I spoke to a psychiatrist about my shark dreams way back when I was in college. This was when I first started having them and was having trouble sleeping because of it, plus all the other weird crap that was going on. The dude with all of his scientific degrees and psychiatric training listened to a few words that I said, asked a couple of questions and then came up with a diagnosis...he said he thought that I was "sexually confused." Yeah...right. Suuuuuuurrre. The idiot. I pretty much lost all faith in psychiatrists after that. Because of the weird things that I was experiencing like the nightmares, the abduction experiences, and the strange psychic abilities that I suddenly developed, I began to look for my own answers. I even started taking a bunch of courses in psychology to help me try to understand what was going on. I probably have just enough knowledge about psychology to make me dangerous. I'm still studying it on my own now and still trying to learn. I'm even thinking about going back to school and getting a degree in psychology. I have enough credits for a minor in it right now. Sky.. Now where I have heard this before? ;D ;D They always seem to think this is the answer for anything and everyone. Even the psychiatrist have this same answer for those who have an alien abduction, especially that one cross eyed psychologist in all my old ufo Doc. from TV. I cannot remember her name . but she would make me so made everytime she came on a program with her opinions . ;D ;D Do you know who I mean? Everyone here would know her if they seen her. She was always on the same programs with John Mack

Yeah, most psychiatrists do seem to think it is the explanation for everything. That Freud dude must have been a pervert.

No body thought along these lines before him. That is for sure. I often wonder how he got into it.

I got my degree in psychology and I'll have to admit that a great deal in the clinical aspect was difficult for me to swallow. I leaned more to the biological/neurological side of psychology. That, to me, was much more tangible than Frued. My take away after earning my degree..., we don't know squat. Although, biopsych researchers are making strides and medication has come a long way. To me, the mind is just as exotic as space. We have clues as to how it functions, but most is still out of our reach.

That is especially true if we are only using a fraction of our brain power like they claim we are. If we can't even understand the part we are using just imagine what else is whirling around unnoticed in there.

I had another really bad nosebleed last night. I had some UFO/alien related dreams too but I can't remember what they were about. I even told myself when I was awake that I needed to remember the dreams so I could write about them on the forum but when I went back to sleep I forgot them somehow. I can't remember them at all now. The moon is full again too.

Sometimes I'll be thinking about something else or just off in a deep meditation and then it suddenly comes clear and I remember again,,, or at least segments of it. Its happened to me a few days later sometimes and then out of the blue the memory resurfaces. Do you feel it may be caused by the phases of the moon ? Im curious if you drew a chart and logged the nights you had these symptoms you may possibly find a connection to these nosebleeds/ and possibly nightmares too by comparing them to the moons phases. I wonder if a doctor might know ? On the other hand,,,, Id hate to even think it might be ,,,,,

When I was in college (after whatever happened to all of us in a farmhouse one night) I went to the health clinic psychiatrist and told him and horrible dreams I had about beings that looked like the underside of the stingray - downturn slit mouth, no eyes (eyes are on the other side). He told me I was sexually confused as well. Must have been on page 81 of the answer book.

That is actually the reason why I first started this dream thread way back when. I wanted to see if there was any type of pattern to the dreams that I was having. What I have found is that the nightmares and nosebleeds almost always occur withing just a few days of the full moon. The rest of the month I don't have either of them, but when the moon starts getting full that is when they show up. This is the way it has been for at least the past two years...if not longer. There have been a few months where that pattern did not hold true but about 90% of the time it does. I just can't figure out what the connection between them is. What does the full moon have to do with anything? I still don't get it.

Hmm...I wonder if your "stingray" dreams are caused by the same thing as my shark dreams and sanseed's "Jason" memory? Maybe that's is just our mind's way of interpreting what we really saw but can't remember. Surely we can't all be "sexually confused."

