www.slate.com/blogs/the_vault/2013/10/09/jimmy_carter_the_president_s_letter_on_the_voyager_probe.htmlOct. 9 2013 Dear Space Aliens: Hello! Love, Jimmy CarterBy Benjamin Breen On a cold evening in 1969, a peanut farmer was standing outside a Georgia restaurant when he noticed a mysterious pulsating light in the western sky. “It was the darndest thing I've ever seen,” he recalled seven years later, during his successful presidential campaign. “One thing's for sure, I'll never make fun of people who say they've seen unidentified objects in the sky. If I become President, I'll make every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings available to the public.” Indeed, Carter filed his own report of the incident with the International UFO Bureau in Oklahoma City (read it here). Even though Carter later came to believe that what he called “space people” hadn’t paid Earth a visit, there’s still a possibility that his words might visit them. In the summer of 1977, he penned a three-paragraph letter to accompany the Voyager spacecraft. Today, that letter is travelling beyond our Solar System at speeds of eleven miles a second. It is the first letter in history to reach extrasolar space. Carter was not the only human to send a message on Voyager—the “Golden Record” stowed onboard contained greetings in languages ranging from Sumerian to Welsh, as well as short speeches from UN delegates interwoven with whale sounds. (“My dear friends in outer space,” one delegate intones over a collage of cetacean murmurs, “as you probably know, my country is situated on the west coast of the continent of Africa, a land mass more or less in the shape of a question mark.”) Yet Carter’s letter was the longest message sent by any earthling, and the one that most fully evoked the utopian mission of Voyager. “We are a community of 240 million human beings among the more than 4 billion who inhabit the planet Earth,” he wrote. “We hope someday, having solved the problems we face, to join a community of galactic civilizations.” As I wrote recently on the new history website The Appendix, Carter was quite possibly inspired to this flight of fancy by the theatrical release of Star Wars three weeks earlier. But perhaps he was simply waxing idealistic, touched by the thought of writing the first interstellar letter in human history. The Vault is Slate's history blog. THIS IS A FUN INTERVIEW... Bill Clinton on Aliens - " If we were visited some day I wouldn't be surprised "Published on Apr 3, 2014 Bill Clinton says we may not be alone. During an appearance on ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Wednesday, the 42nd president was pressed by host Jimmy Kimmel about whether he saw any classified information while in office proving the existence of aliens. While Clinton said he had "all the Roswell papers reviewed" and found no clear evidence that aliens exist, he also said he wouldn't be shocked if intelligent life exists outside our planet or even if extraterrestrials one day visit Earth. "We know now we live in an ever expanding universe," Clinton said. "We know there are billions of stars and planets literally out there — and the universe is getting bigger. We know from our fancy telescopes that just in the last two years more than 20 planets have been identified outside our solar system that seem to be far enough away from their suns — and dense enough — that they might be able to support some form of life." "So it makes it increasing less likely that we're alone," he continued. "Oh, you're trying to give me a hint that there are aliens," Kimmel quipped in response. "No, I'm trying to tell you I don't know," Clinton replied. "But if we were visited some day, I wouldn't be surprised. I just hope that it's not like 'Independence Day,' the movie — that it's, you know, a conflict." www.presidentialufo.com/bill-clinton/544-clinton-ufos-and-the-single-bullet-theory Clinton, UFOs, and the Single Bullet Theory Written by Grant Cameron Sunday, 06 April 2014 As Time Magazine and other in the “established media” have been reporting over the last couple of days former President Bill Clinton went on the Jimmy Kimmel show and talked about his efforts to look into the UFO phenomena when he became president. time.com/48132/bill-clinton-wouldnt-be-surprised-if-aliens-existed/Not surprisingly, Clinton added really nothing to the many statements he has made in the past. What he did say is that he did look in to the subject which raised a cheer from the believers saying “I told you so.” It also, however, provided psychotic geocentric sceptics to claim Clinton’s latest statements show conclusively that there are no ETs and the government knows nothing.Clinton Roswell cartoon The real truth of the matter may be as simple as the statement made in the undisputed Canadian Top Secret memo where it is stated that when they asked the Americas about flying saucers, through discrete enquiries made through the Canadian Embassy in Washington in November 1950, they were told 1) Flying saucers exist 2) It is the most highly classified subject in the United States. This documented fact would tend to indicate that Clinton would and could never violate his security clearance to say anything significant on the subject. It seems like a no-brainer. To add to this take years later, in a rumored conversation between then CIA Director George Bush and President-elect Jimmy Carter, Bush said ”Curiosity is not sufficient need to know.” It has been known since the time Clinton was in office that he was interested. In one story attributed to Ron Pandolfi, the top scientist in the CIA who was tasked with the UFO briefing for President Clinton’s Science Director Dr. Jack Gibbons, Pandolfi reported through a friend of his, It was known among the high CIA people, and the people who had contact with these people (Clintons) that they were on the prowl for UFOs. He (Bill) had been asking anyone who would listen to him, to tell him the secret. You know, he would get some Admiral in there, and say “By the way, tell me the UFO secret.” They would just look at him like “What planet are you from?” Later, Roswell movie producer, Paul Davids, whose father taught Clinton at Georgetown University, had the opportunity to sit with Clinton for a few minutes at an event when Hillary was running for president. He gave Clinton a copy of a Roswell book that had just been written by Don Schmitt and Tom Carey. After viewing the cover Clinton said he would read it right away as he was ‘Fascinated” with this subject. What is less known than Clinton’s love for UFO stories is the fact that he was fascinated with President John F. Kennedy. This fascination was fueled when as a teenager he told his mother that he would get a picture with the President for her on his trip to Boys Nation gathering in Washington DC, and then got it. The story is completed by Webster Hubbell, who had worked at the Rose Law firm in Little Rock with Hillary, and was a close friend of Bill’s. According to Hubbell’s 1997 book “Friend in High Places,” Clinton had said, ‘”If I put you over at Justice, I want you to find the answers to two questions for me. One, who killed JFK? And two, are there UFOs?” Clinton was dead serious. I had looked into both, but wasn’t satisfied with the answers I was getting. Knowing that Clinton looked into UFOs, it seemed highly likely that he probably looked into the JFK assassination. Based on a statement made by Steven Greer it seemed apparent that Clinton did not go along with the single bullet theory. Greer tells of his encounters with a FOB (friend of Bill) that took Greer’s disclosure briefing materials to President Clinton in 1993. Greer reported that the friend came to his house and said “The president would like to do what you ask, but is afraid that if he does he will end up like Jack Kennedy.” clinton-kennedyTherefore when I filed my UFO FOIAs with the Clinton library I also filed for all files on the JFK assassination. Years later when the files were finally processed they had over 7,000 pages. Many however were withheld. nypost.com/2015/03/22/aliens-killed-kennedy-and-other-wild-tales-of-ufos-vs-the-usa/Aliens killed Kennedy! And other wild tales of UFOs vs. the USABy Larry Getlen March 22, 2015 Little-known fact: The late comedian Jackie Gleason was good friends with President Richard Nixon. Even weirder? Both men were obsessed with UFOs. This new book by Larry Holcombe — who’s been studying UFOs for 50 years — does make some wild and thinly substantiated claims. But it’s too fun to pass up. To wit: Gleason’s ex-wife told Esquire magazine that one night, after a day spent golfing, Nixon “showed up at Gleason’s home and whisked him away to Homestead Air Force Base, where they entered a hanger in a high-security area.” There, the two men supposedly gazed upon the wreckage of a UFO and its dead alien cargo. Holcombe, a clear believer, breaks down every rumor about UFO visitation and the government’s “involvement” in it. There are many stories of sightings by high-level people, and it’s no secret that the government has looked into many of these reports over the years. In October 1969, outside of a Lions Club meeting in Leary, Ga., Holcombe writes that Jimmy Carter and some fellow club members “noticed a strange light in the western sky.” Carter later recalled one of the men saying, “ ‘Look over to the west!’ ” Carter allegedly said there was a bright light in the sky, which came closer, stopped, then suddenly “changed color to blue, then to red, then back to white.” The former president called to the aircraft a UFO — “but doesn’t believe it was extraterrestrial.” While campaigning for president, Carter promised, “If elected . . . he would disclose what the government knew about the UFO phenomenon,” however, to Holcombe’s knowledge, he never did. Ronald Reagan is regarded by UFO-logists as “the most open proponent of the existence of UFOs and an extraterrestrial presence as any president in history,” Holcombe writes. In 1974, while governor of California, Reagan was flying on a Cessna Citation when he and others on board noticed a bright light that suddenly “shot up at a 45-degree angle at a high rate of speed.” Years later, the pilot on the flight, Bill Paynter, “was asked if he thought Reagan believed in UFOs and he replied, ‘How could he not believe after what we saw that night?’” CONTINUE READING: nypost.com/2015/03/22/aliens-killed-kennedy-and-other-wild-tales-of-ufos-vs-the-usa/

