www.livescience.com/22299-conspiracy-theorists-ufo-over-antarctica.html UFO Over Antarctica? Benjamin Radford, LiveScience Bad Science Columnist Date: 13 August 2012 A video taken of the Antarctic research station Neumayer-Station III appears to show what some are calling a UFO over the South Pole. Published on Aug 11, 2012 by myunhauzen74
Obviously, this is not the moon. This is a real object in the sky! Maybe it's the appearance of Nibiru? The image can be viewed here www.awi.de/NM_WebCam/livemovieW.html The time interval 11: 10. For more exclusive information on UFOs, visit: x-u-f-o.blogspot.comThe video posted to YouTube seems to show a round, blurry object floating above the station on Aug. 10. Speculation has run rampant, with conspiracy theorists and UFO buffs swapping explanations ranging from government collaboration with aliens to a top-secret test of some new cutting-edge secret weapon. While a definitive explanation has not been found, several elements suggest a prosaic answer. The supposed UFO appears more or less directly over the research station; it also appears to be nearly perfectly round and about the right size for a balloon. Neumayer-Station III, a scientific research station, carries out tests and experiments in a wide variety of areas, including geophysics, meteorology and atmospheric chemistry. Weather balloons are used extensively to study and sample the atmosphere at different times and altitudes above Antarctica. One UFO buff admitted that most of the evidence suggested it was indeed a balloon, except for one mysterious fact: "none could explain why the object appeared in just a few frames." It's true that the object appears in only a few frames of the footage. However this becomes much less mysterious when you realize that the original video has been sped up. That's what happens in time-lapse photography: objects that are not stationary for long periods of time (people, vehicles, animals, clouds, etc.) only appear in a few frames — depending of course on the frame rate of the video and how fast they move. There's nothing mysterious about it. Please note, although the length of time that you see the object is brief, before I got to my video camera to start filming it was glowing incredibly brightly. Like someone in the sky was shining a dazzlingly bright torch. It was unreal.

British Civil Aviation Authority Highly Interested In Pilots' UFO Sightings Posted: 08/28/2012 Despite the fact the UK's Ministry of Defense officially ended its UFO investigations in 2009, it appears that the British Civil Aviation Authority decided -- unbeknownst to the public -- to continue collecting reports that involved UFOs with possible flight safety issues. "They were only interested in sightings that definitely had a bearing on aircraft or flight safety, and were no longer interested in reports from the public, who'd seen things in the sky and reported them to the Civil Aviation Authority," said David Clarke, the official UK National Archives consultant and a journalism lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. Clarke, told the Huffington Post that the Civil Aviation Authority -- a different government department from the MoD -- kept separate records of UFO cases, "not only by the aircrew, themselves, but also anything unusual that was seen by air traffic controllers on the ground at airports." Through the filing of Freedom of Information requests, Clarke found that the Royal Air Force specifically requested any UFO reports submitted to the Department of Transport would no longer be forwarded to the MoD. The RAF specifically states that "members of the public who make such reports are not encouraged to believe an investigation will take place." It's now known that British air traffic controllers have been receiving UFO reports on almost a regular basis. Speaking on the BBC Radio's "Today" programme, on Aug. 17, Richard Deakin, the head of the UK's National Air Traffic Control Services, was asked if he or his staff had ever been unable to identify a flying object. "Well, occasionally, there are objects that are identified that don't conform to normal traffic patterns -- not just from the UK point of view, but from around the world," Deakin responded. "I have to say it's not something that occupies a huge amount of my time." Deakin added that these sightings occur "typically around one a month." If that's true, then Clarke's calculations of how many actual UFO sightings were written up as Mandatory Occurrence Reports, or MORS, was substantially higher. "As far as MOR reports that I got from using the Freedom of Information, from December 2004 to October 2010, their actual database listed 10 instances of UFOs or unidentified aircraft," said Clarke. "Now [Deakin] is saying they get a report every month," he added. "If that was the case, I'd expect it to be 80 in that six-year period, not 10. So, my