I really don't know what camera's he used. Some were terribly large to me.. some smaller.. he had one with the biggest lens I had ever seen..
Some camera's I paid no attention too as I was never with him . I went fishing with him at night in the park late. He never took one fishing. When he fished he fished and taking pictures never entered his mind.. we would always watch the sky when we went night fishing, and would talk about space..but never a camera was with us.

Strange Lights on a Foggy Night
I haven't done much investigating lately because I have been really busy at work...and because there hasn't been much to investigate. My paranormal life has been pretty normal lately. I am always ready to jump at the opportunity for a little excitement though.
A little while ago I was driving down the highway late one foggy night struggling to see where the heck I was going. The fog was as thick as peanut butter and I could hardly even see the road in front of me. As I was creeping along through the darkness I suddenly noticed some weird looking lights flashing off in the distance.
There was orange, red, yellow, green, blue and purple...alternating on and off, off and on...sometimes blinking rapidly, sometimes slowly. It was just a blurry blinking thing in the darkness and the first thought I had was that they were Christmas lights...but they seemed to be a little too high up in the air. They were pretty high above the tree tops...at least the trees that I could see anyway. It was hard to make out anything through the fog.
Like I said before, if there is even the slightest hint that there might be something unusual going on I am always ready to investigate so I pulled over to the side of the road and parked. I got out and headed off through the darkness, sloshed through a watery ditch, jumped a barbed-wire fence and trudged through a muddy field toward the weird colored blur that was blinking at me like a beacon on a foggy night...which it definitely was.
After slipping and sliding through the mud for several hundred yards I finally realized what it was that I had been looking at. It was a miniature blimp. There was a lighted LED display board on the bottom of it that was flashing out advertisements. From the side nobody could see what the ads were so it just looked like random blinking colors, but directly underneath the messages were plainly visible.
The blimp was tethered to a tree by a cable and was just hanging there in the air out in the middle of nowhere. I'm assuming it must have been making the rounds over some sports stadium somewhere and the pilot must have decided it was too foggy to make the journey home so he just parked for the night. It definitely was too foggy too.
I realize this isn't a UFO sighting but it was kind of unusual and I never would have figured out what it was if I had not gotten out and looked. I wonder how many other sightings would be solved if people would just put a little more effort into exploring their curiosity? I wonder how many other UFO sightings there might even be? Most people would have just driven by without even giving it a second thought. Imagine all of the weird things that may be out there that people never know about just because they don't stop and look.

I haven't posted anything here in a while because I haven't had anything interesting to investigate lately. Just the usual LITS and cases of mistaken identity. I've been pretty busy at work also so that cuts into my investigating fun time. I'm always keeping my eyes open for interesting cases though. I was recently at a truck stop talking to some people about UFOs when one of them showed me some pictures he had taken of what he described as weird colored lights that were hovering in the air. The pictures had been taken at a truckstop and showed a bunch of multicolored lights scattered all over the parking lot. The lights seemed to change color and move around from one place to another. I wasn't able to get copies of the photos from him so I had to pretty much leave it at that. A few days later I was sitting in a parking lot of another truckstop, typing on the computer and thinking about the video that Lois posted showing the orange orbs and the weird lights that moved across the screen. There were a lot of bright Christmas lights present in that video and I was wondering if maybe the camera might have been reflecting the lights somehow . I decided to take a few photos with my own camera of the bright lights in the truckstop parking lot to see what happened. Imagine my surprise when I looked at the photos and saw that there were a bunch of weird multicolored lights scattered all over the parking lot just like the ones the truck driver had shown me earlier. Here are three of the photos that I took... There appear to be a group of four lights that start at the left side of the photo and move across to the right... Notice how they also change color from yellow in the first photo to white and green in the last one. Since I did not see any weird multicolored UFOs hovering around in the parking lot when I took the pictures I was wondering what the heck was going on. Luckily, since I am the one who took the pictures and since I was sitting in my truck when I took them it was pretty easy for me to figure it out. The "lights" are actually drops of water on the windshield and the reason they appear to move from left to right is because I moved the camera slightly in each photo. It was pointing at the same thing just with a slightly different angle so the drops on the windshield moved while everything else in the photo stayed in the same place. The reason they appear to change color is because they were refracting light from different sources...first the yellow from the street lights, then later the green from the truckstop sign. I think that this is a perfect explanation for the photos the guy had shown me earlier because they looked almost identical. I know this isn't really a UFO case and it doesn't explain the weird lights in Shami's video since she said she was not filming through the window, but I thought I would post it anyway because it is a good example of how easily something like these photos could have been faked. If the windshield had been clean instead of dirty somebody looking at the photos might have thought that the "lights" actually were UFOs. Hoaxers can be pretty clever sometimes, and even the simplist little things like drops of water on a windshield could be used to fool people if they are not wary. Now I am going to get back to looking for interesting cases. Hopefully next time I will have some real UFO photos to share with you.

