I do not think the photos accurately depicts whatever this light source is. Important to note is the 1/2 second exposure setting. There were similar photos taken at Stephenville, in which erroneously Linda Moulton Howe's silly interpretation these were signals(like much of LMH usually is) . It appears the light sources are in reality more pinpoint, and the photographer/s camera was not stationary. In some ways, digital cameras have been a step backward.

I can never keep my arms still when taking a photo. My daughter gave me a very nice digital camera for Christmas. No more.. blurs..... So many settings it has taken me awhile to understand it..
You mention signals.... I have often wonder if these aliens do send signals from ship to ship.. Oh heck!! they probably read each others minds.

Steve How did the witnesses describe the lights? It looks like the ones in the photo are moving (or the camera is) so it might have originally looked like an orb or some such thing. Blue-colored orbs are actually pretty common in certain areas, so it is possible the lights may have had nothing to do with the experiences the people are having there. When you are doing your historical research you might check to see if those types of lights have been reported before. Also the geological/seismological conditions in the area might have something to do with it.

Hi,
The lights described by the camera seem different than what the witnesses saw. This is a question most investigators fail to ask in this digital age..."does the camera image depict accurately to what you saw?" Most investigators are so pleased to get any photo image, they erroneously assume perhaps the camera does not lie...(very analog thinking). The witness that took the photo, along with the other witnesses at various times describe a single or tight group of single pinpoint lights, very bright and piercing in intensity, like a very white halogen light.
I had to work long over the phone to get the witness to draw the entity by the fence. The thought of it made it very difficult for her to put down on paper. She said I have this gift for helping her realize in her own mind details about the entity. Whatever I did she says...it worked, and the drawings are now supposed to be in the mail to me.
Careful not to lead, being an artist to some extent myself, and imagined being there with her and like a forensic police artist, have her focus on a blank wall, and return in her mind to the incident clearing her thoughts and focus her memories. Then I ask questions to her like any artist would in constructing an image, first the shape of the head....then the facial proportions in relation to the head outline.....
Without leading.... she began to see in her mind details she was afraid to see before....things she said she could not recall before...a nose....a mouth, ridges of possible bone like structural features, the eyes.
The nose she described sounds weird. Almost a flat dark translucent area between and below the eyes, as if a nylon stocking was over this area. This while the rest of the facial features was stark and all too clear.
She described the movements as mechanical almost, stiff and non graceful, natural. (natural to whom?) Interesting.
Yesterday, the witnesses found strange animal tracks (bipedal with some noticeable gait) on the horse path walking away from the home toward the meadow mentioned a number of times earlier. They are going to take photos and measurements. I suggested if possible, get some plaster casts. The witness is very experienced and familiar with exotic animals, both locally and in general. Is an experienced animal tracker. She says these tracks, with three pads are different. The three pads point forward and to either side 90 degrees or so they appear. Are you reading this thinking what I am thinking?
While all this is happening...leaving this afternoon to our meeting today with George Lobuono. Will fill you in.

Ahh OK. I thought you were thinking something more hypothetical and philosophical. I need some more coffee before I head in to work. Ninety degree angles huh? So the bipedal creature was walking "duck-footed" or "bow-legged"? Interesting...

Steve.. I can relate to one part of your post. When she said they walk mechanical like.. Have you ever watched an insect move it's legs and feeler? Catching bugs was one thing as a child, but watching them up close always freaked me out.. from early childhood.. One reason to believe the insect aliens I may of witnessed. I never knew why until I was an adult.. I believe this is what she did witness. Yes she may have alien's near her, was my first thought when you mention tracks. How creepy and nerve racking this would be for her.. I would not be able to sleep.
I would like to see the photo's also.. I'm waiting on any clue which would shake my memory..even if it is only one piece of the puzzle.. These aliens seem to get more daring with every case.

Steve - and other persons intentionally putting themselves out for UFO "bait". I suggest something that you may already have thought of. There are timers (and people running boats at night use them) that go off every 15 or 30 minutes(I think you choose the setting). You have to hit a button or press bar to turn it off and it stops but goes off again in the next time segment.
I'm not sure but maybe if one didn't turn it off it would show the last time it wasn't de-activated (and keep ringing). This would allow a watcher to 1. not fall asleep and miss the show. 2. Not be put in an unconscious state and miss the show (at least you'd know something unusual happened and you couldn't wake up). 3. Its possible that it could be disarmed given what the phones did - but it should then come on-line when THEY leave and you could note a time discrepancy between your last check in.
I'm lining you up to not sleep for a night. But observers don't sleep.
Do field investigators have plaster of Paris or whatever the modern equivalent is for casting marks and possible footprints? This is far more effective than just a photo.
If I was going to do a stake out - I would take another person. Not a distracting person (having the ship land while one was distracted by another person would be an additional complication - then again, you might be better bait that way.)
I just talked by email with a person I camped with in my youth. He didn't remember the incident at Dinosaur Tracks in Texas. Then again, he told me about 15 years ago that he didn't remember much of anything about his college years (and living with me for awhile). He is now care-taking a remote bird sanctuary in Oregon. I suggested he kept a camera handy...He is out there alone except when his wife visits in the late spring so he probably wouldn't remember anything that happened to him anyway...

