[7:15] F-86 Sabre X 4 (wingtip watch, flying cover) (1)(i)
[7:08] stationed at Carswell Air Force Base (1)(w)
Willingham estimated the object was traveling at 2000 miles per hour, and he saw it make a sudden 90-degree turn. As the UFO skewed toward the Texas-Mexico border. (5)
[2:34] It was coming across there and it made a 90 degree turn at 2000 miles per hour. (4)(w)
[2:45] There was a lot of sparks it looked like and it tilted down about a 45 degree angle till it hit the ground. (4)(w)
Willingham received permission to break from formation and pursue the object in his F-86 fighter. (5)
Chased nocturnal UFO that crashed at Langtry, Texas, Mexican side. (1)(w)
-Circled crash site,
[1:45] Anyway I got down there where I could see what I wanted to see and got out and come back up and picked my B-47 up and they were going to the state of Washington and I told them i have to get out of here and go home. (4)(w)
[2:10] So they went on to Washington, the state of Washington and another fighter escort picked them up there about the line of Arizona. (4)(w)
[2:20] and I turned around and went back to Fort Worth and then I got in a small plane and went down there where that thing looked like it crashed. (4)(w)
[4:32] Willingham says he and a co-pilot returned to base [Carswell AFB] and began searching for the UFO (1)(i)
[7:36] Got in car and went dow to Corsacana, Texas. Picked up a light aircraft. (1)(w)
[4:18] I went back, put my aircraft up and went over to the CAP place and picked up a light aircraft and we flew it down there. (4)(w)
[6:21] Recovered debris: yellow tint, silver, looked like it was made out of stainless steel, holes on one side of debris, the size of a regular man's hand. (4)(w)

[5:20] It wasn't too far from "Judge" Roy Bean's property. (4)(w)
[3:49] That it crashed south of Del Rio. -- Reporter Richard Ray (2)(i)