Yea, when I first looked at the pictures (before I got to your analysis paragraphs underneath it) I noticed that the orbs are matching the colors of the lights around them. (Orange street light, white truckstop entrance lights, green diesel price sign...) Wow. $3.18 for gas? I'm moving to Texas... lol... it's almost $4 up here...

Contrails or Chemtrails?I was driving through northern Ohio a couple of days ago when I noticed an unusual number of aircraft in the sky. There were planes zipping back and forth leaving contrails all over the place. At one point I saw six different planes criss-crossing in the same area, all coming from different directions. I was near the shore of Lake Erie at the time, and in the general vicinity of what Wright-Patterson Air Force base would probably use as an area to hold training maneuvers in so I suppose it wasn't beyond the realm of possibility that they could have been Air Force planes. They were much to high up to see what kind they were. I just thought it was kind of weird to see that many aircraft all flying in the same area and so close together. It was also a little strange to see so many contrails. At one point I counted more than thirty of them scattered all over the sky. There was something I saw that I did think was kind of weird though. I was watching this one aircraft that came streaking from the south leaving a long, thick contrail behind it that gradually tapered off. As I was driving along looking up at it I also noticed a dark gray cloud forming beneath the contrail. At first I suspected that it might be a shadow, since the sun was directly overhead, but the shape of the gray "shadow" did not really match the contours of the contrail. The gray part seemed a little more angular. It also seemed to be falling down away from the contrail. Actually, it kind of looked like rain streaking down out of the sky. Notice the gray shape that appears just below and to the left of the contrail in these two pictures? Can you see in the second photo how it appears to be falling away from the contrail up above it?In all my years of watching the skies I have never seen anything like that before. Is a contrail capable of producing rain? Is it possible it might have been a chemtrail instead? Chemtrails, according to the conspiracy theorists, are chemical or biological agents that are sprayed at high altitudes for a wide variety of possible reasons. Chemical or biological warfare, weather modification, population control, mind control...these are just a few of the many possible explanations put forward to explain the mysterious clouds that billow out from behind some aircraft. Of course the government dismisses the entire chemtrail theory as a hoax (just like it does with everything else), but when has the government ever told the truth about anything? I don't know if I believe the chemtrail theory to be true or not but anything is possible. I just couldn't help thinking about it after seeing that weird gray mist come falling down out of the contrail left behind by that plane. That was the only time that I saw it happen too. I didn't have time to stop and do a proper investigation so I really can't say for sure what it was. I doubt that I would ever be able to find out either since the only thing I could do would be to ask the government...and we all already know what that answer would be. Has anybody ever seen anything like this before? Are contrails capable of producing rain? Or could it have just been a shadow instead? As usual I have more questions than answers...

Hmmmmmm. In your series of pictures the sky starts off being blue with a few hazy clouds and ends up gray. I'm sure that hot exhaust does something to the environment of clouds even if not laced with unusual chemicals. Years ago I flew from Canada to Texas and between Colorado and Houston Texas the sky was wonderful paannama of culumus puffy clouds that formed all sorts of shapes and we were flying above them. Myself and an eight year old were the only people looking at the clouds that I could tell. But embedded in this fluffy white scene were dark clumps that looked like dust balls. I couldn't figure out how the clouds were forming white but specific bits were dark gray. Clouds are mysterious. I can tell you that it was brown over all the cities - not obvious from the ground perhaps but noticeable about twenty miles away in the sky. Sad.

