www.ufodigest.com/article/scientist-claims-mars-moon-phobos-hollowScientist Claims Mars Moon Phobos Is Hollow!Submitted by Dirk Vander Ploeg on Thu, 04/07/2011 Astrophysicist: Giant Spaceships are Orbiting MarsAstrophysicist Dr. Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky calculated the orbital motion of Martian satellite Phobos and came to the jaw-dropping conclusion that the moon is artificial, hollow, and basically a titanic spaceship. Phobos is spaceship says famous scientist Dr. Iosif Samuilovich Shklovsky The scientist is world-renown for penning the classic science book, “Intelligent Life in the Universe” with famous Cornell University professor, the late Carl Sagan of PBS and Voyager space probe fame. Fear and Horror Mars’ two moons, Phobos and Deimos, translate into “fear” and “horror.” As Mars is named after the god of war, the names seem appropriate. Both satellites were discovered in 1877 by U.S. astronomer Asaph Hall who never guessed they were artificial. Both moons are extremely odd, especially the tumbling moon of fear: Phobos. Shklovsky puzzled over them. Deeply troubling facts Two facts deeply troubled Shklovsky. First, both moons are too small. No other planet in the solar system has moons as tiny as the Martian moons. They’re unique. Second, their origin bothered him. Were they captured asteroids as others assumed? No, they could not be! Their orbital plane was all wrong. And they’re too close to Mars. Much too close. Even more amazing–Phobos changes its speed from time to time. Impossible, yet true! TO CONTINUE READING CLICK ON ABOVE LINK

I think we had a similar thread about Phobos and the Phobos 2 mission that um disappeared..but maybe that was on Ufomania? It's one of the more interesting mysteries I think. PHOBOS: MALFUNCTION OR EARLY "STAR WARS" INCIDENT? Phobos, one of the two moons of Mars, has itself always been considered a rather mysterious object, as has its smaller twin, Deimos. Joseph Shklovskii noted member of the Soviet Academy of science and co-writer with Dr Carl Sagan of 'Intelligent life in the unverse', once calculated from the estimated density of the Martian atmosphere and the peculiar "acceleration" of Phobos, that the satellite must be hollow. Could Phobos be a hollowed-out space station of huge proportions? www.informantnews.com/phobos/index.htmlThere's a lot more on it if you google Phobos 2.

Posted by ScottCWaring at Tuesday, February 08, 2011 All The Below Photos are from the Same NASA Spirit Rover Photo, PIA10216.
FEEL FREE TO REPOST THESE PHOTOS, PERMISSION GRANTED.NASA posted a photograph (PIA10216, Google it-same photo as the woman figure was found!) taken by the Mars Spirit Rover on their web site that bloggers around the world began scanning over carefully in order to catch anything that NASA may have accidentally let slip through. To everyones amazement some anonymous person in Asia did and posted it on the Internet causing widespread excitement over the possibilities of life existing on Mars. This led me to new discoveries of a male and a possible child figure near the female figure. I also found a statue like face (head only), in high detail of a reptilian looking skyward and wearing a crown with a jewel in it. I found a three carved faces in the side of the mountain of three unknown species, which can only be compared to Mt. Rushmore. 1.bp.blogspot.com/_yX_P4HAuZKk/TVDdxzKtRJI/AAAAAAAAAoM/mgl4lnZaJN4/s400/UFO%252C+Sighting%252C+News%252C+Figure%252C+Mars%252C+Spirit%252C+Rover%252C+Surface%252C+PIA10214%252C+Face%252C+Faces%252C+buildings%252C+structures%252C+odd%252C+strange%252C+proof%252C+evidence%252C+NASA%252C+ET%252C+2012.pngThis photo below is small size of full paannamic, for full large size, download at link below. This structure is 700' x 150', and is colored white with blue and red stripes against the red Martian soil. This is not a rock or mountain. It is a manufactured structure. This is not something that I created, this is something that is currently on Google Mars. NASA wont talk to me about it. I've sent them a few emails, and no reply. Go see for yourself. The coordinates are: 71 49'19.73"N 29 33'06.53"W Discovered by David Martines 2011.