Kennedy demanded from the CIA and NASA intel on UFO’s Declassified documents have generated suspicions about the motives that led to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. As new documents have emerged, some researchers suggest that President Kennedy was killed because he was “too close” to Aliens. Just ten days before being killed, former President of the United States John F. Kennedy asked the CIA for classified documents about UFO’s, according to the Freedom of Information Act. Letter from JFK to CIA director asking for access to UFO files, which has been released to an author under the Freedom of Information Act We are talking about two letters written by the former President of the United States. One of the letters was sent to the director of the CIA while the other one was sent to NASA. In the letters, former President John F. Kennedy asked for the establishment of a “Space cooperation” with the Soviet Union. These letter surfaced thanks to the work of writer William Lester, as he was gathering information for a book about the life of John F. Kennedy. ‘One of his concerns was that a lot of these UFOs were being seen over the Soviet Union and he was very concerned that the Soviets might misinterpret these UFOs as U.S. aggression, believing that it was some of our technology,’ Mr Lester told AOL News. ‘I think this is one of the reasons why he wanted to get his hands on this information and get it away from the jurisdiction of NASA so he could say to the Soviets, “Look, that’s not us, we’re not doing it, we’re not being provocative. “.’ CONTINUE READING: www.ancient-code.com/jfk-wrote-to-the-cia-demanding-access-to-their-files-about-ufos/

Morningstar for UFO Digest> September 30th, 2015 During a recent Jeb Bush fundraiser in Orlando, FL, his Father George Bush Senior left the large crowd uneasy after responding to a question about UFOs. An activist/journalist asked when the US government would tell the truth about UFOs, but the answer George Bush Sr. gave back took the crowd and reporters completely by surprise Before the questioning was briefly halted by the event organizers, Bush replied: “Americans can’t handle the truth” Worldnewsdailyreport.com reports: worldnewsdailyreport.com/george-bush-senior-on-ufos-americans-cant-handle-the-truth/In hope of helping his son’s Jeb Bush struggling presidential campaign, George Bush Sr and former president George W. Bush have been campaigning behind the presidential candidate in hopes of bringing the Bush family’s name once again behind the Oval office, but some experts believe this kind of incident could cost him the race. During the fundraiser, a man in the crowd raised a strange question which led to an even more surprising response by the former president and CIA director. The man asked George Bush Sr when the US government would tell Americans the truth about UFOs, to which he responded: “Americans can’t handle the truth” before the questioning was briefly halted by organizers of the event. The man that asked the question has been identified as Adam Guelch, an active member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), which credits itself as being the world’s oldest and largest UFO phenomenon investigative body Oddly enough, it is not the first time George Bush Sr has had a controversial opinion on the UFO subject as a similar incident occurred on March 7, 1988, during a trip to a George Bush for President Rally in Rogers, Arkansas. The to-be president was then asked, in the advent that he became president, if he would tell Americans the truth about the existence of UFOs, to which Bush replied: “I am very careful in public life about dealing with classified information” he told the reporter. James Adder, journalist for the Arkansas Globe at the time, also asked about Bush’s knowledge about the UFO phenomena,to which Bush respondeded (before ending the interview): ” I know some. I know a fair amount” A loss of cognitive functions, says a medical expert One medical expert believes that George Bush Sr., who is in a frail state of health, might be suffering from a neurological disorder such as Alzheimer's, which could explain his weird comment,. “At the venerable age of 91, it is quite normal to suffer from a loss of cognitive functions. Clear symptoms are a difficulty to express yourself coherently, loss of memory, dementia. This is possibly the root cause for the awkward comments” explains neurologist John O’Briar. A Jeb Bush campaign spokesman told reporters George Bush Sr.’s comments “did not reflect in any way the opinions of presidential candidate Jeb Bush” and that Jeb Bush supporters “are entitled to their own views on a variety of subjects.” CONTINUE READING: ufodigest.com/article/george-bush-senior-ufos-americans-cant-handle-truthWORLD NEWS DAILY: worldnewsdailyreport.com/george-bush-senior-on-ufos-americans-cant-handle-the-truth/

In March, Clinton — the presumptive nominee for the Democratic nomination for president — went on Jimmy Kimmel Live and said she’ll do her best to delve into government files surrounding possible UFO sightings. “I would like us to go into those files and hopefully make as much of that public as possible. If there’s nothing there, let’s tell people there’s nothing there,” Clinton said on Kimmel’s show. “If there is something there, unless it’s a threat to national security, I think we ought to share it with the public.” Clinton isn’t alone in her curiosity about aliens on Earth. According to one poll released in 2012 and conducted by the company Kelton Research, about 36 percent of the United States population believes in UFOs. “This is not a fringe thing,” SETI Institute astronomer Seth Shostak told Mashable in an interview. The Central Intelligence Agency has released a full database of public UFO files, yet the interest in a possible government conspiracy still hasn’t died down. If Clinton is chosen as the nominee and eventually elected as president, she will join a list of presidents who also have thoughts about UFOs, and even their own sightings to share. He described the pair discussing a newspaper article that mentioned UFOs. The man, who is not named in the clip from the documentary, says the president asked him what he thought, so he threw the question back at JFK. He said: "JFK responded, 'well I asked you first'." The man then said he did not think humans could be alone in the universe. He claimed JFK replied: "You're right young man, there is considerable knowledge as far as the being of UFOs and the ET phenomenon that we are aware of today." Unacknowledged claims to expose years of coverups within the US government over the alleged truth of alien visitations of Earth being kept hidden from the public. The film is directed by Michael Mazzola and follows conspiracy theorist Dr Steven Greer, who is a major player in the so-called disclosure movement, which is calling for an end to an alleged truth embargo which ensures the cover-up continues. The extensive documentary touches on the death of Marilyn Monroe, which it suggests was a murder coordinated by the CIA because of an alleged affair with JFK and claims she was about to blow the lid on UFOs based on pillow talk with the president. In the film, Dr Greer produces an alleged top secret CIA memo written two days before the star was found dead on on August 5, 1962, in Brentwood, Los Angeles, California. He claims it shows how she was wire tapped by the agency which had concerns about her liaison with the president. Last year, a new theory alleged that JFK was shot dead because he demanded the release of top-secret UFO files from the CIA. Alien researcher Scott C Waring, editor of the now defunct UFO Sightings Daily, posted copies to his website of a letter sent by JFK to the then head of the CIA just 10 days before he was murdered. He blogged: "Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton doesn't know it yet, but she does not have the power to release such information. "CIA would kill her before she could, just like they did JFK. "Yes, just a week before his death JFK wrote a memo to CIA to release all pertinent info to NASA, but somehow he was killed before it ever happened." alien-ufo-sightings.com/2017/06/next-story-president-eisenhowers-great-granddaughter-speaks-about-his-meeting-with-extraterrestrials/PRESIDENT EISENHOWER’S GREAT GRANDDAUGHTER SPEAKS ABOUT HIS MEETING WITH EXTRATERRESTRIALS6-28-2017 Dwight David Eisenhower was one of the highest ranking American generals in United States history. He also served as the country’s 34th president, spending eight years in office; before that, he served as Supreme Commander of the Allied Forces in Europe during World War II. His military career was long and extensive, and if anyone knows anything about supposed extraterrestrial beings and the UFO phenomenon, it would definitely be him; he would, after all, be taking the place of Harry S. Truman, who was president while Eisenhower was Supreme Commander, and who, after being asked if he had been briefed on the topic of Unidentified Flying Objects, stated on live television: "Oh yes we discuss it at every conference that we had with the military, and they never were able to make me a concrete report on it. . . . There’s always things like that going on, flying saucers and they’ve had other things, you know.” If we fast forward to more than 50 years later, one thing has become extremely obvious: UFOs are an international phenomenon, and they have gained the attention of governments, intelligence agencies, and military agencies around the world, particularly since so many military encounters have been recorded. “The nations of the world are currently working together in the investigation of the UFO phenomenon. There is an international exchange of data. Maybe when this group of nations acquires more precise and definite information, it will be possible to release the news to the world.” – General Carlos Castro Cavero, Spanish Air Force General (a statement given to the world in the 1970s) Some startling examples of UFO encounters were outlined by Dr. Jacques Vallee, a scientist notable for co-developing the first computerized mapping of Mars for NASA, and for his work at SRI International on the network information center for ARPANET, a precursor to the modern Internet, in a paper he published in the Journal of Scientific Exploration titled “Estimates of Optical Power Output in Six Cases Of Unexplained Aeriel Objects With Defined Luminosity Characteristics.” (source)(source) These objects are commonly witnessed by military pilots and tracked on both air and ground radar simultaneously. They are seen performing maneuvers that defy our current understanding of physics. As outlined in the publication above, often when pilots enter the vicinity of these objects, their critical instrumentation and electronics systems all go offline. I just love how written words like THIS are "just thrown in there" (in the article) without any other explanation.
