Visions of Dead Loved Ones Not Yet Known to Have Died
By Tara MacIsaac, Epoch Times

The universe is full of mysteries that challenge our current knowledge. In "Beyond Science" Epoch Times collects stories about these strange phenomena to stimulate the imagination and open up previously undreamed of possibilities. Are they true? You decide.
These cases go beyond premonition or a vague intuitive feeling—the people involved reported having a clear vision of a loved one and thus learning of the loved one’s death. In these cases it seems the people could not have known of the deaths through normal means.
Here’s a selection of cases from dozens compiled by Dr. Bruce Greyson at the University of Virginia in his 2010 paper “Seeing Dead People Not Known to Have Died,” published by the American Anthropological Association.
Dr. Greyson wrote: “Cases of this kind provide some of the most persuasive evidence for the survival of consciousness after bodily death.”
Feverish Boy Sees His Sister Along With Dead Relatives
Eddie Cuomo, 9, was in a feverish state for almost two days. He awoke at 3 a.m. after his fever broke and told his parents and Dr. K. M. Dale that he had seen deceased family members, including his grandfather. The boy had also seen his 19-year-old sister, Teresa, who was away at college. Eddie’s father had talked to her a couple days before and all was well. Later that day, the family learned Teresa had died in a car accident at midnight—just a few hours before Eddie’s vision.
-This account was related by physician K.M. Dale and recorded in the 1995 book “Children of the Light: The Startling and Inspiring Truth About Children’s Near-Death Experiences and How They Illuminate the Beyond” by Brad and Sherry Hansen Steiger.
Woman in Car Accident Sees Her Father Who Died an Hour Before
A Native American woman was in a car accident and was dying. She told a stranger who’d stopped to help her: “If you ever get near the Indian reservation, please tell my mother that I was OK. Not only OK, but very happy because I am already with my dad.” The stranger found her mother and related the message. It turns out the woman’s father had unexpectedly died of a coronary an hour before the car accident.
-This account was related by psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross in her 1983 book “On Children and Death.”
