Here is the latest nightmare that I had. It happened a few days ago but I forgot to write it down...I'm guessing probably about the 9th. That sounds like a good guess so that is what I will put. This dream was not about sharks, but about a bear instead. I sometimes dream about other animals besides sharks, but they are always predators...lions, bears, T-rex, dogs, snakes, alligators, etc... They are still probably 50% sharks though. September 9, 2011I was out riding an ATV alone in the woods when I came upon a bear on the trail in front of me. It was a big brown grizzley bear that put his head down and started shaking it back and forth like he was really angry...or hungry. Whichever it was, I had no intention of stopping to find out so I rode away as fast as I could. By the time I got back to my truck it was night time and was very dark out but there was a little light from a street light. I was walking up behind my truck and when I got right to the rear of the trailer I noticed there was something moving inside of the cab of the truck. My mind immediately thought about the bear and I slowly began creeping forward half expecting the furry beast to leap out and put the chomps on me. As I got closer something did leap out...but it was two people instead. I asked them what they had been doing in my truck and they looked surprised and said that they must have made a mistake, but when I demanded to know who they were they took off running. I started chasing after them but after a few steps I decided it wasn't worth the effort so I turned around and headed back to the truck. As I did I noticed that they had left the door open. I started to climb in when I suddenly noticed what was hiding inside...the bear! That's when I woke up. A little while later I went to sleep again and once again I had a nightmare. This time it was about a dinosaur, or rather several of them. I was actually a dinosaur myself. How weird is that? In my dream I was a dinosaur with a little dino egg that I was trying to protect from a T-rex that was chasing after me. I was trying to climb up a hill to get away from the ferocious beast and I was rolling the egg along in front of me. Then the egg hatched and a little baby dino came out and I started pushing him along up the hill, telling him to run away because the T-rex was coming. I kept pushing and pushing and the T-rex kept getting closer and closer...and then I woke up again. That has to be one of the more weird dreams that I have had. Not as weird as the one about the man-eating ping-pong balls which is the all time weirdest dream anybody other than Stephen King has ever had, but still weird. As usual, I don't have a clue what, if anything, it means.

I had another dream a couple of days ago. It wasn't really a dream but more of an image that I saw for a few seconds. September 14, 2011I dreamed that I was standing in a huge room, like a warehouse or a meat packing plant, that had human body parts hanging down from the ceiling. There were hundreds of arms and legs and human bodies hanging there and I was standing their in shock looking at it all. It just about made me want to puke. Then the image faded away and was gone. Not one of the nicest dreams I ever had.

The coincidence of that is beyond bizarre...I'm reading a book called Restoree..science fiction but..it's about a particularly nasty race of beings that harvest other races..and the heroine's memory was of a large cargo hold full of human body parts hanging from meat hooks...when I read that I felt the same wave of sick that I felt reading yours just now. I don't want to be in your head Sky

No one wants to be in my head, Jo...they would get lost in all of that empty space in there. When did you read about the cargo hold full of body parts? I remember way back when we were doing that group meditation experiment that one time you and I both had the exact same vision. Maybe when I was dreaming I might have tuned into your thoughts while you were reading the book. It could happen.

Yes it could..we had that connection before..would have been 3 or 4 days ago that I hit that part of the book..I'm not sure which but 3 I think. I just may be that some of the people here have a connection brought about by similar experience or we had one to begin with and it interests them. I'm starting to think nothing's strange anymore.

Hmm...interesting. If you read about it on the 13th that would have been the same night that I had the weird dream. That is an interesting coincidence.

We did something similar once before Lorelei..in fact several of us had similar 'visions' but Sky's and mine were the same. I am really starting to think there is something to the connection thing and being drawn to a forum to meet and find that we have abductions or encounters in common and maybe it's freakier than that..maybe they follow some strange connectivity or cause it. I can't know for certain but I don't know that I was 'psychic' before the first encounter I had or not..I just know that I was after that and it's increasing. I don't think that's special..I think everyone has the potential but maybe their messing around in our heads..kick starts it or activates it.. Explain everyone's bruises...? Are they back again because of something impending?? I didn't like them the first time...I'm no fonder of them now..

