This was in my response to Scott's question wondering if our work and book has been received well by former Mufon colleagues. The few mufon members who have read the book are enthusiastic to enthusiastic but quiet and guarded depending where they are in the hierarchy. Mufon definitely has its dogmas too. Local talks by me and Mary at Mufon meetings have thrilled and packed audiances (many experiencers) some 70-80 often attending. But most simply do not know about the book.

In the radio program I responded nicely Mufon is doing good work, they needed to continue for continuity BUT greatly expand their range of directions or possibilities where to be searching too. Scott and I both sited examples how painfully slow Mufon has responded to alleged abduction cases. Many higher ups refused to consider such cases, and considered some members of Mufon be relieved of their status regarding such cases. Alien abduction cases, for what ever their worth...very much exposed how ill equipped Mufon was investigating such cases. The great Budd Hopkins was a frequent speaker at Mufon symposiums, but he was more to Mufon leadership a 'big name' to draw a paying audience. Only later was his work more seriously considered and workshops were taught by Budd. Mufon members wanted these workshops. Mufon only lately has begun any serious protocol finally how to investigate abduction cases, but it is little and late.

Nick Pope said last year abduction cases are down. I respectfully disagree, he maybe basing his information on Mufon statistics. Experiencers have simply learned by internet networking to go elsewhere for help.

It was one example why Mufon doesn't adapt because they simply are collecting data without any case analysis. That the phenomenon has changed greatly since 1969. A common phrase in Mufon to those few then that could see a change in the phenomenon would refer to Mufon being still 'Nuts and bolts'. MUFON seems to think only THEY know how alien contact is supposed to occur. CE2 cases (real physical evidence) are rare. Scott was State Mufon Director in Nebraska before resigning from Mufon, so he understood completely. We both had resigned for family concerns.

Mary & I were also in a I.O.N.S. (Institute for Noetic Sciences) meeting on August 21, 2014. A group founded by astronaut Edgar Mitchell meeting in Marin Co, California last year. Some members read the book and urged excitedly we be guest speakers. It was a relaxed laid back group meeting in a lecture room after a nice pot luck, but the laid back feeling could be very deceiving, there were some impressive minds I was told attended to hear me and Mary explain our experiment.

Also, before that, that same summer we were filmed in a new documentary by film maker Ruben Langdon. (Ruben Langdon is a film maker and works as a stunt double in the Film industry. He was the primary stunt double for lead actor Sam Worthington in the major film 'Avatar'.) His documentary is about 'inter-dimensional beings'. Our segment was filmed in the beautiful Napa Wine Valley, part filmed among the beautiful sunny wine orchards.

This is book II of an ongoing series of interviews held with beings from Zeta Reticuli. Hypnotherapist Mary Barr was asked by one of her clients if he could talk to aliens while under hypnosis.
