Not really, Cliff. Mufon has stated they are hiring a crew to go through them and digitize them. What may be available in the meantime and who it will be available to remains to be seen.

This is MUFON that we are talking about and their black hole of a broom closet where they hide all of their other info is always nearby. Stringfeld's research may never see the light of day again.

Ok. I recall hearing that a completely different ufo crashed elsewhere, around the same time. Maybe even farther South? And that the second ufo had more "bodies". Where did I hear this, and when?? There have been many different claims of UFOs supposedly crashing in the Southwest, especially in New Mexico. I don't know how much credence I would give them though. I think Stanton Friedman wrote a book about a crash that supposedly took place near Corona, New Mexico at about the same time that Roswell occurred. There was also some guy who shortly after claimed that there were three UFO crashes with three dead alien bodies at each of them scattered around New Mexico. The FBI investigated the last claim and came to the conclusion that it was a hoax perpetrated by a con man who was trying to cash in on the Roswell story. There are probably other crash stories out there besides those. The Southwest United States seems to be a magnet for defective UFOs with lousy pilots.

I'm still curious about Guy Hottels report about 3 bodies recovered in New Mexico from a crashed craft 50'ft in diameter mentioned in the FBI's Vault Archives which dated back in the 1950's. The description seemed to be that of the grey type e.t.'s. Does anyone know what ever became of that claim which just resurfaced again a couple years ago ? It was originally released to the public in the 1970's .

Thanks auntym but that appears to be a different case because the dates do not coincide. vault.fbi.gov/hottel_guyWhen the pages of this link display,,, scroll down to the 2nd page and review this. I have been very interested since they released this again not too long ago.

Notice the date of the Memorandum - March 22, 1952. I believe I was the 1st to make a connection between this date being coincidentally close to the Farmington ufo mass sighting in Farmington , New Mexico although the crash didn't take place at that time it is believed. I 1st read about this on Open Minds Forum and brought it to Brens attention about the dates coinciding. I believe our President was wanting answers and that's why he sent his trusted people to get those answers and have it delivered on his desk. J Edgar Hoover was a man who seemed to know how to get the answers he wanted no matter what it took and with all the sightings happening and rumors of crashed saucers I believe it was a priority on his agenda to find out.
If I'm not mistaken, there is a disclaimer on the website however.

If you continue to research through the archives, you will see that there are many reports throughout the vault which has been released through the Freedom of Information Act concerning I think another possible crash and many ufo related reports. It's been awhile since I reviewed these however.

Dave MacDonald talks about the future of MUFON at the group’s recent Symposiumby Michael Cline 20 Aug, 2012 Some major changes have been happening with MUFON lately. In February of 2012, Dave MacDonald took over as Executive Director, replacing Clifford Clift, who stepped down due to a family emergency. At the recent 2012 MUFON Symposium held at the Kentucky Conference center in Covington, Kentucky, MacDonald spoke to Open Minds and expressed his excitement for the new vision, management, and the positive outlook for MUFON. He stressed the importance of the younger generation stepping in and becoming more active with the organization. Also announced was MUFON’s acquisition of Leonard Stringfield’s research. His work encompasses sixty volumes of reports presented in a journal form, kept on a day-to-day basis. Several prominent men are mentioned in the work too, including Donald Rumsfeld and J. Allen Hynek, who was known to brief the documents often. The symposium also included a trip to the Wright Patterson Air Force Base, where the MUFON board toured the Air Force Museum, which includes thousands of artifacts from our nation’s aeronautical history. As Dave MacDonald begins his new position with MUFON, he hopes to produce a growth not only in membership, but also in respect and professionalism, as well as MUFON being the leader in investigations of the UFO phenomenon.