Hi Paulette, I hope you are doing fine. Actually yes, this Investigator/researcher (me) does keep plaster and the equipment on hand to pour a cast in the field. If practiced, have not poured up one 'for real' yet. The idea of the alarm to keep one both awake and to perhaps indicate a possible missing time experience while out there waiting to see something is a good idea. I value it all the more knowing your earlier experience while on horseback. So I know it comes from experience, having not experienced (best I can tell) such myself. As a former field Investigator and chief Investigator, I usually encouraged, or sometimes made it required the assigned investigator not visit on scene alone. Primarily for safety, but also a second set of eyes to record their own impressions for a more comprehensive report. I have gone on cases both alone, and with others. So it is mindful of this, when I read of some being critical of Chase & Allyson's so called encounter briefly with an entity last year in a corn field a dozen or so feet away - I feel such criticism by others is a bit of Monday morning quarterbacking. I have expressed my view and questions on that elsewhere here. I work in this research with two others, who have taken long ago professional oaths 'do no harm'. I follow this policy too in my life too should I ever encounter such a being. Approach as you would any stranger - with caution. I suspect based on what others have related if their stories are true....much of whatever is encountered will likely be a situation not controlled by me, but by 'them'. Those who have reported encountering such beings (both witnesses in my cases and others) such encounters are life changing. I had a hard time getting my witness to draw their entity. You ask them to focus on a blank wall and recall deeply what they saw. With recall comes more vivid detail. And again perhaps revisiting their fear. You guide the witness through this by helping them shift their mental perspective. You help them retain their vivid visuals, while guiding past their fear.... I tell them to imagine being in a movie describing the scene with them in it, and the mental images of the being like placing a scary bug in a glass jar, and closing the lid. They feel safer now with that emotional jar lid now closed and screwed on tight. They then even can describe even further details they dared not revisit. Like an earlier post, it isn't now the absence of fear, but actively choosing on their own now not to be afraid. Looking at it. Naively, maybe I even envy them. Whatever they relate, their fear is real and evident whatever they might have seen or thought they saw. Well...this works forensically after the fact at least. I have this empathy for witnesses like this. I do not know where it comes from within me. I have explored this myself with my hypnotheripist colleague. Perhaps I will share more about this in future posts. On another note: One interesting fact has come to my attention. "Hey, Steve.
Something weird is going on. MUFON seems to be purging every State Investigator they have.
What's even more weird is that some strange things are starting to happen here too. I have been monitoring the IP addresses from time to time since I started the forum and every now and then I will see a lot of different people from the same place checking us out. I wrote about this before in my Postcards from the Edge thread. There were about a half-dozen people from Ashburn Virgina watching us. I did a little research and found that Ashburn is the home to a FBI training academy so I assumed that the Feds were monitoring us.
After I posted that the Ashburn IP addresses disappeared for a while then came back but they had changed. They were totally different numbers but still from Ashburn. It was like they were trying to disguise themselves. I also later on noticed about a dozen other IPs all coming from Mountain View, California, and all signing on in the same day.
Today I logged on and I noticed there were 6 guests signed on at the same time...every single one of them was checking out your investigations thread, and they were all either from Ashburn, Virginia, Washington, DC, or Las Angeles, California. It would appear that we are attracting a lot of official attention for some reason." Weird! But thanks for this. Should I extend Welcome? And for the record....all cases described here are entirely my own. If I did complete 362 cases in Mufon's CMS in my years with Mufon, though I know them intimately having conducted these investigations myself, no Mufon cases and their details will be presented publicly here. Mufon's weird new callous, command-and-control attitude certainly needs reforming. Field investigations, UFO cases, is really where it's at. Steve

I'm trying to keep an open and non-conspiracy mind about this, but dang that is just creepy! I don't know, 6 people looking at the forum at the same time is nothing to really note, but 6 looking at the same thread at the same time is not so coincidental.

I agree, Sanseed. It does seem to be more than a coincidence, especially since they were from three different locations. Another coincidence is that as soon as I signed on they all signed off. I didn't just fall of the turnip truck yesterday. I know when something fishy is going on.