When I went to the University psychiatrist and told him my dream/s it was because I was frightened. I had more than one of these dreams. He was obviously Freudian in his interpretations (everything is sexual and twisted). I felt embarassed that I had told him (had I unwittingly confessed to being some weird sexual deviant?) and gave up on further help of this sort. It was shortly after the visitation (or whatever) on the farm.
Just for the record, I think rays - manta and sting rays are very alien but also beautiful. I was surrounded by them while surfing in the Gulf of Mexico - on clear days when the water wasn't stirred up you could see them scooting around from under your feet and relocating just feet ahead. That why it was a bad idea to run out into the water or to jump off a surfboard in waist deep water- if you landed on one they lashed you with their barbed tail. I got hit twice (same place on both ankles) and had scars that slowly faded. They have a toxin in the slime that makes the wound unbelievably painful for about an hour and then it fades off and you feel stupid for moaning and groaning (which you do believe me). That was the untold story of the Crocodile Guy's death - he rode a large ray and it drove its barb into his chest. I know he was in agony in his last moments...
Anyway...I had no abnormal fear of them even though I had some reason to. Like suddenly becoming afraid of horses after knowing them for years...

...like how blue used to be my favorite color when I was a kid... until I started middle school then it switched to red because I couldn't stand that color anymore for some reason... and blue lights bother me too...

I do think it's our minds inturupting something unimaginable into something, well, just scary. I know that my memory was something real, but I also know that Jason could not have been real. The only explanation is that my mind couldn't wrap itself around what it was I really saw, so it created an image that was truly scary to me in place. It kept with the "theme" of the moment, which was horror, but created something that I could understand. ~shrug~

Either that or something erased our real conscious memories and our subconscious is trying to replace them with something similar...or similarly terrifying. I had another dream a few days ago but I forgot to post it so I will attempt to do it now...if I can remember it. April 8, 2012Cliff and I were driving around in a car. Cliff was doing the driving. It must have been his car because it wasn't one of mine. It looked like a newer model silvery blue colored two door. I have no idea what kind.
We were driving through a part of the country that had a lot of trees and a few pretty good sized hills. They definitely were not big enough to be mountains but there were some pretty deep ravines and gullies in them. It kind of looked like Missouri or Northwestern Arkansas.
As we were going through this small town some drunken dude wandered out in front of us and Cliff ran into him and knocked him down. I don't know if he noticed or not because he kept on driving. I tiold him that he had just hit somebody but he kept right on cruising along...he had a really glazed look in his eyes...like he was in a trance or something.
Pretty soon the police are chasing after us and Cliff just keeps right on going like he still hasn't noticed anything wrong. We finally come to a deadend in the road that overlooks a small hill so we can see down into the valley and Cliff finally has to come to a stop. The police are surrounding us. I'm thinking about making a run for it...not because I have any reason to since I didn't do anything wrong, but just for the priciple of it. I don't like getting stopped by the police. If I had been driving they never would have caught up to us, but Cliff still has that really weird look in his eye like he is still in a trance. He just sits there looking out the windshield at the trees as the cops move in...that's when I woke up.This dream wasn't a nightmare for me. I didn't really feel any emotion at all other than confusion about Cliff's really weird behavior. Also a little frustration that I wasn't driving when the cops were chasing after us. I was not in the mood to get caught without a chase. I hardly ever am. It was just a weird dream. I have no idea what it means.

Perhaps we were coming up to visit you. I forgot to mention that the dude that got ran over looked very similar to a native American dude that I used to know in high school. Don't know if that means anything or not.

Don't know if that means anything or not. A large percentage of the Native population in Alaska unfortunately suffer from alcohol dependence. Seeing an intoxicated Alaska Native staggering down the street is sadly a fairly common sight up here- especially downtown... The Indians up here look an awful lot like the Indians who live in the lower 48 states... they just tend to be shorter and larger structured up here because of the climate I guess. That's really an interesting dream...

It will be interesting to see what Cliff will have to say about it...especially since it was he who allowed us to get caught. He was going slow enough to be driving Miss Daisy. I guess it would be kind of hard to outrun the dream police in a little silver economy car tho. The next time I have a dream about being chased by the police I hope we will be in a faster car...and that The Stig will be driving it.

