The Tom Reed site may have been 'back up" for awhile. I remember being concerned that it "just disappeared" for a period of time, directly after he told his story on TEOR. After he told his story on TEOR to some extent, I believe he deleted it himself. I'm not going to speculate (here ) why Mr. Reed was so open here, and then appears to "shut down" for awhile. He did say that he hoped to become more public about his case, and seemed to promise that more interviews were coming (other than Mufin). I'm pretty sure the reason he deleted most of his posts here is because the people at MUFON influenced him to do so. Shortly after he left here it was announced that he would be a speaker at the MUFON symposium and we all know how they like to have total control over anything associated with them. They probably think they own him now. Poor guy. Hopefully they won't lock him away in their broom closet with all of the other inaccessible info that they claim they have but never allow anybody to see.

www.openminds.tv/ufo-alien-encounter-declared-true-historical-society/32374 UFO and alien encounter declared true by historical societyPosted by: Alejandro Rojas March 2, 2015 The Great Barrington Historical Society and Museum has inducted an alleged UFO sighting and alien abduction because they believe the case to be “historically significant and true.” The announcement was made early last month. In it, they refer to the incident as an “off-world/UFO case” that involves Great Barrington residents Thomas Reed and his family. The incident took place on September 1, 1969, and began with UFO sightings that were reported by multiple witnesses in the area. Many of the witnesses had contacted Great Barrington’s WSBS radio, who reported on the incident at the time. Thomas Reed speaking about his family’s experiences at the 2015 International UFO Congress. (Credit: Carlo Petrick) As The Boston Globe reports, Reed claims that this UFO sighting was part of a string of strange encounters he and his family experienced beginning back in 1966. The first encounter took place on their horse farm when Reed was 6 years old. He and his younger brother saw strange lights coming from the forest and strange figures in their hallway. They remember seeing a large disc-shaped craft in a clearing in the forest, and being taken aboard. They experienced similar incidents over the next few years. In one instance, while driving with his mother, younger brother, and grandmother, Reed remembers strange lights in the sky. Soon after, they found themselves in a giant room where they met with two large ant-like creatures. Moments later, they were back in their car. Reed went into more detail on the encounters and shared the Great Barrington Historical Society’s press release with the audience at the International UFO Congress in Arizona. In the press release, the Great Barrington Historical Society lists some reasons why they decided to induct the case. They note that the case was examined by U.S. Air Force’s official UFO investigation, Project Blue Book, and that the case was mentioned at the United Nations in 1992. They also state that, “this renowned case has received international recognition due to factual and corroborated evidence as well as first hand testimony, including recent polygraph test, the Great Barrington Historical Society confirms that the Reed off-world incident is historically significant and true and warrants induction in the GBHS collection.” CONTINUE READING: www.openminds.tv/ufo-alien-encounter-declared-true-historical-society/32374

mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/06/massachusetts-town-removes-monument-to-historically-documented-ufo-sighting/ Massachusetts Town Removes Monument to Historically Documented UFO Sightingby Paul Seaburn / mysteriousuniverse.org/author/paulseaburn/June 9, 2019 In this age of government UFO revelations and presidential candidates promising disclosure of secret UFO files, you would think that the town which claims to be the home of the “only historically documented UFO sighting in the United States” would be proud of a monument touting the event. In this case, you would be wrong. “The monument was removed at considerable expense to the town. Unfortunately, the party responsible was not responsive.” The Berkshire Edge interviewed Selectman (a New England term for a member of the local government board) Martin Mitsoff about the removal this week of the Sheffield UFO monument located near the Sheffield, Massachusetts, covered bridge where in 1969 Thomas Reed, then age 9, and his family found themselves “being taken aboard a tarnished circular looking vessel where an image of a willow tree was displayed.” The next thing he says he remembers is being back in the car and a couple of hours had passed. Sheffield? Looks like a good place to land. His grandmother reported the incident to the police and found that at least 20 others had also reported seeing a UFO and a local radio station said they received 40 calls from witnesses. Reed claims he took a lie detector test and got a 99.1 truth rating. Based on that, the Great Barrington Historical Society declared the UFO sighting “historically significant and true” and money was raised to create a 6-foot tall, 5,000-pound concrete memorial (you can see photos of the monument and the park here) with an inscription that reads in part: “This Governor’s Citation [is] in recognition of the off-world incident on Sept. 1st, 1969, which engaged the Reed Family, which has been established.” Cool! What’s Selectman Mistoff’s problem? Well, the monument attracted graffiti and was discovered to be on government property, so it was moved 50 feet and updated with lights and a bench. Then it was discovered to be on a town right-of-way easement. That prompted a year of meetings and email exchanges which resolved nothing. On June 4, this happened: “A crew from the town highway department arrived at around 8:30 a.m. with a front-end loader/backhoe combination and hauled away the monument, a bench and a row of crushed stone.” The story doesn’t reveal where the monument was hauled away to, but Reed considers this to be an act of theft and plans to file charges. Wait a minute! Why doesn’t the governor’s office get involved, since the plaque on the statue is from current Governor Charlie Baker? Doesn’t that make this an official state monument? An earlier story by The Berkshire Edge has a possible answer: “Tim Buckley, then Baker’s communications director, said in 2016 the citation was issued in error after a persistent Reed repeatedly asked the governor’s staff to put his signature on it. The text of the citation is all in capitals and is poorly written. It appears to have been notarized by a justice of the peace in Connecticut.” Remember … you promised a monument. Uh-oh. It looks like the local officials agree with the governor’s former communications director and not with Reed nor the producers of the TV show “Unsolved Mysteries,” which had just been in town to do a segment on Reed and his UFO story. Should Reed try to enlist some UFO disclosure proponents like former US Senator Harry Reid or Tom DeLonge? That might help, but for now it appears the parties have their lawyers aimed at each other and will shoot it out in court. Has anyone considered asking for help from the crew of the UFO? mysteriousuniverse.org/2019/06/massachusetts-town-removes-monument-to-historically-documented-ufo-sighting/

