endlessjrny.blogspot.com/6-8-13 My experience with the paranormal started when I was a small child. I have partial memories of strange events happening going back to age three or four. I have clear recall of odd encounters from about the age of seven on. I also recall something else that I never connected with my experiences with the unknown until I read about it on the internet by others who shared the same experience. Of course this can be attributed to the fact that I was raised and by choice also as an adult always lived in a country or suburban area that included lots of trees and open land. That is why I never thought it was odd, in fact I thought everyone saw them all the time as I did, until I started to ask around that is. Owls, I always saw and heard owls, mainly white owls, wherever I lived. As a child I had a beautiful white owl that would visit me outside my bedroom window at night. From 1958 until I was a teen I lived in Great River, New York. We lived a in a large two story home with my bedroom on the second floor facing a wooded area in the back of the house. At night while waiting to fall asleep in my bed I would hear an owl hoot away. Often being a kid I would crawl to my window that was next to my bed and try to make a hooting sound back. I would look out my window where I would see a beautiful white owl perched on a big old oak tree that stood outside my bedroom window. As a country kid at the time I did not think anything about this. I told my parents who said: “That’s nice” and we all went about life without much fanfare concerning the large white owl constantly outside my bedroom window. My parents had a bunch of kids and my guess is that they were not listening or believing me when I told them about the owl. Once as an adult I questioned my mother who was by then in her 80s about that owl and she told me she remembered me mentioning it a few times but thought I was confused and it was just a dove or something. I thought that was odd but my mother was not one to investigate things so that explanation did fit with her personality. Gee! I never knew that a white owl was unusual .. Now my mind is turning try to remember all the times I witnessed on. The old garage more like a shed my Dad had boarded up as he was afraid the roof would cave in, and the same shed I tried to get into when I stuck my whole foot in a giant black and yellow bumble bee nest. under my experiences .. Anyway I was always trying to get in there. Once I crawled in a window between two boards and when I hit the floor the light from outside was shinny on one of these white owls . it was as close to my face as 8 inches. I remember freezing up and I could not move. like in some kind of shock. I do not remember what happened next. I do not remember running away. I did tell my Mother about the scary owl in the old shed out back. She said there was no reason to fear a owl. Fear is what I have when I look at these critters.. yes they are beautiful . Thanks but no thanks.. What chance is there they are commonly know in Illinois? I had no idea . As a child I just thought they were sitting in all the trees at night in my neighborhood ..

Once I was on the tracks with my brother playing. Down a ways from where we seen the fireball. I open a door to one of the trolley houses along the tracks yep there was a white owl . I screamed for my brother and told him to run . we never stopped til we reach the back door of our house. Nothing else happened that I can remember now. I know there are other times. Will post them here if I can remember.. The most common here was the screech owl. Now those little darling are cute as can be.. I have told this many times.. not sure about this forum.. When I read the book Communion the first time I got the shock of my life in every chapter. I wanted to know what owl he seen for sure. I put it down many times and I was afraid to read more. Then he told about the aliens smelling like burnt cardboard. Now that time I did not pick up the book again for several months.. This was back in the late eighties. Another time I tried to read it again he mentioned in the field as a boy the praying mantis type standing over him. It was just too much to be by chance..

I just did some reading online for you Lois. Barn Owls are fairly common in Illinois. They often nest in old mines or caves... they might have had a nest in that garage...

I think that owl is pretty common in my neck of the woods too. Out here we put out 'owl' boxes for them to nest in. I was so fortunate the other day to see a bald eagle..so few of them left.

My sister whom I shared a room with growing up, was utterly terrified of a "wolf at our window" from about the age of 4 years old on. My parents sort of brushed it off as a vivid nightmare, that seemed real to her and an overactive imagination. (This was in the mid 1980's on LI, in NY state) The thing is, she never grew out of it or forgot about it as you'd expect a toddler to do. In fact, she was utterly insistent that it was real, she was awake...and that it happened more than once! She couldn't even stand stories depicting wolves. When The Neverending Story came out on film, a few years into this, Dad barred her from watching it altogether, because of the talking black wolf scene. She described this 'entity' as a wolf standing at the window of our bedroom staring inside. She said it was able to speak to her, and knew her name. At one point she insisted I had seen it, too, and demanded to know why I was lying about it to mom and dad. I truly have no such recollection. When she failed to outgrow the 'monster fears' our father even took her outside the bedroom window and demonstrated to her that it was first floor but more than 8 feet off the ground --- impossible for him, a full grown man, to stand and look through without a ladder. He also told her (again) there weren't even coyotes on LI, let alone "wolves". She didn't believe him. He then took her to the Ecology Center (kind of a Parks Dept nature center open to school groups and the public) to talk to a ranger that told her the same thing. I'd forgotten about this until running across these "dogmen" vids you posted. I feel bad I never really believed her, now. No one even thought about a UFO/alien connection at the time, so this isn't a story ever reported to any such investigation group, btw." An incident took place on the night of April 15, 2013 and it has bothered my family and I since. We live in Portland, OR. That night, my mother had a very bad respiratory illness. She woke in what she described was like a drug induced stupor. She saw blurry images of what appeared to be people in full surgical dress. One of the 'doctors' called her by name, told her everything would be fine. She recalls a needle being inserted in her arm, and blood was taken. She was unable to speak, and was very confused before she passed out. The next morning she woke up. She saw a needle mark in her arm and became very upset. My stepfather, who was also in the bed with her, noticed that he also had one, which scared him. My stepfather has a serious phobia of needles. When he sees the doctor, he must be sedated before they can insert any sort of needle into him. He literally throws up and passes out on seeing needles. He often must leave the room when blood is taken from my mother. He remembered nothing, but was feeling very drowsy and confused. They both came in and asked me if I had let paramedics in the night before. I was wary of their question, and told them no. That night, I had been surfing the internet. Since I was working a graveyard shift at the time, I had only woken up at about 8pm. Yet after 2 hours of being awake, I suddenly was overcome with such drowsiness and exhaustion I crawled back into my bed and slept on. I fell asleep within minutes, which was very strange. I woke up feeling sore all over, which was weird, but no puncture or needle marks on my arms at all. I had no recollection of anything the night before. When they both showed me these strange needle marks, I was intrigued. They told me that they had fallen asleep suddenly, probably around the same time I did, judging by what was on TV when they fell asleep. What was even more bizarre is that my cats were very spooked the next day. This was very interesting, as my largest cat never gets spooked. Vacuum cleaners, dogs, loud sounds...nothing phases him. Yet I found him hiding under a bunch of boxes, and he hissed at me each time I tried to reach in and get him. The other cats were terrified and hiding all through the house. My stepfather also told me the door was unlocked. I remember him locking the door every night. We lived in a bad neighborhood and always made sure it was locked. We have been puzzled over it for these past five years, and I've done a lot of research. I cannot seem to find any possible explanations. Although I have always been interested in the UFO phenomenon, it seemed that the alien abduction theory was not a serious question. However, as I conduct more research, I have become a bit more confused. I have been reluctant to submit a report to any of the agencies. I found your name on Google and decided to write you. What happened to us? I'm really interested in getting to the bottom of this "high strangeness" and am looking for an answer. RJ NOTE: I've read and have heard a variety of strange incidents from ordinary people. I talked to this experiencer by telephone, and believe that he and his family may have been subjected to some type of experimentation. None of them have had any known side effects since this incident, so it's difficult to give them a explanation. The description is very similar to suspected MILAB abduction scenarios. I can't say that this is the case here, but it may need to be considered. Lon
