'Laughing' at the 'release the hounds' comment. I have 7 cats and two dogs. Won't count the snake (she doesn't have much ambition). I know they are no real protection...except for very human intruders...but it brings me some sense of satisfaction in knowing they would end up as tangled piles on the floor. I stumble over them all of the time myself. My daughter loves preying mantis's...and there is a time of year here when they show up..and she saves them by the dozen. They creep me out like other big eyed crawlies do but seeing one of the cats toying with one..isn't as disgusting a scene as it should be. I have to clean the snake's house and buy it's monthly frozen rat. I know...it's skin feels verrrrrrrrrrry similar to other skin I've encountered. Seeing it contained in a glass enclosure...doesn't make me sad for the snake either. I was thinking the other day...how of all people...I end up with the snake (she's about 4 ft long). I found a nice home for my son's two 9 ft boa's since he's moving..and they felt 'that' way too. It's like someone is giving me the experience of facing my demons. How nice.

I too love Snakes and the other reptiles, but Maggots, Caterpillars, Earthworms and Night Crawlers. all the worm like critters "Yuk! Yuk! Yuk!" erk the hell out of me. I now have three dogs Fox a golden Chow Chow, Storm (Labbit) Lab and Pit, Brujo full Pit, and a cat which because of her malformed front paws is called Mittens. I love birds but not encaged, all horses but Clydesdales are my favorites. but I can't ride them any more.

I've been around horses since I was born. My father raised thoroughbreds for the track..but I love all of the breeds and have ridden most. I trained and showed miniatures for several years and they were amazingly fun and smart little things. I love Arabs. Talk about arrogance..and beauty. Yeah..I don't do bugs well at all..especially anything in the grasshopper family. But just about anything that slithers, crawls, swims or belongs to the animal kingdom..seems to gravitate to me...including those I am not fond of at all. Some of us seem to be 'animal' kin..some people..some know the in's and out's of music or technology. I think in the beginning we all had a 'specialty' and that it still sticks. I truly can feel the feelings of my animals.

In my dealings with Abductees and Experiencers most of them are not only artist but also very nature conscious and animal lovers.
OBTW:
There are thousands of Preying Mantis and Lady Bugs released every year in New York State, because they are considered to be among the Helpful Insects, and so are protected under the law, so there's a $500.00 fine for killing or bothering them. What are the laws where you are? Is it worth it?

Apparently my cats don't know the law...I've rescued quite a few. I know it's not the bug..it's the eyes..same with shark eyes. A shark cannot help being a shark..nor can any creature help being what God intended for it to be. Not their fault they have those 'eyes' and resemble what they do.

I am like you too Jo. I will rescue even those things that geek me out. But if they get on me I figure they are asking for ascension. So I "Ascend" them.
Ahhhh! Ascend! Ascend! Ascend!

OBTW:
A question about that scampering thing bugs do. Doesn't remind you of the speed that "The Guys" can move about? How fast they can be upon you from considerable distances? That awful quick thump thump thump of those little feet? How it always takes only three steps to be upon you?

I have no memory of them nabbing me. I was just out riding with my friend then on a table surrounded. I have some confusion in my head about movement . While I can't recall direct movement I still 'remember' both darting jerky movement and fluid movement also. Sometimes it just all gets tangled in a ball and causes me nasty headaches when I try to push too hard. I saw their arms move I am sure..I was on a table with one at my head..and my head was hurting so badly and it felt stuffed like it was about to explode. My friend was across from me with three of them around her..she was hysterical and screaming and I know they were fighting to control her. I was so afraid for her..but the less I struggled with the thing...the less my head hurt. I finally blacked out and then it was a twilight sleep..in and out of consciousness. When I woke next...it was from horribly intense pain in my abdomen an Rose was laying there like she was dead. I never 'saw' the ship or them take us..well..I don't remember that. I remember the deep thrumming noise that seemed to penetrate my very bones..I call it a didgeridoo noise..it's similar. Any kind of pulsing vibration..creeps me out now. That's about it..burn on my neck but I do know that was from something very cold not hot. 'shrug' Of the first when I was a child...nothing. Image of a monster..a bug in my ear making horrible bug noise and me running hysterically through the house LOL. I was 5/6 ish...and I don't think I have been un-afraid since. Of most everything.

OMDG Jo: You did it again. I remember the deep thrumming noise that seemed to penetrate my very bones..I call it a didgeridoo noise..it's similar. Any kind of pulsing vibration..creeps me out now.Excerpted from: Ghost Shards, Implants, And Little Blue Doctors
For a long time, I had three main reoccurring fragmental memories. I call them "Ghost Shard memories" for they are from a point so far back in my life that they were never clear, but they were so emotionally intense that they would not allow me to write them off as " Dreamental Fragmentations " although I tried many times to do so. They have been with me as long as I can remember and originally had no connection to anything until I reached my thirties. The first one was that my parents, my siblings Theresa, Chuck and Ralph, and I, were all laying on mattresses on the floor of the living room of our apartment in 1404 Prospect Avenue. We could not move and my eyes were fixed to the pattern off the rust spots on the tin ceiling.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a deafening noise or buzzing all around and I could hear my fathers helpless cries of terror and Mother screaming above the roar, "Close your eyes, close your eyes don't look at them."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Your "Deep thrumming noise that seemed to penetrate my very bones..I call it a didgeridoo noise." is a spot on perfect description of my "Deafening noise or buzzing."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
And that's the way it was.
During the 50s the same droning noise would sometimes come from the Bronx skies day or night mainly when they were overcast by nimbostratus clouds, Other times it would come as a deep continuous rumbling or a sound like thousands of airplanes would go on and off for hours. Although the police and CBS News called the air force we never found out from them what it was. Even Walter Cronkite once spoke about the mystery sound on the Evening News, but gave no explanation for it, he only commented on all the reports coming from The Bronx about the noises from the sky. "Uncle Walter"

I've discovered, and I am not sure how I feel about it, that I remember more and can analyze my feelings with much greater clarity...when I'm writing about it. It seems to flow without effort when I don't think about it so hard. I'm used to that sensation when I'm 'reading' for others..having the information just pop into my space..but not when it's about my own experiences. The noise and that particularly intense electric blue light. I'm drawn to it and repelled by it at the same time. For Lois, it's a green light that haunts her. I think all of us have 'tells' we just are not always aware.