‘Tis sad.
I believe the Reed family story. His brother also had a phenomenal event happen later in life.
I’m thinking that they also had a step-father that shared some experiences after he joined the family..... but I’m not sure - because Thom Reed removed all his notes and our conversations from TEOR.
I have to look back to see if any old photos of the “aliens” that Thom saw (as a child in his home) survived the deletion.

It's just (Tom & Matt) Nancy my Mother As far as what left the Rad & Mag Fields. it looked like an orange ball that many had seen that night. My brother just kept driving with it in sight and after 20 min or so he found himself in a field and lost time. Blood on his shirt, feeling odd, Mag & Rad. all over his SUV. Matt has never been 100% since. Our accounts in the 1960's were very diff. In 1992 our accounts were talked about at the United Nations by Robert Bletchman, as they had gained much intrest as well. Several questions Tom. Since the 1960s, have you noticed any changes over the decades from dealing directly with the phenomenon? Was the same compass used around Matt's vehicle indicating the unusual magnetic field ever tested on an identical model vehicle as a control test sample for comparison? All vehicles produce magnetic fields from the ample ferrous materials, engines, and its many electrical systems. The radiation levels associated with the SUV are perplexing. Metal objects (such as automobiles) are usually very insensitive to radiation exposure. Were radiation levels higher around any plastics in the vehicle? Has Matt shown since the experience any signs of radiation exposure. Thyroid tests, nausea, hair loss beyond normal? Much would depend perhaps on the kind of radiation Matt and his vehicle were exposed to perhaps. Which may tell a lot in itself. Were there any samples collected and were they tested and findings shared with you or your family? Respectfully, Steve

"Thomas agrees and per MUFON's request, undergoes regression hypnosis. " Hi Tom Just letting you know I copied and pasted the above words from "ufocasebook". It also says about the same thing at "ufodigest" . Frustrating. Today, in your story on the internet, I found a detail (besides the willow tree) that I have been keeping to myself, and no one has thought to ask me. I have mentioned more than once, that I don't "know" what these beings look like. Even as a child, I knew they were there, at my side, but they always stayed out of my vision. It was just one being, and if I turned towards them, "they" turned with me. At the same distance, again out of my sight. Now that I'm an adult, my left shoulder and arm bother me quite a bit, and last summer I had a vivid dream about a "being" near my left shoulder. You mentioned that a "being" was always on your left side, and turned with you? I don't want to be "hypnotized" either. Unfortunately, my recollections are often "dreams" and feelings of "deja vu". For whatever reason, right now I feel a bit stressed, and need to go. Thanks

Since I posted this, again, my left side is increasingly feeling better!
I am so amazed and grateful!❣️
Is it a mistake from my past finally being “corrected”? Is it that simple?
Despite all the chaos going on right now in the world, look for “comforts”. I can’t tell anyone enough that “Jesus is a personal God and friend”.
I’m still going through a lot of “distortion” ( for lack of better word to describe it), like 3 of my family members being in the hospital in serious condition at the same time, but yet there ARE BLESSINGS ♥️.
(and I’m not afraid to say: “it could be worse”)
😉