question is: Where did all the others go?" This comes on the heels of the Ministry of Defense's ruling that all UFO investigations in the UK have come to an end. According to the MoD's website: The MoD has no opinion on the existence or otherwise of extra-terrestrial life. However, In over fifty years, no UFO report has revealed any evidence of a potential threat to the United Kingdom. The MoD has no specific capability for identifying the nature of such sightings. There is no defence benefit in such investigation. Furthermore, responding to reported UFO sightings diverts MoD resources from tasks that are relevant to defence.UK pilots have reported a number of chilling near-misses with UFOs. One incident involved David Hastings, a British pilot pictured below, who, along with his co-pilot, David Paterson, was flying a Cessna Skymaster plane over the Mojave Desert in America on Sept. 9, 1985. www.cambridge-news.co.uk/Home/Close-encounter-or-just-far-fetched-04092012.htmVIDEO: Close encounter or just far-fetched?Raymond Brown Published on Aug 28, 2012 by xxxdonutzxxx UFO | OVNI | НЛО | Cambridge, England | August 27, 2012 One of the Britain’s top UFO experts is baffled by a video of what may be a bizarre phenomenon over Cambridge. Nick Pope, who worked at the Ministry of Defence (MoD) investigating UFOs, has watched the YouTube video, which is claimed to have been shot in the city. The X-Files expert, whose duties at the MoD included investigating reports of UFOs and close encounters between 1991 and 1994, investigated the strange footage. It shows three balls of light which appear to be moving in the sky in a controlled manner. Mr Pope said: “It’s an intriguing video. I ran through a few potential options – Chinese lanterns, fireballs or military jet afterburners – but nothing seems to fit the bill. “It would be interesting to know whether anything unusual was tracked on radar. “Many of the UFO videos found on YouTube are fakes and with CGI it’s easy to produce some pretty convincing imagery. “If I still worked at the MoD, I could have had the film analysed in a proper, scientific way, by RAF specialists, but this option is no longer available to me now I’ve left government service. “When a story about a UFO sighting runs in a newspaper, it often encourages other witnesses to come forward. It will be interesting to see if that happens here.” Mr Pope believes UFO and so-called Grey alien sightings raise important issues for defence, national security and air safety. His final role at the MoD, which he held until 2006, was Directorate of Defence Security. Since leaving the government job he has given lectures and TV interviews about his views on the existence of UFOs. He recently said mass summer events like the Olympic Games in London would be a prime time for aliens to reveal themselves. Picture: Supplied Source: HWT Image Library A WESTERN suburbs man claims he has footage of a UFO over Melbourne. Albanvale resident Ivan, who did not want his surname published, said he filmed the fast-moving disc-shaped object descending and ascending high above his house about 7pm last Tuesday. He said a neighbour called him outside to witness the spectacle, both looking on in astonishment. "I have dismissed a lot of things thinking of what it could be," Ivan said. "But I am left with very little other than to think it is something unearthly." Ivan said he recorded about eight minutes of footage, but the object lingered in the sky for around an hour. He claimed it changed colour - switching between green, red and blue - and for several seconds at a time disappeared. The object supposedly met or released another object as it flew away. "The manoeuvrability and agility of it was phenomenal," Ivan said. "It was quite extraordinary." Ivan said he was speaking with a television network about selling the footage. Sceptics claim the object may have been a remote controlled toy plane but Ivan was adamant this was not possible. www.ufodigest.com/article/jceti-director-ufo-ground-light-contacts-japanSeptember 18, 2012 UFO ground light contacts in Japan - JCETI Director By Jon Kelly A UFO ground light is captured on the side of a mountain in Japan using a digital night vision camera system. Credits: Japan Center for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (JCETI) “It doesn’t really matter how many times you see [UFOs], it’s more about what happens inside,” explains Gregory Sullivan, Director of the Japan Center for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (JCETI). JCETI is a public education and outreach program providing training and resources for CE-5 (Close Encounters of the Fifth Kind) Skywatching, ET Disclosure and Ambassador Training based in Kyushu, Japan. Reportedly a “version update for the whole UFO scene in Japan,” Mr. Sullivan shared JCETI’s vision with The Secret Message Report in an exclusive one hour interview now