www.majesticdocuments.com/documents/intro.phpTHE MAJESTIC DOCUMENTSMajestic Documents.com is a groundbreaking look at the United States UFO program called Majestic and the top secret government documents that tell the story of presidential and military action, authorization, and cover-up regarding UFOs and their alien occupants. A remarkable work of investigative journalism, this website is the first to authenticate top secret UFO documents that tell a detailed story of the crashed discs, alien bodies, presidential briefings, and superb secrecy. Special attention is paid to the forensic authentication issues of content, provenance, type, style and chronology. The story the documents tell leaves the reader with little doubt that the cover-up is real, shocking, and at times unethical. Operation Majestic-12 was established by special classified presidential order on September 24, 1947 at the recommendation of Secretary of Defense James Forrestal and Dr. Vannevar Bush, Chairman of the Joint Research and Development Board. The goal of the group was to exploit everything they could from recovered alien technology. Buried in a super-secret "MAJIC EYES ONLY" classification that was above TOP SECRET - long before the modern top secret codeword special access programs of today - Major General Leslie R. Groves (who commanded the Manhattan Project to deliver the atomic bomb) kept just one copy of the details of crashed alien technology in his safe in Washington, D.C. Ambitious, elite scientists such as Vannevar Bush, Albert Einstein, and Robert Oppenheimer, and career military people such as Hoyt Vandenberg, Roscoe Hillenkoetter, Leslie Groves, and George Marshall, along with a select cast of other experts, feverishly and secretively labored to understand the alien agenda, technology, and their implications. Einstein and Oppenheimer were called in to give their opinion, drafting a six-page paper titled -Relationships With Inhabitants Of Celestial Bodies.- They provided prophetic insight into our modern nuclear strategies and satellites, and expressed agitated urgency that an agreement be reached with the President so that scientists could proceed to study the alien technology. It states, “…For some time, the last two months in particular, I have had our intelligence liaison organization concentrating on the possible presentation on ‘Majic' for my use as well as for the other officials concerned, particularly yourself. A highly specialized organization is now engaged in the very necessary process of separating the wheat from the chaff and correlating the items with past information in order that I may be able to quickly and intelligently evaluate the importance of the product.†This memo with 092447 classified executive order (EO) stamp and other marginalia looks to be authentic, and our forensic linguistics resources hopefully will confirm Hillenkoetter authorship. 1st Annual Report Majestic Twelve Project, 1st Annual Report, Cover Page, 1948? (101k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level This cover page defines the members of panel of experts responsible for preparing the report on Majestic. They had a very impressive panel - Bush, McDonald, Vandenberg - all these people you would have expected. The odd one is Major Luther D. Miller, Chief of Chaplains. Additionally, notice the Collection Directive number A-1762.1-J1. This file number also appears on other declassified documents that are related to UFOs. The absence of a date and the reference to CIA SI 28-55 suggests the possibility of evidence of deliberate altering for some purpose, such as psychological warfare. Not that it's true but sometimes Wikipedia gets things right..now and then..on occasion.. According to this, even UFO researchers doubt the veracity of the 'Majestic documents' due to inconsistencies and errors in formatting and chronology. Is it just possible that people want something so badly to be conspiratorial that they make it up and feed the gullible? We pass it on..and on and in fact..never really know where it came from. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majestic_12The government could be just as clueless as we are while we're giving them credit for actually knowing something..If 'aliens' are so smart..they'd avoid the government like a plague anyway ;D

