What's up with this world??
I hate generalizations and try very hard to not make them myself . . .
Trying to stay sensitive on this topic. There is "no new news" on this today.
the couple were married for more than 20 years. For all these quotes of a history of DV, people are tending to skim (as usual) articles. The DV and 'fighting' over money issues ONLY happened after success on the TV show - in the last 5 years.
how the daughter is involved? Extra creepy.
so very sad. For all of them.
As usual, I feel like a "cold person" curious about the following detail. Sorry. Initial shots were heard fired when the police arrived at the (daughters) apartment. Then the standoff-for hours- and shots fired again (and then apartment stormed by police).
The reason of my curiousity? The guy, said to the police (supposedly) "Give me 15 minutes to collect my thoughts or I will kill her".
Can you guys picture this guy getting out these words, in this situation? And (supposedly) what he said to HER in their last (recent) confrontation?
Not that this part matters in the long run, but I think he killed her in the first shots. For whatever reason, he then spent the time contemplating his own demise. We don't know what other calls he made; who he spoke to,; if anyone other than the police. But obviously, his initial statement about "give me 15 minutes" was convincing.
I don't think we are ever going to hear the time difference in their deaths. I'm not cop-bashing. it's just one of those decisions that we can't win. He was obviously able to convince someone that he was willing to talk, and she was alive, or they would have stormed the place sooner.
however, he did kill someone earlier in the day. Was that other person just answering the door? was he found alone in bed?
If she was sleeping on the couch, already pretty afraid, and there's a knock on the door early morning, if I was her friend, I either wouldn't answer, or be the one to go to the door. I might even want her to sleep in my bedroom with me for other reasons than her "attractiveness".
My generalization, is, do people wake up in the morning and say to themselves,
"i'm going to kill someone"? Not likely. But, (generalization again) they may stay up all night contemplating it . . they may actually harass the person all night, calling, texting, banging on windows, and then go quiet just before dawn. The person gets maybe an hour of sleep, and then there's a "regular" knock on the front door . . .
The above scenario happened to me. I didn't get kidnapped, or "hurt". (and because of the year it was, I didn't get texts).
Anyway, we don't know anything about the other murder, other than it wasn't just some random person walking down the street (which seems to also happen in "planned killings").
I'm just sick over this. They were "EVP" specialists, supposedly. The woman was seeing a therapist. Did they think it would be too weird to tell us there was a "fearful" side to all this??
One article I read said that the woman had always attracted "other" (as in paranormal).
We (here at TEOR) aren't on TV shows, and we sometimes get important "premonitions".
Again, it just makes me sick.