USA's New Space Strategy Points to "Yes""I don't think the human race will survive the next 1,000 years unless we spread into space." Stephen Hawking July 26, 2011 Casey Kazan Image credit: Our friends at gizmodo.com The Obama Administration new mission for NASA puts the focus on developing new space technologies, exploring the solar system with robots, and pushing humans closer to living offworld. All of which will be funded a budget increase to NASA of $6 billion over five years. Under the new strategy, we'd see a revamped NASA program focused on scientific innovation, rather than recreating old experiments. Specifically, as NASA Administrator Charlie Bolden said: "We will invent and demonstrate large-scale, new and novel approaches to spaceflight such as in-orbit fuel depots and rendezvous and docking technologies, and closed-loop life support systems so that our future robotic and human exploration missions are both highly capable and more affordable . . . as well as providing $3 billion over five years for robotic exploration precursor missions that will pave the way for later human exploration of the moon, Mars and nearby asteroids." The strategy also contains earmarks for "new engines, propellants, materials and combustion processes, ultimately leading to innovative ways of accessing space to go beyond low Earth orbit." Obama has sensibly ceding space flight development to the private sector, with new ventures such as SpaceX who will be will be ferrying astronauts to the ISS, and other aerospace companies who are very close to launching humans into orbit. So the government would be partnering with private industry to send astronauts to space. Apollo-moon-mission astronaut Buzz Aldrin, often an outspoken critic of the space program, said: "I also believe the steps we will be taking following the President's direction will best position NASA and other space agencies to send humans to Mars and other exciting destinations as quickly as possible. To do that, we will need to support many types of game-changing technologies NASA and its partners will be developing." Hawking said that any long-term site for a human base should have a significant gravity field, because long missions in microgravity lead to health issues such as bone loss. I hate to keep saying this but I really think that Stephen Hawking has gone off the deep end. When he makes statements like the one that was just quoted, about people not surviving another 1000 years unless we start colonizing space, he is stating the absurd. If people can't survive here on this planet which has everything we need to survive the how the heck are they going to survive on some godforsaken rock like Mars or the Moon? Are people who go to Mars all of a sudden going to stop polluting, stop fighting and stop screwing things up just because they are living on Mars? I seriously doubt it.

Hi Jo . The best way I can tell you without punishing the people that told me. this is this way Mars was hit by a asteroid and it was knocked out of its orbit . Many were killed . It also took all the water and air away from the surface . Those that survived were protected from the disaster and went under ground . They have machines that can convert water to oxygen so they can breath . But to get back to the moving of the planet . They will have to make a propulsion system to move the planet . ( which is in the making ). Right now they are taking trees from Earth and planting them on Mars to replenish the air . The water will be taken from space and put where the oceans were . ( This I was told long time ago ) As for the people that were killed . Their souls were taken and put on earth thousands of years ( before the pyramids) into Humans . As time went they were put into other bodies and up to now ( This is called a step in ) ( as they were dieing the soul leaves the body and you will step in the body . ) Many miracles have thought to happen because of this . Now for me and the others . One was a prince that was killed Me and another were traders buying and selling goods . Yes we were killed also and many people that we know were killed that came from another planets Any Questions ? Ron

No..you did a good job of explaining the fundamentals I've heard other stories about 'step-ins' or 'walk-ins' as some call them, each a bit different a theory. The one thing I'm reasonably sure of is that anything is possible. I'm not sure what it would take to move 707,518,514,916,818,944,000 short tons (or 6.4185 × 10 23 kg. weight of mars) but I suspect there is a shortcut to the manipulation of mass. The man who created the coral castle said it was simple to move tonnage if you knew the secret. Under those circumstances maybe it doesn't matter if it's 3 tons or the weight of mars. I do know they can tell that phobos is mostly hollow and that Mars isn't..which is why I thought perhaps it was a space ship. At any rate..no one is going to be around in a thousand years to see

Ron, that's very interesting. I was told by my former spiritual adviser that my soul did not originate on Earth, but that it originated from another human race "a long time ago in a galaxy far far away". My soul is 80,000 years old according to her. I am older than most other humans on this planet. The reason why they keep bringing me back (whoever "they" are... gods... fates... whatever...) is because I am a "bringer of change". I am needed to do things whenever I come back... even if they are small things.
This life I am supposed to raise a child who will change things rather than doing it directly myself. ~shrug~

I believe that who or what or from where our souls spring..won't be important until it's time for it to be so. I think we are all here to experience and learn and hopefully to mature and grow from those experiences. To learn compassion, to shed ego, to value others above ourselves and to live in worthwhile fashion each and every day. I think no one is more important than another but what we have done with our time here is and it will determine when we leave here and to where. I think hundreds of realities exist in time..not just two named heaven and hell.

I think all of the "faces" are just weird rock formations. I do believe there is life on Mars I just don't know what kind or to what extent. It might just be simple little bacterias and single celled organisms or it could actually be plants and small animals like we have here on Earth, just not as plentiful. We won't know for sure until we go up there and look.