available online. Click here to listen to an exclusive one-hour podcast interview featuring Japan Center for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (JCETI) Director Gregory Sullivan on The Secret Message Report with host and former CBS Radio Feature Producer Jon Kelly, available now on YouTube’s SecretMessageTV. Ground Lights Japan’s abundant and unique mountain terrain reportedly plays host to numerous locations where mysterious ground light phenomena are observed and reported. Civilian observers say the ground lights shimmer in ways reminiscent of “a living light or a candle light.” “We’ve had them posing as cars moving in mysterious directions where there’s no roads on a mountain. The mountains provide a very high-contrast backdrop where they’ve time and time again demonstrated bilateral communications with our groups,” explains Gregory Sullivan, whose career as a musician and sound engineer led him to Japan. “I was a musician and sound engineer working with a lot of musicians and artists in the first five years I was here. I had absolutely nothing to do with the new-age spiritual or social movements in Japan at all.” Mr. Sullivan, the author of one UFO book in Japanese (with another title to be published soon) is now certain that the mountains of Japan shelter underground UFO bases. “These are real hotspots where [UFO] activity on the ground, near the ground and under the ground is definitely a lot more of a focus, rather than the sky.” Read this and other related stories in the Vancouver UFO Examiner for Examiner.com. www.examiner.com/article/ufo-activity-over-niagara-falls-reinforces-testimony-on-aliens UFO activity over Niagara Falls reinforces testimony on aliens September 19, 2012 By: Raymond Samuels A witness reports UFO activity over Niagara Falls, Canada on 11 September 2012 according to testimony documented on UFO Sightings Daily that was published on 19 September 2012. The report reinforces allegations of a military base under Lake Ontario that had been made by Commander X who wrote Underground Alien Bases in 1990 (ISBN:0-938294-92-X). UFO Sightings Daily is coordinated by Scott C. Waring, who is a UFO researcher and author who has become an hoannary astronomer through his independent investigative research on anomalies in space and on planets like Mars. Mr. Waring had been affiliated with the United States Air Force at SAC base (USAF flight line). He currently owns an ESL School in Taiwan. Mr. Waring described how the witness made the video recording of UFO activity over Niagara Falls, Ontario. Video evidence HERE. : agoracosmopolitan.com/news/headline_news/2012/09/20/4490.html“The person that recorded the video said he was holding the night vision goggles in front of the camcorder to see the objects better.” Mr. Waring describes the apparent intelligently-guided nature of the UFO activity, “There appears to be three glowing orbs in this video but may be more and they assume the triangle formation several times.” In Underground Alien Bases, Commander X presented his representation on reported UFO activities over Lake Ontario. “Some pretty weird things have been seen from both the Canadian and American sides. The UFOs seen here are pretty much always the same. They are orange-coloured spheres which have the ability to dart across the heavens at incredible speeds, while at other times hover silently like diamonds twinkling in the evening sky. First they shoot out of "nowhere," and then land for a moment or two on the water itself before submerging into the depths of Lake Ontario. If there isn't an underwater UFO base on Lake Ontario, I'll eat my green beret.” Commander X elaborates on other UFO photographic evidence over Lake Ontario. “Indeed, the strange behaviour on the Lake has convinced several UFO researchers living in the area that the occupants of these craft have constructed underwater bases from which they are free to roam into nearby space without being easily detected. Further proof that these reports should be taken seriously comes in the form of startling photographic evidence - pictures that show bizarre, highly illuminated lights whose origin remains totally unknown at this date.” Commander X further elaborates that other UFO researchers used similar “night vision” techniques described by the Niagara Falls, Ontario witness. “According to Malcolm Williams, researcher for the Northeastern UFO Organization, infrared photos taken in the dark of night from the shores of Lake Ontario show all sorts of anomalies which cannot be either conventional aircraft or meteorological phenomena. Taken on various occasions, the photos show a pattern of lights in the sky which are definitely under intelligent control as they zig zag from one position to another in the heavens. One photo shows an object actually resting on top of the water, apparently about ready to make a plunge beneath Lake Ontario.”