I'm not fond of them either Jo...
I know about the meditation experiment. You and skywalker have mentioned it a few times before... I can't explain the bruises either... or the ringing in my ear lately...
...all I know is that Linewave told me I would be visited by "them"... and he told me to prepare myself for it... seven years ago. I really really don't want that to come true... but almost everything else he has told me has come true too... and... I'm dating a guy who has a pilot's license now... ROTFLOL... just like he said I would...
~defeated sigh~
So much for having control of my own fate. So much for any of us having control of our fate...
Just sit back and wait I guess. That's what I have to do. Just wait for the pieces of the puzzle to fall into place... whether I like the picture it will be or not...

We always have control of our own fate! Always. We are given paths..we choose to walk them or not. Nothing is carved in stone..but listening to our 'intuition' is vital. If we ignore our feelings, signs that we are given and inclinations, then the road gets rocky. If you have a squishy feeling in your stomach about someone and you ignore it..you reap the consequences. I've been there enough times to know this is fact. Sometimes we're really good at seeing only what we want to see and ignoring our own warnings. Our choice to learn from our mistakes or profit from them, be a better stronger person and move on. This is certainly a time for the unusual to manifest itself and I don't have a clue about bruises or anything else..except to wait and see where it all goes. Could be an interesting trip after all

I had another one of my shark nightmares last night. It was typical of the many shark dreams that I have. October 10, 2011I was in the water with another person treading water next to me. There was another guy floating about a hundred yards away. A huge great white shark was circling us.
There was a wooden raft floating in the water ahead of us and we were all swimming trying to reach it. I could see the shark coming towards us. It swam right next to me and brushed against me then it turned and headed towards the guy who was furthest away. We thought the guy was going to get eaten but instead the shark turned away and started coming back.
Me and the guy next to me swam harder trying to make the raft and as we got close to it the shark went down under the water. I knew it was coming for me.
The first guy made it to the raft and I helped him get on to it, then he turned around and tried to pull me up. As I was trying to climbon the shark suddenly exploded out of the water and tried to grab my legs which were still in the water...and that's when I woke up. This dream actually scared me more than usual. I had trouble getting back to sleep and just laid there tossing and turning for a couple of hours. Typical...

I've been having bad dreams the past several days but I haven't been able to remember them. I definitely remembered that last one though.

I'm positive Sky that the sharks represent the greys and the dreams are motivated by your abduction. The full moon has a LOT of energy..I have more flashes then and even dreams lately.

I agree that the sharks probably represent the greys...but I still don't know what the full moon has to do with it. I still can't make any connection between the two.

The full moon affects us all... not just us females. A friend of mine did this as a project for the science fair back in high school. He called all the local police stations and got statistics on arrests and discovered that during the full moon the numbers were much much higher than during other moon phases. He also checked at the local hospitals. More women had babies on a full moon than not. And, of course everyone knows that the moon affects a woman's cycle... but it also seems to affect men. Anyone know where the word "Lunatic" comes from?

Some people are more effected by the full moon than others..people who are 'psychic' have more visions..more experiences on full moons because there is a huge amount of energy. We are part of all of the universe..made of the same stuff. As the moon effects the tides..so does it effect us. Energy bursts from the sun not only has effect on appliances it effects our brains too because brain impulses are also electrical energy. More and more chaos in people from it. I used to call it being 'moon struck' but the full moon can almost put someone in a trance. Our grim little buddies may use that to their own ends too.

That's an interesting thought. I wonder if abductions increase during the full moon? Of course it would be difficult to tell since many people don't even remember that they were abducted until years later, or they just don't want to admit that it happened. I guess it would be practically impossible to verify. What about UFO sightings? Do they increase during the full moon?

I don't know..but I kind of doubt it. I think they would rather not be so visible as a full moon would make them

I had some really weird dreams last night. They weren't exactly nightmares but were really freaky, and they kept coming one after the other. I would wake up from one then go back to sleep and a few minutes later I would be awake again. Here are a few of the ones I remember, October 28, 2011In the first dream I was driving through an electrical storm with my best friend. This was no ordinary thunderstorm though. It was like the entire world was being bombarded with lightning and electricity. As I drove along lightning was flashing all around, sparks were raining down on us, power lines exploded and all heck was breaking loose. There was one instance where a tree got struck with lightning and the grass and leaves sizzled with electricity. Bright white light was everywhere.
It was an amazing thing to see, even if it was just a dream.
The next dream I had was about a baby triceratops that was in a pen, like a wooden coral, and he kept trying to get out and I was trying to keep him in. Like I said, not a nightmare because it was just a baby dinosaur but still weird.
After that came a white bear, but it was not a polar bear. It was more like a white grizzly. It was in a room and there was a young woman there that I did not recognize, but she opened the door and the bear came charging out at her. It only got halfway out the door though then it seemed like time stopped and then went in reverse so the bear went back inside. Then it came out again...then went back in...then out again...then back in. It kept doing that over and over again.
After that came a dream about a creature that looked kind of like an ostrich but without any feathers...like a dinosaur almost but very ostrich-like. It was also in the pen and was trying to get out and i was trying to keep it in just like the other dinosaur. Once again, it was not a nightmare because it was just a little ostrich type critter and it wasn't very aggressive...it just kept trying to get out. That makes four different dreams...one about electricity and the other about three creatures that were trying to get away while I was trying to keep them locked up. I know there has got to be some symbolism there somewhere because my dreams are usually symbolic of something and it is usually pretty obvious...but what the heck do these mean? Any ideas?

