My name is Reinerio Hernandez but everyone calls me Rey. I am currently employed as an Estate Tax Attorney with the IRS in Miami, FL for almost 14 years. Previous to this, I was the Director of various environmental programs in the City of New York and previously attended graduate programs at Cornell University and UC Berkeley. I am a “Contactee” as well as my entire family.
Mary Rodwell and I are the Co-Founders of a new not-for-profit titled Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial Encounters (FREE). Some are our original Advisory Board members are Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Barbara Lamb, Dr. Rudy Schild (Emeritus Prof of Astro-Physics at Harvard), Dr. Jon Klimo, Ralph Steiner, Cynthia Crawford, Linda Moulton Howe, Denise Stoner, Dennis Briefer (President of the John Mack Institute), and many others. We have recently added several new members to our Board-- Whitley Strieber, Dr. Leo Sprinkle, and Kathleen Marden (MUFON’s Ufologist of the Year and Director of Abduction Research) to our distinguished Board of Advisors. Our website, CONTACTEE.ORG, will be open to the public on June 1st.
We are a very diverse group, with different opinions, but we all get along well and are working together in unison to help establish FREE. Our focus is to bring together scientists, researchers and experiencers with different opinions in the field of “ET Contact” and “Consciousness Studies/Quantum Physics”. We are establishing a “One Stop Shopping” location that will provide information about this phenomena from a diversity of viewpoints-- from science and physics of the ET Contact phenomenon to the perspective of various “star children” and their experiences.
To this effort we have 4 individuals with knowledge of advanced physics-- three board members (Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Dr. Rudy Schild, and Ralph Steiner) and one scientist who wishes to remain “anonymous”. We also have the top “researchers in the field of “ET Contact” (Dr. Leo Sprinkle, Mary Rodwell, Barbara Lamb, Whitley Strieber, Kathleen Marden, Denise Stoner, Ralph Steiner, Linda Moulton Howe, Cynthia Crawford, Dr. Jon Klimo, and many others). We also have at this time 25 experiencers as volunteers-- some are medical doctors, some are engineers, we even have 3 Ph.D. psychologists, while some work in the field of energy healing and regression therapy. There indeed is a diversity of experiencers in our FREE organization.
In addition, we will also be providing “support” and guidance to contactees and to this agenda item we have 7 licensed mental health therapists, either on our Board of Advisors or on our “Therapy Committee”, and 20 other “Contactee” volunteers in our Contactee Committee who will serve as a Contactee “Buddy”. Our Contactee chat board and experiencer videos will be established for the second phase of our web development which will be available by September of this year.
We are also undertaking the first ever comprehensive “academic” study of the “contact” experience and have a team of 8 experienced researchers in the ET contact field, each with at least 25 years experience in this research field. The Chair of this project is Dr. Jon Klimo, a professor of psychology with 40 years as a research and teaching professor, who has chaired over 250 Ph.D. dissertations in Psychology and 75 of these have been in the field of the “Paranormal”. The other members of our Research Committee are as follows: the pioneer of abduction research, Dr. Leo Sprinkle, MUFON’s Director of Abduction Research, Kathleen Marden, and other veterans in this field, Mary Rodwell, Barbara Lamb, Denise Stoner, and Ralph Steiner. Our website will have an initial quantitative survey instrument to help identify possible contactees and determine if they want to undertake a series of secondary qualitative and quantitative research instruments which are currently being developed.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT
FREE is an open air university and support network for anomalous contact experiencers and researchers alike. We provide guidance tools and connectivity to those who are willing to brave controversy in order to achieve a deeper understanding of humanity’s fundamental nature. FREE was created to bridge a gap between mainstream scientific thought and credible challenges from the deep unknown.
FREE is committed to bringing together diverse voices in the subject areas of human encounters with non-human intelligence and related phenomena. These interrelated subjects include alleged extraterrestrial encounters, contact with non-human intelligent entities from parallel worlds or other dimensions, plus associated manifestations that appear to violate known physical laws.
FREE has been established to provide a working environment for scientists, lay investigators, and first-hand experiencers of non-human contact to enter into collaboration. We believe that by fostering an ongoing conversation between diverse parties, that significant advances can indeed take place. Interdisciplinary partnerships are vital for recognizing and addressing some of the most profound, but often unacknowledged mysteries that confront human society today.
As a research and educational “think tank”, FREE is designed to support information exchanges between those who explore alleged ET contact phenomena and associated manifestations. Those additional manifestations, frequently classified as “paranormal”, may fall well within an expanded framework of modern physics. We therefore also support the continuing exposition of new scientific models and theories that can be utilized to clarify and unify a wide range of observations and experiences.
We are equally committed to upholding both the highest standards of scientific research, while maintaining a firm commitment to open-minded enquiry.
FREE is also committed to promoting interplay between traditional spiritual and philosophical approaches to anomalous contact phenomena and the work of contemporary science. We believe that these phenomena and the innovative new science that is exploring them are likely to propel significant social, cultural, and spiritual changes in the 21st Century; that our common ways of thinking are likely to change in very significant ways.