"The letter offers details about extraterrestrial bodies and craft, stating that part of the disks carry crews, while others are under remote control; that these visitors are human-like but much larger in size, and that they come from an etheric planet that “students of esoteric matters will understand,” among other details."

Remote controlled ufos is an interesting concept. Especially if they were controlled psychically by the ETs through brainwaves, or whatever it is that allows telepathic communication. That might explain why some ufos respond to people's thoughts. The eyewitnesses might be temporarily gaining control over them.

Birnes, Joel Martin 01.28.2018 In 1999, the House of Representatives passed a bill that would have required across-the-board cuts to most federal agencies and departments, including the Department of Education, which President Clinton learned about as he was about to meet with a delegation of educators. The budget cuts also meant that teachers would probably not be getting any raises, something that irked Clinton to the point where, in an impromptu and unscripted remark, he said, channeling Ronald Reagan’s famous statement, “If we were being attacked by space aliens, we wouldn’t be playing these kinds of games.” Funny how when Ronald Reagan said the same thing to the United Nations, folks commented that Reagan sure knew how to illustrate a point. When Clinton made his statement, Rush Limbaugh thundered into his microphone, “What’s he going to do, arrange one?” Just three years earlier, while on a trip to Ireland where he was visiting a very troubled Belfast, Clinton read a letter he received from a child named Ryan, who had asked him about what he knew regarding stories of a UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico. Clinton hadn’t come to talk about UFOs. He was trying to make a point regarding how children can be victimized by political violence. In front of his Belfast audience, Clinton said to Ryan, “No, as far as I know, an alien spacecraft did not crash in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947.” But then he added, to the delight of his audience, “and Ryan, if the United States Air Force did recover alien bodies, they didn’t tell me about it, either, and I want to know.” Clinton did want to know, Webster Hubbell, Clinton’s associate attorney general, wrote in his own memoir. As AAG, Hubbell claimed that President Clinton asked him to find out all that he could about two things: who killed JFK and what the government knew about UFOs. He reported to the president after being stonewalled by the relevant agencies that there was a secret government that closely holds secrets to which the president doesn’t even have access. However, in 1993, the year Clinton was inaugurated, and as pressure was mounting on the CIA to confirm that it had followed UFO stories, Director of Central Intelligence James Woolsey “ordered another review of all Agency files on UFOs. Using CIA records compiled from that review, the study he ordered traced CIA interest and involvement in the UFO controversy from the late 1940s to 1990.” The report reveals that despite official statements to the contrary regarding the government’s interest in what happened at Roswell, the air force did, in fact, open up an investigative unit, known first as Project SAUCER and then Project SIGN, to “collect, collate, evaluate, and distribute within the government all information relating to such sightings, on the premise that UFOs might be real and of national security concern.” The CIA report reveals that the agency followed the air force investigations into UFOs, especially the invasion of Washington, D.C. airspace in 1952, and the reports of pilots and radar operators who said they were seeing images they could not identify and did not seem to represent conventional aircraft. The report continues to explain the nature of CIA involvement in UFO cases over the decades and, without making the point explicitly, implies that despite any official denials, and, moreover, very relevant to the background of George H. W. Bush, the agency was very active in UFO research, had compiled voluminous files on UFOs, and had much to share with any American president, should the DCI have reason to do so. The report must have been a real eye-opener to President Clinton, not so much because of what truths behind cases it revealed or did not reveal, but simply that the files that the president had dispatched Webster Hubbell to locate, files that Hubbell said had been kept from him, now, albeit sanitized, were available to him. According to Jon Austin in the UK’s Express, as far back as Bill Clinton’s first term in office in 1993, Hillary Clinton was talking up UFOs with Laurence Rockefeller, who funded initiatives to research UFOs almost as a way to counter what the Condon Report had argued as well as making its own case for the study of the possibility of extraterrestrial visitations. “From early 1993 the businessman began a lengthy approach to Bill Clinton for disclosure, including files held by the CIA, in what became the Rockefeller Initiative.” Further, Austin writes, “During the Clinton family seven-day vacation in August 1995 at the Rockefeller Teton Ranch outside of Jackson Hole, Wyoming, the 85-year-old billionaire privately briefed the President and First Lady on UFOs and his hopes. “No one else knows exactly what was said, but at the time Mr. Clinton, who had a personal interest in UFOs and was frustrated at the lack of information he could glean on it, was carrying out a review of how the Government handled confidential material.” For a scientific review of the Laurence Rockefeller conference on UFOs at Pocantico Hills, the basis for the Rockefeller conclusions about the need to research the UFO phenomenon further, see Peter A. Sturrock’s analysis "The UFO Enigma," in which Rockefeller himself explains the purpose of his initiative. The Clinton perspective on UFOs, however, took a dramatic turn in March 1997, the time of the Phoenix Lights, the arrival of the Hale-Bopp comet, and the Heaven’s Gate mass suicide, when President Clinton himself would become involved in the most media covered UFO appearance since the 1952 invasion over Washington, D.C. The Phoenix LightsOn March 13, 1997, the stage was set for thousands of witnesses across the southwest scanning the sky for the appearance of the Hale-Bopp comet — for comet watchers, a once-in-a-lifetime event. But it wasn’t just a comet that residents of Phoenix saw on that warm March night. The story actually began before 8:30 p.m. when witnesses in Henderson, Nevada, at the Arizona border reported a strange sight, six orange lights in a triangular pattern slowly moving toward the southeast and making no sound except for what the observer said was the wind. About fifteen minutes later another witness, this time behind the wheel of his car, saw a formation of lights heading his way as he drove north. He headed home, retrieved binoculars, and kept watching the lights as they headed south and west towards Phoenix. Within minutes [of these] sighting, folks just north of Phoenix began seeing the lights off in the distance to the north-northwest, heading their way. It passed right over private streets, possibly as low as 100-150 feet, and traveling slowly toward the south. Then it seemed to stop dead in the air. It hovered. Then it picked up motion and continued through the narrow valleys toward the outskirts of the city suburbs where more people, some on the roads, some standing on their balconies, spotted the object, which many people described as unearthly. One of the witnesses was Arizona governor Fife Symington, who said in 2007 and on "UFO Hunters" that despite what he said at his faux news conference when he had his chief of staff dress up in an alien garb and show up as the explanation for the lights, Symington himself saw the 8:30 lights from his own backyard and said they were not a conventional craft because the object he saw flew too slowly for an airplane, did not have the thwapping sound of rotor blades like a helicopter, and was completely noiseless. A plane would have stalled at the speed it was moving, a helicopter would have shown distinct navigation lights and made a noise, especially at the low altitude at which it was flying, and the lights made the craft larger than a football field. Also, Symington said that as commander in chief of the Arizona National Guard and Air National Guard, he called Luke Air Force Base and was told no military craft were in the sky at 8:30 over Phoenix. Thus the lights were not confirmed as military by the Air National Guard. About two hours after the first sighting of the lights, a second set of lights flew over the same area, causing even more confusion and frenzy than the first set. Were the 10:30 lights over Phoenix a different object, the same object returning, or flares from air force or National Guard planes scrambled to establish a conventional explanation for the 8:30 lights? At first, when the 10:30 lights appeared, residents called Sky Harbor air traffic control again and were told that no planes were picked up on radar. Residents also called Luke Air Force Base again and were told none of their planes were in the air. However, after the initial responses from Luke AFB, the air force said that the lights were ground illumination flares from a flight of A-10 Warthogs over the Goldwater test range. Months later, the Maryland Air National Guard announced that there were planes in the air on the night of March 13, 1997, from the 104th fighter squadron flying out of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona as the unit that dropped LUU-2B/B ground illumination flares in an exercise over the Goldwater test range. CIA UFO consultant Dr. Bruce Maccabee conducted a triangulation analysis of the events and said that it was indeed likely that the second formation of lights were flares that could be seen even though they were many miles south of the Phoenix area at 10:30. However, photo analyst Jim Dilettoso of Arizona’s Village Labs said that after he had performed a spectral analysis of the lights, he determined that the colors of the lights were inconsistent with flares. Witness and award-winning filmmaker Dr. Lynne Kitei has said that the 10:30 lights were not flares and that subsequent flare-dropping demonstrations by the air force to prove that flares were what people in Phoenix saw on the night of March 13, 1997, showed, again through an analysis of the aerial performance, the colors and the residue actually proved that what witnesses saw were not flares. The controversy over the nature of the lights still remains today. WATCH VIDEO: www.salon.com/2018/01/28/bill-clinton-and-ufos-did-he-ever-find-out-if-the-truth-was-out-there/#.Wm9Ub5A7Yt4.twitter