The sky changes colors because I was driving down the interstate when I was taking the photos. Some of them I stopped to take and others I just held the camera out the window while cruising down the highway. (I know...as a professional driver I'm supposed to be setting a good example... :

I'll be camping out in Lampasas again for the next few days. This is the same location where I usually camp and I often experience cases of unexplained phenomena in that area. I set up my tent late last night and I have already had some weird things happen. I'll post more about it later today.

Don't forget the meteor shower - Saturday early am (1am - on) and Sunday. I wish I was camping out somewhere with a clear sky. We are with you (sorta) if you want to remember that. (guess it depends on how weird it gets).

Once again - sky began to haze over with a window overhead which gradually filled in. No meteorites noted. Lots of frogs singing though. I was out in the ountry - sleeping at a friend's house next to a second story porch - optimium conditions to watch the sky fall. Not this time.

I didn't get to see any meteors at all. It seems like it rains every night no matter where I am. That's not good for skywatching. I'll try to post about my recent camping experiences tonight if I have time.

Okay, I finally have a little bit of time so I can write about my little late night adventures when I was out camping. This is the same place that I usually camp at when I am out in that area. It's just a small 10 acre place outside the city limits so it is in a pretty rural area. There are lots of cedar trees and oak trees and other types of trees out there but not very many houses around, although there are a few scattered here and there. The nearest one is probably about 300 yards away from where I set up my tent. I couldn't see any of the surrounding houses from where I set the tent up and there aren't any lights out there so it gets pretty dark at night, which is the way I like it. It lets me see the stars and planets and UFOs better. This is the same location where I have had several weird experiences over the past several years. I've seen strange lights in the sky out there, like the orange orbs and one that looked like a small super nova that only lasted a few seconds then disappeared. I have also seen military helicopters doing maneuvers directly over me (while I was trying to sleep one night : . That isn't surprising because the largest army base in the country is only about 20 miles away and they do a lot of military training in the area. This land is also where I had the experience a few years ago where I heard some invisible footprints crunching right outside my tent but could not see what in the world was making them. That same night I heard somebody (or something) banging on my car, as well as a loud ringing sound in my ears that made dogs start barking their brains out so they heard whatever it was too. With all of these experiences I can definitely say there is something weird going on out there. I arrived out there late at night on Wednesday the 18th. It was probably about 11pm by the time I got my tent set up and since it was so peaceful and quiet I decided to sit out for a while and look up at the stars. The sky was pretty clear although there was just a little bit of a haze in some areas from some high flying clouds. After sitting out for about 30 minutes I didn't see anything unusual so I decided to go to bed. Just as I turned around to start walking to the tent I saw way off in the distance a really weird looking light. It looked kind of like a blurry star but it was sparkling all sorts of different colors. Red, green, blue, yellow...just sparkling all kinds of colors. it wasn't a plane because it wasn't moving...it just kind of sat there above the trees. I would guess it was at least a couple miles away so I really have no idea what it was. It might have been a UFO or it might have been something else but I have no idea what. As I was sitting there staring at it and wishing I had brought my telescope I suddenly heard a dog start howling at one of the nearby houses. ARRrrrooooooooo!! Pretty soon another joined in, then another and soon just about every dog in the city was howling away. It sounded like I was surrounded by a pack of bloodthirsty wolves. They kept it up for about five minutes before they quit. I've never heard the dogs in that area howl like that before and I have no idea what they were howling at. They weren't barking like they normally do (and they bark quite a bit...usually late at night when I am trying to sleep : . I don't know what that was all about and I don't know if it was related to the weird colored light or not. The light finally dropped down and disappeared below the horizon and I lost sight of it, and since the dogs quit howling I decided to go to bed. Later that night I had a dream about a UFO. This wasn't one of the nightmare type dreams that I usually have about sharks or aliens or whatever, it was just a strange UFO dream. I don't think it was a real experience or that it had anything to do with the sparkling light, although the dream may have been triggered by the sighting of the light. I'll write more about it later on my dream thread. The next night I didn't see anything unusual in the sky but I was kept awake all night long by weird sounds. There were bumping and banging sounds going on all around me. I keep a lot of my cars out there so there are probably some tree branches bumping up against them that might make some of the noises when the wind blows hard enough but that would not account for all of the noises that I heard. One of them sounded like somebody took a gallon paint can or something and bonked on it with a stick...just kind of a loud hollow "Bonk!" I have never heard anything like that out there before either. I got up a couple of times to walk around the yard to see if anybody was sneaking around out there but I could never find anything unusual. We have some game cameras set up out there also but nothing weird has ever turned up on them other than the stray dog or cat that comes wondering through every now and then. They probably took some good pictures of me wandering around. There have been several times now that I have heard weird unidentifiable noises, seen unidentifiable lights and heard the local dogs do weird stuff. It always seem to happen when I am out there either on that land or in the vicinity near Lampasas. Still don't have a clue what it means though other than there is something weird going on out there. I'll be out there again in acouple of weeks so the research will continue...