NASA to Announce 'Significant' Mars Finding ThursdayPublished August 04, 2011 | FoxNews.comNASA/JPL The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has made a significant discovery, according to NASA.Little green men? space base? Red rain on the Red Planet? NASA is set to announced a a significant new Mars science finding on Thursday, although the space agency gave few details on the nature of the finding and refused requests from FoxNews.com for further information. The agency noted only that the news was based on observations from NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO), which has been orbiting the Red Planet since 2006. A briefing is planned for Thursday afternoon, with panelists including geophysicists, geologists, and scientists, suggesting the news will relate to topographical findings on the Red Planet -- and not the discovery of life on Mars. The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter is managed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, a division of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif., for NASA's Science Mission Directorate in Washington. The $720 million spacecraft is designed to conduct reconnaissance and exploration of Mars from orbit and was launched August 12, 2005. MRO contains a host of scientific instruments such as cameras, spectrometers, and radar, which are used to analyzes the landforms stratigraphy, minerals, and ice of Mars. Video started on NASA TV at 2:00pm Eastern.
This could be big, folks. They have confirmed evidence of "seasonal flows" on Mars and they aired the videos that show it. They "suspect" it is briny water but have NOT confirmed that. It could be some other volatile material. Temps in the areas where they see this range from -10F to +80F in summer times.

Did NASA Find Liquid Water on Surface of Mars?Published August 04, 2011 | FoxNews.comNASA/JPL/University of Arizona Researchers studying images from a NASA satellite have detected dark patterns (circled) that ebb and flow on Mars -- evidence, perhaps, of a salty brine water.
Images snapped by a NASA satellite point to the possibility of seasonal liquid water on the Red Planet’s surface -- water on Mars, the space agency announced Thursday. Observations by the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera aboard the orbiting Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) have captured recurring features on several steep slopes in Mars’ southern hemisphere, which researchers believe could be evidence of water. "This is water today, not in the past," study co-author Alfred McEwen, a planetary scientist at the University of Arizona, told SPACE.com. “The best explanation we have for these observations so far is flow of briny water,” said McEwen, who was quick to clarify that "this study does not prove that." The scientist is the principal investigator for the orbiter's HiRISE camera and the lead author of a report about the recurring flows published on August 5 by the journal Science. The evidence so far is by no means definitive proof but scientists are hard-pressed to find meaningful alternative theories. “By comparison with Earth, it's hard to imagine they are formed by anything other than fluid seeping down slopes,” said MRO project scientist Richard Zurek of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, in Pasadena, Calif. “The question is whether this is happening on Mars and, if so, why just in these particular places.” While frozen water has been detected underground, these recurring dark flows could be the first known Martian ground with liquid water, according to researchers. The potentially groundbreaking study was first discovered by University of Arizona student Lujendra Ojha, then a junior majoring in geophysics. Ojha was studying subtle changes on the planet’s surface as an independent study project when he noticed the strange seasonal features. “I was baffled when I first saw those features in the images after I had run them through my algorithm,” said Ojha, who is a co-author on the Science publication. “We soon realized they were different from slope streaks that had been observed before. These are highly seasonal, and we observed some of them had grown by more than 200 meters in a matter of just two Earth months.” For the team, this is just the beginning. When the researchers checked the flow-marked slopes with the orbiter’s Compact Reconnaissance Imaging Spectrometer for Mars (CRISM), it detected no signs of water. But that doesn’t rule out the possibility that any liquid may quickly dry on the surface, or that these are actually shallow subsurface flows. “The flows are not dark because of being wet,” McEwen said. “A flow initiated by briny water could rearrange grains or change surface roughness in a way that darkens the appearance. How the features brighten again when temperatures drop is harder to explain.” “It's a mystery now, but I think it's a solvable mystery with further observations and experiments,” he said. It makes sense that there would be water there. Mars has an atmosphere and some of the photos taken by the Mars Rovers have shown clouds in the sky which means they have moisture. Moisture means there is water somewhere...and water means LIFE!!! I have been telling people for years there is life up there. If NASA would get up off of their butts and send some people up there they would find out for sure. I volunteer to be the first to go! When I land I will say, "That was one small step for man and one giant leap for...AAAAhhhhh!! Run! RUN!!" ;D ;D ;D

