This is what the scientists are saying: The "image" of the solar flare hitting mercury was forged together using two days worth of images... the circle that appears when the solar flare hits is probably Mercury where it was the day before. Say WHAT??! How can a solar flare make Mercury from yesterday appear? And... WHY were they "editing out" light in the images to begin with?

Beats the heck out of me. I'm still trying to figure out what electronically charged material is. I guess you have to be a scientist to understand some of this scientific stuff.