Hmmm,,,That is strange . According to Kelly I do drive like im driving miss Daisy these days, lol. Back in the day I had my share of fast cars when I was in my early to mid 20's. For instance, I had a 350 Rocket and I just had to know why they called it that,,,,,lol,,,among other muscle cars back then like a 400 big block and so on.
Now I own a black Chevy Lumina (4 door) family car.
I had another dream too and Sky you were in it,,,,seriously for real just 2 nights ago. I dreamed we caught an alien but that's all I remember .

If I can remember more soon I'll share but its vague. It seems Ive been having more and more dreams lately compared to none at all for what seemed a long time. I may have to start a dream journal if I have more,,,lol.

Here is the UFO dream that I had last week while I was camping out in Lampasas. I talked about it a little on my investigations thread. April 19, 2012I was working on some kind of a government prison or labor camp. I wasn't a prisoner there but I was under the impression that status could have changed at any moment.
As I was standing there minding my own business I suddenly saw a large cigar-shaped UFO come crashing down about a quarter mile away. It look just like a cigar and didn't have any wings at all except for a tall tail fin on the back. There was fire shooting out of the back of it like a rocket would have.
The craft somehow levelled off just before it hit the ground and then exploded in a gazillion pieces scattered bits and pieces of metal and debris all over the place. Naturally I headed over to check it out.
The "metal" was more of a plastic synthetic compound that just looked like metal. It was all black and charred from the explosion and fire but still partially intact. It was very lightweight too.
As I was searching through the wreckage while still acting like I was doing my job the military police came rushing over in their armored cars and SUVs. There was an unfortunate prisoner who had been working in the area where the craft came down and it almost landed on top of him. The MPs quickly slapped handcuffs on him and hauled him away, probably to some place where he would never return. They were giving me the evil eye also but since I only worked there instead of being a prisoner, and since I was still pretending to be doing my job they left me alone. I figured they would probably arrest me and detain me later though becuase that was the type of thing that they did. i didn't care though. I wasn't about to let some silly thing like the threat of imprisonment and torture stop me from examining a UFO crash so I kept grabbing pieces and hiding them in my clothes.
I woke up shortly after that...I think it is interesting how many dreams I have been having in recent years about being imprisoned by the government. I had that one a little while ago where I was a prisoner in a Nazi concentration camp and now this one here where I was once again in some type of government forced labor camp, although not yet as a prisoner. Could it be that my subconscious mind is taking everyday fears and worries and transfering them to dreams? Like how I think the government is planning on taking total control over everything and turning the country into a police state? Or is it possible that the dream I had before about the Nazis was something that actually happened? Could the dream I just had now be something that may happen in the future? Or is it just a random dream? I dunno...

I dunno either, but I agree with you. It's probably your own fears of government oppression coming out in your dreams...

I agree with Lorelei..I should be dreaming about those fema camps but I do not. Was this place like one of those?? Of course we do not really know the truth about them. Only here say on the internet.

It didn't really look like a Fema camp...of course I don't really know what one looks like either. The place in my dream seemed to be out in the southwest somewhere because there were very few trees. Or maybe all of the trees had been cleared away...like some large military base or something. I wonder if those FEMA camps are visible on Google Earth?

I had another dream last night. This one is short but it kind of ties in with other dreams I have been having lately so there might be a pattern forming.
May 1, 2012
I dreamed that I was in a big city park on the outskirts of some large city. There were buildings off in the distance and wide open fields all around me. In my hands was a rocket.
The rocket was about three feet long with a fuse on the end that was just begging to be lit. I just happened to have some matches also and it wasn't long before the fews was sputtering and hissing like fuses do just before something blows up.
With a flash and a huge roar the rocket took off heading straight for the city. Fire was shooting out the back of it as it zigzagged all over the place in between the buildings. I was wondering if people would report it as a UFO and I actually felt a little bit guilty that I might have contributed to a hoax.
Apparently somebody did report it as something because it wasn't long before a police car pulled into the parking lot. the long trail of smoke billowing out the back of the missile must have lead them right to me. I kind of sort of started to hide but couldn't quite convince myself dto do it because I was still fascinated by the rocket that was still flying around over the city. the police officers gave me the evil eye like they were thinking about arresting me but they didn't actually do it...at least not before I woke up.
This is the second dream in a row that I have had about being looked at with suspician by police officers. the last one was the dream about seeing the UFO crash on the military prison camp. In neither dream was I actually arrested by the police but I did feel threatened by them as if they were contemplating arresting me.
I wonder what keeps causing me to dream about the police? Or am I really just dreaming about breaking the law or rebelling against authority which I kind of did in both dreams?

