That was a good article. Nice the way it addressed the mental part. (It’s not all just “mental”).
When I came down with the skin disease involving strep, I’ll never forget the nurse practitioner asking me if I was a “picker” (with obvious disdain). I wish that I had answered her with “ not until I got this crap”! But I didn’t answer; I was kind of shocked.
Another doctor that I talked to later, was more specific, and asked if it itched. I hadn’t considered that either.
Just observe people........ every one has an itch some time or another. Would that be just mental? Like talking about lice and your head suddenly itches? Lol.
If you haven’t combed your hair all day, and then comb it before bed, have you ever looked at your comb afterwards? When I’ve had a day like this, my comb shows a bunch of lint. Nothing creepy crawly. But it makes me wonder about the air I walk through all day long..... what my lungs breathe; etc.
Are we humans, adjusting ok to all the filth? Why is something like “morgellons” so hard to believe?
I’m so glad that they are still looking into it!