I'm kind of stuck in the middle of nowhere in Ohio for the weekend so I decided to check on the internet to see if there have ever been any UFO or ghosts reported in the area that I am in so I can have something to do besides sit here being bored out of my mind. I managed to stumbled across a written transcript of a conversation between police dispatchers and officers pertaining to a UFO sighting that occurred in Warren County back on April 24, 2001. www.rense.com/general10/inc.htmI thought the conversation was interesting for several reasons. The first is that the officers did not seem to have a clue what to do with a UFO report. They did not know who was supposed to investigate it, how it was supposed to be handled or what to do about it. Somebody finally suggested that they call a UFO reporting center but all of the numbers that they had were old and no longer in service. NUFORC was the first place that came to their minds to file the report (which kind of puts MUFON, the so-called largest UFO organization in the country, in their place) but when asked the phone number for it one of the officers guessed "MOO-FOO" which is obviously a mistaken reference to MUFON. They also mentioned that they were embarassed to make the call. UFO investigators need to do a better job of establishing a working relationship with local law enforcement agencies if they ever expect to be taking seriously. They also apparently need to get better at giving out contact info so that people will know who to call in the event of a sighting. Most people probably don't even give UFOs a second thought until they are confronted with one and that is when they will start looking for phone numbers and websites. Accurate contact and reporting info needs to be readily available to the public. The other reason why I found this conversation to be interesting is because the UFOs they are describing sound very similar to the one that I saw in Lampasas a week ago. The way I described it is "a really weird looking light. It looked kind of like a blurry star but it was sparkling all sorts of different colors. Red, green, blue, yellow...just sparkling all kinds of colors. it wasn't a plane because it wasn't moving...it just kind of sat there above the trees. I would guess it was at least a couple miles away so I really have no idea what it was." The police officers in the transcript described the thing they were seeing as brightly colored stars or discs. They said they were "just sitting stationary and blinking, I mean about five different colors" that looked "like an orange, kind of a blue, a purple and a red almost with a green. " They went on to say "it doesn't look like it's up as far as a star would be but it's higher than a plane would be, and it's stationary" and another officer reorted it as some "sparkling lights." That sounds very similar to what I saw in Texas a week ago. Peter Davenport at NUFORC suggested that what the officers in Ohio saw might have been a star but all of the witnesses were adamant that the objects they saw were not stars or airplanes. Some of them reported that they saw a plane in the area but that it was different from the UFOs they were seeing. It's possible that the sighting I had recently and the things the police officers in Ohio saw a decade ago were caused by the same type of aerial phenomenon...the question is, what could it be?

Check these photos out. These were posted by a member of another forum that shall remain nameless until the organization that runs it stops annoying the heck out of me. These pictures of Venus were taken on the night of April 17 by somebody using a handheld digital camera and when enlarged they show something really weird. Some grayish black object appears to be zooming through the sky.In one photo it actually appears to be luminated so that many details can be seen. The first two photos were both taken in about a minute's time using a 15 second exposure. There was then a ten minute delay and the last two photos were taken also using a 15 second exposure. ***************************************** This is the first photo that shows a black blur down at the lower left corner. This is the third one that shows a black blurry object in the upper left corner. Here is the last photo showing the same object a little higher up. The second photo which just showed a picture of Venus with no black blurry thing is the most interesting one. When enlarged it appears that there is something just on the left edge of the planet. Here is the enlargement. If you look closely you can see what appears to be colored lights around the edge of the object. Going counter clockwise from the top it appears the lights are red, yellow, (possibly) blue, white, and (possibly) green. I have been examining these to try to determine whether or not they are real, and if so, just what the thing is. Of course, just like with any photo or video there are always questions about the authenticity of it. I hate to have to say that but it is true. I've seen way too many fakes to ever be able to trust a photo or video completely. (Unless it's from one of the members here )

