www.gq.com/entertainment/celebrities/201501/buzz-aldrinThe Dark Side of the Moon He was a war-hero fighter pilot. He was an MIT rocket scientist. He was a lot of impressive things, and then Buzz Aldrin went to the moon, which is maybe all you know about one of the most famous men on earth—a guy who's been frozen, like a footprint in lunar dust, in America's mind for forty-five years now. But the thing about Buzz is that he still wants way more than the moonBy Jeanne Marie Laskas Photographs by Pari Dukovic January 2015 "So how was it? How was...the moon?" You have no further questions. Because he went to the moon. And now he's sitting here, at your table in a dark and crowded D.C. restaurant. It's disorienting. The moon! The crescent and the eclipse, the waxing and the waning, the cheese—the lunar glow hanging right there, night after night on the periphery of your busy coming and going. No matter what your age, gender, politics, nationality, social or financial standing, every single person inhabiting the planet Earth has the same reaction to him. Holy crap, Buzz Aldrin, you went to the moon! You smile at him, your face opening the way every single face in the entire world opens when it encounters him. Because he is: Buzz Aldrin. And we are: mankind. He takes note of your smile, and just as quickly looks past you. It's the same way with everybody. It's your pregnant anticipation: I can't wait to hear the amazing synthesis of moon wisdom you are about to bestow upon me. He has no idea what to do with that. None. He's turning 85 this month. He went to the moon when he was 39. Mankind has been coming at him with your same smile ever since. What do you expect him to do with that? He orders the veal. He's wearing a lapel pin of his famous moon footprint in miniature, cast in pewter. He's wearing a tan corduroy jacket, a tie with pictures of planets all over it. He's wearing bracelets, big beads. Turquoise on one wrist and a string of translucent alien faces or something on the other. "And all of a sudden here's a rocket," he's saying, his voice low and gravelly, as he tries to make plain what landing on the moon can do to a man's life. "And you're gonna get on top of it and go somewhere. People are interested. People want to be able to put down in writing something about how you were feeling." He gesticulates when he talks, the bracelets clattering. "Look, we didn't know what we were feeling. We weren't feeling." The jewelry is distracting. There is more. A gigantic double watch, two faces fused together like heads on conjoined twins. There are gold rings, a moon, a star, diamonds, a pinkie ring, many rings. What is up with the jewelry? It's confusing. Wait, jewelry? CONTINUE READING: www.gq.com/entertainment/celebrities/201501/buzz-aldrin

Enroute to Soviet Solyut 6 Space Station April of 1979, Cosmonaut Victor Afanasyev lifted off from Star City to dock with the Soviet Solyut 6 space station. But while en route, something strange happened. Cosmonaut Afanasyev saw an unidentified object turn toward his craft and begin tailing it through space. “It followed us during half of our orbit. We observed it on the light side, and when we entered the shadow side, it disappeared completely. It was an engineering structure, made from some type of metal, approximately 40 meters long with inner hulls. The object was narrow here and wider here, and inside there were openings. Some places had projections like small wings. The object stayed very close to us. Victor Afanasyev, Soviet Cosmonaut We photographed it, and our photos showed it to be 23 to 28 meters away.” In addition to photographing the UFO, Afanasyev continually reported back to Mission Control about the craft’s size, its shape and position. When the cosmonaut returned to earth he was debriefed and told never to reveal what he knew, and had his cameras and film confiscated. Those photos and his voice transmissions from space have never been released. It is only now, with the collapse of the Soviet Union that Afanasyev feels that he can safely tell his story. “It is still classified as a UFO because we have yet to identify the object.” NOTE: The above image is a drawing of the object by the Cosmonaut. She also seen a flyover witha silver blue ufo. It was the largest one in this mass fleet. All shapes and sizes but the blue one draw me to it. I could not take my eyes off of it while my son was running back and forth across the house deck. Bright blue skies in this dream They were all about 200 feet in altitude . I do not remember any windows like this has.

Slowly the pieces of many peoples' stories came together. Are we are so neurotic than we crave attention by telling wild stories? Even astronauts? As Buzz is quoted in the first article - they were strapped into a rocket. They had to do a lot of things to stay alive. Thinking outside the box about other craft in space? No time and I can't even imagine a person getting into astronaut training who had the slightest history of being interested in, or having had experiences with UFOs.

