Watch: 'Ghost Bride' Filmed in Russia?
April 8, 2016
A driver in Russia may have captured footage of a 'ghost bride' said to haunt the road where she had died in a car crash on her wedding night 27 years ago.
While traveling through western Russia, Karina Dmitrieva could not believe her eyes when she noticed the eerie apparition which resembled a woman wearing a wedding gown.
A subsequent check of her dash cam confirmed that, indeed, something anomalous had appeared in the road.
Paranormal researchers in Russia believe that Dmitrieva inadvertently filmed the infamous spirit of a woman who died on that road while traveling with her wedding party in 1989.
The 'ghost bride' has been spotted by other witnesses over the last quarter century and was once even photographed, but the video footage stands out as perhaps the best evidence yet for the entity.
This particular road is no stranger to strangeness as it has been the site of numerous odd incidents in the past, including sudden fog, vehicle malfunctions, and an inordinate amount of car accidents.
Whether these strange events are due to the road itself or the 'ghost bride' said to lurk there remains, much like Dmitrieva's video footage, a matter of conjecture.

People who live in the area believe the apparition could be the victim of a road accident back in 1989
A spooked out motorist believes she's captured on video the ghost of a dead bride hovering at a crash hotspot where a newlywed died almost three decades ago.
There have been 10 accidents reported on the forest road in just one year.
But the driver who recorded the haunting footage believes that the spectre she saw could have been a victim from 27 years ago.
The clip has been called a "sensation" by paranormal investigators and is going viral online after being uploaded to video-sharing websites.
Driver Karina Dmitrieva, from Moscow, spotted the silhouette of what she thought was a young woman in a wedding gown and a veil on the road.
Ms Dmitrieva, who was travelling with another woman, checked her dashcam which appeared to confirm that she really had seen something.