Steve - I never had an encounter on horseback but someone here did - it was on both the Mufon and other site. In that incident (as I recall) there was quite a bit of missing time and the women where not on the horses that they started out on. Also one horse was quite skiddish and she wondered how they managed it.
Me - I was in a rundown farm house in Texas up to "no good" and having more of an experience than I had planned for.

Maybe the 6 people were friends on twitter who all lived in the same town and one sent a text message to the others saying, "Dude! Check out this thread!" ~shrug~ I dunno though Sky. You're right. It does seem fishy... Steve, thanks for sharing that picture. It's very pretty. I wish I could draw like that...

I apologize for the error, I now acknowledge 'Jo' had the encounter while horseback. Either way, I appreciate all of you and your experiences shared.
Thinking this morning the people from Sunnyvale might just be the proboards people. I'm not worried about anything, just always curious who could be curious about us.
There is a huge storm brewing going on the last few days about Mufon. Check out the Jerry Pippin show tonight...it is going to get real nasty I am afraid.

I just got a frighten phone call a about a half hour ago.
Been sitting back, collecting my thoughts and calmly reflecting since. I thought my Friday evening was going to be relaxing, now I am excited and very concerned.
Since my last post, a number of things have been happening.
First, the woman who claimed to be a half sister with the other half sister is now being evicted by the other one (non half sister). The renter non half sister apparently has been creating in the mind of the primary witness they really are half sisters.
It maybe a survival trait, of a person who has had a hard life and emotionally has a number of issues that I best not explain in detail.
The other woman's lies have been too much, and the prime witness has now evicted them. So they are still present, but looking for a new address hopefully. So the story that these two women being half sisters is now considered by me untrue.
However, they both did confirm that both their mothers were friends and lived nearby when each were children. That much we do believe.
The one who claimed being a half sister was trying to create more than it was, implying their supposed father had a relationship with both mothers at some time. This woman maybe sociopath and uses other peoples good conscious as a survival ploy.
The first question our team then asked ourselves .....did this woman's (along with her husband) earlier abduction then occur?
After long discussion with the other team members, we decided - Yes - perhaps it still did occur (the case in the summer of 2009 on the camping trip). Why?
Both witnesses were unaware of their abduction experiences before hand, that we all are certain of too. I immediately consulted our teams hypnotherapist / psychologist too - she confirms they were unawares of their abduction experiences, just both seeing the hovering saucer shape overhead. She definitely confirmed while regressing them, whatever may have happened, they definitely believed, whether eventually one of them might turn out to be sociopath or not....it seemed to have happened.
Stepping back objectively...... both were regressed separately, and each independently related identical experiences later except when they were each examined in separate areas where ever they were. (we assume the craft, but in the regressions they do not state this, just being in some other strange place). They do remember being taken and returned together. Each were given hypnotic suggestions not to remember what they uncovered during their regressions so they could not contaminate or confabulate till after the sessions were concluded.
During their regressions, each displayed clearly how frightened and uncomfortable they each were. According to the therapist (and me and the physician present) was was quite real. So if the one woman years later seems to be a bit perhaps sociopath in getting people to help her, objectively as much as this might sound reviewing the facts of this on going case, you might controversially say they might also abduct sociopaths too! Why not!
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Remember how I have been relating about the drawing of the entity in the window? How I have been working with the experiencer getting them to relax and focus in rendering it? I requested the witness create two drawings - one of the entity seen close ten feet away in the window, and another of a human face, any face.... to gage the witnesses drawing skills rendering the entity.
Well, it maybe this drawing which originally was to be mailed to me has disappeared. Intercepted perhaps?
I was feeling pretty down about this case for about a week. I thought now that the other woman is actually not a half sister, and worse, not having received in the mail any drawing, I was thinking the case was all a hoax on the witnesses part. I called twice and left messages. To no avail.
