This may be the stunt team that was flying around the Kansas City/ Lees Summit area on Halloween night, Oct. 31 st, 2011 . Im not certain whether or not the team flew that night but this is decent footage of whatever it was they were filming. The description at the bottom of the video is interesting also.

This case is from yesterday out of Warrensburg not too far from K.C. It is similar to the sighting I had a few months ago.
Case Number 36949 Log Number US-03272012-0049 Date Submitted 03/27/2012 10:35 UTC Date of the Event 03/26/2012 08:45 UTC Source MUFON Disposition Unresolved Summary 3 balls of orange light traveling in a V formation being trailed not far behind by flashing strobes Tags lights Sighting LocationCity Warrensburg Region Missouri Country United States Latitude 38.805211 Longitude -93.768303 Location Resolution Rooftop Sighting SpecificsViewing Distance Over One Mile Sighting Duration 00:01:00 Object Features None Object Flight Path Undisclosed Object Shape Star-like, Triangle Weather Factors Unknown Sighting Details
It was 8:45pm when I was sitting on my deck when I saw three orange shaped orbes being trailed by flashing strobes. I went in the house to get my wife and kids to look at it. They too witnessed it. The whole formation was moving from east to west. I said to them what is all the flashing lights following the orange orbes. My wife and kids just brushed it off thinking it was some sort of military crafts but I did not think so. We do live near Whiteman AFB and Skyhaven but that was not it. The movement of the objects were moving slower than a helicopter, jet or plane.

Those do look like small planes flying in formation. It very well may be the stunt team. I couldn't help but notice how... normal the witness sounded. She didn't sound like some tinfoil hat wearing nutball...she just sounded like a normal person with kids in the car trying to understand what they were seeing and saying that they weren't crazy. I like how the youngest kid kept saying that it was a bunch of airplanes. Sometimes the most obvious answer may be the correct one. Perhaps we should listen to children more often instead of trying to rationalize everything.

City Kansas City Region Missouri Country United States Latitude 39.281154 Longitude -94.727939 The latitude and longitude presented here is an approximation to protect the reporters identity
Sighting Specifics
Viewing Distance 501 Feet - 1 Mile, Over 1 Mile Sighting Duration Undisclosed Object Features Unknown Object Flight Path Path with directional change Object Shape Sphere Weather Factors Unknown
Sighting Details
Witnessed bright orange ball flying over my house approx 2000 feet altitude traveling east south east. Hard to gauge size but pretty good size, at least as big as an airplane. I had my wife come outside to see and she noticed another one farther away that had already passed over. They traveled in an east south east direction before turning more to the south. They appeared to be following each other. I would guess they were about a mile or so apart. We heard no sound at all, and the orange light was strong and constant. There were no other colors visible. After they turned in a more southward direction they seemed to increase speed considerably and climbed out of sight within a minute. We live close to MCI here in Kansas City and have never seen anything like this in 17 years here. I was also an Air Traffic Controller in the military so am familiar seeing all kinds of aircraft and this was nothing like anything I have ever seen. Clear night, no sound, no blinking lights, just looked like bright steady glowing orange balls that made controlled manuvers, then climbed and accelerated out of sight. Perhaps 2 minutes total viewing time.

They are being reported from several locations in the U.S. and I noticed some from Canada also. Since this is a Kansas City/Lees summit thread,,,Im going to look up how many sightings and locations of these orange objects during this time frame and start a new thread on them if I can see a trend happening.