www.ufodigest.com/article/puerto-ricos-incredible-decade-1987-1997 Puerto Rico's Incredible Decade 1987-1997 By Scott Corrales November 04, 2012 [Author's note: This feature appeared originally in the United Kingdom's sadly defunct UFO MATRIX magazine and formed part of my regular Orbis Tertius column -- its title being a nod to that extraordinary Argentinean author and translator, Jorge Luis Borges. The "incredible decade", too, is a nod to M.K. Jessup and his description of abnormal activity in the late 19th century. Some of the information presented may be "old hat" to readers of my work in Tim Beckley's UFO UNIVERSE or FATE magazine, but it might give new readers an appreciation of what was going on two decades ago in the Caribbean. -- SC]Looking back at major outbreaks of UFO activity always has a dream-like effect. In later years it becomes hard to believe that perfectly ordinary parts of our world can be swept up in a frenzy over unusual activity, bordering on hysteria. Perhaps for this reason, the Spanish-speaking countries have used the term “psychosis” to characterize the atmosphere surrounding a saucer flap, for example. The image that best characterizes this is the tabloid cover photo of a police officer and a knot of teenagers looking up at the night sky, with the screaming headline “¡platillera psicósis!” referring, in this case, to the 1991 UFO events in Mexico City. Similar circumstances occurred in Puerto Rico, an island known for its heavy UFO activity, usually centering on two specific areas: El Yunque Rainforest in the northeastern corner of the island, within a stone’s throw of the capital city of San Juan, and the island’s southwestern corner, where unusual events centered around the communities of Cabo Rojo and Lajas. Unidentified flying objects had made themselves at home in the Seventies, resulting in localized “flaps” the received worldwide attention, and even prompted politicians to call for an official study into the nature of the phenomenon. The leading theory explaining the recurrent UFO appearances over that particular zone involves the unusual magnetic fields found in the vicinity of Maricao State Forest, which has been a notorious materialization point for unidentified vehicles over the years. Laguna Cartagena is in the state forest's vicinity, and excessive interest in Laguna Cartagena prompted police and Civil Defense authorities to cordon off the area and have discouraged investigators from visiting the area, citing "disruptions to the lagoon's fragile ecology". The southwestern corner of the roughly rectangular island has for centuries been the stage for paranormal events. In the 1600, the Blessed Virgin appeared in the town of Hormigueros, where many Lourdes-like cures have taken place; in 1953, a boy named Juan Collado had been visited by an entity claiming to be the Virgin, who instructed him to tell his parents and other adults that she would re-appear near a well on a given date. Thousands of people from around the island flocked to the site of the "miraculous" well, standing in hurricane-season rain to wait for the Blessed Virgin to appear. The situation, reminiscent of Fátima in 1917, led to many sudden healings, and although there was no "miracle of the sun", many observed a glowing UFO land upon a hill not distant from the well. In spite of the torrential rain, the UFO managed to set the dense tropical vegetation on fire. In 1974, a UFO flap coincidental with the wave taking place stateside produced hundreds of sightings, abduction reports, mysterious human disappearances, numerous mutilations of cattle and, oddly enough, the Blessed Virgin staged a reappearance, producing more miracles. The Eighties, however, were quiet – a silence that was in step with the lack of UFO activity worldwide – and many researchers who had been active during the previous decade returned to “civilian” life. Dawn of a New Saucer Age An incident in Cabo Rojo on May 31, 1987 served as the metaphorical starters pistol for the resurgence of a decade of UFO and paranormal activity in the island. Puerto Rico’s south-western coast was rocked by an explosion and an earthquake at a reported depth of some 80,000 feet. Witnesses reported plumes of bluish smoke emerging from cracks in the ground along with a series of aftershocks. Seismographs soon issued conflicting reports: originally, the tremor’s epicenter was under Laguna Cartagena at a depth of 8000 feet. Later, it was moved out to sea, somewhere in the Mona Passage. The earthquake had a most unusual aftermath: those living in the immediate area