Ding! Ding! Ding! Jo you are like a house in fire: You are setting off all the bells. As a kid I had a fear and hatred of ring and florescent lights they gave me head aches and were (for me) too *bleep* noisey. They creeped the hell out of me and gave every thing a greenish, a yellowish, a orangey, or blueish tint. Although I use, I don't like these new bulbs or led lights too. It took years for me too get use to Black Lights, Phosphorescent and Neon or Day Glow Colors, Color TVs, Video Game Screens. All of them gave me headaches and made me nauseous at a glance. I called them all "Headache Colors." The 60, 70s, and the 80s for me were a Headache Hell. It's been suggested I might be Mellophant. OBTW: That pre-dawn grey-blue, early morning turquoise blue, and phosphorescent green all are colors of glows I have seen around some of the UFOs I have video taped in the late eighties and early nineties. Although I do like these colors they still give me an uneasiness in my chest.

Sucks big time. I do have a question for you..in thinking about abductions. Has anyone run any kind of statistics on %'s of racial abductions? You and Barney Hill are the only two black men (or women) that I've ever heard of as abductees. I haven't heard much about other races but I'm sure they exist. I am wondering if that's because of people not wanting to come forward. Do you know of any studies done?

It seems there is no difference to then the race in the amount of people they take. It's the media and the racial temperence of the investigater that makes it seem that there is a preference among these beings as to the race of the ones they take. It's your lineage they are interested in not your race. Black dog, white dog, red dog, brown dog, yellow dog, spotted or fawn dog, all are still just one species dogs. The same goes for we humans to them, we are all just one species humans. They are all of the Quantum Mind (Telepathic), and that being so I don't even think "They" see a racial difference between themselves or us, we all having been borne children of the same one Mother Universe. This is why they are known as Star Brothers, Space Brothers, Sky Brothers, Celestial Brothers. They were always known by all the other older native cultures of the Earth to be family. Too bad we don't think that way any more. Maybe we wouldn't be so afraid now

Different races and different cultures have different ways of dealing with unexplained phenomena like alien abductions. It's not so much that blacks or orientals or whoever don't get abducted, they just don't come forward and discuss it as much. There is more of a tendency to keep it to themselves. The same could be said for people in different countries. Can you imagine somebody in someplace like Iran or Syria telling people they were abducted by aliens? They would probably be arrested because of it...if not something a lot worse. As for the deep thrumming noise y'all are talking about, I heard it too. So did Lois. She describes it as sounding like the blades of a fan while I think it sounded more like an electrical transformer. I've also heard it described as sounding like the purring of a cat. All of those, including your didgeridoo thingy sound very similar. I started a thread on here a long time ago about the sounds of an abduction and I posted youtube videos of each of those different noises as illustrations. They still creep me out listening to them. That thread is still on here somewhere. I have no idea where but I'll try to find it.

You are sooooo right skywalker: I caught hell from the Blacks and Latinos in my neighborhood when I started to talk about the UFOs I started to see over the area. Even those that saw then with me dared not to talk about it, or lied that they saw any thing, although they were screaming in terror and amazement like the others in the crowd did. See: A Sky Within The SkyThis was tantamount to a religious event (well at was for me I became a Catholic) I and fifty people witness a Gigantic UFO rip open a clear nights sky to reveal another sky-scape from out of which was released yet another Gigantic Moon like UFO, which dances and explodes into a enormouse spreading to fade out into nothingness to repeat three times. Yet I was the only to speak about it or seek answers as to what the hell we all had seen. Approximately twenty plus years later I was able to contact a youth back then, a full grown man when we spoke about it. His attitude about it the incident was so nonchalant about it as if it had been an everyday occurence we god witnessed, at night. He said no one there said or did anything after I left, as if nothing had happened at all. He said he himself and no one else there had mentioned or thought about it again after that night, not until I contacted him about it did he think about it again. Thus event shattered my weltanschauung, reordered my life, and set me on the very path that I'm still meandering down today. Some one please yell me: Is it just me, or does the sky always open to show another sky within it, and I am the only one that just hadn't noticed it?

Maybe you were looking into another place and time. This sort of happen to me once as a child . The room around me changed for a minute, everything in it had changed. I was at a relatives home. It soon changed back. What was it I was seeing Posey? The bright sunny room turned dark and bleak.

This was some kind of Dimensional Rift or Portal Opening we all saw the same thing at the same time. The sky with in it was more turquoise while ours was a more a dark violet. The other sky had different star formations than does ours. But those dancing moons that came out were in our skies when they exploded. The doorway closed right behind them each time they breached our side. In my renderings they were too small in actuality they were the same size as the opening that they came through. (My bad I was just learning to paint with my PhotoShop when I made those.) Sounds like what we Chuck, Ralph, and I called an Enapse. These can and do spontaneously occur anywhere, at any place, or time. They too have to do with the same phenomena that you have spoken of above. It's not always aliens, sometimes it's worse.
