How long before the cuts heal? Do they bruise at all? ooze blood?
(sorry about my comment about Missouri. I was being emotional more than normal that day. Yes, sometimes I think Mo. is haunted).

There was fresh blood on them when I first woke up. After that they heal normally. I can still see three of them but the other two are gone already. Still haven't figured out what was causing it. Haven't had any new ones the past couple of days though.

I had a dream a few days ago that I thought was kind of interesting. It mixed in with a bunch of nightmares about the usual stuff but the nightmares were short and just kind of jumped around all over the place. The dream was actually a real dream. I was going to write about it sooner but didn't get the chance. I think it occurred Monday night, or it might have been Sunday night. One of those or the other. The dream was about a rocket engine. It took place back during the 1960s and the US had just built a new rocket engine and they had built a little rolling platform that they could tow it around on to show it off. They were having a parade with this thing rolling along spewing fire out the back and President Kennedy was there riding in his limo with the top down and a big smile on his face waving to everybody and there were some reporters there and other people standing around watching and cheering. All of a sudden there was this huge explosion and the rocket engine blew up in a huge ball of fire and a big BOOOOOM!! There was a car that had two men in it, either reporters or Secret Service people, that was driving behind the rocket engine and their car got caught in the explosion and some big pieces of debris hit the car and crushed it. In the dream I saw it all happen like it was in slow motion and I even saw one of the men's heads get crushed by a piece of the debris. It was very weird. That was when I woke up. I know there were quite a few accidents that took place back during the space age but I don't ever remember hearing about anything like that happening, especially not when JFK was present. It must have just been a weird dream. It was kind of a coincidence though since that rocket just blew up in Virginia a couple of days ago.

sometimes I have dream sequences in slo-mo. It makes me pay "more attention", like I'm supposed to notice certain details. How about you?

I don't normally have slow motion dreams. I think this is the first one. Since it had JFK in it and he was riding in a limo in a parade and there was a tragedy involved I'm kind of suspecting that my dream may have been influenced by my having seen all the slow-motion films of his assassination. I've watched the Zapruder film about a gazillion times.

I just had a slo-mo dream this am! Guy was attacking me and I kept yelling - Help! And VERY SLOWLY people arrived - and then it sped up again and he was restrained and I was OK (although I had his freaked out partner and three children to deal with at the end of the dream!)

Had another weird dream last night. Sort of nightmarish but not to the point where I was really terrified like I am with the sharks and the dinosaurs. In this one I was standing about waste deep in water very close to the riverbank when I heard a huge splash behind me. I don't know why I was in the water but I wasn't fishing because as soon as I heard the splash I started wishing that I had a fishing pole so that I could catch whatever it that made the splash...assuming that it was a fish of course. It wasn't though. As I stood there looking at the spot where the splash occurred I saw something start rising up out of the water. It was sort of a large hump shape kind of like the Loch Ness monster would make. I quickly decided that it would be a good idea to get out of the water so I climbed up on the riverbank. Once I got out I stood there looking down in the water to try to see what the thing was and I thought I saw something that looked like tentacles, like from a giant squid or something. I then decided that it might be a good idea to get away from the water so I started walking through the tall grass and bushes. I hadn't gone more than a few steps when I noticed there was some kind of a weird animal in front of me. It looked like some deranged type of a rabid bobcat or something...big and ugly and freaky looking...and it was looking right at me. I thought maybe I could walk around it so I started moving along the riverbank but as soon as I did the ugly cat-thing started coming towards me. It was picking up speed and looked like it was going to attack! For a brief moment I turned around and wondered if I should jump back into the water to get away from it but I knew that the tentacle Loch Ness thingy was in there and if I jumped in it might grab me. I'm not sure what exactly I did because that was where the dream ended. I wasn't really scared during or after this dream. There was a little concern about being attacked by these things but it was more like I was trying to decided how to deal with it rather than getting the heck scared out of me like the sharks do. And what I find really interesting is that at no time did the thought of sharks even cross my mind even though every time there is water in one of my dreams that is usually what comes leaping up out of it. It was like I knew there weren't any sharks there. That's kind of interesting.

You are in lucid dreaming - gaining control. I sure its easier to deal with tentacled things and rabid bobcats and such that way.

I had a dream about Kate Middleton last night. The Princess...that Kate Middleton. The one who's a babe. (And no it wasn't that kind of a dream.) I dreamed that she and I were in the desert somewhere, possibly in the middle east and there were a bunch of people who were trying to kill her or capture her. I was trying to fight them off but there were thousands of them and they just kept coming. They had guns and knives and all sorts of weapons and I was shooting back with whatever guns I could get my hands on. I also had a sword too and I was also fighting them with that. I was getting hurt pretty bad but I kept fighting. At one point I got thrown over the side of a cliff and I thought they were going to get her but I climbed back up and started fighting again. Later on we were back at the palace or whatever it is in England and Kate and the prince dude were there except in the dream they were king and queen. They were going to have a ceremony to make me a knight but I got into an argument with the King because I refused to kneel down before him. I said I wouldn't kneel before any man. Everybody was panicking and wondering what to do and then Kate asked if I would kneel before her and I said yes because she wasn't a man, she was a woman and I didn't say anything about not kneeling before a woman. So she was the one who performed the ceremony. That was the end of the dream. I know it's a silly thing to dream about but it's better than most of the weird crap that goes through my head at night. When I woke up I think I knew how the knights must have felt back in the old days...to pledge their loyalty and devotion to a king or queen...to be willing to give their lives to protect them. That's sort of the way I felt in that dream...like I would have done anything for her. I don't think I could ever do that in real life though, especially not with any of the blundering bubble-headed political leaders we have in this country. I think they are all a bunch of idiots. I wouldn't kneel down before any of those clowns even if you paid me a million dollars.

I keep having dreams about the ghost dance. I don't really know much about the ghost dance other than it was a Native American dance that was popular in the late 1880s and 90s. It supposedly was supposed to reunite people with the spirits of their departed loved ones or something like that. The white folks thought it was a preparation for war and slaughtered a bunch of innocent villagers. That's about all I know about it. In my dream somebody is trying to teach me to do the ghost dance. Don't know who or why but it does seem to have a Native American influence. I've had several dreams about it already. Kind of weird.
