Here is an exclusive interview with Mark Phillips creator of A&E's "My Ghost Story: Caught On Camera". If you've caught the show and enjoyed it then here is an opportunity to get a behind the scenes glimpse of the show and some information on upcoming DVD season releases. Always great to have a haunt of a time as we approach Halloween.
1. What lead and inspired the creation of your television show on A&E My Ghost Story:Caught On Camera?

MP: A&E approached me (Mark Phillips) about doing a law enforcement style reality show, and I pitched them a project called Hauntings Revealed. They liked it and eventually picked it up as an "air/pilot special" for Halloween of 08… but they wanted to call it MY GHOST STORY. They were right, great branding.
2. What is different and stands out more so than other shows of this nature when it comes to your show? What makes it different than other shows in this genre?
MP: Ours is the only paranormal show with actual evidence, and that's what makes it different, and also very compelling. MY GHOST STORY features highly personal stories told by the actual persons who lived through the experience. No ghost hunters sticking various instruments into the dark corners of a house, just good plain folk telling us their experiences, then showing us the evidence.
3. Could you tell us about a few of the eye witness accounts that were in the episodes to let our readers in on some of the ghost cases?
MP: Our upcoming season, has all kinds of great stuff. Moving baby carriages, demonic scratchings, a haunted cup cake store in Australia, various evil mists, a young couple whose bedroom is haunted, creepy graveyards, bars and factories. We are also now doing stories internationally as well, England, Ireland, Scotland, Australia and Canada
4. How many seasons has your show gone on for and is it available on DVD yet back seasons wise?
MP: We are not entering our 3rd season and the DVD's will be available soon. Full episodes can be seen at the BIO website and full episodes can be bought through iTunes.
5. When you were filming these at locations did anything ever seem eerie to the staff or actors or actresses? Were alot of the places filmed on location?
MP: Yes. Many of our field producers have had experiences while shooting on the locations. If you visit the BIO website we have produced "staff testimonials" about these incidents.