alien-ufo-sightings.com/2017/04/majestic-12-forbidden-story/MAJESTIC 12 : Forbidden StoryApril 30, 2017 In UFO conspiracy theories, Majestic 12 (or MJ-12) is the code name of an alleged secret committee of scientists, military leaders, and government officials, formed in 1947 by an executive order by U.S. President Harry S. Trumanto facilitate recovery and investigation of alien spacecraft. The concept originated in a series of supposedly leaked secret government documents first circulated by ufologists in 1984. Upon examination, the Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI) declared the documents to be “completely bogus”, and many ufologists consider them to be an elaborate hoax. Majestic 12 remains popular among some UFO conspiracy theorists and the concept has appeared in popular culture including television, film and literature. The story of how the original MJ-12 papers came to light is an interesting look into the mindset of some of the leading UFO researchers, and an excellent example of the quality of UFO evidence that is acceptable to some people. The concept of “Majestic Twelve” emerged during a period in the 1980s when ufologists believed there had been a cover-up of the Roswell UFO incident and speculated some secretive upper tier of the United States government was responsible. Their suppositions appeared to be confirmed in 1984 when ufologist Jaime Shandera received an envelope containing film which, when developed, showed images of eight pages of documents that appeared to be briefing papers describing “Operation Majestic Twelve”. In December, 1984, Jaime Shandera, a Hollywood movie producer and UFO researcher, received an unusual package through the post. Inside was just one roll of undeveloped 35mm black and white film. There were no accompanying letter or return address, the only clue to where the package came from was by the postmark which was Albuquerque, New Mexico. Once developed, the film contained negatives of what appeared to be an eight page briefing paper, prepared on 18th November, 1952, for president-elect Dwight D. Eisenhower. A warning on the first page read, ‘This is a TOP SECRET – EYES ONLY document containing compartmentalized information essential to the national security of the United States’. On page two was a list of 12 influential US scientists, military leaders and intelligence advisors. It was not until viewing page three that the subject of the papers became clear, ‘the recovery of a crashed flying saucer and alien bodies near Roswell, New Mexico, in July 1947’. The final page of the briefing paper was a memorandum, dated 24th September,1947, from President Harry Truman to his secretary of Defence, James Forrestal. In it, Truman instructs Forrestal to proceed with ‘Operation Majestic-12’, but gives no hint at what that might be. Alone, the Forrestal memo was meaningless. But when read next to the 1952 briefing paper, the story behind them became clear: in July 1947, a ‘flying disc-shaped aircraft’ crashed landed in Roswell, New Mexico, and ‘extra-terrestrial biological entities’ (EBEs) are recovered by the military. When President Truman is informed about the crash, he authorizes Defence Secretary Forrestal to set up a committee to investigate and deal with the situation. In 1952, when Eisenhower becomes President-elect, he is briefed on Operation Majestic-12. The briefing paper lists the 12-man committee and gives details of the saucer crash. The final paragraph stresses the need to ‘avoid public panic at all costs’, confirming that the government is covering up the truth about UFOs. The Majestic-12 documents consisted of an eight page briefing paper to President Eisenhower detailing a UFO crash at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947, another crash at El Indio, Texas in 1950, and listing the members of the government’s special Majestic-12 or “MJ-12” UFO group. It was dated “18 November, 1952”, and it named “Admiral” Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter as the briefing officer. There was also a memo from President Harry S Truman to Secretary of Defense Forrestal that authorized the creation of the MJ-12 group. However, what is often ignored, glossed over, or has just been lost to obscurity, is the fact that the first mention of MJ-12 was in a document that was alleged by Richard Doty, an ex-special agent for the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), to have been created as disinformation. He says he gave the document to UFO researchers while he worked for AFOSI, and was order to do so by his superiors. He says this was only one incident in a MAJESTIC 12 : Forbidden Storycampaign that lasted years. Hesitant to take his word for it, I requested documents related to his claims from AFOSI via the Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA). The documents I received supported some of what he said, but told a different story. They do document the interactions with AFOSI and one UFO researcher, but do not include passing him disinformation. In fact, they say two New Mexico state senators requested information about the nature of their interaction with the UFO researcher, to which AFOSI replied they received his information, but did not engage in any sort of formal investigation. The documents purported to reveal a secret committee of twelve, supposedly authorized by United States President Harry S. Truman in 1952, and explain how the crash of an alien spacecraft at Roswell in 1947 had been concealed, how the recovered alien technology could be exploited, and how the United States should engage with extraterrestrial life in the future. Shandera and his ufologist colleagues Stanton T. Friedman and Bill Moore say they later received a series of anonymous messages that led them to find what has been called the “Cutler/Twining memo” in 1985 while searching declassified files in the National Archives. Purporting to be written by General Nathan F. Twining to President Eisenhower’s assistant Robert Cutler and containing a reference to Majestic 12, the memo is widely held to be a forgery, likely planted as part of a hoax. Historian Robert Goldberg wrote that the ufologists came to believe the story despite the documents being “obviously planted to bolster the legitimacy of the briefing papers”. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/06/james-forrestal-new-files-from-the-fbi/ James Forrestal: New Files from the FBIby Nick Redfern / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/nredfern/June 8, 2019 Within the field of Ufology there are longstanding and highly controversial rumors that the May 22, 1949 death of James Forrestal – the first U.S. Secretary of Defense – was linked to the UFO phenomenon. So the story goes, while suffering from severe depression and anxiety, and ultimately spiraling into a complete nervous breakdown (as a result of his exposure to what the U.S. Government knew about UFOs), Forrestal was on the verge of revealing his knowledge of an alien presence on Earth. The theory continues that powerful figures decided such a thing simply could not be allowed to occur. The result was that Forrestal had to go. And “go,” he certainly did: out of a window. In the early hours of May 22, Forrestal plunged to his death from the 16th floor of the Bethesda Naval Hospital. The big question is: was he pushed or did he jump? Of course, there’s no hard proof in the public domain that Forrestal was briefed on the more sensational and top secret aspects of the UFO phenomenon. Although, logic dictates that he would have been briefed (at least to some degree), since he accepted the position of Secretary of Defense in 1947 – the year in which the flying saucer was “born” and when the military was indeed taking the mysterious matter very seriously. Even outside of Ufology, there are suspicions that Forrestal’s death was no suicide. The reason why I mention all of this is because in the last couple of days the FBI has declassified a file on Forrestal which runs to close to 300 pages. I should stress that for the most part the file is focused on bureaucratic issues. That’s not to say there aren’t any interesting and intriguing entries in the file. There certainly are. You can find the file at this link. If you scroll down the file to the latter part, you’ll see the more intriguing information. One section of the file concerns Forrestal’s worries that his phone was being tapped. It was an issue brought to the personal attention of the FBI’s Director, A March 28, 1949 FBI document states: “There was a party at the White House this afternoon for Mr. Forrestal and during the afternoon he remarked to [deleted] that he suspects that his phones are being tapped and asked to whom he should speak about this. [Deleted] told him Mr. Hoover was the one to talk about it and told Mr. Forrestal he would be glad to call for him. He said no, he would call Mr. Hoover himself.” Two days later, Hoover wrote to Forrestal the following: “Dear Jim, I wanted to let you know that we have completed the check of the telephone lines and instruments in your residence and that all were found to be clear. It was a pleasure to be of this assistance to you.” Of course, most of Forrestal’s concerns about phone-tapping were very likely provoked by his increasing paranoid state. I see such paranoia time and time again in Ufology. A strange noise on the phone indicates that “they” are listening. A text that fails to arrive on time is a sign that the Men in Black are playing sinister games. And so on. James V. Forrestal Certainly, the most bizarre – but also intriguing – entry in the file is a letter sent to the FBI on March 9, 1952. The name of the letter-writer is deleted. The letter reads as follows: “On the Brundidge Ryan Crime Report (which is at elevision show out New York) a [deleted] said he thought and would be able to prove in the near future that James V. Forrestal was driven to insanity by placing two grams of opium and two grams of some other narcotic in his coffee each day for two weeks. He said this would drive any man into wanting suicide. I wrote [deleted] but have as yet received no answer. Would you please tell me if there is any doubt that Forrestal committed suicide naturally? I would also like to know if taking those narcotics for the prescribed length of time would cause said reaction? Pleas send the reply to the above address.” On March 18, the FBI replied to the letter-writer, informing him or her that the letter to the FBI had been forwarded on to the Bureau of Narcotics. Those with a particular interest in all of this might wish to file a FOIA request to try and determine what the Bureau of Narcotics had to say about all of this. The file also contains a number of notable documents, including (A) J. Edgar Hoover’s congratulatory letter to Forrestal when, in 1949, he – Forrestal – took on the position of Secretary of Defense; and (B) the official notification to the FBI of Forrestal’s death. And, for those who follow the Forrestal controversy, there are enough leads and threads to keep you going for a while. mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/06/james-forrestal-new-files-from-the-fbi/

