Just as interesting to find out how an object finally ended up being haunted, as I know of instances when an object can be haunted by several different "entities".

The story said that there were ghost handprints appearing in the mirror. Didn't Lois have a mirror with handprints appearing in it. I remember reading about it. I think it was her. The hands had really long fingers.

There were lots of haunted dolls in the story too. They remind me of that Chucky doll in that horror movie. Whatever it was called. I don't remember. I wondfer why so many dolls get haunted? Is it because they look kind of human? Maybe a ghost goes into the dolls because it doesn't want to leave after its body died and a dolls body was the closest thing to a human body that it could find.

There is a vintage WWII TIGER TANK in a war museum in England that has his last driver looking in on it, only problem is the window the "ghost" is peeking through is 10 feet off the ground. Go figure? Maybe a "ghost ladder?.