www.openminds.tv/jimmy-kimmel-asks-another-former-president-about-ufo-secrets/39715 Jimmy Kimmel asks another former president about UFO secretsPosted by: Alejandro Rojas / www.openminds.tv/author/alejandro March 6, 2017 Jimmy Kimmel is at it again, this time with former POTUS George Bush. Kimmel has a habit of asking presidents – and a presidential candidate -what they know about UFOs and the government’s secret files. Bush was on the hot seat last week, and his answers might make some scratch their heads. George Bush answering UFO questions on Jimmy Kimmel Live. (Credit: YouTube/Jimmy Kimmel Live)Kimmel broached the topic by asking: “This is a question, first, that I think is important to me and to the country. When you were in office, I don’t know when this happened or if it happened, did you go through the secret files, the UFO documents? Because…” Bush interrupted, “Maybe.” Kimmel finished his question, “…that would be the first thing I did.” Bush responded: “My daughters asked the same question.” Kimmel was surprised by this, and asked, “Would you be allowed to tell your daughters what was in those files?” “No,” Bush replied. Kimmel continued to push, “Now that you’re out of office, you can do anything you want, right?” “True. But I am not telling you,” Bush replied. Kimmel then sought to clarify, “Are you not telling me you looked at them?” “I’m not telling you nuthin’,” Bush responded. This got a chuckle out of the crowd and Kimmel. However, Kimmel was not done yet. He asked, “Are there really great secrets that you know that you can’t share with people?” “Yeah,” Bush replied. Kimmel then asked, “There are? And you never write about them?” “No,” Bush replied. Kimmel then suggested perhaps Bush would write about it later in life, like when he is 90. “No,” Bush replied. Still pressing, Kimmel asked, “Nothing? What if you were to get a little loopy and…” “Start drinking again?,” Bush asked. Kimmel laughed, and agreed. “Yeah. Start drinking again. Guillermo, get some tequila!” That was the extent of their ET conversation, as you can see in the video above. The conversation was actually very interesting. Bush seemed to imply he has seen UFO files of which he cannot share the content. Was he kidding? In this setting, one which is about getting laughs, that could be assumed. However, during much of the conversation, Bush did not appear to be joking. If Bush really has seen UFO files that are top secret and still under wraps, that would be significant. Thus far, every president has denied that such a thing exists. Obama said the aliens would not let him tell Kimmel about the secret files, but he did seem to be joking. Clinton said he looked for secret government UFO files, but did not find any. At least once, he did imply that career bureaucrats could be keeping them secret for him. One of our previous stories on this, and Clinton’s talk with Kimmel, was found in recent WikiLeaks. Ben Hansen, former host of the Syfy program Fact or Faked: The Paranormal Files, has examined previous statements by presidents, or presidential hopefuls, and he says there is some indication that there is something to hide. He admits, he is not sure what the something is, or if it is UFO or ET related. He intends to scrutinize this video, and when he does, we will let you know what he finds out. www.dailygrail.com/2018/04/former-president-of-brazil-talks-about-his-ufo-encounter-on-national-television/ Former President of Brazil Talks About His UFO Encounter on National Televisionby red pill junkie / www.dailygrail.com/author/red-pill-junkie/Thursday, April 26th When I started to become more active in the online UFO community, people in English-speaking countries tended to approach me, because they were curious about how the phenomenon was treated both in my nation (Mexico) as well as other regions of Latin America. “Does the topic carry the same negative stigma (i.e. ‘the giggle factor’) in those parts of the world, too?” they would ask me, “or is it more accepted in their society?” I always tried to give the best answer I could from my somewhat limited perspective –meaning not as an academician or an investigative journalist who’s traveled all around the globe, but from the POV of a private citizen with a life-long interest in the subject, who’s tried to keep his ears on the ground. Hence from my modest vantage point I can honestly say that, while UFOs still have a long way to go before they are officially acknowledged south of the Rio Grande, they are not actively ridiculed in the Latin American press in the same manner their American, Canadian and English colleagues tend to do –or at least used to until last December’s revelations, although it’s still unclear if this ‘change of heart’ will be permanent or not… A good example of this more open attitude toward UFOs is the recent appearance of Fernando Henrique Cardoso, who was the president of Brazil from 1995 to 2003, on the late-night TV talk show Conversa com Bial (‘Chat with Bial’). Most of the 1-hour interview was devoted to other topics, like the current situation in Brazil and the many economic and political scandals currently afflicting this South American nation; but by the end of the show the host Pedro Bial asked former president Cardoso about a UFO sighting he had during a trip to the coastal city of Fortaleza, in the northern state of Ceará back in 1979, when he was accompanied by his wife Ruth, and ambassador Celso Furtado, who was a very important economist and one of the biggest intellectuals in the history of Brazil –Cardoso himself is a sociologist and a well known professor, and he even taught at the French university of the Sorbonne and other prestigious schools. In the video below –which unfortunately does not have English subtitles– Bial runs an old TV clip from 1982 showing Furtado accompanied by a young Cardoso and his wife, describing the close encounter the three of them had when they were riding a taxi cab taking them to Fortaleza. Furtado further described the object, which was hovering over the sea, as self-illuminating but not too bright, which made him think initially it was just a helicopter, until it performed a very abrupt vertical elevation, followed by an horizontal displacement, for which they had no explanation. IN SPANISHAt the end of the clip Cardoso confirms the event, explaining that they were all returning from a reunion of the Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science when the sighting took place. He admits the object did not move in a conventional manner, but clarifies that his wife Ruth –“who was more skeptic than us”– didn’t get to see it; an interesting detail which wouldn’t surprise seasoned students of the phenomenon, who no doubt have read numerous encounter reports in which some witnesses get to see the UFO, while others are unable to –even if it was allegedly right in front of them! Both Furtado and Ruth Cardoso have passed away since, and are no longer available to give more details on this case. Perhaps the most interesting thing about this video, which is not necessarily a ‘breaking news’ because the sighting happened a long time ago –and it doesn’t seem to be the first time it was mentioned in Brazilian television– is the reaction from the public when Cardoso candidly reiterates “Me and Celso saw the flying disk.” No laughter from neither the public nor Pedro Bial the host, despite the fact Bial did tease Cardoso at some point for having had a “close encounters with extraterrestrials” –from a cursory online research I did about this case, though, it doesn’t seem Cardoso accepts the ET angle for whatever it is he saw in ’79, just like president Carter with his own UFO sighting in 1969. So what? some might be thinking. After all, we’ve all seen president Clinton on the Jimmy Kimmel show talk about he tried to find the truth about the Roswell incident; his wife Hillary was also given the chance to express interest in the topic and her savvy use of the lingo (“Jimmy if you talk about UFOs, people think you’re nuts – you have to use the term UAP)”. And while it’s definitely easier for retired politicians like Cardoso to talk about