It's amazing how many new animals are still being discovered. I remember a few years ago they found a new species of giant basking shark that floated along eating plankton. I think they called it a megamouth shark. Somehow nobody had ever seen one before. Finding previously unknown large species like that is very unusual. It's very rare for the species to be a primate. Of course since scientists still can't find bigfoot when he is wandering around in their own backyard I guess it shouldn't be surprising that it took them so long to find a blue-butted monkey.
