rhinoshorror.com/2014/02/04/the-quiet-ones-and-its-true-story/Found that this sites' reviews of 3 movies that have come out in the past year (or so) were "interesting". Scary Movies. My kids enjoy this type of movie, and I try to do a little research . Last night when they were watching the "quiet ones" with a mixed crowd downstairs, I was sorely tempted to go shut it off. Way too much screaming from the film. The review of the "conjuring" seemed on target except for one detail; the people that live in this house now are tired of trespassers . I'll try to find the site that talks more about the "end result" from such hauntings. It was a site that also mentioned the current residents of the "Amityville horror" house.

The story about the Quiet Ones was interesting...or at least the idea of trying create a ghost. I had never heard of that one, hoax or not. I don't see how a ghost could be created though unless they respond to telepathic communication like aliens and UFOs sometimes do but even then they wouldn't be "creating" a ghost.
The Conjuring is an interesting story also because it is based on a very famous haunting. The people who investigated it also investigated the Amityville house. I never get to investigate anything cool like that though. Ghosts never show up when I want them to. Maybe I just need to find the right haunted house.
