Fascinating. He was an investigator who held memories of a dream/or not in the past.
When is a wall not a wall? When it isn't there (hard to accept), when one is no longer INSIDE the house (easier to imagine).
What is the story on this man? Is this a new revelation? Is he still an investigator??

I've always wondered...how many people would have abduction memories if they had the means to unlock them. I don't think so much that the abductors wave a wand and everyone forgets..I think our own brains are helpful to them in that respect. Some begin to remember others never do (my friend who can't even remember the day). I think parts of it will never surface for me..parts my own brain says..nah you don't need that junk. I don't trust hypnotherapy. Not the therapists..the brain. Is it possible that (lets take it for granted for a moment that everyone believes in reincarnation) the brain has memory of all lives? Does it draw on stored memories as some gigantic data base? Does it invent answers to questions asked under hypnosis? I have no idea what the thing does when I'm not 'awake' I do know when I dream they are pretty convoluted things. I'm not even sure what it's up to when I'm awake..I doubt the whole thing is engaged in my walking..talking..breathing etc. ..just a fraction..what is the REST of it up to?? I could be living another life dancing on Jupiter for all I know..or playing ping pong on the astral plane. We are living breathing miracles actually but we pretty much take it for granted and never really take trips within.
Back to the original idea..I'm guess-ta-mating...that at least 1/4 of the entire world population have had encounters. I'm also guessing that's a low estimate. I'm continuing my guessing..that most of those will never have a clue..no reason to. Which means..that maybe those who remember something...are supposed to. Maybe to prod others...maybe to make further encounters less traumatic..maybe as simple as getting someone to start asking questions about EVERYTHING. I do believe that life is holding a clue...many.

All good questions. But do you know if this man is still an active investigator and also, how long ago this reported event happened?

During and after my tour in MUFON as a field investigator rapidly all the way up to a chief investigator and assistant state director, I learned it is not at all unusual for many field investigators in Mufon to claim or suspect they are abductees too.
It is one of Mufons little secrets that is not a secret really, just Mufon in their regimentation seems to miss considering such possibility's maybe wide spread in it's own organization. I did though. I learned many of MUFON's investigators on up have privately related or have suspected to have had abduction experiences. All this regardless of what Mufons 'scientific opinion' itself has on the abduction phenomenon. I think another one of Mufons faults besides a colossal lack of doing case analysis, is not exploiting this unique opportunity for more knowledge. The Mufon Journal could never publish such constructive criticism like this. Mufon seems to be missing a number of things.
Often many people volunteer to the organization to learn about the UFO phenomenon, but also quietly they are on their own personal search for facts related to their own mysterious experiences in their lives as well.
Mr. Palermo relating candidly his own experiences in public maybe unusual. I myself attended several confidential hypnotic regressions of Mufon investigators who related their experiences in private confidence. I cannot share who or relate about those cases further. But their experiences often go back to a early age.
Mr. Joe Palermo is currently Chief Investigator in Missouri, and is also a Star Team member.

Many many possibilities...by far not enough real data to support any conclusions. Naturally people hunt answers for those 'feelings' we get of something we can't explain. Missing time, odd dreams, marks on the body..lumps and bruises that can't be explained away. Encounters? Abductions? I think we can eliminate the government being able to conduct experiments world wide..levitating people...flashing green or blue beams of light (they are just NOT that creative). But in the rush to satisfy the cold terror that sometimes accompanies ..are we willing to leap to any conclusion someone may throw out there? Is that why we have reports of over 200 alien species visiting this one little planet? What..are we the only game in town? Experts spring up over night with theories..and the one thing they have in common is not a fact to be found. Figure out why that is and you might be headed in the right direction. Comparing notes from those who really have had experiences seems to be a good step but most of the time..people don't want to hear what those people are saying (what another 'probe' story?). Well when Spock gets here to explain it let me know