majesticdocuments.com/documents/majestic-documents/documents-dated-prior-to-1948/Majestic Documents Dated Prior to 1948Memo to George Marshall Memo to George Marshall from FDR, 27 February 1942 (49k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level This is the memo that links the UFO crashes with the Los Angeles Air Raid of 1942, since it occurred only three days earlier. It alludes to “atomic secrets learned from study of celestial devices” and authorizes “Dr. Bush to proceed with the project without further delay.” The reference to “this new wonder” is, to our knowledge, a unique phrase for the time. The writing of Source S-2 shows at the bottom of the page. Authenticity, for a retyped memo like this, is nearly hopeless to prove in court. Format details might be of some help if they are consistent with the style of the time. Marshall to FDR George C. Marshall to Franklin D. Roosevelt, 5 March 1942 (89k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level On March 5, 1942, George C. Marshall writes a top-secret memo to the President, which states: “regarding the air raid over Los Angeles it was learned by Army G2 that Rear Admiral Anderson recovered an unidentified airplane off the coast of California with no bearing on conventional explanation… This Headquarters has come to the determination that the mystery airplanes are in fact not earthly and according to secret intelligence sources they are in all probability of interplanetary origin.” Marshall goes on to state: “As a consequence I have issued orders to Army G2 that a special intelligence unit be created to further investigate the phenomenon and report any significant connection between recent incidents and those collected by the director the office of Coordinator of Information.” The memo bears correct Office of Chief of Staff (OCS) file numbers and has “Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit” (IPU) typed on it at a later time by a different typewriter. It is logical to believe that this is the order that sets up the IPU. FDR memo Franklin D. Roosevelt Memo on Non-Terrestrial Science and Technology, 22 February 1944 (117k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level On February 22, 1944 Franklin D. Roosevelt writes a DOUBLE TOP SECRET memo on White House stationary for “The special committee on non-terrestrial science and technology.” Both the title and the content clearly allude to extraterrestrial life, the former using the word “non-terrestrial” and the latter talks about “coming to grips with the reality that our planet is not the only one harboring intelligent life the universe.” Remarkably, the last four words are exactly the title of Sagan’s book co-authored with the Soviet scientist Shklovsky. Clearly the situation was that we had recovered at least one craft by then, probably the Cape Girardeau crash of 1941, and came to realize the wealth of technology that lay there for the pickings. Apparently the “Special Committee on Non-terrestrial Science and Technology” had been working some time in order to define a clear action. Dr. Bush had presumably presented a proposal from the Committee for an aggressive separate program to apply “non-terrestrial know how” to the war effort, but FDR thought that it would threaten the atomic bomb program. Thus, he carefully avoids saying “no,” but says that we will “take every advantage of such wonders that have come to us” after we have won the war. Very gracious letter. The classification “double top secret” was a legitimate one. We are currently (May 2000) requesting copies of similar correspondence from the Roosevelt Library for format and typography comparison. The signature, although not a strong discriminant, is consistent with other authentic signatures. Oppenheimer Einstein Draft Oppenheimer-Einstein Draft, June 1947 (494k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level This six-page document titled, “Relationships with Inhabitants of Celestial Bodies”, is the first document to use the phrase Extraterrestrial Biological Entities, or EBEs. It says the presence of unidentified spacecraft is accepted as de facto by the military – and this is dated June 1947. It deals with the subjects that you would expect competent scientists to deal with – i.e., where do they come from, what does the law say about it, what should we do in the event of colonization and/or integration of peoples, and why are they here? The document suggests that in the event that EBE’s desire to settle here on