When viewing the planet Venus or taking pictures of it a person should only attempt to do so before it gets too dark because the planet is so bright that it will most likely turn out as a blur. This is the first photo that shows a black blur down at the lower left corner. [image] Read more: theedgeofreality.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=skywalker&action=display&thread=211&page=10#ixzz1xNvzQ7FX[/img]The 1st pic is the best one out of the 4 . It appears to be in focus whereas the others are not. The snowy effect around image one is the result of using a digital camera. The order of images 1,2,3, and 4 im referring to how they appear above . The (object) next to the planet is most likely either a star , a reflection off of the objective lens of the telescope or camera, a dust particle either on the objective lens( or mirror) of t-scope or camera or even dust on the eyepiece, or possibly even an aberration of the lens itself.Because of the brightness of the planet, it could even be a lens flare. Notice the (object) to the left in the 2nd and 3rd pics . Its form seems to have changed . Notice the planet Venus in these 2 pics also. You can see circles within the planet. This is a certain indicator that the image is out of focus. As a result, so is the ( object) to the left which seems to have changed form or shape. The 4th picture is the planet Venus which is badly out of focus . The "object" if I may call it that is the result of a dust particle either on the camera or telescopes objective lens (or mirrors) or on the eyepiece of the t-scope. It also could be caused by an aberration but I would lean to it being dust. Ive witnessed this many, many times in the past. Morgan when you get a chance take a pic through your scope of Venus with a digital camera before it gets dark. Try changing the focus and taking pics also with the planet in and out of focus. Also, do this before it gets dark and then again after when the planet is exceptionally bright and you'll most likely be left with the same type of images. Cliff

I'm investigating another abduction case. Probably won't be able to share many details of it because the witness wants to keep it confidential. I can say that the incident occurred just outside the Fort Hood military base in Texas and that the witness is the wife of a soldier stationed there. She doesn't want to make her story public because she is afraid there will be reprisals from the military. She also thinks the government is monitoring her computer.
It's a shame that people have to feel so paranoid about talking about their experiences but that is what it has come to with the situation the way it is in this country right now. Witnesses are still routinely harassed and ridiculed just because they want to tell the truth. It's not a good situation for anybody except the people who want to cover up the truth.
We'll have to see if anything interesting turns up.

She is pretty shook up about the whole thing. I guess waking up to find the unknown standing in your bedroom has a tendency to do that to people. It shakes the very foundations of everything they have been raised to believe, and thanks to the total lack of sympathy from society there is no place to turn for help...at least not without risking ridicule and humiliation. Stupid society.

There have been a lot of triangle UFO reports in the central Texas area recently. One of them was even reported over Killeen which is right next to Fort Hood where my abductee had her recent experiences. Is it just a coincidence that numerous UFOs show up right as some abductions start occurring? I recently read a report about another person who had an abduction experience in the same area. I haven't been able to contact them personally to talk about their experience because it was reported to another organization that refuses to release any info to the public...not that I would expect them to reveal a witnesses personal contact info. I wouldn't either. There appears to be something going on down here...which pretty much matches the increased activity we are seeing in other parts of the country.

Here are a few of the reports that have been turning up.
----------------------------------------------------
UFO Report ID:109537 My son and his friend witnessed two flying objects over Temple, Tx
Approximate Time of event: 2012-09-08 09:55 PM Local Time
Location: Temple, Texas, United States
My family and one of my sons friends were watching an outdoor movie in a city park. Shortly before the movie was over, my oldest son (12 yrs old) and his friend approached us and told us about a couple of objects they had just seen. They had been sitting in a separate location from the rest of our party. They described two objects that flew overhead. They said the objects were hard to see and based on what they said seemed to be semi-transparant with a distorting affect on the stars above. My sons friend described one as having a dotted or dashed outline. The descriptions of shape were various: (triangle, boomerang, "W" and "Y" shaped). Both objects followed a similar trajectory which I understood to be North to South. My sons friend described a wavy characteristic associated with one he described as "Y" shaped. They said the objects just faded or blended in with the sky. The boys had been looking at the sky to try to see meteors. One of my other sons, which was sitting with us, had seen a meteor earlier, so the other boys may had seen it also which may have promted them to look for more. They appeared excited from what they had seen and later that night they sat in the front yard to try to see more of these objects, but did not notice any others.
Temple is only about 10 miles from Fort Hood.