www.mirror.co.uk/news/technology-science/science/peace-loving-aliens-tried-save-6235113 'Peace-loving aliens tried to save America from nuclear war,' claims moon mission astronaut Edgar Mitchell 11 August 2015 By Jasper Hamill Apollo veteran says UFOs came in peace on a mission to stop humanity destroying itselfThe sixth man to walk on the surface of the moon has made the astonishing claim that aliens came to Earth to stop a nuclear war between America and Russia. Edgar Mitchell, a veteran of the Apollo 14 mission in 1971, told Mirror Online that top-ranking military sources spotted UFOs during weapons tests. The astronaut has been outspoken about his belief in aliens ever since he landed on the surface of the moon, becoming one of the most prominent figures in the worldwide UFO community. He told us military insiders had seen strange crafts flying over missile bases and the famous White Sands facility, where the world's first ever nuclear bomb was detonated in 1945. Mitchell grew up in New Mexico near both the bomb testing zone and Roswell, where believers think one of the world's most famous UFO encounters took place. Edgar Mitchell: The sixth man to walk on the moon "You don't know the area like I do," he said in an interview with Mirror Online. "White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons - and that's what the extraterrestrials were interested in. "They wanted to know about our military capabilities. "My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth." Mitchell also suggested he had heard similar stories from people who manned missile bases during the most tense parts of the 20th century. "I have spoken to many Air Force officers who worked at these silos during the Cold War," he continued. "They told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles. "Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their [test] missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft. "There was a lot of activity in those days." We asked Nick Pope, a former Ministry of Defence UFO researcher, whether he believed Mitchell's claims. "Edgar Mitchell is an honourable and truthful man, who I've had the privilege of meeting," he said. "But so far as I'm aware, most of his information on this issue comes not from things he's experienced himself, but from things he's been told by others. "Clearly, because of who he is, he's had access to government, military and intelligence community personnel at the highest level, but because - quite understandably - he won't name his sources, we can't be certain these people were being straight with him, or indeed that they were privy to any classified information about UFOs." Major US media networks are picking up the story about Edgar Mitchell's remarks about aliens preventing nuclear war:************************************************************************ www.foxnews.com/science/2015/08/14/apollo-14-astronaut-claims-peace-loving-aliens-prevented-nuclear-war-on-earth/ Apollo 14 astronaut claims peace-loving aliens prevented 'nuclear war' on EarthFOX NEWS: www.foxnews.com/Published August 14, 2015 From “The Day the Earth Stood Still” to “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” to “E.T.,” pop culture is filled with stories about friendly, curious extraterrestrials visiting Earth to learn more about mankind. For Apollo 14 veteran Edgar Mitchell that plotline is less fiction than it is reality. The sixth man to walk the surface of the moon told Mirror online that he believes peace-keeping aliens visited our planet to prevent a nuclear war between Russia and the United States. The idea sounds far-fetched, but Mitchell claims that military insiders viewed strange flying crafts cruising over U.S. missile bases and the White Sands facility in New Mexico, the site of the first-ever nuclear bomb detonation in 1945. “They wanted to know about our military capabilities,” he said. “My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.” Mitchell, who grew up near the famous Roswell site in New Mexico, said that he has heard from various Air Force officers who claim UFOs were a regular site during the Cold War. “They told me UFOs were frequently seen overhead and often disabled their missiles,” he added. “Other officers from bases on the Pacific coast told me their (test) missiles were frequently shot down by alien spacecraft.” Some are understandably skeptical about this theory that diplomatic aliens have traveled the cosmos to disarm U.S. military weapons. “Given that the Universe is around 14 billion years old, if we’re being visited, it’s unlikely we’re dealing with a civilization just a few hundred years ahead of us, so stories of aliens managing to disrupt a few of our weapons tests are far-fetched,” Nick Pope, former Ministry of Defense UFO researcher, told Mirror online. “Chances are they’d be millions of years ahead of us and could do anything they wanted to.” CONTINUE READING: www.foxnews.com/science/2015/08/14/apollo-14-astronaut-claims-peace-loving-aliens-prevented-nuclear-war-on-earth/

www.ancient-code.com/apollo-11-and-ufo-encounters-what-astronauts-have-to-say/ by Apollo 11 and UFO encounters: What Astronauts have to sayIvan Petricevic Sept. 9, 2015 Apollo 11 has surely given us a lot to talk about ever since the historic moment a Saturn V rocket launched from the Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida, on July 16. ?Ufologists suggest that Apollo 11 traveled to the moon followed by numerous unidentified flying objects that were seen by the three members: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. In the book “Celestial Raise” written by Richard Watson, ASSK, 1987 there are some very interesting details which have led conspiracy theorists to suggest an otherworldly encounter took place on the surface of the moon, during the two minutes of silence while the astronauts were on the moon: “During the transmission of the Moon landing of Armstrong and Aldrin, who journeyed to the Moon in an American spaceship, two minutes of silence occurred in which the image and sound were interrupted. NASA insisted that this problem was the result of one of the television cameras which had overheated, thus interfering with the reception. This unexpected problem surprised even the most qualified of viewers who were unable to explain how in such a costly project, one of the most essential elements could break down… Some time after the historic Moon landing, Christopher Craft, director of the base in Houston, made some surprising comments when he left NASA. Ufologist and writer Timothy Good suggests that HAM radio operators receiving the VHF signals directly picked up the following message which was screened by NASA from the public.