these kind of fringe experiences now that they are out of office, we need to look at the big picture: The ’79 sighting was publicly revealed in 1982, right about when Cardoso was starting his political career and became senator from Sao Paolo (according to his Wikipedia page). Who could ever forget the debate in the Democratic primaries back in 2008, when Dennis Kucinich was MOCKED by the moderator AND the audience, because of the UFO sighting he had while in the company of Shirley McLaine? Right there and then, every American politician understood the lesson: UFOs are toxic. But that doesn’t seem to have been the case with Cardoso, who didn’t see his career hindered and was even able to climb to the highest office in Brazil; and let’s not also forget that he was also an academician, so in America he would have had to combat ridicule from two different fronts, instead of just one. Will we ever get to see another American candidate readily admitting an active interest in the UFO topic during a debate –or even better, disclosing a personal encounter– without seeing their political aspirations going down the drain? It’s 2018 and a lot has changed since the days of Jimmy Carter. Let me blunt: The United States is no longer the leader of the free world. And if its elected officials and major institutions continue to ignore or downplay thorny problems like the UFO phenomenon, the USA not only risks staying behind other younger and more dynamic nations like Brazil, Chile, Peru, Uruguay and Argentina (who all have official departments studying UFOs) in this and many other challenges facing humanity in the XXIst century –it risks fading into the yellowing pages of history. www.area51.org/ufos-and-presidents-the-top-5-encounters/UFOs and Presidents: the Top 5 Encountersby AgentZero / www.area51.org/author/zero/1-15-2019 US presidents keep their mouths shut about UFOs. The party line: there’s no such thing, so what’s to talk about? Beneath the secrecy, though, are stories that are stunning and maybe even frightening. Harry S. Truman: Angered by UFO Fly-bysHarry Truman was president of the United States when Kenneth Arnold saw flying saucers over the state of Washington, ushering in the modern era of UFO sightings. He was president when the Roswell Incident occurred in 1947. He was president in 1952 when UFOs buzzed Washington, D.C. over consecutive days. Harry Truman was familiar with UFOs—obviously. It was the UFO fly-bys over D.C. that forced Truman to act. There were unknown, saucer-shaped craft seen zooming over the White House, the Pentagon, and the Capitol building, and newspaper headlines shouted about the sightings. The public was talking about them; in some newspapers, the front-page UFO stories pushed articles about the Democratic National Convention to page two. Truman’s response? Out of frustration, he gave the order: “Shoot them down!” Several well-known scientists, including Albert Einstein, heard about the order and urged him to rescind it. Truman did, around the time that the UFO sightings also ceased. Dwight D. Eisenhower: Secret Treaty with Aliens? One day, near the start of his presidency, President Eisenhower vanished. The president had been in Palm Springs, CA at the time, and when no one could find him they feared the worst—heart attack, stroke, or some other dire event. Eisenhower reappeared the next day at a church service. An excuse was given for his absence: he’d needed “emergency dental surgery”, an aide reported, stiffly. Whispers and rumors started immediately—weird ones. Insiders were leaking a strange story, that the president had rushed to Muroc Air Force Base (now Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California), met with aliens, and signed a treaty with them. Gordon Duff, senior editor of the veterans organization Veterans Today, says that he’s seen classified documents that outline the agreement. “The 1953 treaty with President Eisenhower was an agreement,” Duff told an interviewer, “a coercive agreement against the USA on behalf of a hostile alien power that wished to be able to kidnap a number of citizens from the United States, which means of course that they had agreements with other nations as well.” JFK: UFOs Could Trigger War with RussiaThere had been a spate of UFO sightings over the Soviet Union, and President John F. Kennedy was downright worried. JFK's Memo on UFOs JFK’s Memo Ordering the US to Share UFO Info with the Soviets It was the height of the Cold War, and JFK was afraid that a UFO over the USSR might be mistaken for a missile—and prompt the Russians to launch missiles of their own. On November 12, 1963, Kennedy dictated a memo ordering that the US prepare to share sensitive information about UFOs with the USSR, so that there would be no apocalyptic mistakes. The president was shot dead in Dallas a mere 10 days later. The memo reads: “It would be very helpful if you would have the high threat cases reviewed with the purpose of identification of bona fide as opposed to classified CIA and USAF sources. It is important that we make a clear distinction between the knowns and unknowns in the event the Soviets try to mistake our extended cooperation as a cover for intelligence gathering of their defense and space programs. I would like you to arrange a program of data sharing with NASA where unknowns are a factor.” Richard Nixon: the Jackie Gleason IncidentDick Nixon had some surprising friends—take famous entertainer Jackie Gleason, for example. The two were golfing chums and often chatted about their interest in UFOs, according to Gleason’s wife Beverly. One day in 1973, Nixon slipped away from his Secret Service detail and showed up at Gleason’s house alone. “I want to show you something,” the president told him. Nixon drove Gleason to Homestead Air Force Base, not far from Gleason’s home in Florida. A security guard, shocked when he recognized the two famous men, waved them through. They entered a heavily guarded building, and Nixon guided them to an inner chamber. There, Gleason was aghast: he was looking at what appeared at first to be “mangled children”. On closer inspection, he realized that they weren’t children—and that they were not human. Gleason told a confidante that he felt very upset that the government was hiding such monumental secrets from the public. Jimmy Carter: Truth-Seeker Reduced to TearsHe is unique among American presidents: Jimmy Carter has seen a UFO. Years before his presidency, while running for governor of Georgia, Carter and a handful of others witnessed a blueish object floating in the sky. Jimmy Carter President Jimmy Carter Had Seen a UFO, But He Wasn’t Prepared for the Government Secrets He Discovered Carter told an interviewer, “All of a sudden, one of the men looked up and said, ‘Look, over in the west!’ And there was a bright light in the sky. We all saw it. And then the light, it got closer and closer to us … we were trying to figure out what in the world it could be, and then it receded into the distance.” As president, Carter was keenly interested in what the government was keeping secret about the UFO phenomenon—and so he asked the top secret organization that would have that kind of information. CIA Director George W. Bush (later to be president) denied Carter’s initial requests, but Carter was persistent. One day, Bush relented; Carter was told the full truth. Later, the president was seen in the Oval Office, his head in his hands, sobbing quietly. He has never revealed what the CIA divulged to him that day. www.area51.org/ufos-and-presidents-the-top-5-encounters/

www.ufoinsight.com/eisenhower-alien-meetings-just-tip-iceberg/ The Eisenhower Alien Meetings Are “Just The Tip Of The Iceberg!” March 13th, 2019 Written by: Marcus Lowth On 11th December 1984 a little known television producer and UFO researcher – Jamie Shandera – found an envelopfe left for him. The package had no return address, but did contain copies of documents that would change people’s perception of the twentieth century and the events that might have actually shaped it. The documents themselves were stored on two rolls of 35mm film. The first one Shandera examined was labelled “Top Secret/Majic Eyes Only” – the title was even more intriguing – “Briefing Document: Majestic 12 / Prepared For President-Elect Dwight D. Eisenhower.” The top secret writings appeared to reveal the known presence of extra-terrestrials here on Earth. The Majestic 12 group were a collection of top scientists and military leaders who had been established in 1947 to investigate the UFO phenomenon. Both the papers and the Majestic 12 group of which they spoke were ultimately disregarded by the FBI as nothing but a hoax when they investigated the claims. They pointed to certain things such as how the date was written, and even how the documents were worded as being proof they were not genuine or authentic official papers. If the documents are to be believed however – and there is an avalanche of supporting testimony to suggest they are indeed genuine – then it would seem this was just the tip of the iceberg. Eisenhower’s Infamous MeetingsEisenhower went missing suddenly on the evening of February 20th 1954. There were rumours and fears quickly circulating that he may have died, to which the official response was that the president had had to undergo emergency dental work and was now recovering well. In reality the president had been whisked off to an emergency meeting with an alien race said to be from the Pleiades