of Laguna Cartagena were evacuated by military personnel while figures garbed in decontamination gear conducted a thorough survey of the area, including samples of earth, water and vegetable matter. The day following the event, rural residents saw what appeared to be a military helicopter hovering above the lagoon, lowering what appeared to be sensitive equipment into the water. This unknown instrumentation package proved to be of great interest to someone else: on June 3, 1987, at 10:30 p.m., a cylindrical object resembling a giant hot-water tank with red and blue “navigation” lights on either end emerged from the Caribbean and positioned itself directly over the lagoon, to the consternation of onlookers. The silent UFO repeated its manoeuvre at the same time of night on June 4th and 5th. Unidentified flying objects in myriad configurations would become, from then on, a staple of south-western Puerto Rico Whatever the strange objects in the sky were, and whatever unexplained intelligence was behind them, returned to the scene with an intensity that exceeded earlier flap events. The phenomenon was now chronicled in the press – daily papers and specialized publications alike – and recent sightings, encounters and abductions competed for space with older stories that could now finally be told as experiencers felt encouraged to share them with the public. And some of the newer cases were mind-boggling: jet interceptors absorbed by menacing, behemoth triangular craft, the whereabouts of their pilots unknown; diminutive humanoids reported at road crossings, streams, beaches and -- most disturbingly -- bedrooms; rumors of an increase in activity by U.S. military personnel and Federal agents aimed at maintaining a “cover-up” merged seamlessly with intense official action against native terrorist groups (the so-called “Macheteros”) creating a palpable atmosphere of excitement tinged with fear. www.indianexpress.com/news/ufos-sightings-skyrocket-across-jammu-and-kashmir-arunachal/1027127/ UFOs sightings skyrocket across Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal New Delhi, Mon Nov 05 2012 The Army troops deployed along the China border from Ladakh in Jammu and Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh in northeast have reported more than 100 sightings of "Unidentified Flying Objects" (UFOs) in the last three months. Agencies including the Army, DRDO, NTRO and the ITBP have not yet been able to identify these luminous flying objects. The 14 Corps, which looks after military deployment along Kargil-Leh and looks after the frontiers with China, has sent reports to the Army Headquarters about the sightings of UFOs by an ITBP unit in Thakung near the Pangong Tso Lake, Army officials said here. Reports suggested that these yellowish spheres appear to lift off from the horizon on the Chinese side and slowly traverse the sky for three to five hours before disappearing. The officials confirmed that these UFOs were not Chinese drones or satellites. They said Army had also moved a mobile ground-based radar unit and a spectrum analyser to verify the identity of the object but could not detect the object that was being tracked visually, indicating it was non-metallic. Army officials expressed concern over the inability of agencies to identify the object which some believed could be a Chinese surveillance equipment. Sources said similar reports had emerged about five-six years ago about sighting of such objects but the matter was not taken up at higher levels. Reports suggested that a group of mountaineers had seen a UFO in 2004 in Lahaul and Spiti valley in Himachal Pradesh and investigations were launched into the incident by various agencies. www.ufodigest.com/article/ufos-and-third-world-countriesNovember 13, 2012 UFOs and Third World Countries By Tom King UFO sightings are on the rise again and it is believed that alien beings are at the controls. Hundreds of UFO sightings have been reported all around the world and especially in third world countries. These places are more rural and farm country. The authorities have little or no presence. It is a well known fact that in the industrial, high tech countries a huge big cover up is in full-tilt operation. Incorrect data or misinformation and disinformation about what UFOs really are continues to be spread by authorities. Much like the USAF cover ups of Roswell and the flying saucer crash of 1947, these statements by authorities mislead the public about UFOs. These new UFO sightings are being covered up by disinformation and misinformation. Getting to the truth