I tried to copy the first two paragraphs but this whole page came here instead. that print is too small for me. But I blow my screen up to read a article of any kind.

I came across the story a few years ago. It certainly makes one wonder...

i've never heard of this story lois... but i wouldn't be shocked if it were true... also, i wouldn't be surprised if the kids accidentally walked thru an inter-dimensional doorway... interesting story...

Always been one of my favs. I looked up any foods that might have caused their skin to turn green, but the best I found was carrots turning a skin orange, silver colloidal turning skin blue, and vegetable bromine turning skin red. I suppose, you could take this to strange levels and say, if they got their drinking water from a nearby silver mine, their skin might turn blue. And then if they got jaundice, which turns a skin yellow, and can be caused by such things as mononucleosis, jaundiced breast milk, Weil's Disease (from exposure to infected farm animals), they might actually become green. Although, considering that they only liked to eat raw green beans, at least at first, if someone put them on a diet of green beans since they were born, would their skin turn green? We'll never know.
This is kinda like Kaspar Hauser, who was found wandering around in Munich, I think, and know one knew where he came from. He wasn't green, or anything, but he did tell a tale of being locked in a room so small from birth, that he could not stand upright.
Anyway, nice thread here, and yes, I love the story and I'd rather personally believe they came from another dimension, another world or the center of the earth. And so it goes.
