Is that close to where you live Paulette? Maybe you can find a piece of it. I hear some meteors are worth lots of money.

Two provinces away. I'm on the coast Sask. is midwest. I watch the Meteorite Hunters on TV - hokey but they are keeners and find some every show.

I didn't know there was a show about meteorite hunters. I don't think I could imagine myself sitting there watching it. I would much rather be out looking for them myself.

They have cool equipment and also meet very strange fellow meteorite hunters around the world. They did a lot of holes (after the machine beeps) while the Russians or Swedes stand around and drink vodka. After the meteorite is retreived (or the old bedspring) they drink more vodka. I quite like it - its a welcome relief from CSI dead bodies...