star cluster. They are often referred to as The Nordics due to their blue eyes, blond hair and pale skin. The meeting was said to have taken place at Edwards Air Force Base, in an empty hangar. Although the exact details of the talks are not fully known, it appears that the Nordics were offering help with technology, medical procedures and advancements, and a break away from fossil fuels for clean energy. However a deal was not reached and the meeting was abandoned. According to the story, this is when a second alien race also made contact with Eisenhower and the leaders of the United States. Unlike the Nordics however, the Greys managed to make a deal with the president – an abundance of technology given only to the United States, in return for access to members of the population – essentially the Greys had been given permission to abduct and experiment on citizens of the country before wiping their memories and returning them unharmed. Some say that Eisenhower was forced into making this deal, and point to the Cold War and the perceived ever-present threat of the Soviet Union. Assuming the story of contact is true, would the Greys have given this technology to the Russians and so tipping the balance of world power to them had the United States not agreed? Imagine for one moment that this was the agreement that had been reached and signed by Eisenhower, and you can start to understand why a country might want to keep quiet about allowing their own citizens to be abducted – by an alien race to boot – in exchange for technology and weapons. It wasn’t however the last meetings that Eisenhower and his staff would have with aliens as we will look at in a moment. The Mission of Valiant ThorIn March 1957 in Alexandria, Virginia, a strange craft landed in a quiet field. It was witnessed by a policeman out on routine patrol. A man emerged from the craft and approached the officer, calmly claiming his name was Valiant Thor. He was an extra-terrestrial who had been sent by “The High Council” and he requested that he might speak with President Eisenhower. The policeman took Thor to the Pentagon where he did eventually speak with Eisenhower, as well as the Secretary of Defense and other joint chiefs. According to the story, Thor was given a three year VIP status where he conducted numerous meetings with persons of high influence in the United States government. His mission was to voice concerns that the “High Council” had over the way humanity was evolving – in particular its apparent lust for nuclear weaponry. Whether Valiant Thor is from the same race of aliens as the Nordics – who allegedly first met Eisenhower three years earlier is open to debate. The story is known to us via the book “Stranger In The Pentagon” by Frank Stranger. Pictures have emerged of the alleged Thor – no-one has come forward to debunk or discredit them. Harley Byrd – nephew of much respected yet controversial Admiral Richard E Byrd who claimed to have flown inside the inner earth near the North Pole in 1947, encountering Nazi UFOs as he did so – backed up Stranger’s account to the dot. Check out the video below which looks at the mysterious account and also features an interview with Frank Strangers conducted before his death in 2008. www.openminds.tv/bill-clinton-talks-ufos-area-51/26772Bill Clinton talks about UFOs and Area 51 againPosted by: Alejandro Rojas / www.openminds.tv/author/alejandroApril 3, 2014 Even though it is Jimmy Carter who famously had a UFO sighting, Bill Clinton seems to be the one who talks the most about them, and he is open to the idea of extraterrestrial visitation. He has a long history of association with the UFO subject and Area 51 that spans back throughout his presidency. UFO buffs, and reporters, where poised at their televisions last night, ready to find out if Jimmy Kimmel would keep his promise when the other night he said he would ask Clinton about UFOs when he came on the show. Kimmel kept his promise, and in typical Kimmel fashion, in a light hearted and funny way. However, he did get some interesting and heartfelt comments from the former president. Kimmel brought up the subject by saying that if he were president he would immediately go find out about UFOs. He said, “I probably wouldn’t even finish the oath. I would run to the White House. I’d demand to see all of the classified files on the UFOs because I want to know. I want to know what has been going on. Did you do that?” Clinton replied, “Sort of.” Clinton said he began looking into it at the beginning of his second term, during the 50th anniversary of the alleged Roswell UFO crash. Kimmel was surprised he waited so long. Clinton also said he looked into Area 51. Clinton says there was a sci-fi movie that about an alien being held in Area 51. So he says he first had people look into Area 51 to find out if there really was an alien down there. He says he found out it was a secret base and the people who worked there even had to wear special clothing, but they were dealing with secret stealth technology, not aliens. As for Roswell, he says he knew they were going to receive “zillions” of letters about it for the anniversary, so he had all of the Roswell papers reviewed. Clinton didn’t get into the results of that inquiry before Kimmel’s next question, but we do know from previous comments that Clinton says he found no evidence of aliens at Roswell either. More on the later… As soon as Clinton mentioned he had the Roswell files reviewed, Kimmel asked, “If you saw that there were aliens there would you tell us?” Clinton replied that he would, to which the crowd clapped. He then said: What do we know now? We know we live in an ever expanding universe. We know that there are billions of stars and planets, literally, out there, and the universe is getting bigger. We know from our fancy telescopes that just in the last two years more than 20 planets have been identified outside of our solar system that seem to be far away enough from their suns and dense enough that they might be able to support some form of life. So, it makes it increasingly less likely that we are alone. Kimmel suggested, “Oh, you are trying to give me a hint that there are aliens.” Clinton replied, “No, I am trying to tell you I don’t know, but if we were visited some day I wouldn’t be surprised. I just hope it’s not like Independence Day the movie. “ Finally, Clinton embarked some sentiments, similar to those given by Reagan in the 80s and repeated several times, that if there was an alien threat that humans would need to unite and forget our petty difference. He noted that was the point behind the Independence Day movie. Clinton’s UFO History Clinton wasn’t kidding when he says he looked into UFOs during his presidency. In fact, a story that would make Kimmel proud was printed in a book by Clinton’s friend William Hubbell. Hubbell was a friend of the Clintons from Arkansas, and was actually indicted for fraud in the Whitewater scandals. Before his indictment he was assigned to the Attorney General’s office as the Associate Attorney General. Hubbell wrote in his book Friends in High Places: Clinton had said, ‘”If I put you over at Justice, I want you to find the answers to two questions for me,” Hubbell recounts. “One, who killed JFK. And two, are there UFOs?” Clinton was dead serious. I had looked into both, but wasn’t satisfied with the answers I was getting. In a speech he gave in Belfast in Northern Ireland in 1995, Clinton brought up Roswell. He said, “I got a letter from 13-year-old Ryan from Belfast. Now, Ryan, if you’re out in the crowd tonight, here’s the answer to your question. No, as far as I know, an alien spacecraft did not crash in Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. And, Ryan, if the United States Air Force did recover alien bodies, they didn’t tell me about it, either, and I want to know.” Clinton by far, more than any other president, has demonstrated the biggest presidential interest in UFOs. Every time he has talked on the subject he has left open the possibility that there could be more to the subject than we know. It seems he has been open to the idea of alien visitation for some time, even before it was cool. And yes, it is now very cool to believe in aliens. lifeinjonestown.substack.com/p/nervous-smiles-and-fluttering-eyelidsNervous smiles and fluttering eyelidsThe growing futility of containment tactics on the UFO mysteryby Billy Cox / substack.com/profile/27376895-billy-coxAug 31, 2022 "A secret's worth depends on the people from whom it must be kept" –Carlos Ruiz Zafón, The Shadow of the Wind During a late-night chortlefest last year in which Barack Obama joked that America’s UFO secrets will likely remain locked up indefinitely (“the aliens won’t let it happen … they exercise strict control over us”), Jimmy Kimmel made a prediction for the ex-president: “Now, you know there are a lot of people who are gonna examine all your facial expressions here, every twitch – everything.” Sure enough, just before the Office of National Intelligence issued its first UAP report in June 2021, four body-language experts calling themselves The Behavior Panel posted their YouTube interpretations of the nonverbal cues accompanying Obama’s remarks. And 44 wasn’t the only authority getting x-rayed. Reviewing UFO-related video snippets from Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Donald Trump, former National Intelligence directors John Ratcliffe and James Clapper, and former CIA directors