I dreamed about a ghost last night. Or a haunted house, but there was a ghost in it. I don't normally dream about ghosts. The last time I did was when I saw those two glowing eyes in the cemetery and that one scared the bejeepers out of me! This one wasn't too bad. May 25, 2012I was in a haunted house. It was a big two story wood frame house that still had a lot of the furniture and things in it. It looked like it had not been lived in for some time but probably could have been. Everything was still pretty much intact.
I was wondering around upstairs looking for ghosts, or anything else of interest, and I kept hearing something banging, like a door was slamming shut somewhere. I went downstairs to take a look but all of the doors appeared to be normal. I was heading towards the back door of the house to see if anybody was there opening and shutting the door when I happened to feel a draft of wind blowing out of a crack in the wall. naturally, I stopped to investigate.
After feeling along the wall for a bit I found a panel that could be swung open which lead back to a hidden passageway that went underneath the house. Looking in I could see a large room that apparently nobody knew was there. There was nothing in it but some dust and dried leaves on the floor. Light was filtering into the room through some cracks in the walls so it was pretty well illuminated.
As I started to creep through the passageway heading towards the hidden room I suddenly saw a gust of wind whip the leaves and dust up into a small tornado that started coming towards me. The air felt ice cold and it suddenly dawned on me that I should probably not be sneaking around in some hidden room that nobody even knew existed by myself. If something happened nobody would ever find me.
I made a hasty retreat out of the passageway and slammed the panel back into place just as the gust of wind hit it and forced it open. I shoved it closed with a bang and the wind blew it open again. I slammed it shut again and pushed hard against it and to my shock and surprise I could feel something pushing back. Obviously something wanted out! I seemed to be in a tug of war with a ghost.
Straining as hard as I could I watched in horror as the little door was forced open inch by inch until finally in desperation I slammed the thing shut again and then ran for the backdoor of the house. Whatever it was was hot on my heels.
I dove through the back door and slammed it shut once again as the unseen wind bashed against it. Once again the door started opening little by little. I braced my feet against the porch railing and pushed as hard as I could while something on the inside pushed back with equal fury.
Turning my head a little to look through the small glass window that was in the door I was surprised to see a woman's face looking back at me just inches from my own. She was curled up on the floor the same as I was with her back against the door and her feet pushing against the wall with all her might. It was a ghost and she was trying to get out!
The woman appeared to be older than me...probably in her 50s or so. She had short cut light brown hair and was wearing what appeared to be a low cut dress with shoulder straps. I think it was a dark red color with some type of flower pattern on it. I'm not sure about the colors because I was not really looking at her clothes. I was mainly staring at her eyes and her mouth. She was saying something. I couldn't hear what but I could see her mouth moving and I knew she was saying something to me but try as I might I could not make out what she was saying. That's when I woke up.************************************ This dream seemed important to me for some reason. I have no idea why but it was important enough that I lay in bed thinking about it for about an hour afterwards trying to figure out what it all meant. I even reminded myself not to forget it so I could write about it on the forum today. I wish I knew what the woman was saying to me though. This is the second time I have dreamed about that same house. I had a dream a few weeks ago about it that I didn't write down in my dream thread because nothing really happened. I was just in that house looking around at all of the furniture and belongings that were still inside of it and wondering why nobody had ever taken them out. There wasn't any ghost in it the first time though.

Wow that's a cool dream sky... Sounds like the recurring nightmare I used to have about the front door... and sometimes the bedroom door... but instead of an unseen force trying to get out, it was trying to get in... and I was trying to keep it OUT... I wonder what it means too...