about UFOs and alien beings on Earth will not be easy. In lesser developed countries the cover up apparatus is either non existent or weak. Therefore, finding the truth about UFOs and alien beings may be quite easy. The local people are reporting them daily and UFO experts are there investigating and keeping the sightings in the news. So, try as they may, the people covering up UFO sightings are not silencing reporters. Freedom of the press lives on in America too. Authorities trying to shut down the presses will continue, but with little success. People want to know the truth about UFOs and aliens. So, the investigation moves South to Mexico and Central America where sightings are on the rise. The recent photos and eye witness reports of UFOs have been authentic and believable. These reports of UFO sightings in third world countries are where the really good action is and there are no authorities to interfere with investigations by UFO experts. www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10850504 Mystery lights in sky spark UFO claims (+video) Wednesday Nov 28, 2012 Rotorua and the Bay of Plenty have been a hotbed of unusual aerial activity, with multiple sightings of strange phenomena in the region's skies. On Monday or Tuesday night on October 29 or 30, at least four people at the Challenge petrol station on Malfroy Rd witnessed five glowing orbs move slowly across the road toward Sunset Rd for about 30 seconds before they disappeared behind trees. A Challenge petrol station employee, who only wanted to be known as Michelle, said she and at least three others watched the orbs, which appeared about 8pm just before dark. "A customer came in and asked 'can you see that?', we were all wondering what was going on. "They were all perfectly round with a larger orange-coloured orb leading about four smaller orbs all in a line about the same distance apart. They were moving on an angle before they disappeared behind some trees." Michelle said the glowing orbs were in the sky about 200m to 300m away from the service station forecourt and they watched them for about 30 seconds. "There's no way they were lights from a plane, they were too big and were not flashing. Our first thought was it was something military but there was no noise and they were just floating there. "We were all a bit freaked out but we weren't imagining things. I'm not one to sensationalise things ... I was reading the paper every day to see if anyone else had seen them." www.ufodigest.com/article/russian-speaking-alien-and-his-corkscrew-shaped-vehicleDecember 09, 2012 Russian Speaking Alien and his Corkscrew-Shaped VehicleBy Scott Corrales On 20 October 1954, Louis Ujvari, 40, a native of Slovakia, got on his bicycle and pedaled away from home. After 10 years in the French Foreign Legion, he had lived in France with his wife and five children for 3 years, specifically in the town of Le Bas in a small, isolated farm near the picturesque road from Saint-Remy to the Fraispertuis Valley. His work shift began at three o’clock in the morning at the Derey works, a construction materials firm, in the town of Etival, so he set off around 02:30. After a few hundred meters, he was forced to dismount and continue the remainder of the way on foot, since the road was under repair, making it unsuitable for his vehicle. As he pushed his bicycle along, he saw the shape of a man. A phrase he couldn’t understand prompted him to freeze in his tracks. The stranger advanced toward him with a gun in his hand, threatening him with the weapon all the time in a language that Ujvari couldn’t understand. The man stood at least 1.65 meters, dressed like a pilot of that time: cloth trousers, collared leather jacket, a sort of cloth balaclava. His boots made an audible noise on the fractured pavement. His time in the military had given the old Legionnaire the rudiments of several languages, and what the man had told him didn’t sound like any of them. So he decided to address him in Russian, and the man suddenly understood. “Where am I?” asked the stranger, “In Italy or Spain?” Ujvari was not afraid, despite the weapon, and explained that he was the Vosges, in the district of Saind-Dié. “Am I far from the German border?” asked the pilot. About a 100 miles from the Rhineland, came the reply. The stranger appeared to be completely disoriented, even asking about the time. Two thirty in the morning, replied Ujvari. The obfuscated man changed the pistol to his other hand in order to pull out a pocket watch. He then shouted angrily: “You lie! It’s four o’clock!” The next question