Seems the night after our last phone call over a week ago....this family's home was 'visited' again. The witness had just completed her drawing I requested and had it in a place ready to be mailed to me. The drawing was of the entity in some detail seen weeks earlier in the window some ten feet away.
The following night three things occurred.
The next night the witnesses home had visitors. The witness wide awake....standing a number of feet from her bedroom door, half open, had a very clear but partial view of two tall entities standing in the hallway toward the living room. She was terrified.
The witness remarked they were taller than she imagined. About six feet tall. They were peering in at her, and very frightening images were now beginning to flood into her mind she said. Rebuking her not to make drawings of themselves for me, and she began to feel like she was going down this dark tunnel, and she was feeling as if she was somehow dying. All this she related as if in a dream, yet while fully conscious. She also mentioned in my questioning, it turns out one of the two entities was the same one seen earlier in the window, the subject of her drawing.
Also notably, these entities mentioned in her mind she stated over the phone ....they had even in previous visits 'taken' her! She had suspected. (so did I, but was careful not to earlier tell her that).
The second thing is, that morning, the drawings she was to mail to me had disappeared! She looked everywhere. Gone.
There is a third new fact. The homeless man who has been living about a hundred yards or so from their home has now disappeared!
Both her and the new homeless man employee were both planning the next morning to go down to the path I earlier mentioned to make measurements and photos of the strange foot prints located near the meadow where it's strange lights have appeared.
This homeless man just disappeared. His tent, his belongings, his clothes, his borrowed sleeping bag, his personal artifacts like his photos of his children & private papers are still in the tent.
Nothing surrounding the tent has been disturbed at my request. He has been gone for six days now. This man had told the witness on previous nights seeing very strange lights around his tent at night. Also having weird dreams of lights and weird images in his mind.
I told the witness, during our conversation, I have this weird feeling he will reappear very soon. Maybe tonight? Just a feeling. I am beginning to get the feeling the witness phone calls are all somehow part of this whole process. The calls when apparrently allowed to be made...seem to abbreviate & begin some yet undetermined new cycle of events.
The witness was actually told in her mind not to contact me she said! Not to make any more drawings or she would be punished.
I asked how was she feeling now phoning me. She said the compulsion not to call had diminished, and she felt she needed to.
I have suggested a new strategy to get new drawings to me. Perhaps when the post office is open on Monday. If all this craziness is to be taken at face value (which I am at the moment), then likely 'they' know this too.
I also am sending her an email of the text of the Ann Druffel post I made here yesterday in the dreams thread. Reflecting...maybe it was all posted last night now for some reason?
The other couple are moving, which I will remain in contact with. But the investigation has now shifted primarily to the landlord prime witness.
She related never being so terrified seeing these entities in her life. Her husband seems to sleep through all of this. I was beginning to think all of this was a farce being played on me. Now I am beginning to wonder if that notion was put in my mind many hundreds of miles away too?
Hopefully, drawings will eventually be posted here. If they do, no telling at what expense.
I told the witness to stand against them.. she has the will and the strength. Along with prayers, I assured her they are as mortal as we are, and we will get through this. Kick *bleep*. (easy for me to say - )
When the other couple moves, will the events befallen upon this other couple move along too? Is it some kind of bad energy surrounding the other couple, or the area? Has something been disturbed? Are the entities, what ever they are, and they look like your classic ET's....why that location? Why Now? There are details of the location I cannot divulge, or it would spill exactly where they are and who they are.
Elements of this on going case had in the past had some ...paranormal or supernatural elements. But lately, predominately, it has been all extraterrestrial perhaps, of the covert and not so nice kind. These whatever they are little bastards!
Confused by all this yet? Maybe my thought to give up on this case last night was all arranged too? Can't blame you if you felt that way.
Gosh, she actually saw 'them' now in her home this time......
I could not blame you for thinking how crazy this all sounds.
Importantly, I urged the witness call the police regarding the now missing homeless man.

