UFO and Buddhism - Ashin Ottama Uploaded on Feb 3, 2012 Immensity of life in the Universe. Buddhism has the list of 31 spheres of existence. Where would the 'Ufonauts' fit in? The chart of the spheres is in the wonderful book by Ven. Acara Suvanno Mahathera "The 31 Planes of Existence" -- you can download the pdf from www.buddhanet.net.

One of my favorite lines from Jurassic Park:
Tends to remind me of what WE do create. Religion, version and concept of God appropriate to that religion, penance and punishments for not obeying our self created religions. We have many to choose from and if they don't suit..create your own.
Of all of the religions..Eastern philosophy is by far the most interesting, peaceful (for the most part) and allows room for spiritual growth. I've always been fascinated by stories of Monks levitating..going without food or water for months..and healing. I'm sorry..but you just don't hear about Catholics, Mormons or 7th Day Adventists...levitating. I guess...I'm not the only one. You hear of people wandering off to experience life in Eastern monasteries..but you don't hear many of them coming to experience mass.
