Indiana's so-called "demon house" is no more. The home that sparked national attention over reports of it being infested with powerful demonic activity, leading to the purported possession of nearly an entire family, has been torn down, the Indiana Star reported. The razing of the Gary, Indiana property followed its purchase by the host and executive producer of "Ghost Adventures," Zak Bagans in early 2014. Bagans said he now plans to release a documentary on the residence's haunting later this year which will reveal the reason behind its demolition. "Something was inside that house that had the ability to do things that I have never seen before — things that others carrying the highest forms of credibility couldn't explain either," he told the IndyStar via email. "There was something there that was very dark yet highly intelligent and powerful." SEE PHOTO & CONTINUE READING: www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/demon-house-torn-down_us_56b1fcdfe4b08069c7a58370

Why would anybody tear down a haunted house?? Especially if he was a ghost hunter from a ghost show? Doesn't he have any respect for ghosts at all? Where is the ghost gonna live now? It's not like they can just move to another haunted house. Or can they? Is some other poor persons house now gonna be haunted because that fool tore this one down? Did the fool ever think about that? I doubt it.

This really makes me mad! First those fools in Louisiana bunred down that big haunted house and now this fool is tearing this one down. If this keeps up pretty soon there won't be any more haunted houses for ghosts to haunt. How are we gonna find the ghosts if all the haunted houses are torn down?

I agree it was not a very cool thing to do. And now the guy wants to make some documentary explaining why he demolished the house? I can already guess why he did it...because he's a nut! And probably thinks he can make money off of his dumb documentary about a haunted house that no longer exists. I suppose next he will go dig up all of the graveyards so ghosts can't haunt them either.

Dudes!
I actually checked this nonsense out (not from huffington post. Would you believe that I can only axcess huff from TEOR by way of AuntyM's articles, on this stupid computer?!)
Anyways,. Yes it all sounds so bogus.
But if you hurry and look around a bit, you can view some police reports. The police reports might change your mind.
Child services were called on this family.
Zak whoever decided to tear down this house, he says, while doing the documentary. Because of things that happened.
Besides, are demons "ghosts"? Or "ghost" wannabees . . .
Don't think you have to worry about places being haunted, Casper. There's a lot out there.

I hope the demons follow him home and haunt his house too! It still makes me mad to think about it. It should be against the law to tear down a haunted house.

Finally, somebody is using their brains; git rid of the *dam.ned* place. I'd burn it, maybe get lucky & burn out the evil too. Unfortunately its generally in the land, underneath.

Just because a building is "torn down" does not mean that "what" might/might have been there are gone. The location can sill have paranormal energies there and the spot simply might not be safe to build anything on or even go near it.

It just makes it harder for us ghost hunters to find the ghosts. Where are we supposed to look if all the haunted houses are gone?