Leon Panetta and John Brennan, these boys had a field day. Led by Scott Rouse, trained in interrogation techniques taught by the FBI, the Secret Service, the Defense Department and military intelligence, fellow analysts Greg Hartley, Chase Hughes and Mark Bowden jumped on every nervous, uncomfortable or incongruous physical and vocal tic the UFO questions elicited. To be sure, the field of kinesics is plenty controversial. Although evidence extracted from nonverbal behaviors has been used to build criminal cases, some behaviorists and psychologists blast the whole lot of it as a pseudoscience more engaged with entertainment than gathering empirical data. I’m not smart enough to know one way or the other. But watching these guys going deep on the granularity of micro-behaviors is definitely entertaining. A ‘complete deflection back to the interviewer’ We see Obama’s performance getting dissected into segments like “lateral boundary hand movement, which is pretty uncharacteristic behavior for him.” When shown the Navy night-vision vids of triangles shadowing U.S. warships off California in 2019, Bush lapses into “more lip pursing, more avoidance . . . a complete deflection back to the interviewer.” My personal favorite is The Panel’s take on Panetta, offering a subtle negative head shake that appears to contradict his unambiguous suggestion that the technology comes from Russia and/or China. “His blink rate’s through the roof . . . to ludicrous speeds,” offers Hughes, who says Panetta’s response is atypical of his demeanor before Congress over the years. “This is not his baseline.” Adds Hartley, “This is out of character, and those things indicate deception.” But the real eye-opener surrounded Obama’s top spy John Brennan. In January 2018, a month after the NY Times broke the news about the DoD’s secret UFO program, I got a chance to toss Brennan a question during a brief press conference in Sarasota. His unruffled endorsement of the Pentagon’s continuing UFO “endeavors” was unremarkable, and he fielded it with the ease of an ordinary policy question. Nearly three years later, however, Brennan’s body language was – according to The Behavior Panel – revealing a dramatically different story. In a December 2020 podcast interview with the director of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, Brennan was asked for his best guess about the origin of UFOs. He rambled and dodged and ultimately managed to say UFOs “might in fact be some type of phenomenon that is the result of something that, um, we don’t yet understand, and that could involve some type of um, activity that, uh, some might uh, say, uh, constitutes a, a different form of life.” It wasn’t so much what Brennan said (zilch) as how he said zilch. Over the course of the wide-ranging podcast, the career spook rarely made eye contact with show host Tyler Cowen. But it was his reaction to Cowen’s brief UFO query – the forced chuckle, the downcast gaze, the hand to side of the face, fingers pressing into the forehead – that animated The Behavior Panel into pronouncements like these: The man is ‘tortured’ inside … “He’s eye-blocking so he doesn’t have to deal with it,” “His behavior is different from everything we’ve seen or will see . . . that’s the behavior you see when somebody knows they’ve done something wrong and they’re tortured by it . . . I know when I’ve seen it, that person, inside, they’re a wreck, they’re a mess,” “For lack of a better term, I think it’s a bit of a resistance technique.” Well, much had changed in Brennan’s world from early ’18 to late ’20. Congress had begun to smell a rat on the UFO front, new and legacy media platforms were reassessing the evidence, and even mainstream planetary scientists were complaining to Scientific American of a sneaking impression that they’d been bamboozled for decades by the feds. In short, by the end of 2020, the lumbering ship of state appeared on the verge of making an unparalleled course correction. Maybe inner-circle lifers like John Brennan knew more about the icebergs ahead than they could let on – but not nearly enough to prepare us for how to process what’s coming. What’s coming are galloping, off-the-shelf technologies and aggressive entrepreneurship that isn’t waiting for Uncle Sam to get his *bleep* together. One of my regrets – especially after watching the conclusion of the History channel’s latest installment of “The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch” – is that Clyde Good and Bud Evans aren’t around for the show. Utah real estate baron Brandon Fugal has invested a fortune into turning a remote and controversial ranch – subjected to Defense Intelligence Agency scrutiny more than a decade ago – into a one-of-a-kind field research lab. A long-festering Petrie dish of alleged paranormal activity, Skinwalker Ranch is under vigilant surveillance by state-of-the-art sensors, and the baffling results are being released in installments for popular consumption. It was the data from S3 E10 that got me to thinking about Clyde and Bud. The episode concluded with a 3-D photogrammetry survey of Fugal’s entire 512-acre tract. When the drone-camera images were processed and overlayed, two “phantom structures” – invisible to the eye, yet substantive enough to leave a pair of geometrically-shaped pixelated artifacts suspended maybe 100 feet in mid-air – materialized on the digital map. What was it? Guess we’ll just have to wait until Season 4 to find out. That’s showbiz, folks. Anyhow, in 1950, shortly before the eruption of the Korean War, Norman “Bud” Evans and Clyde Good were attached to the 9th Fighter Squadron in Misawa, Japan. The Air Force was phasing out its World War II P-51 prop jobs for F-80 jet fighters, but the Mustang pilots still rehearsed their gunnery drills. Target practice involved going after tow planes dragging bullseye banners, roughly 8-feet tall and 30 feet long, suspended on 800 feet of cable. ‘I’m not going to live forever’ Evans was in the air for training exercises when he heard a pilot vent his surprise over the radio: “We’ve got a target, but no tow ship.” A ground radar operator dispatched Evans to the sector, but the phantom had vanished by time Evans made the rendezvous. He joined two pilots for a debriefing, both of whom said they had approached and flanked a rectangular UFO, an estimated three times the size of their gunnery target. The pilots could even see each other’s planes silhouetted through what they compared to “translucent glass,” maybe just a few inches wide. The obstacle then shot off. Later, Evans and a wingman were scrambled to join a third pilot reporting a large, thin, broad rectangle moving erratically over Hokkaido. Once again, the thing disappeared into cloud cover before they could intercept. Shortly thereafter, Evans and nearly everyone else stood by the runway at Misawa, awaiting a VIP base inspection posse. But then, from the east, just moments before the brass arrived, a familiar sight broke in line. Evans: “I knew as soon as I saw it that this is what the guys had seen before, and it was right ahead of where the C-54 was going to come. It was quite large.” Retired lieutenant colonel Clyde Good was there, too: “It was coming in pretty slow, and at first we all thought it was a tow target. So I’m looking for its power source, and there were no props, no jet engines, no visible means of propulsion, and it doesn’t make a sound. But it was definitely under control of somebody or something, because it then pulled straight up, like a bat out of hell and took off, just disappeared.” Evans and Good caught up with each other, decades later, by accident, on Florida’s Space Coast, where they were neighbors. They never forgot what they saw, didn’t care who knew it, and told the newspaper all about it in 2002. How, after all, were military pilots supposed to train for something that commanded their airspace and openly mocked their weaponry? “I’m not going to live forever,” Good grumbled. “But nobody ever talks about it. It’s like everyone’s in denial.” The old pilots probably would’ve gotten a kick out of the photogrammetry images of the stealth structures suspended above Skinwalker Ranch. They might also have enjoyed watching the fluttering eyelids of retired IC bigwigs on the hot seat, or watching five current or former presidents trying to shrug it all off with good-natured chuckles. Clyde, however, died in 2012 at 88. Bud passed in 2020. He was 95. lifeinjonestown.substack.com/p/nervous-smiles-and-fluttering-eyelids

