I was awake for some time and getting ready to get out of bed at 6:30. I heard and felt the door in the basement slam- it is directly under my bed so there was no mistaking what it was. My husband didn't hear it or feel it but went downstairs to check it out. There was nothing that had been knocked over and the back door was locked with no sign of anyone anywhere.
My husband opened the door several times and shut if forcefully and it was the same vibration and sound. There are no other doors downstairs that could have slammed. Not sure what is happening but am definitely on edge as I know for a fact it was that door that slammed and no physical person did it.
I stayed at my MIL's house during last week's snow/ice storm as we lost power for two days. She and I used candles for light, ate PB & J sandwiches, read and talked. Friday night around 7:30 or so, she and I were talking about her now deceased husband. I adored my FIL and miss him so much. At 8:00, the clock on the mantle began chiming. MIL was very surprised as it hadn't chimed in many, many years. It chimed ever hour on the hour until 8:00 am Saturday and then stopped. I left not long after to run to our house and she said it didn't chime any more.
Weird things happening.

Sounds like you've been having a lot of paranormal activity lately. I wonder if it is you that is causing it somehow or if something is following you around? In another thread you were talking about poltergeists and the definition that I read said that poltergeists are attached to people rather than objects or places. Maybe something is trying to get your attention.

and, pretty cool that your husband went and checked it out for you. I'm just curious. . . what other "protection" do you use, spiritually and/or physically? I hate it when I hear these kinds of "noises" (disturbances) in my home.