earth there will be “profound change in traditional concepts” of law and the possible need for a new “Law Among Planetary Peoples.” There is also propositions concerning the necessary creation of a “Cosmic International law” that would protect the rights of all celestial states to lay claim on otherwise unclaimed solar territories. Finally, the document addresses the presence of celestial astroplanes in our atmosphere as a result of actions of military experiments with fission and fusion devices of warfare. The authors of this document encourage consideration of our potential future situation and safety due to our present and past actions in space. How can we avoid a perilous fate? Eisenhower to Ireland Memo General Eisenhower Memo to Col. K. W. Ireland, 30 June 1947 (34k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level In this one-page unclassified memo dated 30 June 1947, Eisenhower orders Col. K. W. Ireland to take good care of Archbishop Francis J. Spellman on his tour through New Mexico. What seems unusual is President Truman’s personal involvement in this matter. The memo states: “By personal direction of the President of the United States, Archbishop Francis J. Spellman in his capacity as Military Vicar of the Armed Forces of the Army, Army Air Forces and the Navy, is making a tour of military bases in New Mexico, afterwards is making a trip over the routes of the Air Transport Command.” It is strange that this is a classified trip, as evidenced by the following statement: “General Webster has assured me that the Archbishop will have complete security at all times and that his presence at any air field will not be disclosed as his flight schedule is considered classified by order of AC/AS General Vandenberg.” IPU Field Order Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit Field Order, 4 July 1947 (43k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level This one page order directs the officer in charge (OIC) to take a counter intelligence team to the UFO crash site and report to the G2 (intelligence) at Condron Field, New Mexico, which, of course, is Roswell. OIC is to take along a non-commissioned OIC, an aeronautical engineer, a scientist, a security officer and a medical doctor, and to provide a report by the 28th of July. Vannevar Bush Letter to President Truman, 5 July 1947 (206k) Authenticity Meter: Medium-High Level On July 5, 1947, possibly as a result of the New Mexico events, Vannevar Bush writes a memo to Truman recapping the status of the earlier investigations. As an apparent follow up by FDR to Bush, FDR wrote another letter (which we don’t have) in April 1944 requesting recommendations on four specific points. This letter is Bush’s answer. It is presumed that the Top Secret/Eyes Only Operation Majestic-12 classification was added at a later date. The letter also shows an “OK” and a Harry Truman signature. This letter is stamped with the known authentic “original” stamp, and was probably produced by a typewriter because of the uniformity of letter spacing. We expect to show, of course, that this format was commonly used by OSRD typewriters of the era. Bush restates the FDR questions for Truman’s benefit, mentions the assistance of distinguished committees, alludes to the “many meetings since the events of this summer,” transmits the full reports as appendices, and proposes a “single mechanism for implementing the recommendations of the several committees.” Could this be one hugely classified program called “Majestic Twelve” at the end of the summer? The date of the letter, 5 July, was, of course, coincident with the recoveries going on in New Mexico at that very time. Harry Truman’s “OK” may have been prophetic. Directive to Twining by Eisenhower Directive to General Twining by Eisenhower, 8 July 1947 (86k) Authenticity Meter: Medium Level On the 8th of July, Eisenhower got around to signing the authorization for General Nathan Twining, the head of the Air Materiel Command, to go to White Sands to “…make an appraisal of the reported unidentified objects being kept there.” With a team of experts, technicians, scientists and assistants, Twining was directed to not only appraise the unidentified object, but also to deal with the military, political, and psychological situation surrounding its existence in New Mexico. Directive to Twining by President Truman Directive to General Twining by President Truman, 9 July 1947 (324k) Authenticity Meter: Medium Level On the 9th of July, Harry Truman signed a virtually identical letter authorizing Twining to re-visit White Sands to make another appraisal of the object being kept. It was desired that he “proceed with detachment from any opinions or feelings expressed by personnel involved which do not conform to sound reasoning with regard to possible outcome”. Someone apparently thought it was so important that the Commander-in-Chief put his name on the spot without “passing the buck.” Alternatively, Ike himself may have requested a “back-up” memo.
