This website gives a drawing of the detail on the disk, before showing the actual disk. I enlarged the actual disk to look at the detail, before looking at the drawing. I picture the “creature” (humanoid) as facing the near-naked warrior because of the position of the feet and the shoulder muscle. The “face” that I see on the back of the helmet, looks like a metal depiction of a face, and is part of the helmet armor instead of being an actual face. The detail given to other faces on this “seal” are different. What do you see?

I see what you are talking about. Not sure if the artist intended it that way or not but it has some amazing detail for such a small piece. The guy who made it definitely had talent.