This seems to get more crazy as you tell it Steve, but craziness I feel I was born into. None of it surprises me. Except the part about the one sister not being her sister. What explanation did she give for telling the other girl she was..??
Hope the missing man can be found.. He may travel around a lot and not stay in one place. Aliens would be a good enough reason for me to leave..
I say stay with it, till the end. The answers may come yet.
will be watching this thread.. Thanks for posting thus far.

Steve...
Earlier in this thread you posted photographs taken by the witness's daughter. Perhaps you can have the witness draw the entity, and then have the daughter take a photograph of the drawing and e-mail it to you.
Just a thought...

This is a crazy case in some ways for sure. I am relating it the way the witness has to me.
I wish I lived closer to the scene of these events. I think there is some odd energy in the area were this is happening. Nothing to go on scientifically, but I wish I could be on scene with a EMF (electro magnetic field) meter. I have instructed the witness to borrow a compass to see if it displays any odd behavior. I have asked the witness to photograph and email the drawings too, but she for some reason is not doing so or seems unable.
And imagine what we might uncover if we regressed this witness?
The missing homeless man has me worried. I emailed the witness to contact and report to authorities about it. A number of concerns, foul play? An alcoholic wandered off and died from exposure? Imagine trying to explain to authority's a possible 'missing time' or alien abduction scenario? You don't. Bizarre we know, but in light of all else that has supposedly occurred? Concerned for a human life.
The most unusual is the message from these supposed aliens or spirits, whatever they are, not to mail the drawing and not to contact me by phone! Me? Keeping my feet on the ground on this.
In light of all the discussion about Stivers drawings, and my rendition as Jeremy Brett (Sherlock Holmes), this case has some weird supernatural elements unlike 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' - if you are familiar with the story. But as Holmes and Watson's began to delve into the case, the elements of that story became more and more less supernatural, and took on as facts became clearer a distinct materiality. Holmes is a fictional character. But I wonder what Holmes would have thought of Occam's razor? That usually the simplist explanation is usually the correct one - to over simplifiy it's meaning.
The witness does not drink, smoke, or take prescription medications. The witnesses's work shall we say requires skill and alertness, the potential to be injured severely, or worse is great. Can only state the witnesses's work is unique.
We will have to be patient, and see what happens. Planning on talking with the daughter next, to get a different angle on all this.

Okay, so let me get this straight here.
We have two people who claim to have been abducted.
One of them claims to have been the other woman's half-sister but has now been shown to be a liar.
Some homeless dude who was supposed to be helping to gather evidence disappears.
The drawings that the one woman supposedly made disappears.
The aliens disappeared but then reappeared...
This sounds like either a very good soap opera or a bad episode of the X-files. Since both of those are fictional is it possible that this whole abduction case is also fiction? I would be tempted to suspect a hoax since the evidence has a mysterious way of not turning up when it is supposed to, but then again I may be a little bit jaded since I recently spent two months investigating an "alien abduction" that turned out to be nothing but the hallucinations of a drug addict.
A few questions:
How do they know that the other woman was lying and what other lies did she tell? (maybe she really believes they are half-sisters. Maybe her mother told her once that she had an affair...)
How long have they known this homeless dude? (homeless dudes do disappear every now and then...they get drunk, get arrested, or just decide to go someplace else. They do that because they have no home or responsibilities so they can go wherever they want)
Whatever happened to the so-called footprints? Were photos ever made? If not, why?

The foot prints have been destroyed by rains. It does look like a soap opera. I hesitated mentioning that in my previous post. I am jaded too, rest assured. With over 350 cases, you are not often exposed to a lot of UFO's as people might think. But to a lot of 'being human' fortunately or unfortunately. I think that is why Jacques Vallee after doing so many UFO investigations on his own over time shifted in a number of his later books more on the sociology of UFO's when 'nuts & bolts' - approaching as an engineering question was not going to offer much answers. More Dr. Carl Jung like. Look up Jung and UFO's. www.ufoevidence.org/researchers/detail64.htmThrough Jung, you will read an eye full about our fascination with the subject. Astutely postulated by Jung over a half century ago too! Mufon still looks at UFO's as an engineering question, that is why they shy away from abduction cases. In a way as a result, they perpetuate that 'no solution' focus. Mufon in many of their abductions cases using perhaps the wrong tools, as they sometimes do - bringing a knife to a gunfight. If there is technology involved in all of this, it is of such an advanced nature - it does not even appear to us as technology - to such an extent to even distorting our perception of reality. This dirty underwear is not what is usually discussed in UFO web sites, but is an essential critical factor in most UFO cases always ignored in a 'Filers files' or a 'UFO casebook' site. The pink elephant in the room really. That is one of the things I hope will come out through between the lines clearer. The frustrating enormous subjectivity of it all. I have had a few cases were the supposed abductee was a drug addict. Warning in reports even to the extent any future investigators dare not ever visit the witness alone! Lets hope for the sake of Mufon's FI's their institutional memory has not fallen off the map. Another admitted seeing UFO's while smoking peyote - end of case right there! Smoking that junk, you see everything and nothing at the same time. These were easy to spot even over the phone miles away. The impression of the team members is the witness seems well grounded as we can best see at present. A new set of drawings is in the works I hope. I told the witness I was about to drop the case from lack of cooperation. The story from the now prime witness does not waver, but I feel from experience lying must always be considered. The witnesses husband seems all too calm about all this. He almost casually remarks "your aliens are back". You would think at least he would consider the thought of prowlers in his home. I wonder sometimes if I am an unknowing participant in a developing screen play. As much of an exercise this maybe, I am more looking into not missing the obvious. Steve

I appreciate you keeping us updated on this, dude. Even if it turns out to be bogus it is still fascinating watching an investigation unfold like this. that is something most people never get to see. I'm about to go chase after the Stephenville lights. I'll let you know if I catch one. (I'll keep my eyes open for your missing homeless dude too.) ;D

If you catch such a light, put it in your pocket and show us here. Steve