UFO Report ID:109536 Low fly over of reflective crescent followed by low flyover by flying wing

A friend of mine while having friends over noticed an object flying well below cloud coverage and very fast, the object seemed to match the same colors as the night sky and clouds as it flew. This Object was described to me as crescent shaped. about 20 seconds later the object vanished. THEN 20 minutes later, a flying wing object passed overhead with pulsating dim lights, it was flying much slower than the first object, but in the same path.
--------------------------------------------
Both of these sightings occurred the same night within about an hour of each other and they both sound like the same objects. Also interesting is that both reports describe the objects as disappearing or blending in with the night sky, as if they had some type of cloaking device. This is a commonly reported characteristic of the triangle UFOs.
There was another report of a sighting near Brownwood which is about 80 miles to the west of Fort Hood out in the area where the Stephenville Lights were seen. It also sounds very similar to the other two sightings.

UFO Report ID:109592 saw a saw 2 triangles followed by some spheres in a straight silent formation

My family and I were camping and fishing at the Lake Brownwood State Park this past weekend. At exactly 2104 hrs on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 I was sitting outside our trsavel trailer cooking on the grill with my two boys, ages six and four. My lawn chair was facing east when I caught movement in the sky coming from the north east heading south west. My initial thought was that I was seeing an airplane towing a banner behind it, but then realized that there were no blinking lights at all like you would expect from aircraft, and whatever it was, it was completely silent. The leading set of lights were several red lights arranged in a triangle formation, followed by the exact same design comprised of blue lights, and followed by about three yellowish or orange spheres. I could not tell if all three were part of one object or three separate objects, only that they were moving in perfect formation in a stright line and none of them blinked at all. I have never seen anything like it before in my life. I pointed up at it and told my boys look, a UFO. They both saw it, I told my little one to run inside and get momma, and he did. They were moving at a pretty fast pace, but if she had come out immediately, she would have still seen it as it continued SW. She didnt come out until several minutes later and proceeded to admonish me for scaring the kids. She said I probably just saw a shooting star. When she said this, my four year old agreed, but my six year old even knows what he saw was definately not a shooting star. I have seen shooting stars and comets and satellites in orbit, airplanes, jets and helicopters, blimps and balloons. Im not sure what this was, but it was none of those. This was something I have never seen before in my forty years of life. Her reaction and humiliating insult caused me to second guess wether or not I should even report this for fear of ridicule, but it has been on my mind and I am curious if anyone else saw these lights that same night. The entire sequence lasted only 15-20 seconds, but I looked at the time as soon as they were out of sight. it was 2104 hrs.
--------------------------------------------------
So going by the times that were reported the first sighting occurred at 2045 (8:45 pm) in Killeen. The second took place at 2105 (9:05 pm) in Brownwood, and the third was at 2155 (9:55 pm) in Belton.
If this was the same craft responsible for all three reports than it basically started near Ft Hood, flew out west almost 100 miles and then turned around and returned back to the Ft Hood area all in about an hour's time. That would produce a speed of a little over 200 miles per hour which is well within the range of man-made aircraft, and the flight pattern does sort of match that of military craft conducting training maneuvers where they go out, circle around and return, but what type of aircraft exist that can blend into the colors of the night sky so well that they appear to disappear?
There have been rumors that the military has developed a craft that has such camoflauging techniques but so far they are only unsubstantiated rumors. There are also rumors that the military and CIA have developed high-altitude triangle shaped lighter than air craft (like blimps basically) that they use for aireal servellience and transport, but once again these rumors have yet to be substantiated.
Even if these rumored military craft were real as far as I know they do not fly out of Ft Hood.
There have been other recent sightings in the central texas area also. I don't know if any of these things are related to the three that I just posted, or to the current crop of abductions that are taking place but I am keeping a close eye on any activity in the area.

My friend sent me this photo late last night. I have no idea what it is yet because he hasn't given me any details about it yet but he must think it is something interesting because he sent it to me three different times...on my cell phone, in an email and on Facebook. I assume he wanted me to see it. I'll post the details as soon as I get them.
