Very interesting. I always suspected there was more water up there than was commonly believed. I bet there’s a bunch of it underground in aquifers too. I have a question though...
Why do you suppose the ice isn’t covered by a layer of red dust like all the rest of the surface of Mars is covered with?

The only theory I can come up with is that perhaps the ice melts, the dust settles to the bottom of the water, and then it refreezes again. Possible?
