www.trulia.com/property/3161980750-Ryan-s-Ridge-28806-SE-Ryan-Rd-Blue-Springs-MO-64014#photo-1I know, I know. I'm "reaching" here; there's no proof this house is any way haunted, and what I'm saying could be construed as slander/libel because this house is for sale. I'll take the risk. Who knows? It might help sell the house . I have "dreamed" of this house, including the inside, more than once. I don't have any idea why. I had driven down this road over a year ago while house searching, and can honestly say I never noticed it. I even took pictures of other houses on this road. If you google-earth the address, there is actually a rural or "farm road" directly next to its driveway that goes back into the woods, connects with a large house, a couple of ponds not at all visible from the road, and connects to another road in the wooded area. There is also a large house foundation down the road of a house that never got built (and very overgrown) and the house East of this property is a regular house for sale. This is all directly behind the newer high school, barely off the beaten path, but "a world unto its own".

Have you ever been inside of it? Were the dreams good or not so good?

(sorry about frequent posts. I'm making sure my PC is saving things correctly ). Anyway, it appears that great care was taken in the design and construction of this house. The driveway, all the way from the road is beautiful brick, and the statues are all still there lining the driveway (I have since driven by this area again). I love the breezeway, and the way the back of the house looks in the pictures (haven't seen anything but the front, personally). The b-ball court is directly next to the house (west side), and not really visible from the front of the house because of overgrowth. The backyard is small, and lawn immediately ends at overgrown wooded area. The dirt/gravel road directly next to the property is seperated by a few feet from the brick driveway, by typical farm-style barb-wired fence. It gives it a weird feeling, plus the overgrowth of weeds. Its hard to see from pictures, but all the front windows have a fine metal design over the windows. Something an artist has designed, but yet feels kind of 'symbolic'. The website states their are bedrooms, but doesn't show them, and only shows one small bathroom after bragging it has 3 full size bathrooms on the first floor. Built in 2004 (unfinished ?) but the only way it even looks lived-in is the rooms that show carpet stains. . . even on the back porches there seems to still be extra support beams that were never taken down, or the porches are unstable? A lot of the houses in nearby subdivisions have swimming pools; like one in 4 houses. Why did this person choose a b-ball court instead? Just speculation, of course. Did someone design this house for their personal taste, definitely had money, but changed their mind about settling down here? There are some beautiful houses, well off the road, with beautiful landscaped lawns and wrought iron fences and gates (with speaker boxes), on down the road. But even in broad daylight I was very uncomfortable driving around on these roads. Nice lawns and then unkempt woods. Little bigger than one-lane roads with almost no shoulders and deep ditches. One-lane bridge. Old, run down houses and trailers spotted among the new, large well-kept homes. Almost a complete deed-ended area, save for one road that eventually links up to the Lake/Jacomo/Blue Springs Lake Parks. There are other areas like this in Blue Springs, reminding one just how much this "burg" has developed in the last 30-50 yrs., and you get the feeling that some of these families have lived here for ? hundreds of years ? Just a creepy feeling. I guess i could call a realtor and get a good look at this house, but a part of me is very curious, while another part wants to never see this place at all. Not even drive down this road again. I'm baffled by these strong feelings.

Have you ever been inside of it? Were the dreams good or not so good? The dreams were "personal", but fragmented. I actually drew this houses' floor plan out as a 'dream house' when I was a kid (the lay-out as far as I know). I like the house (as far as I know), but the dreams are ambivalent and weird because they are so fragmented. You can imagine my creep-out when I ran across it on a house-hunting site (just looking at fall of local house prices, etc.). How 'bout them trees next to the b-ball court?

Picture number (9) gives you more of an idea how the area looks from inside the house.
Of course all the other pictures (realtor-type) make it look like a bright and sunny environment.

That house is huuuuuge!! It makes mine look like a dog house. It's probably too new to have any ghosts in it. Maybe in a hundred years it might have some. I think you should go spend the night in it just to make sure.

I think you should go spend the night in it just to make sure. Well, they say people who live in the "bible-belt" area tend to think more about "demons and evil" than harmless ghosts. I guess I would agree. I see these overly stained carpets next to pretty painted walls, and think "newly painted" . carpets don't get that stained from simply construction workers, IMO. I think, close proximity to the high school, small town, wooded area, and vandalized empty house walls, with satanic symbols.

Here's another picture of the area. Its hard to see, but almost in the very center of picture is the large "farm house" that has two dirt/gravel roads leading up to it from the main road. Bottom left is the "creepy house'. Now that I think about it, especially since it doesn't show any bedrooms, and Casper's observation about its size, doesn't it look more like a clubhouse, or lodge? I don't think it's been "abandoned" long, since the statues are all there and intact. As for being 'haunted', the land could have a reputation, the house could have had a recent crime/murder there. . . Its really just kind of sad. If I had the money, its one of those places I'd like to buy and fix up. Especially since I've dreamed of it several times. But how many times have people had the urge to fix a house up, and then been suddenly convinced they shouldn't have?

I tried going by this house last week to take a few pictures.
There were 3 to 4 cars in the driveway, and the for sale sign was gone. It is still for sale on the 'net. I guess it could be a pending sale.
