A husband who has retired and does not go around other workers anymore. One will find out he does not catch winter colds and chest cold and sore throat. But it could be the D3. ;D It sure does nothing for helping you sleep or feeling tired. I wake up at the sound of a pen dropping on the carpet. ;D

I been itching to tell this dream as I have never even told my husband. This will be for a laugh only. ;D It was years ago I had this dream. My girlfriend and I were walking toward the downtown area . we were in a quiet neighborhood as we walked along . I do not remember our conversation. but soon we were almost to the commercial area of town. I said .. and I will never for get it."We are almost there. I guess I will put my bra back on" .. ;D ;D I then realized I was wearing nothing from the waist up. Then I woke up. How dumb is this? ;D ;D If that dream had a meaning all crazy dreams would have one. It is not me at all.

While it gave us all a good laugh, I'm sure to you it was quite "traumatizing" as AuntyM said...all joking aside though, dreams of us naked usually are a sign of an insecurity or fear of some sort. Was there something about this area that made you feel uneasy in any way perhaps? :/ I have had this type of dream too, once right before I was to speak on stage in front of an audience of many for the first time, in my dream I showed up naked and everyone was frowning on me for my undignified appearance/behavior. It was just a serious case of nerves of course. Fear of messing up in front of all those people. But I have studied dreams since then and learned that most often it is derived by a fear of something, so maybe this will help you to analyze your situation at that time in your life, or in the dream your location, etc. By the way, don't blame you for not sharing it with your husband, sometimes the significant other just doesn't understand. Very embarrassing to say the least. But, thanks for sharing with us. It's good to see you so comfortable with opening up, and baring all!