Opportunity Rover Enters New Chapter in Mars ExplorationPublished August 11, 2011 Space.comNASA's Mars rover Opportunity has finally arrived at the giant crater Endeavour, after nearly three years of intrepid driving across the surface of the Red Planet. The golf cart-sized rover made landfall at its destination yesterday (Aug. 9) when it pulled up to a vista called Spirit Point on the rim of Endeavour crater, NASA officials announced today. Endeavour is a vast scar in Martian surface that is about 14 miles (22 kilometers) across. "It's a blast," the rover's deputy principal investigator, Ray Arvidson, told SPACE.com. "It's a brand-new mission." The 7-year-old Opportunity has been aiming for Endeavour crater since mid-2008, when it left a smaller crater (called Victoria) after a two-year pit stop. The aging rover is expected to spend years at Endeavour, if it lasts that long, in order to study rocks at the site that have never been seen before. At Endeavour crater, scientists are hoping to find much older rocks than those examined by Opportunity during its first seven years on the Red Planet. Endeavour became a tantalizing destination after NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter detected clay minerals that may have formed in an early warmer and wetter period on the planet. New research based on observations by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter observed dark lines and seasonal changes in slopes carved into the Martian surface that appear most likely to have been formed by flowing salty, briny water. The new findings, which present the strongest evidence yet for liquid water on the surface of Mars, are bolstering the search for extraterrestrial life. The agency is also launching a new car-sized rover to Mars in late November. The Mars Science Laboratory, and its centerpiece Curiosity rover, will land at the massive Gale crater to assess whether the crater is, or ever was, capable of supporting microbial life. Russia Spacecraft Fails in Mission to Mars' MoonPublished November 08, 2011 Moscow, we have a problem -- again. The Russian space program, already embarrassed by failed rocket tests that have delayed trips to the International Space Station, was dealt another blow Wednesday when its much heralded mission to Mars was revealed to be a dud. The launch went off as planned, but the unmanned probe failed to follow the intended course, Interfax reported, citing the head of Russia's space agency. An engine failure reportedly was to blame. The probe had been sent on a daring mission to reach Phobos, a moon of Mars, and to fly samples of its soil back to Earth. The Phobos-Grunt (Phobos-Soil) craft was successfully launched by a Zenit-2 booster rocket at 12:16 a.m. Moscow time Wednesday from the Russian-leased Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. The $170 million endeavor was to be Russia's first interplanetary mission since Soviet times. A previous 1996 robotic mission to Mars ended in failure when the probe crashed in the Pacific following an engine failure. Russia has faced a string of spectacular failures in the past year. In December, a rocket and its payload of three communications satellites fell into the Pacific Ocean after failing to reach orbit. A military satellite was lost in February, and in mid-August the Express-AM4, described by officials as Russia's most powerful telecommunications satellite, was lost. The Phobos-Grunt originally was set to blast off in October 2009, but its launch was postponed because the craft wasn't ready. The 29,040-pound craft was the heaviest interplanetary probe ever, with fuel accounting for most of its weight. It was manufactured by the Moscow-based NPO Lavochkin that has specialized in interplanetary vehicles since the dawn of the space era. The company designed the craft for the failed 1996 launch, and two of its probes sent to Phobos in 1988 also failed. One was lost a few months after the launch due to an operator's mistake, and contact was lost with its twin when it was orbiting Mars. Scientists had hope that studies of the Phobos soil would help solve the mystery of its origin and shed more light on the genesis of the solar system. Some believe that the crater-dented moon is an asteroid captured by Mars' gravity, while others think it's a piece of debris resulting from Mars' collision with another celestial object. It sounds typical of their space program back in the 1960s too. They should have beat us to the Moon but their rockets kept blowing up on the launchpad. On the other hand, on our side the Saturn V rockets that carried all of the Apollo missions to the Moon managed to have a 100% success rate. It's a good thing we cancelled our shuttle program so we could rely on the experience of the Russians...

Moscow, we have a problem : It could be a serious one if they dont fix it very soon. This interplanetary probe consists of about 7 tons of highly toxic fuel (nitrogen tetroxide and hydrazine) which could turn out to be the most dangerous manmade object to fall from orbit. Back in feb. of 2008, the U.S. Government destroyed the spy satellite USA 193 with a sea launched missile due to the danger of hydrazine release if it would've entered the earth's atmosphere . When mixing nitrogen tetroxide with hydrazine(which is normally done with most rockets) it becomes dinitrogen tetroxide-highly toxic and corrosive, about 14,000 pounds worth.

Is it in orbit? Surely that thing must be heading out into space by now shouldn't it? It sounded like it blasted off ok but got sent on the wrong course because the engine didn't fire when it was supposed to. I doubt that it would fall back down here...or would it? Should I go get my catcher's mit?

Should I go get my catcher's mit? --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Yes, it is still circling around the earth. Ordinarily on interplanetary missions , like apollo to the moon, voyager, etc., they'll use whats called a gravitational slingshot method which propels the spacecraft at roughly twice the planets velocity towards its destination as well as using thrusters at times (helps save on fuel and adds velocity). they'll orbit the earth at least once or more to cause the effect . In this situation the thrusters have failed for some reason and its still stuck in earths orbit. Time is ticking. With all the toxins in the fuel skywalker, I wouldn't try to catch this one. If anything, grab a bat and send it back into orbit towards phobos.

-----------to add: If the problem with the craft is in the software ground controllers may be able to reboot and fix it,but if its somewhere in the hardware than they have a big probe-lem , sorry, I had to write that . ;D

If it fell back to Earth would,'t the toxic chemicals burn up during reentry? If this stuff is used to make rocket fuel than it should make a pretty big bang once it starts heating up.
