www.unexplainable.net/UFO-Alien/Man-Blames-High-Speed-Car-Chase-on-Alien-Invasion.shtml Man Blames High Speed Car Chase on "Alien Invasion"By Chris Capps 3/20/11 A North Carolina story that has been sweeping the internet since it first broke comes to us in the form of a police report filed by police after a man described by friends and family as a "good kid" led authorities on a high speed chase reaching speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour. The reason for the chase? Richard Blanscet, the man leading the chase was convinced aliens were attempting to invade Earth. The man had just recently taken a then unidentified substance that was later sampled and taken in for analysis, and then had become agitated. Afterward he reportedly told authorities that he spotted a mysterious object hovering in the sky and led them on a wild high speed chase that cut through a churchyard, a cemetery, and a collection of woods. After the incident, the man reportedly surrendered to authorities and was clearly in a temporarily very disturbed state. His version of events suggested that he was privy to information related to an alien invasion that was unfolding before his very eyes. And rather than sit down and allow the mysterious entities to overrun Earth, he had hopped in his car in an attempt to save his girlfriend. The unidentified substance was later identified as a legal alternative recreational drug, and he had taken it under the impression that there would obviously be no ill effects. And while it's unclear just how much he took, the ensuing incident was widely considered by those who knew Blanscet as "a good kid" and "an honest individual." One local later reported that though Blanscet had driven through their yard, he returned later and offered to repair any damage to the lawn he had incurred during his high speed chase. There is a 'legal' marijuana now..that is under fire because it causes hallucinations. (CBS) Across the country, demand for a synthetic form of marijuana is soaring. Unlike the real thing, this drug - called spice or K2 - is legal in most states. Now, a handful of lawmakers are taking action. This week Missouri became the sixth state to ban the use of K2. www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/07/10/eveningnews/main6666078.shtmlGreat what we need are more 'stoners' reporting invading aliens to make us look like blooming idiots

Great what we need are more 'stoners' reporting invading aliens to make us look like blooming idiots I was just thinking the same thing myself. And people wonder why UFO enthusiasts have a bad name. Why did they call this new super-drug K2? That's the nickname of the second highest mountain in the world.

I think I am going to write an article called "Stupid UFO Headlines." This one will definitely be at the top of the list.

i wonder if maybe some of these drugs might open up a doorway, which is normally closed for some people, to see another dimension.... i am basing this thought on an incident that happened to my oldest son about 10 yrs ago... my son fell and his rotator cuff ( i think thats what its called) came out of the socket....extremely painful i'm told.... his girlfriend took him to the emergency room and he was wheeled into x-ray....they gave him some drug for pain (i think) and when it was all over they wheeled him out and he asked to use the phone....the nurse handed the phone to him & he called me, he told me where he was and that he had just seen his dad, now his dad had died 3 yrs prior to that.... he said he heard his dad talking to the dr. and asked if his son would be all right.... imagine my reaction.... a friend of mine had a stroke and was rushed to the hospital, they gave her medicine and she later told me,. right after that she had seen a cluster of her friends who had already died, standing close by discussing her and asking someone if it was her time or not.... i find these stories fascinating....neither my son or my friend took drugs....

When my grandmother was dying, she saw her mother, two of her deceased sisters, her recently deceased poodle (who she said jumped up on the hospital bed with her) and her son (who had recently died four months before... she didn't know he was dead... we didn't have the heart to tell her... until she told us she saw him... she said he had paid her a visit... they hadn't spoken to each other in years because of a fight...). A couple of my friends use spice sometimes. They say it doesn't show up on a drug test and offered me some... I might try it some other time... when I don't have to go to work... ~shrug~.

meanwhile Canada is considering outlawing salvia. For those of you who don't grow your own - this is sage. As in, turkey dressing seasoning. I guess some people smoked it and thought it did something (besides burn lung tissue) and now the conservatives want to sure to outlaw this new threat to the moral integrity of youth. Sometimes I think I'm in a Zombies Ate My Neighbors' Brains movie.

Well..Auntie..along the lines of your thinking..the American Indians used Peyote and tobacco both for visions and South American Indians in Bolivia and Ecuador chew coca leaves especially in the sub-Andean regions. Infusion of maté is taken in the Paraguay area, as well as by the Jívaro and other groups of Ecuador. Hallucinogens are used mainly in the Amazon–Orinoco area; they include species of Banisteriopsis (a tropical liana), from which is made a potion that produces visions. No reason to think modern pharmaceuticals don't produce the 'visions' also..just no way to tell if the vision is pulled from the brain or the cosmic continuum. When I had the heart surgery, I was given Vicodin for a couple of days (I'm not a drug or drink type person..I do not like the feeling being out of control). I had the closest thing to a nightmare I've had since I was a child...I dreamed someone I knew shot me in the heart (go figure) I'm pretty sure that one came from my own wee brain. On the other hand..I have 'visions' without the brain benders. Maybe it opens doorways for some people or maybe it just relaxes some enough to get past their own mental roadblocks that others don't need drugs to breach.