Me? I donno? The first thing I thought (and if you had been a client I wouldn't have told you this) was that these dreams are very similar to dreams I have sometimes. Dinosaurs in a sort of rodeo (me) baby dinosaur in a cage and another bird like dinosaur (you). Tornadoes with lightening that I'm fascinated and afraid of at the same time (me, MANY dreams like that) intense electrical storm (you recently.) I don't do bears but did you know that there are white bears in northern BC that are not albinoes (they have brown eyes and range in color from very white to blonde and cinnamon - they are a variety of grizzy bears and are called Spirit Bears and are protected). As for sharks, brrrr...I don't dream about them much now that I don't go into the ocean anymore. The fact that you helped someone first and that you managed to wake up before being grabbed seems like a good sign. A variety of lucid dreaming? If that dream has anything to do with an abduction - maybe if there's a next time you'll be awake and able to remember. Maybe. You may have been psychically "touched".

I didn't know that you had dreams about dinosaurs, Paulette. I don't remember reading about them in your dream thread...but then again, I don't remember what I had for breakfast this morning either. I have dinosaur dreams all the time. I have had a few about tornadoes also, and like you I always seem to be fascinated by them. While everybody else (in the dream) are cowering in fear I am always trying to go out and take a picture of them. That's pretty much what I do in real life too. I don't think I have ever been afraid of a tornado but I do always try to take pictures of them. That is interesting about the Spirit bears too. I had no idea there was such an animal. I have heard of the glacier bear which has kind of a bluish tint to it but not the white ones. That sounds just like what I saw in my dream though. The bear was white but it did have dark brown eyes and it had the look of a grizzly. I'm going to see if I can find a picture of one.

I had a nosebleed yesterday and a nightmare last night. The Moon is almost full again. I still don't know why it keeps happening when the Moon is full. Here is the silly dream that I had. December 12, 2011I dreamed that I was in an old factory that was located in the jungle so there were plants and trees and stuff all around. The factory was rundown and old and looked kind of like the buildings in the second Jurassic Park movie after they had been abandoned for years.
There were a couple of other dudes there who were sitting down eating lunch but I didn't know who they were. There was also a high ledge up against one wall that I was trying to get up to for some reason but couldn't reach it. (This is the silly part) Since I couldn't get up there I stood up and gave a mighty Tarzan yell and a elephant came tromping out of the jungle and lifted me up so I could reach the ledge. I grabbed on to it and was pulling myself up when a giant rabid man-eating rat came out of nowhere and bit me on the finger. I then fell down onto the ground...and woke up.When I awoke it was 4am and I had a really bad feeling, but it wasn't about aliens or UFOs or anything. Instead, it was about the stupid government. I just felt like everything was going to heck and we are on our way to being a communist country and we are all doomed. Don't know why I felt that way since the government had nothing to do with the dream...unless there is some weird symbolism there. I suppose the rabid rat could have been Obama. I felt so crappy that I couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to get up and type on the computer a little bit then go to work.

I suppose it could possibly have some weird symbolism associated with how I feel about the situation in the country right now. The Republican party is represented by an elephant (the Democrats are Jackasses...how fitting ;D) so maybe in my dream the Republicans are trying to lift people up but Obama and the demonrats knock everybody back down again. The rundown raggedy condition of the building could be symbolic of the crappy state that the economy is in right now. That sounds like something my mind would think up. I have no idea what Tarzan had to do with it though...

The full moon has a LOT of energy..I have more flashes then and even dreams lately. Why does a full moon have more energy? The whole Moon is up there even when it isn't full, so the gravity doesn't change...it's just the light that changes. Does the extra light have something to do with the increase in energy? I know that the light from a full moon does have weird effects on people for a variety of different reasons.
