I'm ok, y'all. Just a few bumps and bruises...and cuts and lacerations...but nothing permanent. My ankle is already feeling better. I actually started running again right after I finished talking to the long-haired hippy dude in the pickup who was trying hard not to laugh even though he did seem genuinely concerned. He saw how hard I hit the ground, that's why he came back. I just thanked him for stopping and continued on my way. It would take a lot more than that to get me anywhere near a hospital. I think I was more surprised than anything. I'm not used to having the world disappear from underneath my feet when I'm running. I've only fallen like that while running about three times in the past five years. It's not fun. I went back and looked at the road the next day and noticed that the only hole on that entire road was right where I fell. I ran down that road for seven miles and that was the only hole. If that truck had passed me any other spot on that road it would not have been any problem. It had to be that one exact spot where it happened. What are the odds of that? I'm sure the fates are rolling around on the floor laughing themselves silly at the little practical joke they pulled on me. Stupid fates.

Wonder where they got that idea from? I noticed the TEOR name has been popping up all over the place since we made it famous. We're still the best though!

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Ya know I'm always looking for these impossible connections . . I just reread Chase' event in the cornfield (a couple of different places). Then I just happened to read your opening comments on this thread, Sky. Mufon forum went down july 2010 out of nowhere . . . cornfield event was just before that . . . Chase jumped ship soon after that . . . just something to think twice about

So what are you saying? You think she's an MiB or something? Actually, I think she sounds like "one of the good guys". (just a guess).

I'm glad you're doing Ok - that you didn't get damaged severely in your fall! One time, I was walking with a friend, and almost my whole foot and leg suddenly went into about a 12 inch diameter hole. Of course I bit it; had no time to react. We were in front of a gas station and I was embarrassed more than anything! How did I NOT see that hole?! With that quick thrust of both legs, at such an angle, I could have broke my pelvis, a hip . . . without even thinking I pulled my leg out and stood up, and continued walking (my friend was freaking out). I believe in Miracles!

Well...it looks like another computer has bit the dust. I have no idea what number that is but it's got to be up there pretty high. It's a good thing I found that new one in my closet a few days ago.

My backup computer just died. The screen just faded out to black. Now it won't even turn on. That means I just killed two computers in one day. That's got to be a new record, even for me. The only one I have left is the one I just recently found in the closet. What's the chance I can destroy three puters in one day?

Now the closet computer won't turn on. How is this possible?

Since some mysterious twist of fate has caused my previous computers to wind up in the garbage can I finally bit the bullet and bought yet another brand new computer. I have no idea what number this one will be because I lost count a long time ago but it has to be at least a 10 or 12 that I have destroyed in the past 6 years.
I'm getting ready to turn it on for the first time right now. Does anybody want to take bets on how long this one's going to last?

So far so good. I turned it on and it hasn't exploded yet. Now I have to set it all up.

If auntym was here I would ask her for some of her dancing bananas because it's not very often that a historical occasion like this occurs. Now I'm going to turn it off and go to bed before it breaks.

Man, this is freaky having a new computer that actually works. I'm almost afraid to touch it because I'm worried it's going to break. Maybe I should just put it in a glass display case and preserve it for posterity. Each morning when I wake up I can look at it and go ooooooooooooooooooooooohhhh! And at night when I'm ready for bed I'll look at it again and say aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I like this new Windows 10 BTW. They took the best things from Windows 7 (which I liked) and the good things from Windows 8 (which nobody liked but I was getting used to) and combined them together. It's going to take a while to figure it all out but it looks interesting.

Ok. I turned it off and rebooted it and it started working again. Don't have any idea why it froze up. Must be a harbinger of things to come.

Dude why do you keep torturing computers like that? Have you no mercy? Now you have a new victim to kill. I bet it doesn't last a week before you break it.

In case anybody is wondering where I've been I'm busy delivering relief supplies down here in Louisiana. The entire state is flooded and water is everywhere. Its even still falling down from the sky! The place looks like a giant swamp. Oh, wait...Louisiana is a swamp. Well it looks more swampy than usual. Stupid rain. I'm supposed to deliver a load in the New Orleans area tomorrow if the roads are open. I think after that they are gonna have me start gathering up the animals two by two...

My son lives in Gonzales. Their house did not flood, but their street did.

I think the whole state is flooded. There's water everywhere. People are driving boats down the streets instead of cars.