showed that the pilot was more than lost. “How far away is Marsillia?” Ujvari, believing he meant Marseilles, told him. “Go away!” the stranger spat. He accompanied Ujvari for some 30 meters, pointing the sidearm at him throughout. That’s when the old Legionnaire saw the “flying saucer”. Earlier, he had seen an outline that made him think of a car or truck. For a brief moment, he was able to make out the object’s shape – 1.60 meters tall by 3 in diameter, dark grey in color. It looked like two enormous welded plates supporting a dome, crowned by an antenna with corkscrew-shaped fins. He felt the gun’s barrel against his back, prompting him to keep moving. Then he heard: “And now, farewell!” The stranger took off quickly. Ujvari got on his bicycle, escaping toward a farmhouse some 200 meters away. Before being able to warn anyone, he saw a beam projected upward into the sky, the sound of an engine, and saw the saucer rise vertically like a helicopter. Some 10 meters above the ground, the machine accelerated, heading toward Saint-Dié. The pilot turned off the beacon, and the object became lost in the darkness. Ujvari retraced his steps and was unable to find any footprints on the ground. He told his co-workers the story upon reaching the factory. They thought it was a prank or hallucination, but given the former Legionnaire’s insistence, the story reached the ears of the mayor of Saint-Rémy. The gendarmes of Raon-l’Etape were notified, but their investigation added little. The General Information Brigade (Reseignements généraux) – the secret service – also intervened, subjecting Ujvari to questioning. blogs.wsj.com/indiarealtime/2012/12/13/indias-ufo-probe-the-evidence/ December 13, 2012, 11:23 AM India’s UFO Probe: Our Evidence Commentary By Paul Beckett “There is no conclusive proof of Unidentified Flying Objects flying over India-China border” — A.K. Antony, India’s defense minister, in response to a question in the upper house of Parliament, Dec. 12, 2012. India Real Time, tongue firmly in cheek, has gained exclusive access to the full departmental report on which the minister’s answer was based. It is reproduced in full below: To: EGOMUFO Re: Findings of Inquiry Date: Dec. 10, 2012 Status: Confidential The inquiry has investigated several reports of the appearance of Unidentified Flying Objects near the Indo-Chinese border, as per its remit. After exhaustive probes and for the reasons explained below, we have found no conclusive proof that these sightings were authentic. 1. On Oct. 20, 2011, at 4:15 a.m. an Indian army jawan on night watch saw a saucer-shaped spaceship covered in bright flashing lights land near an outpost at the Line of Control. Two luminescent beings about three feet tall, each with six legs and four eyes, appeared from a tube protruding from the side of the craft, approached the jawan and asked, in heavily-accented English, for directions to the planet Zorg. The jawan, having just consumed a large quantity of home-made liquor shared with him by Chinese military personnel in close proximity to the border, thought nothing of the incident and failed to report it in a timely manner to his superiors. In retrospect, this was an unfortunate oversight as it prevented authorities from establishing conclusive evidence. The matter has been referred to the military authorities for review and possible disciplinary action. 2. On another reported occasion, at approximately 2:18 p.m. on Feb. 15, about 0.25 km from the Indo-Chinese border, a small sphere of bright white light appeared about 500 meters above the ground and sucked up eight Indian commandos, one dog, three mountain goats and a snow leopard before ascending into the heavy cloud cover. Six of the commandos were later rescued from a swimming pool in Goa. Two remain unaccounted for. The survivors have no recollection of the event. The incident was witnessed by a local farmer who was grazing his sheep near the Line of Control. But, having recently smoked a very large hand-rolled cigarette, he thought nothing of it and failed to report the incident to the local police in a timely manner. This prevented the establishment of conclusive evidence. Local authorities have opened an inquiry. Addendum: It may also be of interest to note that there have been two reported sightings of UFOs near the Indo-Chinese border that, after extensive investigation, have been conclusively proven not to be authentic. UFO spotted from window of plane over MexicoThis looks pretty interesting if it is real. It kind of reminds me of what some people reported in Stephenville.