nypost.com/2023/05/10/jimmy-carter-ufo-sighting-what-he-really-thought/What Jimmy Carter really thought about UFOs — and why he hid itBy Alex Mitchell / nypost.com/author/alex-mitchell/May 10, 2023 After reportedly spotting a UFO in 1969, then would-be President Jimmy Carter was inspired to speak to the American people on the need for greater transparency on the subject of extraterrestrial life. NY Post photo composite It was out of this world, y’all. In 1969, Jimmy Carter, along with ten others, witnessed what the to-be president called a “very remarkable sight” in the skies over Georgia. “As bright as the moon and about as big,” he later wrote of the unidentified flying object in a report to the Oklahoma City-based International UFO Bureau, while governor of the Peach State. “[The object] seemed to move toward us from a distance, stopped, moved partially away, returned, then departed. Bluish at first, then reddish, luminous, not solid,” he wrote descriptively. The experience stirred the would-be No. 39 to bring UFO’s into the conversation during his campaign in 1976. “If I become President, I’ll make every piece of information that this country has about UFO sightings available to the public,” he told the American people. “I am convinced that UFOs exist because I have seen one.” Today, Carter’s promise of transparency is considered to have made a major contribution to the conversation surrounding intelligent life beyond Earth — even if he wasn’t always happy he’d stuck his neck out on the subject. “Jimmy Carter is responsible for releasing about half of the government’s UFO files to the public,” Grant Cameron, author of the new book “Jimmy Carter: Paranormal and UFO Tales,” out Thursday, told The Post. Cameron, whose book consists of archived information from the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum and more dated reports of the time, explained that Carter became known as “the UFO president” for the move — a reputation that haunts the humble peanut farmer, now 98, to this day. “He probably just regrets he ever brought up in his life … it’s not something that he wanted out. It was something was forced upon him by making this statement to a gaggle of reporters,” Cameron said. Among the thousands of pages openly released were reports from numerous instances of the inexplicable — including two major events involving the United States military and international forces. One happened over the skies of Tehran, Iran, in 1976 “between Iranian Air Force jets and a UFO,” according to NSA documents on the incident. The fighters, two F-4 Phantom II jets, reported a UFO playing “cat and mouse” with them, “paralyzing” their weapons and electronics systems when the jets attempted to open fire on it.” The second event is one that reportedly happened in the United States in 1967 at Montana’s Malmstrom Air Force Base, where Air Force Capt. Robert Salas observed 10 ballistic missiles which suddenly stopped operating in tandem when an unknown glowing red object flying overhead, CBS reported. There were several other occasions where UFO sightings were said to have coincided with missile malfunction at the base. Similar instances were reported in England and the Soviet Union as well. www.howandwhys.com/jimmy-carter-ufo-briefing/This US President Cried After He Found Disturbing Alien Information In UFO BriefingLast updated: 2023/04/20 by Vicky Verma / In 1973, before the presidential elections, yet to become President, Jimmy Carter filed a report with the International UFO Bureau claiming he had seen a UFO in October 1969. Along with other witnesses, Carter saw a bright UFO that changed colors and moved towards and away from the Earth before disappearing. He was quite vocal about his beliefs on UFOs and promised to public all available information about UFOs if he became president. “He described waiting outside for a Lion’s Club Meeting in Leary, Georgia, to begin, at about 7:30 p.m., when he spotted what he called ‘the darndest thing I’ve ever seen’ in the sky.” Along with 10 to 12 other witnesses, Carter observed a bright object in the sky, which was about the size of the moon. (Source) “We all saw it. And then the light, it got closer and closer to us. And then it stopped, I don’t know how far away, but it stopped beyond the pine trees. And all of a sudden it changed color to blue, and then it changed to red, then back to white,” Carter told GQ in 2005. The object reportedly hovered about 30 degrees above the horizon, moved towards and away from the Earth, and eventually disappeared into the distance. Carter’s experience led him to make a vow to never again ridicule individuals who claimed to have seen a UFO. “One thing’s for sure, I’ll never make fun of people who say they’ve seen unidentified objects in the sky. If I become President, I’ll make every piece of information this country has about UFO sightings available to the public and the scientists,” Carter said. As for the object that Carter saw, it has since been classified as “a high altitude barium release cloud launched from Eglen AFB,” which sounds legit. However, after winning the presidency, Carter backed away from this promise, citing concerns about national security and defense implications. His experience with a UFO is just one of many reported sightings that have fueled conspiracy about extraterrestrial life and government cover-ups. President Carter’s Disturbing Briefing on UFOs and Religion Former NASA researcher Ed Harris claimed that serious researchers on the subject believe the story of former President Jimmy Carter crying after being briefed about classified UFO information to be true. According to the story corroborated by multiple witnesses, U.S. presidents are given only a brief overview of the subject by the CIA, and presidential curiosity is not considered a sufficient need to know. After being repeatedly stonewalled, Carter was given “the talk,” which reportedly left him deeply sobbing and visibly disturbed for weeks. He was told that major religions, including Christianity, were created by extraterrestrials to prevent humans from destroying themselves while they ran experiments on us, and that they made us. Carter, a deeply religious man who had witnessed a UFO with six other people, realized that releasing such information could cause tremendous economic and social upheaval. According to Ed Harris, this is why President Carter cried after his UFO Briefing: pic.twitter.com/Cl5W4moI3g — bob Johnson (@bobjo78940026) March 21, 2023 Below you can read Ed Harris’ statement on the subject that he wrote on Quora: Yes, the incident of Jimmy Carter crying after being briefed about classified information regarding UFO’s is largely believed to be true by the serious researchers on the subject. As a forewarning, the following information is very unsettling and will explain why Carter never “kept his promise” of revealing classified UFO information to the public. According to the story that was corroborated by more than one witness, U.S. presidents are only given a cursory overview of the subject. Apparently, the CIA runs the program, only provide information to the President on a need to know basis, and do not consider presidential curiosity as sufficient need to know. This was implemented after Kennedy, and all presidents after him have been given only summary briefings (some presidents for unknown reasons were given more than others). Okay on to your question. President Carter is a deeply religious man who had also witnessed a UFO with 6 other people. Everyone thought that he would be the one to finally release UFO info to the public but as the story goes, he was repeatedly stonewalled. Eventually, the CIA had “the talk” with him, and afterward it was reported that he sunk his head in his hands and not only began to deeply sob, but was visibly disturbed for some weeks afterward. What was he told and shown? He was told that the major religions including Christianity were programs created by extraterrestrials to prevent us from destroying ourselves while they ran their experiments on us – and that they made us. At this moment it became clear to Carter that such information could cause tremendous economic and social upheaval. I should add that I am not only a Christian but a clergyman, so I am in no way attempting to promote atheism here. In fact, how God fits into this might be an interesting separate post. Nevertheless, these are the facts as I know them to be. Author and world’s leading UFO researcher Richard Dolan also writes about this incident in his book “UFOs and the National Security State: The Cover-Up Exposed.” According to his book, there are claims that President Carter was given a UFO briefing at the White House on June 14, 1977, which he was then bound to secrecy about. In 1977, he was approached by his friend Marcia Smith, who informed him that President Carter had demanded that the CIA provided classified information about unidentified flying objects to him, but George H. Bush, who was the CIA director at the time, refused to give this information to the president. Sheehan tried to obtain information on the UFO phenomena and extraterrestrials from the Vatican Library but was unsuccessful. However, with Carter’s help, he managed to get access to the classified portions of the Air Force’s Project Blue Book for a few hours in May 1977, where he claimed to have discovered classified documents and photographs of a crashed UFO being investigated by Air Force personnel. “There were these photographs of unmistakable — of a UFO sitting on the ground. It had crashed,” Sheehan said. “Apparently, it had hit into this field and had dug up, kind of plowed this kind of trough through this field,” he paused for a second. “It was wedged into the side of this bank,” he said after taking a deep breath. “There was snow all around the picture. The vehicle was wedged into the side of this mud-like embankment — kind of up at an angle. There was Air Force personnel. As I cranked the little handle and looked at additional photos, these Air Force people were taking pictures.” (Click here to read the full article) When Mr. Sheehan left the room, the guard asked to see his yellow legal pad and flipped through the pages, missing the alien hieroglyphs Sheehan had copied on the back of the pad. Sheehan offered to share this information with the religious establishment; they told him they were not interested. www.howandwhys.com/jimmy-carter-ufo-briefing/