theufobureau.com/the-latest-ufo-and-alien-news/ufo-sighting-startles-thai-school-students-the-phuket-newsMonday 14 January 2013 Phuket: UFO sighting startles Thai school studentsThe Thai online community is buzzing about an alleged photo of a UFO that was taken by a high-school student on Christmas Day. On December 25, Sawang Dindaeng School in Sakon Nakhon organised a variety of outdoor activities to celebrate its Sports Day. One of the participants, Thidarat Boonlee, decided to take a photo to commemorate the occasion. At 2pm, she used her cellphone to take a snapshot of her friends, who were seated on the grandstand opposite. In addition to her friends, the high-schooler found that she had snapped a photo of a flying saucer. Incredulous about her find, Thidarat attempted to take a second photo of the coconut tree behind which the UFO had appeared, but the saucer failed to make a second appearance. Weerayos Yuttarin, an English teacher at the school, said that Thidarat was a well-behaved student who was unlikely to fabricate the story. “I heard many teachers talking about their UFO experience on the same day, but I did not believe since there was no concrete evidence,” said Weerayos. Weerayos added that behind the row of coconut trees were townhouses that should not have a height of more than three stories. Curiously, today’s alien visitors to earth appear to have reverted to vintage spacecraft: the UFO looks uncannily like the flying saucer in the famous Adamski photograph taken in California in the 1950s – later revealed to be a truck hubcap. ufos-scientificresearch.blogspot.com/2013/01/shots-fired-at-ufo.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitterWednesday, January 23, 2013 "Shots fired at UFO" Another in a series of posts derived from the newspaper collection on the website of UFO Research (NSW.) The announcement that shots were fired at a UFO was sufficient to draw my attention to the article. On Monday 7 May 1979 one of the stories from the Sydney Telegraph read : "Shots fired as UFO panics town: A local civil servant fired a volley of shots at a UFO hovering over the West Australian town of Eucla. And UFO fever has gripped the tiny town following sightings over the past three nights of a mystery red and silver object. The 20 townspeople are in a whirl over the sightings but a spokesman for the RAAF in Canberra said it was unlikely to send an aircraft to intercept the UFO. A local agricultural officer who fired a high powered rifle at the UFO said "It zoomed off in a flash." At lunchtime yesterday several people also sighted the cigar shaped shining UFO which appeared to be moving towards the town from the South Australian border. After the sighting the object veered away from Eucla but was spotted by several people throughout the afternoon. The shots were fired at the object by Mr A Hardy a permit control officer with the Department of Agriculture. "I just wanted to see what would happen," Mr Hardy said. "It zoomed off in a flash to a much greater height and sat there for three or four hours." A tourist from Tweed Heads also spotted the UFO as he drove towards the border. "It was like a rocket, three or four times the size of an airliner and hanging in the sky," he said. Eucla police believe it may be just a bunch of helium filled party balloons which escaped from a dance at a nearby motel. And Perth weather bureau experts suggest it might be a weather balloon from South Australia or even New Zealand. The assistant manager of the BP Travellers Valley Motel Mr Geoff Munn today could not completely verify the police balloon theory. "We did have a dance hire on Saturday at which about 80 gas filled balloons were used as decorations" he said. A Eucla policeman, Constable G Van Rysinge, said today the sightings had caused a stir in the town. "I haven't seen anything myself but the reports seem genuine," he said.

nationalparanormalassociation.blogspot.com/2013/01/two-men-claim-spacecraft-caused-car.html AUSTRALIA 'Paranormal activity' to blame for car crash near dam Kieran Banks 21st Jan 2013 8:00 AM TWO men who walked away from a car crash on the back roads around Wivenhoe Dam claimed to be chasing an alien space craft when found by police. Police and the driver's insurance company received several sketchy phone calls from the men, who appeared to be convinced paranormal activity caused the crash. Police received the first call from the men at 2.25am Friday, saying they had been in an accident at Split Yard Creek and asked for the RAAF to attend. It later became apparent the car had gone off the road and down an embankment near the Split Yard Creek bridge. As the evening progressed, the men became increasingly agitated and scared of the situation. The phone call dropped out, and after 30 minutes of trying to contact the men, police received a call from RACQ Insurance. Police said the conversations with the men were vague and at times barely understandable. The men began to "freak out", telling the insurance company they were about to disappear and referred to the area as the Bermuda Triangle, police said. Police called the men back, with the second male answering the phone, telling police there were "some really weird things going on" and they had abandoned the car. Police received another call from the men at 4am, claiming that "something paranormal" had occurred and "big bright lights" caused the car accident. Police found the men at 4.10am at the intersection of Wivenhoe-Somerset Rd and Hyne Rd. They were armed with knives and appeared to be protecting themselves. The men became aggressive claiming "there were more of them around". The car's driver was breathalysed. He was over the limit and given a notice to appear in court. One of the men was charged with assaulting a police officer. www.qt.com.au/news/men-tell-police-paranormal-activity-to-blame-for-c/1724085/
